I agree with that NikoN.
The Human Condition isn’t an easy topic, most people have spent their lives trying to avoid it so its pretty tough for friends and family to grasp the logic being presented.
I think The Interview was as clear and compact a presentation of this information about the human condition that I’ve ever seen, read or heard.
I just wanted to agree with Nicoletta and Sascha. Jeremy’s recent interview with Craig was amazing and really helpful, inspiring for me.
If you haven’t listened to The Interview yet you’ve got to find the time.
I know this is an older post but I love the subject “Great Development” because your understanding of this information is always developing which leads to new questions and excitement, which is why this forum is so good.
Jeremy Griffiths explanation of the Human Condition describes what an incredible journey it has been for the human race and for each of us individually, and it only makes sense that it does take some time, developing to process just how tangled / conflicted humans are.
Even as a Transformed Life Force, that developing, increased understanding and subsequent excitement, freedom and happiness never stops.
I hope anyone who has come this far keeps reading the experiences of other people, keeps reading Griffiths explanation and watching videos.
It’s a tricky one because there is the question, ‘what is it’ and the answer.
There are so many good responses posted above but I find myself coming back to the most simple explanation like these ones from Sam and Conrad.
“We’re talking about the psychological source of why humans are capable of being both divisive and integrative, and digesting the biological insights presented by Jeremy Griffith that resolves that contradiction through his intellect vs instinct explanation.”
“This information is about the resolution of the human condition. The human condition is the underlying insecurity that we all humans have of being unable (until now) to properly explain that we are worthwhile/deserving of love.”
Given that it is a difficult issue for people to talk about your personal connection, understanding or interest in this information makes it so much easier to communicate to others.
The more you read, listen or watch this information the easier it becomes to communicate.
Thanks for putting that quote up Lissy. I went and watched the video after reading it and its great.
I remember that moment for me was associated with the Adam Stalk Story … I had been reading some of Jeremy Griffiths earlier books and I had the moment when I thought that explains exactly what is happening in my mind and exactly what I’m seeing in the people around me.
Now when I read through Freedom it really is a process of “striping back the layers of denial” and it really is “a revelation”.
It still makes me excited to think about it.
Anther thing I liked about the interview is that it encourages people to persevere with understanding the information.
I want to encourage anyone who has been interested enough to look into the human condition to give yourself time to absorb the most insightful information ever presented about the most difficult topic on the planet.
Wow Nicoletta, that was such a clean description of a miss-reading that I think so many people go through, and the exact solution to the problem. I certainly relate to everything you said about resignation … in the early days thinking it was a bad thing.
The point you make
“that Humans are the heroes of the Journey of life because we have had to be courageous enough to resign ourselves to a life of power, fame, fortune and glory. We have had to kill off our souls, to continue the heroic battle to find understanding. So Be proud of being a resigned individual”
“now after knowing that we are heroes for resigning, we can now change our state of thinking and live through the part of our brain that loves this information and begin to transform ourselves from living in the resigned, dark existence buried in Plato’s cave, to basking in the liberating sunshine of understanding to truly transform into the new world of living!”
are the two points (along with the Adam Stalk story) that I go to in my mind whenever I need to remind myself what has transformed my life and how we can transform the world.
Thanks for putting your thoughts on the forum.
I’m reluctant to write anything next to that because I think it is such a clean description of exactly the same experience I’ve been through and conversations I still have with myself when I notice my resigned habituated behaviour trying to sneak its way back into my life. All of a sudden everything we do in our lives has meaning.
I think this paragraph describes it perfectly and as you said “it’s that simple”.
“what if I went to todays internship for the new world, and everyone who is fighting to support and build it? It felt fantastic, all of a sudden, the burden of being entangled in a conflicted frustrated mess was gone. I had added immense purpose to my seemingly meaningless task, that was bigger than just myself. I genuinely felt excited about going, because it was my contribution to the new world.”
