I welcome truth and have great respect for your words.

All very well knowing this, but how will the powers in charge of the state of the world be encouraged to change?

WTM Admin

As with any new scientific breakthrough in history it will take time to gain mainstream acceptance, and from there break through the bastions of power in the world. However, with support from those who appreciate this understanding, the truth is that this redeeming, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fame, fortune and glory. You might be interested in FAQ 1.40, which addresses the questions of ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

Kgoroshi Mashifane

I would like to know how to successfully deal with anxiety and depression.

WTM Admin

Hi Kgoroshi, we thought you would find psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s response to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis? helpful, see FAQ 1.34 and also FAQ 1.35 ‘Does this heal anxiety?’. What is so significant and relieving about having the human condition resolved is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. So we can bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us which is important for everyone to be mindful of (as FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’ summarises).

Elsadig Eldaow

This is completely interesting and if it is true it is expected to make a change of human race prospects

Thank you to you both! Now I have a better understanding why people behave the way they do towards others actions and react to others spoken words.

Rory Short

I did a Biomimicry w/shop in 2012 and have been fascinated with trying to understand human problems from an evolutionary perspective ever since. This interview casts further helpful light on the human problem.

WTM Admin

Thanks for your comment Rory. We suggest the more you absorb what is presented in THE Interview the more you will realise that only being able to solve the question of our ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition will we be able to understand our problems from an evolutionary perspective. The age-old question has always been why, when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless, are we so angry, competitive and selfish? Answering this required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents. We can now finally understand why we have had to become so estranged and alienated from nature which biomimicry looks to for inspiration and direction in problem solving. You may find FAQ 1.6 ‘Why understanding the human condition solves everything’ helpful.

How do we Truely change by training the brain 🧠. Is Neurofeedback able to train the brain and changer behavior patterns. Thanks for inspiring and challenging video.

WTM Admin

Technology as neurofeedback can certainly help re-train the brain to new behaviour but we have never before seen the power this knowledge brings to our mind—it provides the ultimate brain food! Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but, to quote WTM Freedom Essay 5 about the transformation and freedom this understanding brings us: “Really, the transformation of the world is already a fait accompli, a certainty—sure, it will take a little time to get started, but what will win the day is logic. Humans are thinking, rational beings so when all the logic points in one direction then there is really no choice but for every single human to take that path, and eventually they will. It will be slow for a start because humans hate and resist change, but nonetheless change does happen when an idea’s time has come...And with all the crises and suffering and mental agony in the world now, this idea’s time has most certainly come! So, as more and more people catch on to this logical, rational, fully accountable explanation of the human condition, the transformation will begin to sweep the world. When the word gets out about this awesome breakthrough there’s going to be an absolute stampede—it’s going to be on for young and old!”. And this is happening! Just read the ecstatic responses THE Interview is receiving on our homepage and scroll down to see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for the WTM with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world! Also, more people each day are joining our Facebook Group and registering for our live events with Jeremy and others to share in this all-clarifying, all-redeeming, all-reconciling, all-healing and all-liberating knowledge!

A very enlightening interview, certainly food for thought and a clear and positive presentation.

Nur Kazi

Trying to understand the topics in depth.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your comment Nur. Finally being able to explain the human condition, understand the source of the 2 million years of psychological upset in the human race, does present a massive paradigm shift in our thinking which takes time to absorb. After watching THE Interview we suggest people watch Introductory Videos/Freedom Essays 1 to 14 which elaborate on what is presented in THE Interview (freely available on our homepage). Of course Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM is the ultimate and most comprehensive presentation of his work which is also freely available here on our website.

Wow, therapy of understanding. Gene based. Nerve based. Genious. Banished and acceptance. Stories do get it wrong. The hardest and toughest of tasks. Consciousness. We are the heros bribed by toil or shined by purity. Free will. Open air. Cause and effect. Redeeming explanations.......Ty

Andrea Sofo

After watching the series of videos and getting a fair way through the book Freedom, I’ve experienced some “ping” moments. While my understanding of the information is in its infancy, I firmly believe this is going to be life changing in all the best ways possible. I have seen a miraculous change in my husband and daughter who are individuals who never fully resigned to the human condition and have a greater understanding than I. I feel that I fill need to read and reread the book, as the deaf affect has been difficult for me to overcome, but I don’t look upon this as a chore but a necessity. I am truly excited for the future, not just for myself but for the world over. For the first time when asked recently how I was, I replied with earnest “I have never been happier”.

