wow, suddenly life kinda makes sense, and have all my life felt judgded unfairly as if i was instinctive like an animal as has the human race has kind of conditioned itself and yes this is a fear based reason that people dont have such an open mind that they can hear and see the truth in this message as the description of the explosive anger and frustration of knowing u r more than just instictive. spot on

We need to heal ourselves from psychological conditions. It will take a lot of time to heal. But we can conquer our limitations and move forward.
WTM Admin
Yes, Robert, as with any new scientific breakthrough in history it may take time for people to realise this is the universal solution we have all sought to all the problems we face but once it catches on—through people recognising the importance of it—the infectious enthusiasm and selfless love it liberates will spread like wildfire and this is starting to happen! The Buddhist tradition talks about the basic goodness of human beings. It’s a tradition based on non-violence and cooperation.
Are we screwed up by our monotheistic religions?
WTM Admin
No, as is explained in The Interview, we suggest that the more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, the more you will realise how accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset. We can now see that the purpose of religion was to be the custodian of the ideal state while the search for liberating knowledge was underway. Trying to understand humans from their biology is self-defeating and misleading. Humans are spiritual beings and any attempt to downplay them to their genes, instincts etc does an amazing disservice to humanity.
WTM Admin
Because the human condition comes down to human biology it is ultimately a question for biologists to answer, however, as Jeremy Griffith has written in one of his earlier books (A Species In Denial), “The demystification of our world doesn’t mean the specialness of our world is removed, rather it means the specialness is made more tangible. Mechanistic science, like all forms of denial, has largely been a process of stripping the beauty and truth from the world whereas the denial-free explanation of the world restores all that beauty and truth. It allows humans to live with a full awareness of, and ability to savour, the beauty of integration. It is alienation that is devoid of spirituality, not the truth.” You may also be interested in reading FAQ 6.2 ‘How can a scientific explanation ever hope to account for and encompass the great ‘spiritual’ dimension we know exists in life? / Isn’t ‘spirituality’ beyond a purely rational explanation?’

Is religion maybe an imperfect way that we use to explain our conscious mind?
WTM Admin
Yes, religion has contained all manner of truth about the human condition. It is only imperfect in the sense that it is a pre-scientific explanation of the human condition. As Jeremy explains in THE Interview for example, “the Biblical story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden that Moses wrote so long ago in about 1,500 BC actually perfectly describes the psychologically upsetting battle that emerged between our instincts and conscious intellect. It says Adam and Eve/we humans took the ‘fruit’ (Genesis 3:3) ‘from the tree of knowledge’ (Gen. 2:9, 17) and were ‘disobedient’ (the term widely used in descriptions of Gen. 3). In other words, we developed a conscious mind and free will. But in that pre-scientific story it says Adam and Eve then became ‘evil’ (Gen. 3:22) perpetrators of ‘sin’ (Gen. 4:7) because they became angry, egocentric and alienated, and as a result Moses said they were ‘banished…from the Garden of Eden’ (Gen. 3:23) state of cooperative and loving innocence.” With the benefit of science, thankfully we can now explain that they, we humans, weren’t bad at all; in fact, we are the heroes of the story of life on Earth! You might also be interested in our FAQs about religion which explain that religion deserves praise for being a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-scientific view.

WTM Admin
Yes, Peter, we have been a ‘God fearing’ species, but the redeeming explanation of the human condition changes all of that. As Jeremy explains in FAQ 6.2, “the theme or purpose or meaning of existence is the ordering or integration of matter, a process that is driven by the physical law of Negative Entropy. There is, however, an immense problem admitting this truth of integrative meaning, and that is it unbearably confronts us with our divisive, seemingly disintegrative selfish, competitive and aggressive human condition. The fact is that for a larger whole to form and hold together (integrate) the parts of that whole must consider the welfare of the whole above their own welfare. Simply stated, selflessness is integrative while selfishness is divisive or disintegrative. But this implies that we selfish and competitive humans have been living in defiance of ‘Integrative Meaning’, living in a way that is out of step with creation! In fact, Integrative Meaning has been such a terrifyingly condemning truth that we divisively behaved humans couldn’t face it. And so, to avoid facing it, we deified the process of Integrative Meaning as ‘God’, thus making it something separate and superior to us, not connected to us in an earthly, practical way. So, ‘God’ is the personification of Integrative Meaning, a personification that was necessary while we selfish and competitive humans couldn’t explain why we were seemingly at odds with ‘God’! IT IS ONLY NOW that we have the redeeming explanation of humans’ divisively behaved human condition, that we can at last afford to demystify ‘God’ as Integrative Meaning. You can read more about how ‘God’ is our personification of Integrative Meaning in chapter 4:3 of FREEDOM.

