It’s simple, whenever, whoever created humans, gave us the ability to decide.
WTM Admin
Having “the ability to decide” is what created the human condition! To master the incredible potential of the conscoius mind’s ability to self-manage, the conscious mind had to defy our dictatorial instincts which resulted in humans becoming angry, egocentric and alienated — the upset state of our human condition. The psychological suffering the human condition has caused for humans is a deeply tragic reality. However, at last we are able to understand the battle between our instinct and intellect which is immensely relieving and completely rehabilitating, but it does present a massive paradigm shift that takes time to consider.

I’ve spent so much of my life feeling gentle,
Loving and caring to fellow humans, but equally frustrated at elements of the human race. I now have clarity into understanding the human condition. Listening to this video finally gave me the knowledge I was searching for, but couldn’t put my finger on! It’s as if I’ve finally been released…I believe the human condition is made worse by governments and rules. Our natural nature is to roam, be free, but we are conflicted by restraints and what our innate nature wants to be.
WTM Admin
Yes, what is so extraordinary about Jeremy Griffith’s biological treatise is that it logically and accountably defends human selfishness and egocentricity. And it is only with that defence of our ‘dark side’, through finding the good reason that we had to defy our instincts, that we can reconcile ourselves with our instincts and behave intuitively, because all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant. We no longer need them because we have the real defence for why we had to defy our instincts!

THIS is exactly right ive felt this way for a while, empathy should heal the world, this should be explained to all MEN who are struggling with mental health, I think we told “it can never be healed” by people who thought it could never be fixed, challenge ur agression and ego with selflessness and empathy its brings so much more JOY than u think :D
not me being the stork hahahahah
thanks jeremy ur the best for showing people this amazing knowledge :)

WTM Admin
The astonishing claims being made about Jeremy Griffith’s work do warrant initial scepticism however they all withstand scrutiny as what he presents is 100% logic. People find once they begin exploring the explanation the more they do the more they realise the claims are actually true, and in time become appreciated for their forthright honesty in indicating where the solution to our problems lies — as the commendations Jeremy’s work has received from eminent scientists and thinkers attest.

This is exciting, can’t wait to read the whole book

I am only at chapter 2.6 but already I am curious about the process that created our current tendency to avoid a serious examination of how humanity has ended up in such a mess. For many years I puzzled over the conflict between cause and effect and our deeper moral code and I am now using this work to investigate from an alternative direction in my thinking. Thanks, lots of work still to do!
WTM Admin
Awesome Barry, we hope you continue reading Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM because your understanding will only continue to grow. You might also be interested in Jeremy’s presentation The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect which sheds a lot of light on “the process that created our current tendency to avoid a serious examination of how humanity has ended up in such a mess.”

There is now no defense for doing evil...!!! The time has come for everyone to get with the program. I am sure that there is still a large battle to win... In the short term, how will AI help and hurt the healing ?
WTM Admin
Thanks Elaine. As you say in your comment below, the real answer is, “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from, which is non-personal and thus more easily confronted, absorbed and accepted. It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”
Thank you; we will finally be able to move forward instead of just going round and round in circles.

I’m hoping that all the politicians here in the Philippines would hear this interview and make them realize the true purpose of their profession... To free the country from the existing “predatory governance”.
WTM Admin
Thanks Syd. While it takes some time to digest, we suggest that what you will come to realise is that all people, not just those in power, suffer from the human condition. As a result of the ‘instinct vs intellect’ clash we are all insecure about our true self worth, and as a result we are all defensively angry, egocentric and alienated. While it will take a number of generations for the upset within us to be completely healed but it also stresses importantly we can be immediately free of its effects. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world.