An exciting and amazing solution to our human condition. Thank you. Patricia from USA New Jersey

Kat Adamson

It is a beautiful explanation indeed. And very simple, very elegant, very soothing. My Polish translation is being formatted, hopefully will be available soon and will reach everyone who is waiting for it.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your wonderful help with the Polish translation, Kat, we are very appreciative! It’s so important and exciting that Jeremy Griffith’s books and essays are being translated into many languages around the world, thanks to wonderful efforts, like yours, from the WTM’s ever-expanding global network of support — see our Translations page. We also have over 50 WTM Centres around the world, and some of their websites are presented in the native language/s of their founder — you can also read about these Centres in WTM FAQ 3.9.

My friend bought me the book as a gift, so I’m just watching some interviews to prepare for the big read! Amazing work! 👏

Stéphane Rossi

Brilliant.

John Angus HUTCHINSON

Your understanding of human evolution is flawed It’s the hominids including us that evolved non hierarchical peaceful and cooperative social structures. We have a common ancestors 5 to 7 million years ago with the chimpanzee and bonobos who evolved slightly differently north South of the Congo. BOTH are hierarchical. bonobos use sex to pacify. gatherer hunting Homo sapiens evolved a fiercely egalitarian and freedom loving culture. THE advent of agriculture and domestication saw an unfortunate return to hierarchies and a central ruling elite like most mammals especially other primates. You are WRONG!!!

WTM Admin

Thank you for your comment, John. Yes, the hominin line split from the chimpanzee line some 7 million years ago. As is explained further in chapter 5 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, the bonobos subsequently split from the chimpanzee line some 2 million years ago, and found themselves in conditions similar to our ancestors 7 million years ago. These ‘ideal’ conditions allowed the nurturing based love-indoctrination process to become established in what were to become bonobos, resulting in their extraordinarily cooperative and gentle behaviour. Importantly, bonobos have not completed this process, as evidenced by the use of sexual appeasement behaviour to quell residual tension. With regard to the question of whether our distant ancestors were matriachal, a reduction in canine size in our ancestors is now leading anthropologists to recognise that in all likelihood they were. For example, in analysing the famous ‘Ardi’ fossils, the authors wrote that “In modern monkeys and apes, the upper canine is important in male agonistic [aggressive] behavior, so its subdued shape in early hominids and Ar. ramidus suggests that sexual selection played a primary role in canine reduction.” ‘Sexual selection’ means that females were actively choosing less aggressive mates, indicating that they had the power to do so.     While the advent of agriculture and domestication served to accelerate the psychological upset that characterises the human condition, it did not cause humanity’s problems, as thinkers such as Marx have suggested. It is our psychologically upset state that creates those conditions not vice versa. We suggest looking at FAQ 7.3 which deals with socialism and communism and Marxist thought in greater detail.

What a Spectacular awakening for humankind

Joy A Porcella

Again I listen and cry tears of joy and must openly say I wasn’t crazy, I just needed love peace and understanding.

Vernesa Celic

It is a very interesting subject, I love it

Joy A Porcella

Your presentation explains why I hunger for your p.o.v. [point of view] and I am a modern Bonobo that wants to love and heal myself and others. I play your interview over until I can tell it to others verbatim. Love wins! ❤️

Harriett Elizabeth Hoppe

Very interesting, eager for more.

Paul D Adamson

This view seems to rely on the premise that non-human creatures are not conscious. How precisely are you defining consciousness?

