Thanks that is the scientific proof for what Eckehard Tolle teaches the last 25 years
WTM Admin
Hi K, we suggest that as you keep absorbing THE Interview, and the material on our website, you will appreciate the huge distinction between Jeremy Griffith’s and Eckhart Tolle’s work. Understanding the human condition is the great unlocking point in the human journey of conscious thought and enquiry and its resolution leads, at last, to the real basis for personal and global transformation. While the New Age movement, and its proponents like Tolle, focus on teaching us to restrain and transcend our anger, alienation and selfish egocentricity, the obvious truth is we needed to resolve it at its source and that is the great breakthrough Jeremy’s work presents. We are thinking beings, we need brain food not brain anaesthetic; we needed answers for our conscious thinking mind, without that all else is ultimately futile. You can read more about this in FAQ 6.5 which explains the difference between the WTM and pseudo-idealistic movements (in addition to Part 4 of THE Interview).

Topic thoroughly discussed. Enjoyed the interview.

This is an interesting take on old issues that people have been trying to come to terms with practically forever. When Griffiths frames them in that way I can see how I’ve been circling around these questions for a long time. I think most of us are limited in our reflections because we only think about our own lives but do not have a contextual view going back to our origins. Griffiths provides that wider context.
WTM Admin
Thanks Paul. Yes, it is certainly the ‘wide context’ that Jeremy Griffith presents, which is why this is described as ‘human-condition-confronting, holistic, science’. What becomes apparent as you digest this understanding is the reason why most of us have been so limited in our thinking, just selfishly focusing on our own lives – while we haven’t been able to explain the “origins” of our depressingly non-ideal state, all we could do was “circle around” it, live in denial of it, and so unable to actually confront it, we were in no position to solve it.

Very interesting and educative interview. Science is catching up with the mystics from the east!
WTM Admin
While Buddhism and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.

Thanks for this mind opening explanation of why humans behave the way we do. But it seems 2 million years of fighting with ourselves will not just suddenly end. The very people who behave the worse in our world are the most resistant to any type of “new knowledge “.
WTM Admin
Yes John, Jeremy Griffith’s work is about confronting and solving the human condition is eye-opening, and, as you recognise, given our historic way of coping with the human condition has been to avoid it at all costs, this REAL path to our species’ returning to our natural loving way of living is a tough one to initiate. However humanity’s uptake of the explanation of the human condition has a fast finish, because, as he explains in chapter 9 of his definitive book FREEDOM, once people start having the legitimate ‘change of heart’ that this information allows, the selflessness that it liberates will not only quickly solve all the problems on the planet, but the excitement and joy it brings means everyone will want to get on board as quickly as they can! For example, Jeremy writes in chapter 9:9, “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire—as the exceptional denial-free thinking prophet Teilhard de Chardin wrote, ‘The Truth has to only appear once…for it to be impossible for anything ever to prevent it from spreading universally and setting everything ablaze’” (par. 1236).
On this point, we recommend FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’

What this guy is saying is nothing new. It is known that the human condition is psychological rather than instinctual. Freud and Jung said that all humans are neurotic and their therapies are designed to make us less neurotic
WTM Admin
We recommend reading FAQ 1.13 “Is this idea original or new? / How does biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition differ from other theories that recognise these elements?”, as it explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work. But regarding Jung and Freud, it is a useful exercise to compare Jeremy’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition to Freud’s and Jung’s work.
In his definitive presentation of this understanding, FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition, and other works, Jeremy acknowledges Freud’s courageous recognition that humans carry negative, repressed elements of our personality, a ‘repressed unconscious’. However, beyond that, there is very little similarity between Jeremy’s explanation of the human condition and Freud’s thinking. Freud believed that the ‘ID’, our unconscious, instinctive mind, contained primitive selfish ‘savage’ urges that the conscious mind or ‘ego’ has to control, whereas Jeremy has now explained that our instinctive self is completely loving and cooperative, and that our aggressive and selfish behaviour is psychological in origin, the result of a clash between our instincts and intellect. Freud also believed that our morals are learnt and held by the superego, whereas Jeremy has now explained that they are the expression of our loving, cooperative moral soul or instincts. By starting from the false basis that we have ‘savage instincts’ that the ego had to control and mediate meant that Freud was not able to explain the ultimate source of human’s psychological problems.
And likewise, we can now see that Jung’s great discovery of the shared-by-all ‘collective unconscious’ also failed to acknowledge what our ‘collective’, shared-by-all, instinctive ‘unconscious’ actually is, which again is our species’ instinctive memory of once living in a cooperative and loving state. Jung was also able to highlight a clash between instinctual drives and consciousness, but he did not explain the source of the clash (which is that our instincts were intolerant of our conscious mind’s experiments in self-management) or that the fundamental nature of our psychosis was our conscious mind’s repression of our loving and cooperative instincts.
So while Freud and Jung made great contributions to humanity’s journey toward self-understanding, what Jeremy Griffith has provided in THE Interview is the all-important clarifying, redeeming, reconciling and psychologically rehabilitating explanation for why the conflict between our instincts and our consciousness occurred. Tis this longed for explanation of the source of our upset, and the key to rehabilitating all the subsequent manifestations of the human condition.