We don’t disagree with you Doreen, but while it takes time to digest we suggest that what is presented here actually takes it further, and presents the ultimate source of our species' “Repressed Traumas, Physical & Sexual Abuse, neglect, emotional & verbal abuse”. You may be interested in FAQ 1.34, which is directed to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis?’ and is written by Professor Harry Prosen, the former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association. It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”

With regards to your contention that things are getting better, we suggest that with the redeeming defence of our psychologically upset condition, it is now possible to admit that we began as innocent but are becoming ever more psychologically corrupt, and that things are actually deteriorating at an alarming rate. In FAQ 1.33, Jeremy explains that, “Basically we would talk about all manner of positive achievements without ever mentioning the negative of how horrendously corrupted and horrendously practising of denial of that truth and thus how horrendously alienated/psychotic/split from our true all-loving and all-sensitive instinctive self or soul we actually were. There was this massive metaphorical elephant in the room, our extremely alienated condition, that no one was confronting or admitting.”

He explains life and it’s being in a way that makes me see myself in my mind’s eye. He keeps reminding me that as human, I have a conscience that reminds me of the consequences of my actions, as compared to the other creatures which actions are controlled by instincts only.
The interviewer takes my credit also, for his exceptional interviewing technique. He drives the interview in a way that digs more into the topic. Thanks for this mind moving interview ❤️👍🇱🇷

People are onekind of animals... we call us humans... but we have feelings like jelous, hate, anger and we need to feel, that we are better than others. We are boses: we had slaves and prizoners hundreds of years...wars are going on. So all that speach is just bullshit... have a nice day! 😄
WTM Admin
We suggest that if you were digest what is being presented you would realise that it explains why “we have feelings like jelous, hate, anger and we need to feel, that we are better than others”. Jeremy’s work gets to the original source of all the ‘jealousy anger and hate’ and fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition. As the distinguished psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen (who wrote the Introduction to Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM) said: “What Griffith is presenting is understanding of the source insecurity that the whole human race suffers from for having destroyed our species’ innocent soul. It is a universal self-blame that his understanding at last provides healing insight into. All human behavior is saturated with that universal insecure, depressing state and resulting anger, egocentricity and alienation that has developed from it, but we finally have the compassionate foundation insight needed to dismantle all that ‘upset’/psychosis. So the real psychotherapy of our collective and individual psychoses can begin”.

WTM Admin
Hi Tariq, it is absolutely wonderful you have listened to THE Interview you want to share Jeremy Griffith’s work with your church. THE Interview is the perfect introduction and it is freely available on our homepage to download or print and also broadcast for non-commercial use (in accordance to the copyright notice which you can see at the end of THE Interview). For instance we encourage people to hold screenings of THE Interview which you can see on our website here.
Jeremy’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition at last reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. As you may have sensed, rather than threatening religions, what people discover is it is the fulfilment of a time that all the great prophets looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves. His work simply brings biological understanding to religion’s pre-scientific descriptions of our condition. We recommend our FAQs about religion especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.

Thank you. I want this to work but honestly don’t think enough will listen
WTM Admin
Take heart, JamieSue, because as you can see from the thousands of impressive commendations on our homepage from thought leaders and members of the public, and the over 80 WTM Centres that have opened across the globe, the relief and excitement of finally being able to make sense of human life is turning into a tidal wave of world-saving support!! As Part 4 of THE Interview and WTM FAQ 1.40 explain, while the world is fast approaching a point of no return, this understanding will turn things around incredibly quickly, because it explains and solves the underlying cause of all our selfishness, anger and egocentricity. We also recommend reading Freedom Essay 15: ‘How understanding the human condition can immediately transform your and every other human’s life and save the world’. Also, as with any new scientific breakthrough in history it takes time to gain mainstream acceptance, and from there break through the bastions of power in the world (see FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream’) but rest assured the WTM is totally devoted to promoting this world-saving understanding and, as evidenced above, even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point we are well on our way! If you would like to help by sharing this understanding – for some ideas, see FAQ 3.4 ‘How can I help the WTM?’.