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview that consciousness means being sufficiently aware of how experiences are related to attempt to manage change from a basis of understanding cause and effect. Clearly, while other animals have various levels of ‘awareness’ none can consciously manage events like humans can, and so it is accurate to describe humans as the only animals possessing ‘fully conscious minds’. We recommend reading FAQ 5.4 ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’

Karen Campbell

This concept is very interesting, I want to learn more for myself and also teach this concept to children.

Mandla Nxiumalo

Excellent

Just me

Sorry I don’t agree, with this gentleman, there is good and bad in everyone, and we make a decision what we think, do, and say. If this gentleman as many before him with similar views is correct I’m sure within a few years there will be a massive change in in this world for the better. Unfortunately as with many others which have gone before with this silly idea! We are not improving, we are definitely deteriorating, there is no evidence that man is improving with health, mentally and physically, and darkness is increasing, so this in my opinion is false science.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your comment. I think with greater scrutiny you will find that Jeremy Griffith agrees that mankind is becoming more and more psychologically upset not ‘improving’ – see WTM FAQ 1.33. However, what is being suggested here is that the underlying cause of our psychologically upset state is now so completely explained and understood that as Professor Harry Prosen, the former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, has said, the whole of the human race is psychologically rehabilitated and everyone’s life is transformed.

Martina Manasieva

I’ve been searching for exactly the same explanations from truth determinated scientifically orientated author like Jeremy Griffith. I am so happy that he is a biologist and it is the ultimate way to reveal the truth about human beings and heal the whole human race from unneeded aggression, depression and all other frustrating problems due to lack of understanding and finally we have got it from a biological point of view and scientific prooves. His fascinating life work for me is indeed his “summa masterpiece” that he named with the absolutely deserved book title :“FREEDOM: THE END OF HUMAN CONDITION” and in my own opinion that this is surely the book of realistic and ultimate rehabilitation of all of us the human beings! I am being inspired and very thankful to be a part of WTM! All my compliments, respect and best wishes for Jeremy Griffith’s life work, love of truth, love of good and love of life dedication he did for all of us!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Gester

It is worth listening to.

Elizabeth Di Blasio

I will certainly take the time to listen to these 2 wonderful persons! I will also read his book “Freedom: The End of Human Condition.” The knowledge and wisdom that will be gained will have a tremendous effect on all human beings! Thank you so much dear Professor for sharing your wisdom with us. Affectionately yours, Elizabeth Di Blasio

WTM Admin

Thank you Elizabeth, please pursue that interest, you won’t be disappointed! Our homepage — HumanCondition.com — provides a wonderful road map to progress with all our key material made freely available and you can register for free, live, interactive presentations with Jeremy about this immensely relieving understanding. Thierry HARDY

Hoping for a global change of human towards nature.

Naomi Perkin

The answer to our human condition is Jesus Christ..our Redeemer and Saviour.

WTM Admin

As is explained in Part 2 of THE Interview it is science that is the liberator or saviour of mankind. Craig Conway summarises that, “science’s discovery of the way genes and nerves work has finally made it possible for the liberation of humanity from the horror of the human condition”, to which Jeremy Griffith replies, “Yes, that is the essential truth: science is the liberator, the so-called ‘messiah’ or ‘redeemer’ of humankind, as we always hoped it would be!”     We certainly respect people’s religious views and feel it is important to mention that Jeremy’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view, see our FAQs about religion, especially FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.

Kate-Lyn Pigeon

Thank you. You have helped my artistic vision and I hope we are all able to day dream, like I do now, again :), which is to envision and create what we want/imagine. The need is our reason... not an excuse. Science to me is arts + crafts. We finally collectively understand that science is art again! I have lost touch with the art in crafts... (writer’s blocke) A lot of our theories are now resolved in solution and I can now write again!

Timothy

Thank you for these insights. :) Please add me to your email list.

Steven Rockett

I am looking forward to a greater understanding of the human condition.

Geraldine O Connor

Fantastic. Must take it on board and also share with others.

Adam Hogue

I haven’t heard the whole interview yet. But, from what I’ve heard so far about the human condition sounds like it’s finally being said right.