Your next sentence is the change in my transformed life and you just get better and better at it becoming the default thought process “I had added immense purpose to my seemingly meaningless task, that was bigger than just myself. I genuinely felt excited about going, because it was my contribution to the new world”
Chris I’m excited reading those words so I can understand you are (I’m going to print that and put it on my wall) … that is the description for a exciting, meaningful and transformed life right there … its gold.
I think Marto’s answer is really helpful, a great piece of advice to read Essay 23.
The freedom that comes with letting go of your upset from the human condition and accepting the truth of Integrative Meaning, and truely seeing yourself as part of it in the Transformed State, I think is almost a redefining of “spiritual”.
The Essay 23 really is a must read.
It always interesting reading what everyone has to say from different positions.
I thought Olivers, Stefans and Sams were awesome and most compact.
Having said that there are plenty of great / interesting bits and pieces through out the thread.
It’s a great challenge so keep posting them … and help make me better at explaining the human condition and its beautiful answer.
I just want to encourage your interest in this explanation and what you have already established yourself.
Its exciting and confirming to read Jeremy’s writing and apply it to our lives.
While I’m not a christian I remember how amazing it was to finally understand religion and the important role it has had to play in the human journey.
This information and the transformation it provides is the fulfilment of what all the great profits, central to all the great religions, wanted to achieve for the human race.
I’ll look forward to reading your next post.
Guys the human condition has been solved !!!!
Its alway and interesting balance between establishing that this information rationally adds up, which is a really important part of supporting it and getting lost in our own thoughts, making this information sound far more complicated than it is.
The Sunshine Highway has been beautifully laid out in front of us … a lot of this discussion sounds like people trying to “reinvent the wheel” or getting distracted with what are currently irrelevant topics. If you’re drowning in the ocean and someone throws you a lifejacket it doesn’t make sense to have a conversation about the colour of the fabric used to make it … once you establish that it floats you just use it.
Integrative Meaning or Negative Entropy is simple and super exciting, at moment lets use this explanation and focus on transforming our embattled lives as we run down the Sunshine Highway fixing the world …
Hi David, well that is an intense description but I think one that a lot of people who have read Freedom would relate to.
I think you’re right … the amazing / exciting and transforming effect of explaining the Human Condition does ‘remove that splinter’.
Its clear in your comment just how significant this moment is when you can finally explain something you’ve known was wrong your whole life and now you can put words to those feelings.
I would just say take your time absorbing this information, even though you feel like you might burst with excitement or relief … because a calm steady approach to that adjustment will work in your favour.
I’ll be cheering for you …
What a great thread. Thanks to you all for writing in it.
I think that is some of the most clear, exciting and rational discussion of what this information can do for us now that I’ve read … and there is a LOT of great discussion on this forum.
I agree Dave that the Transformation Video is very helpful and I would encourage everyone to watch it for all the reasons Tommy has explained perfectly above.
I just wanted to say thank you to the awesome WTM Admin for creating this forum because it wasn’t until I read about the Development of Order of Mater / Integrative Meaning that all the disciplines of science finally had a relevance / made sense to me.
It is still so exciting to think / see that one of the governing laws of physics gives direction to all the development of life / mater on earth and that there IS direction / meaning.
To finally understand that chemistry under the influence of physics lead to biology and primates then the creation of a conscious mind … WOOOOW
AND NOW we have the understanding that unlocks our conscious mind. Thank you Jeremy for your work its been a life changer for me and is obviously the best information I’ve ever read or watched or listened to.
I first read this information about 3 years ago and I feel like your comment could have come out of my mouth.
In one sense its not surprising that the depth of this information can take years to let ourselves access when you think about how practiced the human race had to become at avoiding any topic that might bring our behaviour and mental conflict into focus.
In a way its a bonus you get to discover another level of love and compassion for the current human condition and excitement for the future, every time you have one of those ‘aha!! moments”