Now it all makes sense. But I do wonder about the future of the concept of God and the future of most of the world’s major religions!
But the amazing freedom of thought this now brings. Wow. Wow.
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition at last reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. But rather than threatening religions, what people discover is it is the fulfilment of a time that all the great prophets looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves. His work simply brings biological understanding to religion’s pre-scientific descriptions of our condition (see our FAQs about religion). And nor does this demystification of ‘God’ threaten a belief in God. As Jeremy explains in FAQ 6.2, “all the attributes we have imbued ‘God’ with—‘His’ lovingness of our fallen state, ‘His’ reassurance that if we are as true to him as we can be all will be okay in the end, ‘His’ kindness towards all forms of suffering, ‘His’ essential ‘goodness’, ‘His’ ‘bigness’ in every sense; namely ‘His’ universality, ‘His’ omnipotence (all-powerfulness), omnipresence (all-presentness) and omniscience (all-knowingness)—are actually now confirmed and reinforced by our ability to understand ‘Him’.”

I have listened and truly interested.

Thank you for this free information. I am looking forward to being healed of panic attacks and high anxiety.. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️✝️
WTM Admin
Hi Debbie, the human condition has caused so much unbearable suffering it has been a deeply tragic reality but finally being able to understand the battle between our instinct and intellect is immensely relieving. If you haven’t read it already, we thought you would find psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s response to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis?’ helpful — see FAQ 1.34 — and also FAQ 1.35 on ‘Does this heal anxiety?’ What is explained in those FAQs is that what is so significant about Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is that we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We can at last understand the source of our upset and bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and, most significantly, we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us — see FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’. This FAQ importantly urges people who struggle with mental health issues to seek the support and assistance of professional counsellors and points out that any information we do provide should not be used as, or as a substitute for, professional counselling.

this one thing to understand whole of human nature? you clearly don’t know what you talking about
WTM Admin
We suggest the more you absorb what is presented in THE Interview the more you will realise that all humans suffer from a universal psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. While this manifests in a multitude of different ways, that is to be expected because everyone has had a different exposure to the human condition, whether it is through how their parents were affected by the human condition, or their exposure to upset in the world as a whole, but the macro truth is that we are all insecure about our self-worth, and the ultimate source of it is the instinct vs intellect clash. Which is why the highly respected psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, wrote: “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from…It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”

Buddha and Jesus tried to do this but people have to accept willingly to change.
WTM Admin
While Christianity, Buddhism and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.
And yes, as with any new scientific breakthrough in history it may take time for people to realise this is the universal solution we have all sought to all the problems we face but once it catches on—through people recognising the importance of it—the infectious enthusiasm and selfless love it liberates will spread like wildfire and this is starting to happen! You might also be interested in FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

It is a very interesting aproach and a complete attempt to explain the human condition .Unfortunately its missing a whole big truth .There is no reports about the system that we all are forced to live in ,the lack of spirituality and a comparrison with times in history where people where living in more fare systems were human condition was much different .
All the above is just a critic and has no intention and bring down this amazing effort to understand the human condition .Science and spirituality need to work together and free people from the money corrupted system .After this happen Human condition will be improved.

WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Theodoros. Now we can understand the human condition, we can see that everyone has suffered from it, and ‘the system’, has been a manifestation of our insecure, psychologically upset condition. Only solving the human condition, addressing the source of our selfish psychological upset and immense alienation from our instinctive selves that has left humanity devoid of spirituality or soul, could we achieve real and lasting change and stop the destruction of our world that is happening everywhere we look. These FAQs may be of interest: FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’ and FAQ 1.26 ‘What is soul, have we all got one, has it been repressed, and if so, how do we rehabilitate it?’

WTM Admin
As FAQ 1.2 explains, unable to confront the human condition, science has been mechanistic and reductionist, and what’s more, has denied the existence of our psychologically troubled human condition, blaming our selfish behaviour on ‘savage instincts’ within us. And that is where the human race has been stalled, waiting in an increasingly distressed state for the real explanation for our psychologically troubled human condition that will finally make sense of the riddle of human life. That is, until now—because that human-mind-liberating, psychosis-relieving REAL scientific explanation has at last been delivered!
Ana Maria Bellino Athaydw Varela
It is a very interesting subject that I have been awaken by Jung that have explained this profundly in his book of unconscience. It is very good to me to see that finally science is prepared to respond to that and that is taken seriously. Thank you a lot
WTM Admin
Hi Ana Maria, there is a lot to digest and it is a useful exercise to apply this fundamental instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition to Jung’s work. For example, we can now see that Jung’s great discovery of the shared-by-all ‘collective unconscious’ failed to acknowledge what our ‘collective’, shared-by-all, instinctive ‘unconscious’ actually is, which is our species’ instinctive memory of once living in a cooperative and loving state. Jung was also able to highlight a clash between instinctual drives and consciousness, however he did not explain the source of the clash (which is that our instincts were intolerant of our conscious mind’s experiments in self-management) or that the fundamental nature of our psychosis was our conscious mind’s repression of our loving and cooperative instincts. So while Jung made a great contribution to humanity’s journey toward self-understanding, what Jeremy Griffith has provided in THE Interview is the all-important clarifying, redeeming, reconciling and psychologically rehabilitating explanation for why the conflict between our instincts and our consciousness occurred. And with regard to science having had to avoid our universal psychosis, as is explained in THE Interview, we can now see that until this redeeming explanation of it was found, mechanistic science had to develop human-psychosis-avoiding theories and therefore couldn’t confront and solve the human condition as Jeremy has now done. These two FAQs may be of interest: FAQ 1.2 ‘How does science currently explain the human condition?’ and FAQ 1.3 ‘What is biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition?’
Wayne Stephens
First of all I would like to thank Jeremy Griffith for his treaties. I think his work is vital and instrumental for mankind to move forward out of its present state and condition. I believe that this is something that should be taught in schools and to our children at a very young age. However, the historical part of his lecture maybe somewhat inadequate according to my studies. In particular the fact that mankind has not had the science or knowledge to express this. If we were to take an honest look an assessment at the ancient cultures, Egyptians, samarian and a few others all over the planet; we can conclude that they had a great understanding of these facts. The Egyptians in particular had mystery schools, this is where Herodotus, Aristotle, and Plato; and any other Greek and Roman who made a name for themselves develop their concepts and ideas. There’s a temple called the temple of man where they breakdown the whole human body including the penal gland which is pivotal and undertaking this endeavor. the programming of our consciousness through this current culture has been a hindrance for mankind for thousands of years. And until we reform our educational system we may be stuck in this matrix by a system that’s designed to enslave us. I’m an optimistic positive person so I’m always seeking out to find a good and everything. The ancients understood that the universe is mental, Nikola Tesla studies ancient systems and concepts and became great amongst us during our present time. I think it’s time for us to go back and examine these ancient civilizations from a non biased viewpoint. Mankind is ready for this next step, thank you.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comments, Wayne. Whilst various cultures and individuals through history have recognised the elements involved in our human condition (which Jeremy Griffith fully credits in Video/Freedom Essay 4, which we think you’ll find fascinating), ultimately we needed more recent scientific discoveries to explain the human condition, the essential question of why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview. So Jeremy’s reference to 150 years providing “the science or knowledge” necessary is in regard to science’s ability to explain the human condition, specifically, to provide the redeeming, instincts-can-orientate-but-only-nerves-can-understand, good reason why we departed from innocence and seemingly became ‘evil', bad people, not scientific knowledge as a whole. To quote: “Precisely, it’s only in the last 150 years or so that science has given us A: the ability to know that the gene-based natural selection process gives species orientations to the world; and B: the knowledge of our nerves and how they are able to remember events, which, much developed, has led to our mind being able to sufficiently understand the relationship between cause and effect to become conscious of, or aware of, or intelligent about those relationships.”