Ilian Milagros lopez

I am amazed 😃 Wow! You can figure it out, All You have to do is Read it again, I agree 💯 let’s go back to loven each other

Helen Lansdell

I just listened to the interview and I found what was said to be truthful and when you stand back and truly look at all the bs and lies that are told to children as some sick way adults attempted to justify the “ugly and inhumane ways they treat each other”. You can see it.

WTM Admin

The more you absorb this explanation, Helen, the more you appreciate that in the absence of the fully accountable, true understanding of the human condition—the explanation for why we behave in such an “ugly and inhumane” way instead of cooperatively and lovingly—we humans needed to come up with some “bs “, some “lie” or excuse (like humans having ‘savage animal instincts’) in order to cope with the negative implications of our behaviour, see FAQ 1.2. So what has been needed is the real biological explanation of the human condition, because it’s only that redeeming understanding that allows us to at last be truthful about our ugly and inhumane behaviour – and it’s precisely that real explanation that THE Interview presents. Finally we can start talking the TRUTH and let it out, which will be so relieving to our children who will no longer be bewildered by the lies, and the silence, of the adult world.

Suzanne Fitzgerald

Hello from Ireland. I’ve finally found a truth I believe and understand, I feel somewhat relieved and more hopeful than I have in a long time. To speak of compassion and co-operation so openly is like a breath of fresh air to me. I will listen to THE Interview again tomorrow and probably the day after and maybe even everyday, it’s the best time I’ve spent in a long time, it was like super food for my brain. Thank you so much for sharing this.

brendan smith

It takes a while to get to the bottom line, but in the end the blame is placed with ‘the left’ and ‘the pc movement’. This ideology is a rehash of the so called culture war against wokery. Predicable and dull

WTM Admin

No, the ‘blame’ for the human condition is placed on the instincts' unwarranted ‘criticism’ of the intellect’s attempts to self-manage! Jeremy Griffith’s biological ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition then allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wings of politics. For example, when we understand that the search for knowledge, namely the search for understanding of our ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition, has been all-important, we can see that, paradoxically, it is the left, not the right, that poses the real threat to humanity because the left’s dogmatically imposed idealism inhibits freedom of thought and that search for understanding. Jeremy is not unfairly focusing on the failings of the left wing (indeed, in his book FREEDOM he acknowledges the importance of compassion in holding a society together) but rather explains from scientific first principles the serious threat posed by pseudo idealism to humanity’s ultimate goal of finding understanding. We suggest you visit our FAQs about politics.

Sempre ao escutar sinto q cada vez o entendimento e melhor ,muito obrigado por esse lindo explicacao; brigad! [Always when listening I feel that each time the understanding is better, thank you very much for this beautiful explanation; thank you! (translated from Portugese)]

Lynette Germishuizen

Hi I am from South Africa and for the first time listening to your video twice I finally understand and have answer to my questions. Thank you so much

Deborah Watt

Brilliant !!!!! Our nurturing Mother can’t wait, nor can any of us. Homo Empathicus here we come.

Kris Dickson

I am still digesting these principals. But, I wonder... What someone like Putin would have to say about them? &, indeed, how do they apply to him? I understand well, as a mother, who sees her children putting into daily activity how & what they were taught, with their own, that ALL must be love, understanding, & pure nurturing. But, I hunger to see these principles in daily life & find it even harder to appreciate how ‘close’ the humankind is to employing them. Especially, as one tribe.

WTM Admin

Great to have your interest, Kris. The more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, the more you will realise how accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset, which in the extreme, produces people, even dictators, who are addicted to having power over others; see our FAQ 4.2 ‘How does this rehabilitate what we historically term ‘evil’’. Your questions are also specifically addressed in FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’     As with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it will take time for people to realise that this is the breakthrough we’ve all been waiting for, but as support and momentum continues to build, the selfless love and energy it generates will solve our problems very quickly. Instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in the world; see our FAQs 1.4 – 1.6 about how this transformation works.