If a parent sees its offspring doing things it sees as wrong or mistakes it could either allow the child to make those mistakes knowing they are necessary and beneficial in the long run. Or it could criticise the child for every seeming mistake which would make the child angry and resentful damaging the parent child relationship. This to me seems to be the position between the soul ( intuition) and ego (intellect) with the soul unable to allow the ego the necessary freedom. Is this a reasonable analogy?
WTM Admin
Yes, our instinctive self or soul could not allow the ego (intellect) the necessary freedom to search for knowledge, because instincts are unavoidably dictatorial; so in a sense our soul was an overly strict “parent” whose oppression, in effect condemnation, of the search the ego was undertaking did cause it to become psychologically upset.
Paul
P166. “at the very end of our journey to enlightenment….that which was ‘good’, our moral conscience, turns out to be the cause of our ‘sin’.” That’s it, right there! Well I’ll be buggered!
WTM Admin
To clarify this further comment from Paul:
P166 refers to page 166 of Jeremy Griffith’s book FREEDOM, chapter 3:7 Our instinctive moral conscience has been ‘A sharp accuser, but a helpless friend!’. The full extract, from paragraph 283, reads “...As with so many aspects of the human condition, THE TRUTH WAS NOT AS IT APPEARED. We discover at the very end of our journey to enlightenment that conscious humans, immensely corrupt as we are, are ‘good’ and not ‘bad’ after all, and that which was ‘good’, our moral conscience, turns out to be the cause of our ‘sin’.”

Great interview!
Valerie aafjes
In conversations with God, and even more clear in Communion with God (Neale Donald Walsch) “God “ explains that to know who you are, you have to experience who you are Not. Otherwise the concept is meaningless. We are (as Gods manifestations) innate good and loving. To experience and know this, we create an opposite illusion. This comes down to the same explanation as the one of Jeremy Griffith. Thanks Jeremy for your gift.
Drago Teržan
Everything said is already contained in the Bible. The Bible is in line with REAL science. Whoever reads it correctly also understands it correctly!
WTM Admin
We certainly respect people’s religious views, but feel it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, or the Bible’s content. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact, Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life (see FAQ 6.2). Our additional FAQs about religion may also be of interest.

Anthony Loubon
What’s the timeframe to establishing this awareness into the mainstream
WTM Admin
Thanks for your question Anthony. As Jeremy Griffith points out in Part 2 of THE Interview the issue of the human condition has been such a denied and off-limits subject that confronting it represents the “biggest of all blasphemies”, and how “science progresses funeral by funeral” when it comes to supporting big paradigm shifts like this. So it is up to the resolve of individuals, including scientists, to help the WTM break through the road block of the legitimate fear and resulting deaf effect the subject of the human conditon causes in most people. You might find these links helpful: FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream’ and FAQ 3.4 ‘How can I help the WTM’.
Having said that, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point in terms of awareness of this great breakthrough, you can see from the excitement and relief in our ecstatic responses to THE Interview, we are well on our way! Also, on our homepage, you can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world!

