Desmond Bishop

Excellent learning. How do we recover?

WTM Admin

Thank you for your appreciative comment, Desmond. It can take some deeper digestion to see the full significance of at last being able to make sense of the great paradox of the human life, namely how we humans are good when we appear to be the complete opposite. But what it means is that now that our goodness has been biologically established we no longer have to continue to try and prove ourselves, which was the source of all our selfish, egocentric behaviour, and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living — and this is the rapidly transforming and healing effect of being able to understand the human condition. This is all presented on our Transformation page which has a feast of powerful videos and instructive information. Also our FAQs about the Transformed State are an excellent resource.

Yasmin

I would like to know more about the human condition

WTM Admin

Thank you for your interest in our work, Yasmin. Our helpful Introductory Guide shows the steps to further introduce yourself to this understanding of the human condition, including after THE Interview looking at our key Introductory Videos/Freedom Essays 1-4 and 14 on our homepage. Also our FAQs about the human condition and its resolution are an excellent resource.

Raghel Lakhi

The biggest problem is Greed and the wealthy people not having compassion for others. Love, compassion is completely removed from the world

WTM Admin

In THE Interview Jeremy explains that our selfishness was an unavoidable consequence of humans’ necessary search for self-knowledge. We had to lose ourselves to find ourselves; we had to suffer becoming angry, alienated and egocentric until we found sufficient knowledge to explain ourselves. We have had to smother ourselves with material glory while we lacked the spiritual glory of compassionate understanding of ourselves. And with that understanding now found, we can know we are good, we can reconcile with our cooperative and loving instincts, our divisive behaviour can come to an end.

Sophia

Profound and inspiring message to metamorphose humanity to a greater and higher level of great exploits.

Bea

Most interesting, I need to take this in in small bites to allow my brain to digest this information.

Annie

Finally being able to explain the human condition is astonishingly powerful but it presents a massive paradigm shift in our thinking so it’s natural to need to take time to digest all it reveals, Bea. As Jeremy Griffith explains, the human condition has historically been such a fearful, off-limits topic and the mind simply needs time to ride out the initial shock of having it broached and all manner of mystery unlocked. We suggest re-watching THE Interview because the more you do absorb it, the more you realise just how all-clarifying, all-redeeming, all-reconciling, all-healing, all-liberating it is!

J

Love the spiritual and scientific aspect of this read

Erselle Stabler

Love it. How do we accept this mild transition daily. Thank you. Erselle Stabler Seattle wa. Usa

WTM Admin

Thank you, Erselle. Please see our response to Desmond Bishop’s similar comment above.

Absolutely fascinating information. I want to understand in greater depth but I am feeling hopeful for our future

Humans are good. We mutilated ourselves. Let’s study Jeremy’s ideas fully with understanding, generosity and humbleness, regain our sense of the Human condition that can give meaning to our life on earth. Let’s believe we can regain our Human Condition and work at it lovingly

Edeltraud Baker

I am grateful for this interview. The more we learn the more we know that we don’t know.

Tracey

Thank goodness. I feel relieved and hopeful for mankind for what Mr Griffith has to say. And it’s all science, which is logical and inherently truthful. Amen

Bal Sammy (london)

A must for all those who want to have a factual insight into the human condition.

Marcus

Amazing. On the one hand there is a huge spiritual shift to reconciling the ego but that movement may not have everyone’s attention. This added scientific angle should help and that gives me more hope than ever of the world truly healing.

Enso

Interesting and worth the time.

Mai Eaton

The basis of all what’s been discussed in this interview has given me the clarity in understanding the human condition in fine detail. The insight which has explained the the human race has been conditioned into believing. And how we now know to unlock the conditioned mind. Love is the healer of all suffering and pain. Love is unconditional free and empowering. Love is all and yes it is the substance of healing all kinds of pain. This is so powerful. This is so beautiful.

Fikre Germa

Imaginative and interesting.

Dr. Anita Chioke

I am looking forward to the day that racism will be perpetually eliminated. And also to stop stronger nations from attacking smaller nations. I am truly looking forward to this remarkable breakthrough.