I find it confusing that he blames the Left for illusions but does not address the selfish-grifting of the Right? This seems to contradict his entire premise. The Left seeks compassion and inclusion while the Right says the survival of the wealthiest. Am I confusing the terms used in US-Oz?
Michael
Very Interesting, deep and informative. Listen to it, hear what is being said.
WTM Admin
Hi Margo and thank you for your comment. This critical new science introduces a huge paradigm shift, an entirely new way of viewing humans and our behaviour, so it does take a little time to fully absorb it. Also, as THE Interview explains, the human condition is the most fearful of subjects because it’s the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad and our historic fear of this interface can make it hard to understand all that is explained in one viewing (FAQ 1.16 explains this initial ‘deaf effect’). So we suggest it isn’t the terms used but rather the nature of the subject matter that is causing your confusion. What biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wing. His work certainly recognises the destructive brutality of the right-wing; indeed he brings understanding to the whole extremely destructive angry, egocentric and alienated human condition. He also recognises the failing of the Left, which is that its dogmatic insistence on cooperative, selfless and loving behaviour stifled and oppressed the freedom of expression and individualism needed to find knowledge, ultimately self-knowledge, the redeeming understanding of our seemingly destructive human condition that thankfully he has now found and presents in his book FREEDOM. Basically his work brings profound understanding to both sides, which ultimately brings to an end the whole ugly business of politics. This is fully explained in our FAQs about politics which we encourage you to explore.
Robert
The interview was absolutely to the point & clearly the answer to all world problems but a more concise version might be more widely read ?
WTM Admin
It’s wonderful you can access the significance of what THE Interview presents Robert and how it is the universal answer to the world’s problems! In terms of a more concise version while great care has been taken to present the explanation as quickly and simply as possible (which is done in Part 1) THE Interview also explains the very nature of the human condition means discussion of it can be initially difficult to access for many people. This is because historically the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad has been the most terrifying of all subjects to face, and so we have necessarily lived in almost total denial of it, which means people’s minds can initially struggle to hear and absorb discussion about it. Wonderfully however, this ‘deaf effect’ can be overcome with patient perseverance and everyone can access this most wonderful of all gifts of understanding the human condition! Our FAQ 1.16 explains this phenomenon and its solution in greater detail and includes the section ‘deaf to the Deaf Effect’ which is written by someone like yourself who can easily access this understanding but had trouble accessing why others found it harder so that might be very interesting for you to read. Also, FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept which, along with THE Interview, is helpful to share.

I now have faith and an explanation that the end of the world as we know is finally achievable. All the signs are there that the end of world is close, not the actual world no longer existing but being run in a new way where peace love harmony and compassion can actually be the main purpose of our existence. Not hard at all to realise why this isn’t being taught in schools, because the world is currently being run by evil who just want us to be poor and unhappy yet greedy and selfish whilst at the same time appreciative and grateful. Thank you Craig Conway for asking the questions and thank you Jeremy Griffith for answering them so eloquently and simply. What would we do without people like you, I dread to think.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Donna and yes this explanation of the human condition does open up an entirely new world of understanding and way to live — a whole new civilisation emerges to replace the old one! Also as Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview, all humans suffer from the universal psychosis caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. This clash caused us to became angry, egocentric and alienated or psychologically ‘upset’ – so all humans, to varying degrees, suffer from the human condition. You may find our FAQ 1.40 interesting as it addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

[I loved this interview, because I have always felt that without cooperation and empathy with each other, humans, as well as our earliest hominid and pre-hominid ancestors, would have found it virtually impossible to survive and thrive in their environment, where in those distant times they were the prey of other animals better equipped to hunt them. So the same cooperation is needed in today’s world to overcome the serious survival challenges we face, many of which we have brought about or exacerbated ourselves. However, I wonder if we were better able to develop that empathy and cooperation when most of our evolutionary history was spent in small or even family groups, where empathy for others in the group was somehow reinforced and almost obligatory. In any case, thank you for this interview. (Tr. from Spanish)]
WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment José. We can now understand that our ancestral cooperation did not evolve in order to help us survive, but through the ‘love-indoctrination’ process that is referred to in Part 3 (see more in Freedom Essay 21). Most importantly though, we can now understand that with the emergence of consciousness, we necessarily lost cooperative, loving attitude in order to continue the corrupting, but all-important search for knowledge. We have now answered the essential question of why, when the ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish? To quote FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solve everything’: “So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race.”
Brian cooper
It’s a breakthrough for me to digest. I am fed up of the open distain shown by people who think that their push for power and pressure their so called subordinates is justified by birth or wealth
WTM Admin
Yes, there is a lot to digest here Brian. what is so significant about the explanation of the human conditon is that this understanding defends our so-called ‘dark side’ and explains that despite all appearances to the contrary, all humans are ‘good’. And paradoxically, by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to end the perpetuation of our destructive behaviour!