After 10 years of reading every philosopher and studying Psychoanalysis, Philosophy and then Christian Philosophy, I was finally ready to hear the simple truth about the human condition, the simple truth that gave me my Self back, and reconciles us again with our Biological Instincts.
Dr Dusty
This human condition you keep speaking of you keep using the word we as if everyone in existence is the cause so if everyone reads your book the whole world will be better I think not this human condition by the way not to keen on your name you came up with people are not happy to be in situations they are the conditions that need to be fixed are by the ones who caused this condition that would be people in power do you realize just in the US How many people would be in their lives if they just were able to provide for their family living like little house on the prairie would be happy as all get out so it’s like people are killing themselves to live while people in power live high on the hog and treats us like pawns in chess so I’m sorry you and who ever think you solved some big mystery maybe I’m wrong do to my condition
WTM Admin
Yes THE Interview is putting forward that all humans variously suffer from the human condition — a psychosis caused by a clash between our instinct and intellect, and significantly since a psychosis can be healed with understanding, human behaviour is not unchangeable or immutable – a revelation that transforms the human race, see FAQ 1.3. Also our FAQ 1.40 addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’
Mark Anthony Kelley
I’ve seen this coming, and I’m so happy it’s actually here, I could see the positives in this covid lock down, was time to reflect and make adjustments to the human thinking patterns, it’s good to plant the seed and watch it grow, will take the next generation for it to blossom but good for our grandchildren bless ‘em
WTM Admin
It’s wonderful Jeremy Griffith’s work is resonating with you Mark! As Jeremy says at the beginning of THE Interview, “The turmoil and trauma of this pandemic has only amplified the now dire need in the world for a deeper, lasting solution to all the chaos and suffering in human life.” It has been a devastating and anxiety-filled time and the situation is extremely triggering of our underlying universal psychosis so clear thinking is what is needed. What is critically important about Jeremy’s work is that it gets to the bottom of this underlying psychosis which has blighted our ability to think for so long, and explains that it is caused by a clash between our instinct and intellect; and being a psychosis means that it isn’t immutable; it can be healed through understanding. And we don’t even have to wait for that deep healing to occur; having found the good, indeed heroic, reason that we had to defy our instincts means all our selfish, uncaring behaviours (our insecurity, anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant, and so all that behaviour can now, immediately, be put aside. Eventually, over a few generations as you say, it will completely disappear, thus bringing about the complete rehabilitation and transformation of the human race and thus of our planet. As psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen said this understanding of the human condition brings about “the psychological rehabilitation of the human race”!

Raewyn Simpson
This explanation of the human condition is basically correct however the changes that need to occur to heal us is not simple. We are all plagued with the vices of anger, ego, lust, attachment and greed and these are what need to be reformed. No easy task. We need to become soul conscious once again rather than the body conscious that we currently are.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Raewyn. We suggest the more you digest this presentation, the more you realise that the human condition is behind all our vices, including our anger, ego, lust, attachment and greed. These are all symptoms of our insecure human condition, so ultimately, to reform those behaviours we have to end that underlying insecurity, get to the core of the problem and fix that which is what Jeremy Griffith has done and presented here in THE Interview. In fact, Part 4 explains this redeeming, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting it is actually easy to access the transformation this brings about. What isn’t easy is to overcome people’s understandable fear and cynicism about confronting the human condition which The Great Guilt (the companion presentation to THE Interview) comprehensively deals with. You can watch it here on our website.

Eamon McEleney
An inspiring interview but also basic common(or uncommon) sense. Irrespective of the terrible war in Ukraine rational thought is incrementally becoming the norm.
WTM Admin
Yes Eamon, at one level it is true this is simply rational thought, but as THE Interview explains, there is a very good reason that confronting the human condition is uncommon. This is because the issue of the human condition has been the most terrifying of subjects to face as it is the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad as a species and until that could be solved we have necessarily had to live in almost total denial of it. We suggest you watch the companion presentation to THE Interview titled The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect (here on our website) as it provides astonishing clarification of why lifting The Great Burden Of Guilt from the human race causes most people to initially experience a ‘Deaf Effect’ to what’s being presented. Also our FAQ 1.33 ‘isn’t our situation getting better not worse?’ which explains that although we attempt to ‘civilize’ our anger and egocentricity, the truth is that levels of psychological upset are increasing, to the point that the world is facing terminal alienation.

“The Continuum Concept” - Unconditional love from womb to the time when The Infant takes the first step of “departure” from the mother. An astonishing book that illustrates what this man is bringing across. I read The Continuum Concept over 40 yrs ago… and cried…
In the beginning… From the moment of birth you are taken on a brief journey through the eyes and heart of the infant. It will change your life!
WTM Admin
We don’t know if you have looked at any of Jeremy Griffith’s books but he does use many wonderful quotes from Jean Liedloff’s The Continuum Concept such as in his definitive book FREEDOMpar. 977. In this interview and FREEDOM Jeremy explains the importance of nurturing in the maturation of humanity and in our own lives, but because humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge compromised our ability to nurture, it has been one of those extremely confronting truths that humans, without understanding of the corrupting journey to find knowledge, have had no choice but to largely live in denial of. To quote from Jeremy’s book The Great Exodus about the helpful but ultimate limitations of Liedloff’s work:
“Despite our historic need to deny the importance of nurturing, a number of books and articles have come out over the years that have attempted to broach the truth of the extent of the damage we cause our children by not nurturing them as much as their instincts expect. Understandably these attempts have very often been met by a ‘deaf’ public, by parents unable to cope with the condemnation and guilt that that truth causes. However now that we can and have to acknowledge the truth of the importance of nurturing, quotes from these books and articles can serve to resurrect that truth. One book that has met with some public acceptance is Jean Liedloff’s 1975 book The Continuum Concept. This partial acceptance is no doubt due to the fact that Liedloff largely avoids the morality issue associated with the ideal state of altruistic, integrative, cooperative love involved in nurturing, stating simply that we need to give infants the caring treatment ‘which is appropriate to the ancient continuum of our species inasmuch as it is suited to the tendencies and expectations with which we have evolved’ (p.35 of 168) in order for them to have ‘a natural state of self-assuredness, well-being and joy’ (www.continuum-concept.org).”
Kevin Tough
Very good news that science and the millions involved may come around. For those that need a confirmation of being on the right path, also good. What remains and has existed since man awoke is to simply drop one’s ego and live in peace. Namaste, Kevin
WTM Admin
What is so extraordinary about Jeremy Griffith’s biological treatise is that it logically and accountably defends human selfishness and egocentricity. It is only with that defence of our ‘dark side’, through finding the good reason that we had to defy our instincts, can we ‘simply drop one’s ego and live in peace’ because all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant. We no longer need them because we have the real defense for why we had to defy our instincts, see FAQ 6.5.

WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment Neghesti. There is a lot to absorb in this presentation but we suggest the more you do the more you will realise that it explains humans’ psychological upset is not a product of mental conditioning but the result of a universal psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. And, significantly, a psychosis is changeable as it can be healed through understanding so the solution is simple and all-powerful (see FAQ 1.4).

What I don’t understand with Adam and Eve is if choosing to eat the fruit created consciousness didn’t she already have consciousness if she was able to choose?
WTM Admin
Hi Art, we suggest that the metaphor of eating the fruit doesn’t represent the creation of consciousness as such, but rather it is symbolic of us defying our cooperative instinctive self in order to begin searching for knowledge, which was what consciousness required. As Jeremy Griffith explains in Part 2 of THE Interview, the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is a metaphor for the conscious mind going in search of knowledge in the presence of pre-established loving instincts, and how the conscious mind was in effect ‘condemned’ by those instincts, and as a result became ‘upset’ or angry, egocentric and alienated. As the Adam Stork story in THE Interview is finally able to make clear, we humans had to be prepared to suffer becoming psychologically upset while we searched for knowledge, ultimately for self-knowledge, understanding of the human condition.
In Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy explains how we became fully conscious which developed as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process. He refers the viewer to chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation — a summary of which is in FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’.

Mind blowing and my miracles are becoming true
Rachel Eastham
Is this not just stating the obvious ? Don’t mean to be rude but it’s not really a revelation is it ?
WTM Admin
Your feedback is most welcome Rachel and thank you for taking the time to comment. While thinkers throughout history have touched on elements of the human condition in their thinking, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work.

It all may have sounded promising at first bite, something new to get our teeth into, but alas another new crack- pot religion. Oh well all religions are just a dream . As they say ( A fool and his money are easily parted ) Nice try.
WTM Admin
Hi David, the World Transformation Movement is not a religion and there is no cost involved. To clarify: Jeremy Griffith presents first principle-based, rational, testable, biological understanding of the human condition which has attracted the support of eminent scientists and thinkers (see here on our homepage). There is no dogma, faith or belief involved. FAQ 6.1 explains why this information, and the movement which supports it, is the antithesis of a religion. Also the WTM is a global not-for-profit organisation. This is a scientific pursuit and we make all our publications, subscription and membership freely available on our website – see our FAQs about the WTM.

WTM Admin
Absolutely Bono. Jeremy Griffith’s breakthrough instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition establishes the equality of all humans and brings compassionate and thus safe understanding to ALL of human behaviour, be it our individual lives, or politics, religion, the relationship between men and women, or different races, etc. What you discover is this explanation unravels the seemingly impenetrable and insoluble confusion of human life — including why the horror of racism has existed under the duress of the human condition and, most importantly, finally brings it to an end! This desperately needed reconciling understanding of the reality of differences between races is explained in Freedom Essay 28. And for a testimonial on the power of this information to end racism, we recommend watching/reading the presentation from Franklin Mukakanga, of Zambia, in Video/Freedom Essay 8.

Very interesting.
I believe in the fighting against good and bad as Jon Kabatt mentions in his book “Eveil des sens” were even chemicals in our brain reprensenting these.
As for the example of the stork, well done.
I was planning to do a big research on doctors globally to get rid so called “the great guilt” now I find it here.
I will continue my research and videos and books.
Kind regards,

WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Patrick. In terms of our ‘good and evil’ stricken human condition being due to chemicals in our brain its worth mentioning psychiastrist Professor Prosen’s words here about how powerful our psychology is in causing our behaviour, “While we can expect instances of neurochemical/neurobiological based conditions, in my experience we can’t underestimate how much our psychology affects our biology” (see FAQ 1.34). It’s wonderful you have gone on to watch Jeremy Griffith’s Great Guilt talk (which follows THE Interview) and the insight it presents does ‘get rid’ of it because at last we can understand the immense guilt and shame we humans have had to carry for corrupting our original instinctive self or soul. People can watch or read The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effecthere on our website
Tjomme
I am gratefull. My inner knowing is right. Everything and most of the time I lived choosing the according to what is genetic memory of pristine times. I always have been and am striving to take care of others, being in nature. I now fully understand my calling.
WTM Admin
Yes Tjomme, we can now understand that our soul or instinctive self is perfectly aligned to a cooperative and selfless way of living but the critical question is why did we leave and corrupt that original loving state? Significantly this is the question THE Interview answers and we can now understand that the conscious mind was right, or ‘good’ to defy our instinctive self, or ‘inner knowing’, in order to fulfil its great potential to find knowledge, ultimately understanding of the human condition. Fundamentally, having found the good, indeed heroic, reason that we had to defy our instincts means all our selfish, uncaring behaviours (our insecurity, anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant and we can legitimately love ourselves and each other again. This is the essence of the transformation that this breakthrough makes available.

Paul Griffiths
The human condition might go someway to explain why we may be the way we are, but still think that greed, indifference to others and manipulation by others for self gain are the main causes of many issues we have today, if ethical and moral decisions and were made to do the right things rather than what is best for the bottom line to the detriment to others would make a huge difference. These decisions are made by greedy egocentric 1% of the population. Try telling them they are pointless and deluded when they have gained so much through dishonest manipulation.
WTM Admin
Hi Paul, we suggest the more you digest this presentation, the more you realise that the human condition is behind all our actions and motivations, including our greed, indifference and need for power. The point is that our greed and the power it affords is a symptom of our insecure, human condition afflicted state. It follows that if you address that underlying insecurity, then our greed (along with all our other artificial sources of reinforcement) will be removed. And that is what this understanding does – it addresses and solves that core insecurity about our self-worth. In fact, this redeeming, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fortune and glory. You might be interested in FAQ 1.40, which addresses ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’

This is very insightful, as some people still claim the animal kingdom to excuse their behaviours.
I believe, we are all wanting to get back to that Eden. We all want to return home again.
Joanne Fernie
This simple revelation & explanation is revolutionary & mind blowing.
I’ve been searching for this answer since I was 13!
Well worth a listen.
Marlie
Wonderful presentation, so helpful to understanding clients and helping them release to their true self. Cleansing and healing at its best 👌
Karen Addison
Looking forward to watching the Interview, I’ve heard it awesome.
Patsy Bolson
I want to believe now after learning that everything is a lie that we are more like God and made for peace and love.
WTM Admin
What you start to understand Patsy, is that while it is true that we have been corrupt and fake and a ‘lie’, it has actually been a heroic state. This understanding brings compassion to our psychologically upset state - the ‘lie’ has been a ‘Godly state’ in the sense that we can now see it was in line with Integrative Meaning (which as Jeremy mentions in THE Interview, you can read more about in Chapter 4 of FREEDOM).
Kim Fleming
Competition is fueled by greed , and cooperation is fueled by love! I have always believed this but it may be too simplified!
WTM Admin
Yes Kim, this explanation opens a whole new level of understanding. We can now understand the good reason why we have been ‘greedy’ and ‘competitive’, and how we have cooperative moral instincts. We can even understand how a lot of today’s ‘cooperation’ is actually subtle selfishness. Everything opens up now that we can understand our psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated human condition.

I love listening to him. This is the first. I have found that really makes sense to me. I know myself I would rather live where I feel love and piece. No matter where it happens to be. Thank you for this sight.

The inconsistency and incoherency of your arguments in light of your great confidence in believing that you and some scientists have solved “life’s greatest mystery” prove that you are in an illusion and thus you have many misconceptions about the things that you think you know to be true.

No new insight: the advice or law of old: love your neighbor as yourself is the basis of this discussion!
WTM Admin
As Part 4 of THE Interview explains, this is not about dogmatically imposing idealism like religion or a positive just-behave-and-feel-good mindset. This treatise confronts the source of our ‘good and evil’ stricken human condition. It explains our aggressive and selfish behaviour isn’t due to us having savage genes that we have to manage with “advice or law of old”, but rather that we suffer from a universal psychosis caused by the clash between our cooperative instincts and our intellect. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents here. And with our dark side truthfully explained and defended we can finally love ourselves and each other, and bring about a rehabilitated world, free of suffering. We also recommend reading FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work.

This is the 3rd time I’ve heard this truth and I want to know it backwards and upside down. It gives me the love I so want to put on earth. I love that fact we are the heroes. Now let’s reverse the abuse we’ve done to each other and to the world’s animals and resources and the weather. I love you Jeremy, thank you.