TonyM

Thank you very much for your comment, Dr Chioke. Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s breakthrough instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition allows us to understand why the horror of racism has existed under the duress of the human condition and, most importantly, finally brings it to an end. This desperately needed reconciling understanding of the relationship between races is explained in Freedom Essay 28. And for a testimonial on the power of this information to end racism, we recommend watching/reading the presentation from Franklin Mukakanga, of Zambia, in Video/Freedom Essay 8.

John Kevin Bannon

Always known that love is the answer. There is hope and happiness out there for everyone, we just need love and understanding to embrace it and find our true path, our best path, our only path. Thank you.❤️

brian carrington

Just been listening to Jeremy’s Freedom Essay 14. The more I listen the more I realise how little I know, my education was basic to say the least, but I do know the truth when I hear it, I need to read the book, rant over, thank you to everyone and hopefully I will get there,😀

Ram Kunjayah

Excellent

Denise Richards

So refreshing and enlightening, gave me hope for us humans.

Anya

Thx

Carl Strutisnki

I appreciate your ideas, Prof. Griffith. However, I feel that your solution needs to be further developed. I may note that animals are also intelligent and have self awareness, though on a low level. However, they do not show, as I inferred from your presentation, the intellect-instinct opposition. And then, humans need a very long time to bring up their brood - so the expectation to transmit the “altruistic gene” should be far greater than for bonobos, for example.

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith explains that while other animals have various levels of ‘awareness’, none can consciously manage events like humans can, which means they are not yet in a position to challenge their instincts for control of their lives (see FAQ 5.4 on ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’). Read more about the love-indoctrination process and how altruism became instinctive in our forebears (a process the bonobos are still completing) in chapter 5 of FREEDOM.

Diana

This explanation is so elegant. Also to me this fits with the historical evidence found by archeologist Marija Gimbutas on the so called ‘Vinca’ culture or the ‘Old European’ culture in a few regions in the Balkans and Ukraine. A culture with no weapons found within extensive civilisation dating back to more then 5000 years b.c. (older then Sumerian culture). Very interesting but also almost ignored by mainstream. Not for one moment I believe we are an aggressive animal by nature. I think we should maybe look more to Buddhism and old Indian religions for wisdom on the science of consciousness.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your comment, Diana. We did want to clarify that while Buddhism and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Solving the human condition required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough that Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. Also you might find helpful our FAQ 5.4 on consciousness, and FAQ 1.14 on why these ideas aren’t mainstream yet.

Michael Quinn

Stephan De Leenheer

Thank you Mr Griffith for this beautiful insight. I had emotional human suffering the whole of my live until now. Your explanation is clear with the story of Adam and Eve and the reference to Plato, and also with the drawings.

Paul Larke

How on earth do you measure upset?

WTM Admin

The graph that appears towards the end of Part 2 of THE Interview charts the progression of upset from no psychosis to ‘terminal levels of psychosis’ and obviously all grades in between.

Tom Greenfield

I think there is an element of truth (not totally) and there is a lot to learn, It was worth my time and probably yours!!!

Ragnvald. Ljungh

Han tog upp alt som är av vikt det vi alla borde ta åt oss av. Alt hänger ju på hur vi lever. Familjen först det andra sedan den så viktiga vaxinationen. [He brought up everything that is important that we should all deal with. It all depends on how we live. The family first the second then the so important vaccination. (Translated from Swedish.)]

WTM Admin

Thank you for your thoughtful comment, Ragnvald. Yes, as Jeremy Griffith says in THE Interview, “a vaccine for this terrible virus would be good, but infinitely more precious and needed is a vaccine for the human condition, a cure for it, and that’s what’s just been presented”. Solve the human condition and the power of cooperative selflessness that liberates will clean up all the overwhelming problems that are burdening our world, and very quickly, because we will be able to effectively deal with challenges like pandemics as a collective by prioritising the needs of the greater whole.

Eva T

Really good

GEORGE ADU

thank you so much

sam

very good

John

But what about the origin of Sin. How do you explain the entrance of evil into our world? If there is no Sin, then we do not need a Saviour. The present human condition is because of rebellion against his Creator. The answer to all this can be found in the Bible. Please read 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. Thank you.

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts, with ‘sin’ the religious term historically used to describe the darker, destructive aspects of our non-ideal human state or condition. In terms of Christianity and Christ, Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from that pre-science view, and he has written about Christ’s life and its phenomenal importance in humanity’s journey in Freedom Essay 39. Our FAQs about religion are also helpful.