Fascinating. It resembles the story of the Bible and how humans fell from GRACE/PEACE/LOVE/ NURTURING/UN Acknowledged NAKEDNESS/INOCENSE in the GARDEN OF EDEN to the FALL & THE UNDERSTANDING OF GOOD & EVIL AFTER BEING CONFRONTED WITH EVIL AND COMPETITION after having Disobeyed the LAWS OF THE CREATOR
WTM Admin
Yes, as is explained in THE Interview, the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans ‘fall’ or them becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’. However as Jeremy stresses, we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’. And with that redeeming answer to the human condition now found, our psychological upset (so called ‘sinful’ or ‘fallen’ state) can actually subside. You might be interested in our FAQ’s about religion.

I already knew this what’s the big deal here? Spirituality is the way
WTM Admin
While it takes some time to digest, we suggest that what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work is that he has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? Our endeavours in religion, philosophy, psychology and biology have failed, until now, to provide a truthful, real, fully accountable, genuinely clarifying explanation. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here. It is this understanding, although it is commpletely rational and scientific, that unlocks the sensitivy that we have had to bury, and thus unlocks the so-called ‘spirituality’ that you refer to. Please see our FAQ 6.7 which discusses whether a scientific explanation can ever encompass the so-called ‘spiritual’ element of life.

IF this has solved the human condition and saved the world, then why is there so much garbage going on daily ?
WTM Admin
As with any new scientific breakthrough in history it will take time to gain mainstream acceptance, and from there break through the bastions of power in the world. However, once this information gets a foothold through enough people developing a deep appreciation and desire to support it, the selfless love and energy that will generate will solve our problems very quickly because, as THE Interview explains, instead of being selfishly preoccupied with power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world.
And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point we are well on our way as you can see from the excitement and relief in our daily ecstatic responses to THE Interview! Also, on our homepage, you can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy Griffith’s work with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres opening all over the world!

WTM Admin
Thank you for your feedback, Karen. This new science presents a huge paradigm shift in our thinking so it does take a little time to see how it can address your concern, but it actually does and will turn our dire situation around incredibly quickly because it explains and solves the underlying cause of all our selfishness, anger and egocentricity that has made the world so fraught. We suggest our FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world?’. So the next question is what did instinct detect that it needed the aid of intellect to understand? What felt so important to be worth enduring all the pain to get to this point? Intellect has developed its ability to understand, so what is instinct now trying to ask its matured part for help with? What of instinct saying “I need time to explore. Please help me filter things, assess, and understand this vague notion I am chasing.” Where does reciprocation lead? What of a fusion of these two elements, now that they no longer need to combat each other? If one drives, while the second acts as navigator (which might vary by individual), where does that take us?
Equating it to instinct and intellect really helps make the conflict more tangible than something like Light and Dark or yin and yang. It’s a step great forward, but I don’t believe it is a 100% complete and finished answer. Why is there no discussion of the possibility of another step after this one?
Once one can accept both instinct and intellect, or perhaps emotions and logic as parallels, the next step should be allow them to comingle and find a synergistic, collaborative balance. Working in unison instead of merely agreeing to take turns, as appropriate for a particular situation.
WTM Admin
Thanks for wrestling with this Sam. The Adam Stork story explains instincts are hardwired, they are rigid, and so they are in effect intolerant of any divergent, non-instinctive behaviour. Unfortunately (in terms of creating a clash with those instincts) the conscious mind is an insightful system which works by associating information, and in order to find those insights it has to experiment with different behaviours. Which means that our emerging conscious mind would have had to divert from our preestablished instinctual behaviour to find these understandings. And, as Jeremy explains in Part 1 of this interview, when our conscious mind wrested control from our instincts and began its search for understanding our instincts in effect criticised the conscious mind which produced our psychologically upset human condition (summarised in FAQ 1.3, and you can read more about the difference between intellect and instincts in FAQ 1.41).
Going forward, as is explained in our FAQ 1.36, “Having the redeeming, reconciling explanation of why our conscious mind had to defy our original ideal-behaviour-insisting instinctive self or soul does not mean our instincts will stop continuing to seek to impose their selfless, loving and cooperative orientation. However, being able to now understand the very good reason why the conscious mind has to search for knowledge means that these instinctive directives will no longer be interpreted by the conscious mind as ‘criticism’, and so it will no longer be psychologically upsetting; indeed our instinct’s/conscience’s feedback will forevermore be wonderful ‘guidance’.”