I AM SAVING SO I TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE I KNOW..,,
Chris
It’s very interesting stuff and makes a lot of sense. A few questions come to mind
How does Jeremy propose to deal with those individuals who are malignantly psychotic? Does he think that he could rehabilitate the likes of Gacy, Fred West, Pol-pot and other murderous nutters? These people have no interest in cooperation with others and no interest in behaving like bonobo apes. Also why are bonobo apes the model why not chimpanzees who exhibit violent brutal behaviour in addition to living in large social groups? If I’m being honest I think this is a good explanation but I think it will take a long time to change the general population’s mind set to this and it doesn’t have any greater chance of doing it than Christianity, Buddhism or objectivism all of which arguably could produce a paradise if everyone adhered to the principles with sufficient rigidity and will likely oppose this movement to preserve their own status and power.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your interest and questions, Chris. Regarding psychopaths, what you will find is that they are examples, albeit extreme, of the psychologically upset state of the human condition — see FAQ 1.38 ‘Aren’t some people just born psychopathic, or even ‘evil’? / How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour? / Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour?’
With regard to bonobos representing a better model of our ancestors than chimpanzees, while it is true that humans share approximately 98.7% of our DNA with both chimpanzees and bonobos, the evidence reveals that on the basis of physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, that the cooperative and gentle bonobo clearly represents a better model of our human ancestors than the chimpanzee (the evidence is presented in detail in chapter 5 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book, FREEDOM).
What sets this apart from religions, and is why this will eventually be taken up by all people, is that while religions have identified the human condition in their scripture, and sought to transcend it with their practices, they were coming from a pre-scientific perspective; in order to actually solve it, we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and FREEDOM. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work.
And, finally, you might also be interested in FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’

Hello dear, was a real gift from universe when I heard you today, specially the fact that you are a scientist 😉, I’m at the end of an emotional healing, many many heavy stuff in my life, so I had to understand why, I’ve got it, I think, at least answers and reasons of why that happen in my life, so I’m in a solitary moment to take back all the knowledge inside me. I’m sure that I’m going to learn magical information from your work. I’m so grateful to you, thank you a lot for the exchange, love unconditionally and be loved unconditionally 🙏