Brilliant. Nurture nature something our Greatgran taught her Grandaughters who in turn taught plus 17kids between them. Wise words I remembered throughout my life now. I share them with my Grankids from 6 Generations back.

Hmmm.. Eckhart Tolle.

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith’s work is the complete opposite to what Eckhart Tolle presents. Jeremy is currently writing two new Freedom Essays about the genuinely effective therapy and healing that understanding of the human condition now makes possible. These are Essays 63: ‘Pseudo Therapy/Healing’ and 64: ‘Real Therapy/Healing’. Essay 63 will explain there are many approaches that seek to heal and therapise human psychoses but they are all coming from an extremely dishonest and superficial, human-condition-avoiding, pseudo therapising angle, and this does include the work of Eckhart Tolle and many others. (See Freedom Essay 33 for a discussion of Tolle’s work; and also Part 4 of THE Interview and FAQ 6.5 which explain the difference between the WTM and pseudo-idealistic movements). In Essay 64 Jeremy will present the human-condition-confronting, honest, true, genuinely effective therapy/healing that understanding of the human condition now makes possible. As distinguished psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen describes THE Interview as being “the most important interview of all time” because it “is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race…that saves the world”.

M. Ann Waddicor

Oh wow, all my life I have wondered, and at school the teachers did not inspire, me, only the few. I have sensed this world that Jeremy Griffith’s describes, feeling in many situations, not able to express myself in speech, shy, that my idea of this world was over simple and that I was not so hyper intelligent as other people, writing especially about all nature, in letters to my parents all my life, until they died.

Then suddenly I began to put the letters into poetic form, forcing my own mind to precis the words to express the essence of my thoughts in a more succinct manner. This brought out my ideas in a clearer way to myself. It was so exciting that I wrote poems by day and in the middle of the night, feverishly scribbling them down on paper. Totally excited.

Then this interview that was so exciting that it tore my hat off and let my brain fly into the sky of my mind, with a joyful recognition of parallel thoughts that had lain latent in my brain, just as there was an archive of words and thoughts lying waiting in my mind to explode into the world and expound my own theories of existence, never having felt satisfied with the norms of the day.

The spice of life came, as if a storm had blown away all the cobwebs of traditional religious cloaked dogmas and doctrines that just didn’t satisfy me in my lifestyle. Oh how thankful that I have lived through treatments and heaven knows what, with cancer etc, and am still alive to hear such ideas of life at eighty years young, I feel like a student in my twenties, fired with enthusiasm for more thoughts around this subject, the most exciting moment in my life, thank you. M. Ann Waddicor.

Kazz

Enlightenment! In a unique reframe of existing theories. This is a work of art and an analogy to wake people up to higher consciousness past fear back to love! From the perspective of biology! Though we cant rewind time and see what first occurred for humans. Seems similar to Adam and Eve story but explained differently! Great educator, bit sensationalized. See good intentions.

Max

♥️♥️♥️👍

Bal Sammy (london)

This is a Frank Factual and First hand autopsy of the natural or inborn stimulus which create the behaviour of human beings. This lecture has answered my question about human behaviour. We have to learn to know and to accept our behaviour comes within us.

Michael Boznianin

This is so honest and conclusive. I find myself having to work through traumatized inhibiting factors that have been accumulated, just to proceed with this concept. Very deep yet very obvious.

Awesome finally humanitarian awareness - the awareness of evolution not devolution!

Life transforming interview! This information on the human condition is no doubt going to change the world! Fantastic interview.

Rosemary Shakespeare

An amazing interview. I particularly appreciate that the interviewer, Craig, sums up what has been said very succinctly. Also he is clearly putting the interviewee first and doesn’t try to give any of his own opinions, as so many interviewers do.

Jane Turnbull O'Connor

A very interesting and informative interview, will have to listen again to understand some of what is said, but truly inspiring.

We are living critical times....The future is uncertain....We have to change our behavior, but this is a titanic labor, this knowledge is an excellent tool to start.

WTM Admin

Explanation of the human condition presents a massive paradigm shift in our thinking but the more you absorb it the more you realise that this understanding is actually the key to saving the world. Our FAQs 1.4 - 1.6 and chapter 9:9 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM explain just how quickly this knowledge can transform the world.