I’m curious what is really human condion and what is all about it? Can you explain it
WTM Admin
Hi Rudy, you may be interested in reading FAQ 1.3 as it presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition. Essentially, when we humans developed a conscious mind some 2 million years ago, a battle unavoidably developed between it and our already established cooperative instincts. The result of this conflict between our instinct and intellect was that we became psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric – the upset state we refer to as the human condition. But now that we can explain and understand this conflict, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition.

Good for me to listen.

Eye opening and stunning video. The matter is captivating and well explained, step by step. The interviewer is very helpful in summarising after each key point. I’m not a native speaker but I followed through comfortably.

I wish all teachers and all people in the world read this book.

Yeah, it makes sense, but only to a degree. It’s very naive to compare humans to Bonobos. Just like all primates, we’re very different. That 1% DNA difference doesn’t sound much, but it’s like comparing the top 1% of the world’s wealthiest to the other 99%. That 1% difference is what will prevent us from being totally cooperative. There will always be the 1% who want more, and will obtain the power to do so even if destroys them along with everyone else. It’s genetically predestined.
WTM Admin
We suggest that with the human condition now safely defended, we can admit the evidence all confirms our cooperative past, not a savage, ‘red in tooth and claw’ past as is commonly held. For example, in chapter 5 of his definitive book FREEDOM, Jeremy Griffith evidences that the cooperative and gentle bonobo represent a far better model of our human ancestors than the common chimpanzee. Both share approximately 99% of their DNA with humans, however bonobo physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, better match our human ancestors. Reduced canine size is particularly relevant as it is arguably the outstanding features of the hominin clade, and universally accepted as an indication of reduced aggression. Fossil evidence of our cooperative past, including reduced canines, has lead the prominent anthropologist C. Owen Lovejoy to write that “our species-defining cooperative mutualism can now be seen to extend well beyond the deepest Pliocene [well beyond 5.3 mya]”. No, our selfishness and aggression is not instinctive in origin – all the evidence shows that our instinctive heritage is cooperative.

Outstanding!!

Please see Yvonne’s comment below and especially the brilliant and most needed answer for people like myself who has followed a religion all my life. The work of Jeremy Griffith greatly enhances this, and I guess all religious going people of my age, at 82 years almost. It would be great to have it on the school curriculum all over the world. Sir David Attenburgh would like to see it in film, as I have read. A big thankyou to Yvonne’s comment and to the excellent WTM Admin person.
WTM Admin
Thanks very much Josephine.
Yvonne’s comment was: “Wow! Amazingly profound. This actually ties in with the theory of Christianity whilst still leaving room for non-religious beliefs. I will definitely pursue the movement in the hopes there isn’t a catch.”
WTM Admin responded: "We certainly hope you keep looking into this breakthrough understanding Yvonne because you will not be disappointed. The WTM is a global not-for-profit organisation and make all our books and publications freely available on our website. There is no ‘catch’! With regard to Christianity, as you are realising, Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, or the Bible’s content. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact, Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. And although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life; a state that we then ‘fell’ from. You might be interested in our FAQs on Religion."