There is something to take away from interview no matter what your beliefs are. When you listen to the Russian author’s quote, you automatically yearn for that which shows that we are fundamentally..good. The narrative of the interview speaks to mindfulness, mind soothing, and “human” affirmation, all having ripple effects, which is what so many people are aspiring towards nowadays.
David Cavanaugh
As with all the “revelations” I have experienced in my life, the truth rings like a bell and new thoughts and understandings and questions emerge. I’m looking forward to the journey awaiting us all that this interview has revealed.
As for the “fall of man” story, I had learned that eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil necessitated the banishment from Eden to insure that man no longer had access to the tree of life, i.e., immortality. Any thoughts?
WTM Admin
It’s wonderful that Jeremy Griffith’s treatise is resonating with you David. Explanation of the human condition presents an entirely new way of understanding humans which takes time to consider and absorb so now you have watched THE Interview we suggest you watch our Introductory Video Series on our homepage, especially the key videos 1 – 4 and 14.
In terms of the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, as explained in Part 2 of THE Interview, it describes the primary situation involved in our human condition of the psychologically upsetting battle that emerged between our instincts and our conscious intellect’s search for knowledge. What science can now add to that pre-scientific description is that our pre-established instincts in effect criticised the the emerging conscious mind’s search for knowledge, but importantly, we can now understand that the conscious mind was right, or ‘good’ to defy our instinctive self in order to fulfil its great potential to manage life. In religious terminology, we can now understand from scientific first principles that ‘Adam and Eve’ were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’ or ‘sinful’. Importantly, as our FAQ 1.38 explains, this understanding of why we became upset as a species does not condone or sanction the horrific violence and injustices humans can commit, rather, through bringing understanding to humans’ upset behaviour, it gives us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate it. This removes the burden of guilt from humanity so it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough or revelation.
Brigid Prain
On track in terms of harmonious outcomes yet the crux for me in any discussions such as this is when the opinion that humanity is the only animal species that understands reason, is posited. This idea of humans existing potentially at the pinnacle of consciousness is, I feel, restrictive and unrealistic. All consciousness contributes to that which is and therefore there is no one ‘at the top’ heightened animal in existence. We all have talents that matter to the whole. Glory is in this recognition, belonging is expanded beyond that which this wonderful discussion currently posits. We are free to relate to all aspects of life.
WTM Admin
We appreciate your feedback Brigid. Many people suggest that other animals are variously conscious, but the argument misunderstands what is really meant by consciousness. As Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview, consciousness simply means being sufficiently aware of how experiences are related to attempt to manage change from a basis of understanding. Clearly while other animals have various levels of ‘awareness’, none can consciously manage events like humans can, and so it is accurate to describe humans as the only animals possessing fully conscious minds. It is also worth noting that Jeremy explains that developing consciousness depended on overcoming the competitive, selfish ‘animal condition’ and becoming orientated to selflessness, so if a species is still preoccupied with selfish, competitive dominance, as other animals are, they can’t become fully conscious. If you would like to explore this further we recommend our FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’
Brandon M.
The human condition as a psychosis feels right. The idea that it’s a natural outcome of consciousness is definitely worth exploration. I don’t know if it’s right, but I hope it is.
WTM Admin
Yes this is absolutely worth exploring further Brandon. Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition explains how our conscious mind became alienated from our loving, cooperative instinctive self, resulting in a universal psychosis. As Jeremy points out in THE Interview, the word ‘psychosis’ literally means ‘soul-illness’ and ‘psychiatry’ literally means ‘soul-healing’ (derived as they are from psyche meaning ‘soul’, osis meaning ‘abnormal state or condition’ and iatreia meaning ‘healing’). Basically, as is also explained in THE Interview, the argument that our behaviour is dictated by survival or selfish instincts was just a convenient excuse while we searched for the psychosis-addressing-and-solving real explanation of our divisive behaviour (see FAQ 1.29 ‘Is the human condition biological or psychological’). And, significantly, a psychosis is changeable as it can be healed through understanding! To investigate Jeremy’s treatise further we recommend our Introductory Video Series and also his definitive book FREEDOM which are all freely available on our homepage HumanCondition.com.
Irene
What an excellent appropriate topic. It issurely very valuable. First time that I am hearing this. Thank you
Ps. I am currently being treated for trauma..Thank you.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Irene! Explanation of the human condition is endlessly fascinating but it introduces an entirely new framework of knowledge, a massive paradigm shift in how we view humans, which takes time to absorb. This is extremely exciting but also necessarily extremely confronting of all the psychological upset and denial that the human condition has caused, to varying degrees, in humans. We wanted to mention this because, as is summarised in our FAQ 1.19, this can be very confronting and destabilising on a personal level if people overly study it or rush into it so that is something everyone should be mindful of but especially those who have suffered trauma. This FAQ also points out that any information we do provide should not be used as, or as a substitute for, professional counselling or treatment.
So take your time Irene and what we suggest people find so significant and comforting about this explanation of the human condition is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can know our psychological upset was the price all humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. So we can now treat ourselves with great compassion and love and we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us as the above FAQ explains.