Very insightful. Food for thought. Thank you.
Wow:) Amazing knowledge, thank you for sharing
Thanks that is the scientific proof for what Eckehard Tolle teaches the last 25 years
Hi K, we suggest that as you keep absorbing THE Interview, and the material on our website, you will appreciate the huge distinction between Jeremy Griffith’s and Eckhart Tolle’s work.
Great learning, and mind opening
The interplay of human conscience as against savage, deceitfull, sadistic, coveteous and immoral behaviour with the help of troubled conscious mind is really intriguing.
WONDERFUL AND ENLIGHTEN, this interview help me overcome my ego and shares light into my inner being on how to understand myself and grow my marriage from a point-break to a greater point of growth and development. Thank you guys
To understand completely how to live in modern times
I have been searching for long. Looks like I am about get at some critical answers to make life more meaningful.
Quite revealing.. and indeed instructive. The Interview shares insights and perspectives that brings resolution to the critical questions of life, living and existence. I appreciate this.
Great!
I will also love to be part of this great journey, as a Journalist practicing in Africa. Thanks so much for sharing the link.
Very interesting and educative interview. Science is catching up with the mystics from the east!
It will be my great pleasure to know and understand more from this distinguished academician.
An exciting read begins, I watched the interview and I’ve just started the book, already captivating although not an easy read and no doubt I will need to re-read to absorb all this information but I’m determined to finish this book on learning about The Human Condition, fascinating.
Most interesting approach to the Human Condition. I look forward to reading the transcript of this interview. I was driving when listening to the program and am sure I missed some of the points made. Thank you for sharing this information.
Hi Merry, thank you for your interest. THE Interview is available to read as a transcript here or you can purchase copies from bookshops, including Amazon. There is much to consider and absorb so re-watching or reading THE Interview is exactly what we recommend people do in any case!
Interesting & I will follow up and learn more
Thanks for this mind opening explanation of why humans behave the way we do. But it seems 2 million years of fighting with ourselves will not just suddenly end. The very people who behave the worse in our world are the most resistant to any type of “new knowledge “.
1236).On this point, we recommend FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’Wonderful information
The most amazing talk. Let’s hope people all over the world understand this so that future generations can climb up to the summit of humanity and become truly human and be in peace with their existence and other beings in this beautiful earth. Thank you for sharing with us. I will pass it on because I think it puts us on the path to understand why we are here.
Thank you for this, I’ve downloaded your book
What this guy is saying is nothing new. It is known that the human condition is psychological rather than instinctual. Freud and Jung said that all humans are neurotic and their therapies are designed to make us less neurotic
We recommend reading FAQ 1.13 “Is this idea original or new? / How does biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition differ from other theories that recognise these elements?”, as it explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work. But regarding Jung and Freud, it is a useful exercise to compare Jeremy’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition to Freud’s and Jung’s work.In his definitive presentation of this understanding, FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition, and other works, Jeremy acknowledges Freud’s courageous recognition that humans carry negative, repressed elements of our personality, a ‘repressed unconscious’. Tis this longed for explanation of the source of our upset, and the key to rehabilitating all the subsequent manifestations of the human condition.Wow! The”veil “ has certainly been lifted. Thank you for your invaluable contribution to healing mankind and our earth. I look forward to reading and viewing more of your works. Absolutely inspirational and a pathway out of despair. Thank you to Craig Conway for eliciting your ideas so skilfully.
This topic seems very interesting. I would like to share with other people.
I will be reading/listening and learning more.
That’s something different to think about.
Yes, our instinctive self or soul could not allow the ego (intellect) the necessary freedom to search for knowledge, because instincts are unavoidably dictatorial; so in a sense our soul was an overly strict “parent” whose oppression, in effect condemnation, of the search the ego was undertaking did cause it to become psychologically upset.
P166. “at the very end of our journey to enlightenment….that which was ‘good’, our moral conscience, turns out to be the cause of our ‘sin’.” That’s it, right there! Well I’ll be buggered!
To clarify this further comment from Paul: P166 refers to page 166 of Jeremy Griffith’s book FREEDOM, chapter 3:7 Our instinctive moral conscience has been ‘A sharp accuser, but a helpless friend!’.
Everything said is already contained in the Bible. The Bible is in line with REAL science. Whoever reads it correctly also understands it correctly!
Am curious to learn
Hi Phiwe, it’s great to have your interest. This includes registering for our free, live, interactive events with Jeremy Griffith and others and joining our popular Facebook Group, where there is much profound and exciting discussion happening.
What’s the timeframe to establishing this awareness into the mainstream
Thanks for your question Anthony. As Jeremy Griffith points out in Part 2 of THE Interview the issue of the human condition has been such a denied and off-limits subject that confronting it represents the “biggest of all blasphemies”, and how “science progresses funeral by funeral” when it comes to supporting big paradigm shifts like this. So it is up to the resolve of individuals, including scientists, to help the WTM break through the road block of the legitimate fear and resulting deaf effect the subject of the human conditon causes in most people. You might find these links helpful: FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream’ and FAQ 3.4 ‘How can I help the WTM’.Having said that, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point in terms of awareness of this great breakthrough, you can see from the excitement and relief in our ecstatic responses to THE Interview, we are well on our way!
Really like the idea and I support it
i am interested
This explanation of the human condition is basically correct however the changes that need to occur to heal us is not simple. We are all plagued with the vices of anger, ego, lust, attachment and greed and these are what need to be reformed. No easy task. We need to become soul conscious once again rather than the body conscious that we currently are.
Thank you! Great info !😄
Thank you for this message of hope....that we can free ourselves from the environment of lunacy that is the state of our world today is uplifting. Looking forward to learning more...🙂
Tnx!
An inspiring interview but also basic common(or uncommon) sense. Irrespective of the terrible war in Ukraine rational thought is incrementally becoming the norm.
Lovely news,,,please keep me updated.