Akin to gnosticism and very much in alignment 😊
WTM Admin
Gnosticism is the belief that human beings contain a piece of God within themselves, which we learn about through knowledge (gnosis), and so in a non-literal sense, you are right, Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition, which establishes our fundamental goodness as individuals and as a species, is ‘a real biological gnosticism’! We would stress that what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s treatise is that he has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? Our endeavours in philosophy, psychology and biology have failed, until now, to provide a truthful, real, fully accountable, genuinely clarifying explanation. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here.

3-5 minutes of hype and blister,
Spirituality- where is spirituality, if not introduced and discussed, explain why not.
WTM Admin
THE Interview explains all humans are born with an all-loving and compassionate soul or instinctive self, from which our spirituality is sourced, but we now suffer from a universal psychosis caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. We became alienated from our original soulful state because of our conscious mind’s necessary, and indeed heroic, search for knowledge. So we suggest, with further digestion, you will discover that liberating us from our psychosis does explain our spirituality. Also, our FAQ 6.7 discusses whether a scientific explanation can ever encompass the so-called ‘spiritual’ element of life, which you might find helpful.

Gracias, Chile.
[Greetings, Grateful for your information of many things that are ignored in this world. Yes also important for the world, a call to conscience. In a way there are many things that animals can teach us. For they are provided by nature and self-sufficiency with their intelligence. That for biological and reproductive reasons we cannot compare ourselves with them. Since similar is not equal. If this kind of material would be delivered in schools it would be more than beneficial for teachers and pupils and for the country. Thank you, Chile. (Tr. from Spanish)]

Comments on THE Interview
Since THE Interview between Craig Conway and Jeremy Griffith first aired in 2020, tens of thousands of viewers have commented on it on HumanCondition.com — this is an archive of all those comments, including helpful responses from our team.
This is page 135 of 180 (pages run from the oldest comments to the latest).
The Comments below were made between March 8, 2025 and March 21, 2025.
It’s simple, whenever, whoever created humans, gave us the ability to decide.
Fantastic ❗️❗️❗️❗️
What an eye opener. Much to digest, must repeat to make sure I’m not mistaking what I’ve learned so far. Thank you for the knowledge
I only watched episode 1 as our internet is crap this evening. So I would definitely wish to continue with the videos 😃 This has me excited for the first time in a while.
I’ve spent so much of my life feeling gentle, Loving and caring to fellow humans, but equally frustrated at elements of the human race.
THIS is exactly right ive felt this way for a while, empathy should heal the world, this should be explained to all MEN who are struggling with mental health, I think we told “it can never be healed” by people who thought it could never be fixed, challenge ur agression and ego with selflessness and empathy its brings so much more JOY than u think :D not me being the stork hahahahah thanks jeremy ur the best for showing people this amazing knowledge :)
Don’t believe everything 👁️ hear…

Thanks Elaine. As you say in your comment below, the real answer is, “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from, which is non-personal and thus more easily confronted, absorbed and accepted. It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.” Thank you; we will finally be able to move forward instead of just going round and round in circles.
I’m hoping that all the politicians here in the Philippines would hear this interview and make them realize the true purpose of their profession... To free the country from the existing “predatory governance”.
Watching and listening clearly has opened my mind with clarity and optimism for the future of mankind and possibly change the world.