I most appreciate your comment, “(the) conscious mind can be healed with understanding.” I believe this. And without trying to, Jeremy, you have proposed what God has been trying to say to us these millennium; we are loved, we are fundamentally good, (stop doing harm ). We will be, with your movement of choosing love, exactly as He wanted all along. You’ve described the New Heaven and Earth. I am your advocate!
WTM Admin
Thank you for your encouragement Debi! Yes Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God it simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being briefly explained in THE Interview as being the integrative meaning of existence. We recommend our FAQs about religion especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’

Brilliant thinking. I need time to consider your argument.

I have to agree with everything you’ve said I was taught that Adam and Eve was a metaphor for Atoms and Evolution which are one in the same. My take on this is when we don’t balance our conscious with our instinct this creates turmoil also called human conditions.

Great to have your interest Landre. Yes as explained in Part 2 of THE Interview, the book of Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden describes the primary situation involved in our human condition of the psychologically upsetting battle that emerged between our instincts and our conscious intellect’s search for knowledge. In religious terminology, we can now understand from scientific first principles that ‘Adam and Eve’ were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’ or ‘sinful’; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! This removes the burden of guilt from humanity; it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough.

Excellent.
Thank you so much
ANNA
Cooperative & loving idealism was proclaimed & practiced by Jesus, and His followers are expected to exercise it as well...
up till now - it does not work :(
WTM Admin
We completely agree Anna. To clarify Jeremy Griffith’s work is not an idealistic plea for everyone to behave cooperatively, it is a biological defence of realism. THE Interview explains why imposing artificial or pseudo idealism does not work and further explains pseudo-idealism in its current forms now actually threatens humanity because it “stifled and oppressed the search for the understanding of our corrupted condition that was needed to actually free us from that state”. And it is that understanding of our so-called ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition that Jeremy presents and provides the urgently needed road map for the complete rehabilitation and transformation of our lives and world! Also see FAQ 1.4 which answers the questions ‘How does being able to understand the human condition end the upset anger, egocentricity and alienation of the human condition? / How can everyone’s lives be immediately transformed?/ How do you let go of your ego? / What is the transformed state? / How is the transformation that this information brings about different to deferring to a religion?’
Cecil
“And now we must immediately turn around and not ever look back...and so victoriously nurture to maturity and perpetuity...all our neglected sorrows...self condemnation and destruction that lies behind...it will take everything to rebuild and replenish the mind and spirit and to come to that everlasting Dominion of love and fruitfulness we once possessed...bless!”
WTM Admin
Hi Cecil, thanks for your thoughts. Yes finally being able to understand the source of our ‘sorrows, self condemnation and destruction’ is fundamental to our rehabilitation. And, as you say, we don’t have to look back as the human journey is compassionately explained, we are ‘victorious’ in our quest to find understanding of our condition, which actually makes the relief and ‘replenishment’ immediate. As Part 4 of THE Interview explains and our Transformation section further illustrates we now have the urgently needed road map for the complete rehabilitation and transformation of our lives and world! We encourage you to explore this Transformation section of our website as it is brimming with invaluable insights and personal affirmations that demonstrate how this has transformed people’s lives and that of their families.