Jacques Delage

We know St-Paul’s statement to the Christ : “How come Lord, even though we know the Truth, are we still doing just the opposite ?” As good as may be knowledge, it takes more then that to achieve a genuine transformation of ourself. A sincere and sustained will to implement new ways, new behaviors and attitudes is necessary and as was saying Mira Alfassa, known as the Mother: “To know is good, to do and live is better, but to BE, that is perfect” The knowledge of being essentially good is certainly inspiring and helpful.

Thank you for the brilliant interview 🙏👏I’d love to learn much more and to contribute to a better humankind. “If you want to change the world, start by yourself” (Ghandi)

Remarkable and there are many ppl who are actually becoming more aware of this maybe not exactly the same way but it’s bout human consciousness and connection btwn human beings & our surroundings and the universe 💙 Awesome and love ❤️ this! Love to read the book!

Pastor Cyril Windvogel

This is nothing less than divine magnificence! This is more than transformation. This is transcending everything we’ve ever experienced and been exposed to. Please, my contemporaries, give this your undivided attention!!!

Johan Lombard

Thanks for the brilliant messages. Enlightens my whole life

Ramaa Krishnan

Fantastic work! And so, so, so, needed!! My only exception is his placing the new age as being the same as leftist political correctness. In fact the New Age is returning human beings to ancient spiritual teachings which say pretty much the same thing in a different language: We are Divine having a human experience. The dogmatic leftists or rightists are not true NewAgers at all! I will let famous quote by Marianne Williamson who is a New-Age leader speak for itself: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

WTM Admin

Hi Ramaa, thank you for your interest. As you absorb the material on our website further you will discover that understanding the human condition is the great unlocking point in the human journey of conscious thought and enquiry and its resolution leads, at last, to the real basis for personal and global liberation and transformation; the true “shine” Williamson seeks. The limitation of the New Age movement is that it focuses on teaching us to restrain and transcend our anger, alienation and selfish egocentricity, when the obvious truth is we needed to resolve our psychosis at its source and that is the great breakthrough Jeremy’s work presents. We are thinking beings, we need brain food not brain anaesthetic. We needed answers for our conscious thinking mind, without that all else is ultimately futile. You can read more about the real transformation now possible in Freedom Essay 33 — and we also recommend our FAQs on politics and the New Age movement.

Would like to use ideas in life coaching

WTM Admin

Great to learn of your interest, Fawzia! Understanding the human condition is the great unlocking point in the human journey of conscious thought and enquiry and provides the real basis for personal development and a lasting freedom from the torment of not understanding ourselves. Its resolution leads at last to an incredibly exciting and meaningful world for everyone. We very greatly appreciate people’s interest in, and support of, this all-important explanation of the human condition so we encourage them to share THE Interview on their social media channels or just tell people to go to our website HumanCondition.com and watch it. In terms of people who have become enthusiastic about our information and are seeking to perhaps formally communicate it to others, in your case through life coaching, we provide this important and, we hope helpful, advice in FAQ 1.24.

Diana Windham

Wonderful!

Renee Taylor

Thank you very much. This is a great interview to share.

Stephane

It’s a breakthrough!

John Russelk

I’m intrigued. I am also interested in a discussion about how this philosophy can be adapted to address addiction issues, especially alcoholism. Any ideas or suggestions?? John.

WTM Admin

Hi John, our human condition has caused all manner of horrific situations that humanity has so courageously endured, but the wonderful news is that we can now understand that our destructive behaviour (to others, and ourselves for example through harmful addictions) is the product of a psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect, and a psychosis is changeable as it can be healed through understanding — a revelation that has the power to transform the individual and thus the human race. As biologist Jeremy Griffith says in THE Interview “with understanding we can finally end our psychologically troubled human condition. It’s the understanding of ourselves that we needed to heal the pain in our brains and become sound and sane again”. See WTM FAQ 1.6 ‘Why understanding the human condition solves everything’.     We also thought you may find helpful psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s response to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis? (in FAQ 1.34); and also FAQ 1.35 ‘Does this heal anxiety?’. What is explained in those FAQs is that what is so significant about having the human condition resolved is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can know our psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. So we can now look after ourselves with great compassion and kindness. And importantly, having this fundamental understanding of our essential goodness, we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us—as FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’ summarises. This FAQ also points out the WTM does not have the resources to provide support or assistance to specific personal situations, and any information we do provide should not be used as, or as a substitute for, professional counselling.