It’s really great to learn about how we humans should live with each other in love and harmony.
Former RN, Psych Major. These conditions stem from Repressed Traumas, Physical & Sexual Abuse, neglect, emotional & verbal abuse!!! Sometimes people don’t want to deal with them this Depression &substance abuses!!
Part of what Professor Prosen writes is that, “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from, which is non-personal and thus more easily confronted, absorbed and accepted. It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”
Above is an answer to my question : "Part of what Professor Prosen writes is that, “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from, which is non-personal and thus more easily confronted, absorbed and accepted. Great interview.
Truth!!!
The greatest of all human efforts hinged on “Understanding the Human Condition”. So, you’re very educated by focusing on your studies on what humans expect to do in order to live in peaceful coexistence.
Isn’t this just part of evolution and we are still coming along?
Great!
Brilliant! let’s all do good for self and others and watch the ripple effect uplift everyone.
Thank you so much Jeremy for that timely explanation on the human race.
Yes these are the answers to finding peace on an individual level and for all humanity. Beautiful
Fresh and refreshing insights into understanding man and reasons for his actions which hitherto have been misunderstood and misrepresented. A great work that will help detoxify our minds.
People are onekind of animals... we call us humans... but we have feelings like jelous, hate, anger and we need to feel, that we are better than others. We are boses: we had slaves and prizoners hundreds of years...wars are going on. So all that speach is just bullshit... have a nice day! 😄
Very helpful
An interesting and very informative read
This sounds fascinating
I listened but wanted to share in Church
Would like to learn all I can
It’s wonderful to learn of your interest and enthusiasm to learn all you can Anitra!! Our website provides a feast of knowledge and it’s all completely free of charge! If you haven’t already, the first step is to watch THE Interview as it’s the ideal introduction to Jeremy Griffith’s Instinct vs Intellect explanation of the human condition and it’s at the top of our homepage HumanCondition.com. From there, under the slider of ecstatic responses to THE Interview, you will see it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ which guides you through the steps to pursue your interest. This includes subscribing to our mailing list where you will receive one email per week, occasional News Flashes, and notifications for our Live Events. We also encourage people to join our Facebook Group to learn more about this amazing, human-condition-resolved new world.
I need to learn
Thank you. I want this to work but honestly don’t think enough will listen
AN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY AND USEFUL RE-EDUCATIONAL AND RE-STORATIVE APPROACH TO THE RE-BIRTH AND RE-EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF OUR TIME1
Thank you so much love the truth
A must watch, easily understood concept.
I find it confusing that he blames the Left for illusions but does not address the selfish-grifting of the Right? This seems to contradict his entire premise. The Left seeks compassion and inclusion while the Right says the survival of the wealthiest. Am I confusing the terms used in US-Oz?
Very Interesting, deep and informative. Listen to it, hear what is being said.
The interview was absolutely to the point & clearly the answer to all world problems but a more concise version might be more widely read ?
Mind boggling. Biology redefines.Very much appreciable interview which needs to be propagated. It gives food for thought to Biologists worldwide Re-study human beings.
Amen
I am excited to listen this interview, my mind heavily conflicts of rational ideas and thoughts for humanity.
A need to see by everyone
Excellent
It’s a breakthrough for me to digest. I am fed up of the open distain shown by people who think that their push for power and pressure their so called subordinates is justified by birth or wealth
It’s so impressive an interview...!
Amazing Thank you for this knowledge
Facts. A Very Excellent interview!
TRUE WORDS LISTEN ! 🌞😎💖
Love the sound & feeling this is the news we all need 💗
Fascinating. It resembles the story of the Bible and how humans fell from GRACE/PEACE/LOVE/ NURTURING/UN Acknowledged NAKEDNESS/INOCENSE in the GARDEN OF EDEN to the FALL & THE UNDERSTANDING OF GOOD & EVIL AFTER BEING CONFRONTED WITH EVIL AND COMPETITION after having Disobeyed the LAWS OF THE CREATOR
Needed to hear. Thank you
Happy to know that there is healing on this problem of human condition today.
I already knew this what’s the big deal here? Spirituality is the way
While it takes some time to digest, we suggest that what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work is that he has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative?
I love the way you have explained everything to everyone ❤️ 💕
Thank you Jeremy for this information opportunity. This explains so much . Canada
IF this has solved the human condition and saved the world, then why is there so much garbage going on daily ?
Also, on our homepage, you can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy Griffith’s work with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres opening all over the world!Very interesting and informative
This makes so much sense, Thankyou for sharing but I’m struggling to imagine a free world