Verónica Leija Vázquez

Amazing, it gives hope for the human race, our planet and everything in it

Julie Kellogg

Very interesting, will listen.

Nehbi

This is fascinating knowledge. Thank you!

Eric Teokotai

I have been anguishing over why there is so much greed, war, poverty in a world of plenty. Why do humans and particularly its so-called leaders venture on a path to destruction under the delusion that it is for the best. This information has been like an epiphany. I’m so so grateful.

Marc Gerstner

I agree with you, all the work you put in makes sense, great work

Dr Dev Anand

Very good

Lenora Webb

From my earliest years of wondering I have always felt that man started good and kind and loving. But thinking about things, that happen day to day, too much filled us with insecurities that created the negative side of us.

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith explains that the source of all our insecurities is the battle between instinct and intellect; this is what created our negative or dark side. See more in Video/Freedom Essay 3.

Mark Fennell

It sounds as though our pre fall from grace ancestors were so endeared of the earth that they could hardly be brought to kill and eat anything.

Katrina Hill

Thankyou for your guidance and teachings

Sheri klecan

So relieving to hear there is a solution to our suffering!

Jerry capps

This is a superb work

Miriam

Yes of course- our birthright. We are damaged tho by our culture..and what ‘trauma’ is handed down to us via parents and events...and the people around who are damaged even more. Knowing is one thing...how do you propose to change eg those in our societies who make rules, neglect to make others, etc etc for personal gain. ..HOW DO YOU PROPOSE TO GET THOSE WITH INFLUENCE TO ACT IN THE WAY YOU DESCRIBE..?

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith’s work addresses the source of our universal psychosis which is creating our culture and compounding trauma that each new generation is born into. It explains and addresses the cause and significantly a psychosis can be healed with understanding so we can move on to a whole new human-condition-reconciled, transformed world.     While this is the universal solution to all the problems we face we do have to break through to the bastions of power in the world. As with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it will take time for people to realise that this is what it says it is, but as support and momentum continues to build, the selfless love and energy it generates will solve our problems very quickly. Instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in the world, see our FAQs 1.4 – 1.6 about how this transformation works. Also, our homepage presents the significant support Jeremy Griffith’s treatise already has from thought leaders around the world.

Wonderful Thank-you.!!..

Harry Drent (the Netherlands)

So thank you! [I have been working on unwinding, enlightenment and awakening for quite some time. By now I am no longer looking for realization that it is about remembering who we are in essence. And that man must live again in symbiosis with the ecological values of the earth. And this view explained my intuition. So thank you!]

Maria Carrera

Simply brilliant. As said in scientific world, the truth is commonly in the most simple explanation. But this is not always so evident to our eyes. Sincerely thanks, I have no words to describe what it means to me having the privilege of receiving these “precious stones” of knowledge.

Martin

Really enjoyed the interview and couldn’t disagree with any of it. Interestingly such thinking is breaking into contemporary progressive Christian circles among people who are questioning the 16th century theology we have inherited and that up to now has remained largely unquestioned in the mainstream. It’s good to know that not all believers are dogmatists and that many are open to the idea that theology can and should evolve and keep pace with evolving human consciousness and scientific discovery. Your presentation explains so much about the human condition and human behavior. However does it not still leave the huge existential ‘why’ question? Why are we here? It also doesn’t for me address the subject of death which is surely a major part of the human condition. Maybe we should be satisfied with the few short years we get but the angst, fear, pain and basic disappointment that death brings would suggest that for most people, having tasted life they don’t want it to end. That being the case, maybe an element of faith is still required until such times as science can prove the continuation of consciousness beyond bodily death. It is encouraging to see that consciousness and it’s evolution seems to be growing area of academic study. I suspect the findings will combine with your important insights to bring us closer to the wholeness we all desire.

WTM Admin

You can read about the Integrative Meaning of existence (‘the meaning of life’) in our FAQ 6.2. With regard to our fear of death, the more you absorb this information the more you realise that it is driven by our insecurity about our self-worth (which arises from the human condition). You might also be interested to read Jeremy’s explanation and demystification of our need to believe in a physical ‘afterlife’ in par. 840 of FREEDOM, and in more detail in this section of his best-selling 2003 book A Species In Denial.