Maro Ledaki

Astonished with the interview. I’d like to learn more. Thank you.

Miss Gillian Sears

This is a fascinating and profound interview...I certainly feel that truly deep questions I have held for many years are being answered now. Thank you

Kevin

1. Humans are evolved from a more-aggressive and violent species of Chimpanzees, rather than the idealized Bonobos you claim. 2.while maternal care created a civilizing instinct, it has been insufficient to reduce competition and win-lose behavior for scarce resources. 3 your subtle slamming of progressive thought is quite irrelevant to your evolutionary thesis - and only shows your own shallow political thought. The current political systems - including democracy, and authoritarianism are recent human inventions- less than 2000 years old. To mix them into a 2million year old evolution dialogue is poor poor scholarship. In summary, your white paper does little to accurately catalogue human evolution, and even less to create a coherent psychological healing context.

WTM Admin

A fair analysis reveals that the scholarship behind Griffith’s work is extraordinarily accurate and thorough. For example, the evidence that the cooperative and gentle bonobo chimpanzee represents a far better model of our human ancestors than the common chimpanzee, which is presented in detail in chapter 5 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, is now incontrovertible. In short, bonobo physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, better match our human ancestors. Reduced canine size is particularly relevant as it is a defining features of the hominin clade, and universally accepted as an indication of reduced aggression (of all the non-human primates, bonobos have the smallest canines). All this evidence has lead the prominent anthropologist C. Owen Lovejoy to write that “our species-defining cooperative mutualism can now be seen to extend well beyond the deepest Pliocene [well beyond 5.3 mya]”.     With regard to the criticism of progressive thought, and whether it has an evolutionary context, now that we can understand that the all-dominant influence of our development has been what was occurring in our brains, namely the development of consciousness and its psychological consequences, all aspects of human development and culture are able to be explained, including so called left wing or pseudo idealistic thinking. While THE Interview is only an introduction to this breakthrough explanation, as is explained in Jeremy’s booklet Death by Dogma, pseudo idealism would have occurred early in our 2-million-year journey from innocence to the utterly corrupted state or condition of the human race today. It has gone through many developments since its emergence, with socialism, the new age movement, the politically correct movement, some of the most recent. Again, these movements were actually all false starts to a human-condition-free world because the upsetting battle to find knowledge, ultimately self-knowledge, the psychologically relieving understanding of why we are good and not bad, still had to be completed.

The interview was uplifting and enlightening, to say the least. I have always believed in the innate goodness of mankind. With the appearance of the Plandemic I have also seen that evil side of mankind and how it has kept us from awakening from a bad dream. This information must be put out there for everyone to acknowledge. I will certainly do my share to help enlighten my fellow man. Thank you for existing!

Kimberley

Outstanding Interview.

I barely turned my sights to the book’s content before feeling it in the pit of my stomach, personally written, it already has a home with me during my confusing newave time

Shirley Oliphant

Interesting. Hope to enjoy the book.

Gesmay

Mind blowing .I watched The Interview 3 times. Why do I like this? My interest has grown It’s uncomplicated and Mr Grifith is sincere. I’ll definitely get the book. 😊

Maria Szczypinska

Thank you for a fascinating analysis of the human condition and I look forward to reading your book . Blessings

Marla

Part one seems a no brainer already understood by me and I think should be to anyone with common sense without being told. I will continue to listen in hopes of learning. .

WTM Admin

That’s wonderful you will continue listening Maria because THE Interview certainly does present a new scientific understanding of humans. The age-old question has always been why, when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless, are we so angry, competitive and selfish? Answering this required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview. We recommend FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new? / How does this instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition differ from other theories that recognise these elements?’, as it explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work.

Fotini Kordos

I’m flabbergasted. Let’s begin!

I heard what we all need to do, my question is how do we do it?Details please!