Thank you for your feedback, Karen. We hope you pursue your interest by subscribing to our mailing list, and joining our Facebook Group, to see first-hand the relief and freedom this understanding brings.
Fantastic news. A revelation. It’s about time it was explained to the human race
Thank you . Very interesting and thought provocative.
I have a better understanding of my anger issues. The biological reason makes so much sense. Our pre conscious mind operate with calm and peaceful it was when we became conscious that we became defensive and the Origin of the Species.
This is new to me, firstime listening to this ourselves human condition interesting...
Is this all free and do we receive email or where?
Yes, B, the work of the WTM is a scientific pursuit and was not created for profit, so all of our information and materials (including books, videos and podcasts) are provided absolutely free of charge — including THE Interview, which you can also find at the top of our homepage, HumanCondition.com. Also, if you subscribe to our mailing list (also provided for free) you will be sent our Freedom Essay Series, which serves as a wonderfully comprehensive course as it accompanies you through much of the content of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM.
Very inspiring and insightful!
This could start the move toward peace and happiness. All answers to our lives are within.
Fundamental and excellent! Fred Ruegg
And, as Jeremy explains in Part 1 of this interview, when our conscious mind wrested control from our instincts and began its search for understanding our instincts in effect criticised the conscious mind which produced our psychologically upset human condition (summarised in FAQ 1.3, and you can read more about the difference between intellect and instincts in FAQ 1.41).Going forward, as is explained in our FAQ 1.36, “Having the redeeming, reconciling explanation of why our conscious mind had to defy our original ideal-behaviour-insisting instinctive self or soul does not mean our instincts will stop continuing to seek to impose their selfless, loving and cooperative orientation. However, being able to now understand the very good reason why the conscious mind has to search for knowledge means that these instinctive directives will no longer be interpreted by the conscious mind as ‘criticism’, and so it will no longer be psychologically upsetting; indeed our instinct’s/conscience’s feedback will forevermore be wonderful ‘guidance’.”Great to get this relieving knowledge!
Great interview
Freedom from self and other condemnation. Replaced with understanding, compassion, and total lack of need to judge oneself and others. In essence, purified in love.
Interesting, and makes me feel a whole lot better
This is very insightful and inspiring
AMAZING
Fascinating
I award the Doctor’s perspective. What I am confused about is the jump from animal instincts to consciousness. Can you explain this aspect of your theory?
In Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains how we became fully conscious as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process. He refers the viewer to chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation — a summary of which is in FAQ 5.4.
This is valuable information.
🙏 Thank you for sharing this beautiful idea with the world and the people of this planet we need to fix the world problems together and make it better. Next generation will be able to do better than the past. We are all in the same boat. God bless all . 🙏
Jeg er taknemmelig og positiv indstillet overfor dette, super godt og tak for oplysninger [I am grateful and positive about this, great and thanks for the information (translated from Danish)]
This gives us hope for a positive future, thank you!
I’m curious what is really human condion and what is all about it? Can you explain it
Hi Rudy, you may be interested in reading FAQ 1.3 as it presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition.
This is awesome
I wish all teachers and all people in the world read this book.
Yeah, it makes sense, but only to a degree. It’s very naive to compare humans to Bonobos. Just like all primates, we’re very different. That 1% DNA difference doesn’t sound much, but it’s like comparing the top 1% of the world’s wealthiest to the other 99%. That 1% difference is what will prevent us from being totally cooperative. There will always be the 1% who want more, and will obtain the power to do so even if destroys them along with everyone else. It’s genetically predestined.
Thanks very much Josephine. Yvonne’s comment was: “Wow! Amazingly profound. This actually ties in with the theory of Christianity whilst still leaving room for non-religious beliefs. I will definitely pursue the movement in the hopes there isn’t a catch.” WTM Admin responded: "We certainly hope you keep looking into this breakthrough understanding Yvonne because you will not be disappointed.
Wow very interesting 🤔
This is what reading about keeps me energized!
Thank you for this welcome love and inspiration!!!! 🙏😌
Akin to gnosticism and very much in alignment 😊
A fascinating interview which requires alot of deep reflection thank you Dolores Whelan
Knowledge and understanding is a miracle for these very troubled times thank you and bless you
3-5 minutes of hype and blister, Spirituality- where is spirituality, if not introduced and discussed, explain why not.
Bravo
Really eye opening
Very interesting and profound, a deep sense of awakening... I am looking forward to getting more videos/podcasts/radio channels similar to this. Well done.