Thanks so much. This sounds like a revolutionary endeavour and I can’t wait to see many more people finding it.
I am a graduate in animal behaviour and it all makes sence to me!
“The Continuum Concept” - Unconditional love from womb to the time when The Infant takes the first step of “departure” from the mother. An astonishing book that illustrates what this man is bringing across. I read The Continuum Concept over 40 yrs ago… and cried… In the beginning… From the moment of birth you are taken on a brief journey through the eyes and heart of the infant. It will change your life!
We don’t know if you have looked at any of Jeremy Griffith’s books but he does use many wonderful quotes from Jean Liedloff’s The Continuum Concept such as in his definitive book FREEDOM par. To quote from Jeremy’s book The Great Exodus about the helpful but ultimate limitations of Liedloff’s work:“Despite our historic need to deny the importance of nurturing, a number of books and articles have come out over the years that have attempted to broach the truth of the extent of the damage we cause our children by not nurturing them as much as their instincts expect. This partial acceptance is no doubt due to the fact that Liedloff largely avoids the morality issue associated with the ideal state of altruistic, integrative, cooperative love involved in nurturing, stating simply that we need to give infants the caring treatment ‘which is appropriate to the ancient continuum of our species inasmuch as it is suited to the tendencies and expectations with which we have evolved’ (p.35 of 168) in order for them to have ‘a natural state of self-assuredness, well-being and joy’ (www.continuum-concept.org).”Very good news that science and the millions involved may come around. For those that need a confirmation of being on the right path, also good. What remains and has existed since man awoke is to simply drop one’s ego and live in peace. Namaste, Kevin
Had me going until saying we evolved from apes!
Mind blowing! ✅
Traducere in limba romană ,va rog! [Please translate into Romanian! (translated from Romanian)]
Conditioned mind ,alas man-molded mind. Thank for your contribution.
How did consciousness emerge in humans?’.Mind blowing and my miracles are becoming true
Is this not just stating the obvious ? Don’t mean to be rude but it’s not really a revelation is it ?
Just awesome mind blowing
It all may have sounded promising at first bite, something new to get our teeth into, but alas another new crack- pot religion. Oh well all religions are just a dream . As they say ( A fool and his money are easily parted ) Nice try.
I like it lots.
True ,This will help to defeat racism . We are all the same. Bono Rakhalaru (South Africa)
Kind regards, Patrick
People can watch or read The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect here on our website
I am gratefull. My inner knowing is right. Everything and most of the time I lived choosing the according to what is genetic memory of pristine times. I always have been and am striving to take care of others, being in nature. I now fully understand my calling.
Sounds like what we’ve all been waiting for 👍
We like to read more about this how can I get the book

Mind blowing.. thanks to all especially Jeremy Griffith
Well, I’m buying this book! ✌🏽

This is very insightful, as some people still claim the animal kingdom to excuse their behaviours. I believe, we are all wanting to get back to that Eden. We all want to return home again.
This simple revelation & explanation is revolutionary & mind blowing. I’ve been searching for this answer since I was 13! Well worth a listen.
Wonderful presentation, so helpful to understanding clients and helping them release to their true self. Cleansing and healing at its best 👌
Looking forward to watching the Interview, I’ve heard it awesome.
I want to believe now after learning that everything is a lie that we are more like God and made for peace and love.
Competition is fueled by greed , and cooperation is fueled by love! I have always believed this but it may be too simplified!
Thank you for this sight.
damn, i wish i had discovered this platform as early AS POSSIBLE
Looking forward to watch…. Thank you
Very thought provoking
Amazing interview
I Linke and think it is very interesthing... I’m greatfull to see this video... Kind reegrats 🙏🤠🤝
The inconsistency and incoherency of your arguments in light of your great confidence in believing that you and some scientists have solved “life’s greatest mystery” prove that you are in an illusion and thus you have many misconceptions about the things that you think you know to be true.
absolutely eye opening
Interesting insight
I want to know
Very interesting and revealing thoughts. This makes perfectly sense in my mind. Thank you!
I would like the book. Is it called The Interview?
Hi Alannah, electronic copies of Jeremy Griffith’s books are immediately available for free here on our homepage. This includes his definitive book FREEDOM and the transcript of this presentation, THE Interview. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon, where you can also purchase hardcopies if you’d prefer.
Absolutely amazing.
I don’t know but I don’t think I need to hear anything more than 15min. That was a force to be reckoned with.
Best interview I heard in my whole life!! makes sense!! I’m ordering the book through Amazon right now. Thank you Jeremy Griffith! I love some of this comments, like Chris’s lets me know I have much to learn, but I love it.
instinct v con, I get it
No new insight: the advice or law of old: love your neighbor as yourself is the basis of this discussion!
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Love that book 📖 😍
Very informative, a must to listen to!
Thank you for this easy, yet profound understanding of the human conscious thinking. I need to learn more & more 🙏🤗
This is the 3rd time I’ve heard this truth and I want to know it backwards and upside down. It gives me the love I so want to put on earth. I love that fact we are the heroes. Now let’s reverse the abuse we’ve done to each other and to the world’s animals and resources and the weather. I love you Jeremy, thank you.
I AM SAVING SO I TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE I KNOW..,,
It’s very interesting stuff and makes a lot of sense. A few questions come to mind How does Jeremy propose to deal with those individuals who are malignantly psychotic?
Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour?’With regard to bonobos representing a better model of our ancestors than chimpanzees, while it is true that humans share approximately 98.7% of our DNA with both chimpanzees and bonobos, the evidence reveals that on the basis of physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, that the cooperative and gentle bonobo clearly represents a better model of our human ancestors than the chimpanzee (the evidence is presented in detail in chapter 5 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book, FREEDOM).What sets this apart from religions, and is why this will eventually be taken up by all people, is that while religions have identified the human condition in their scripture, and sought to transcend it with their practices, they were coming from a pre-scientific perspective; in order to actually solve it, we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’Revealing, enthralling, and redeeming. Makes me proud of being human.