Explanation of the human condition does produce a huge paradigm shift so it takes a little while to see how it all works but Part 4 explains, now the human condition is solved, we can legitimately return to a selfless way of living — so selflessness is how we transform the world! Certainly there is habituation to overcome, but all Jeremy Griffith’s writings on this Transformed way of living, explains how real change is immediately open to us all. This is summarised in FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 and Freedom Essay 15 ‘How our lives can be immediately transformed’ and our Transformation section of our website is brimming with invaluable insight and personal affirmations as to the ‘how to’. Also FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ may be most helpful.

Incredible just amazing feel like a weight has been lifted from my mind. I’m looking forward to exploring this further and looking at the other resources available on this subject. I will be sharing this with everyone I know. ❤️

Thank you, a wonderful explanation of where we came from, where we are now and where we are able to achieve with love & understanding of being human!

Onbaatzuchtige liefdevolle maar rechtvaardigheid kan niet jong genoeg aan onze kinderen worden getoont en aangeleerd [Selfless love and justice cannot be shown and taught to our children young enough (translated from Dutch)].

Im glad some body take the time to sort this out. Thanks!

The sublime is ever present as our core. Enlightenment is when the wave realises it is water. Le Marq [French naturalist Jean-Baptiste Lamarck], peer of Darwin, showed Cooperation is as basic as competition ...how else could a small slow naked mammal prosper?

WTM Admin

As Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview, genuinely cooperative, unconditionally selfless genetic traits are self-eliminating, and therefore cannot normally develop in animals—which means animals are not normally able to cooperate beyond situations of reciprocity or kin selection (see chapter 6:9 of FREEDOM for an expose of this false biology that claims cooperation can be selected for). However, as Jeremy explains in Part 3 of THE Interview, the selfish process of natural selection was able to create loving selflessness in our forebears through nurturing (Freedom Essay 21 and chapter 5 of FREEDOM explain this ‘love-indoctrination’ process, as Jeremy has termed it, more fully).     So while Jean-Baptiste Lamarck was wrong to think that cooperation could be selected for because it beats competition, he was right that we do have cooperative instincts. However, since we do have loving, cooperative instincts, that begs the question of what is the source of our aggressive, selfish behaviour? Ultimately we needed science to explain the human condition, the essential question of why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview.

Latifa Latif

So I have a question, did humans gain their consciousness over night or gradually?

WTM Admin

Thank you for your question Latifa. In THE Interview Jeremy Grffith explains that the development of consciousness was gradual, occurring over millions of years. Specifically in Part 3 he refers the audience to chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM for a more in-depth explanation of how we humans became fully conscious. This is also summarised in FAQ 5.4 ‘‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’ on our website.

Abdirahman

Thank you ;)

Marcela

And when we all find ourselves, we will find our home, the place where we started our journey.

WTM Admin

Thanks Marcela, yes, with our psychologically upset now defended we can find ourselves because it is now safe to admit that our human instincts are loving and cooperative, that is our natural state – see Part 3 of THE Interview; and in Part 4, it is explained how, with the human condition now solved, all humans will be able to return to that non-upset ideal state or home we’ve longed for, but we will return to it with understanding, in a fully conscious way. As the poet T.S. Eliot anticipated, ‘We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time’ (Little Gidding, 1942).

Maria Montenegro

I want to know more about human conscience

WTM Admin

In THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains how we acquired our conscience, in particular see Part 3 titled ‘How did we humans acquire our instinctive cooperative and loving moral conscience?’. This explanation is presented in greater detail in Jeremy’s Freedom Essay 21 and in full in chapter 5 of his definitive book FREEDOM. Also I’m sure you will find our FAQ 1.26 ‘What is soul, have we all got one, has it been repressed, and if so, how do we rehabilitate it?’ absolutely fascinating.

Gyöngyi

Intuïtively I’ve always felt and deep in my heart I’ve always known that we were born with a clean soul. And that we are driven to do good. The new thing is the biologic explanation of this, which is certainly helpful for a change of paradigm.