Another insight into us humans, modern way of live and conditions we deal with, every day in our lives.
WTM Admin
Hi Hennie, we thought we would mention FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’. It explains to ultimately resolve the human condition we needed to find the scientific explanation for why, when the ideals are to be loving and cooperative, we are so selfish, competitive and destructive. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.
Abubakar Yaro
Very interesting! I’ll be happy to critically review this book

many animals show understanding, empathy, will to help and share, especially females (but not only)
Thank you for this great interview!
WTM Admin
Even though other animals display various levels of socialness they are driven by gene-based natural selection and the essential fact or rule of natural selection is that genes are unavoidably selfish, so there is a fundamental limit to the amount of selfless, loving behaviour they can develop. The brilliance of biologist Jeremy Griffith’s treatise is he explains how humans biologically overcame this genetic limitation through what he identifies as the ‘love-indoctrination’ process, which produced our all-loving, altruistic instincts—in fact Jeremy explains it was women’s maternal love that gave us our moral soul and created humanity! This is presented in Part 3 of THE Interview using the example of the extraordinarily cooperative and maternal bonobos, who have developed this ‘love-indoctrination’ process to a lesser degree. Also FAQ 5.2 ‘How did we humans acquire our all-loving, unconditionally selfless moral conscience?/ What do bonobos tell us about our own evolutionary heritage?’.

Peter Green
Most interesting but I found it very difficult to understand how we can revert to the co-operative and loving state throughout humanity
WTM Admin
Thanks for you feedback Peter and it does take a little time to fully absorb the significance of finally being able to expalin the human condition. What it means is we now have the ability, for the first time ever, to understand every aspect of human behaviour and our behaviour will change naturally as a result. At last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because at last we have the first principle-based science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. This is the rapidly transforming practical effect of being able to understand the human condition which is fully explained and illustrated on our Transformation page. Also FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 explain the far-reaching application of this information and Freedom Essay 15 is all about ‘How our lives can be immediately transformed’. We’d especially recommend you join our Facebook Group and register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith as there is so much helpful and practical discussion taking place there about this immensely redeeming and relieving knowledge!

Everyone should make this a priority to UNDERSTAND and not just know and read about. The sooner this becomes mainstream and the sooner people truly begin to understand the human condition as explained in the interview , the better for the world.
the o
This clarified a lot of thoughts and human behavioral theories i have been incapable to explain in my own word. The interview almost felt like therapy. though how can these ideas be put into practice on an local, regional, national and international scale when the small powerful groups are gaining money from psychological weakness by perpetuating the a consumer based individualist lifestyle. billionaires are the new monarchs.
WTM Admin
Indeed the more you digest this understanding, the more you realise that the human condition is behind all our actions and motivations, including our need for power and control, which is just a symptom of our insecure, human condition afflicted state. It follows that if you address that underlying insecurity, then our need for power (along with all our other artificial sources of reinforcement) will be removed. And that is why this understanding does provide the ultimate therapy for the human race as it addresses and solves that core insecurity about our self-worth. In fact, this redeeming, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fortune and glory.
We suggest you read our helpful FAQ 1.40 which answers the question 'How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

Societies are rotten to the core, it will take time to turn this ship before it sinks...
WTM Admin
Yes, humanity is approaching endplay, which makes this redeeming, rehabilitating explanation of the human condition all the more precious. As with any new scientific breakthrough in history it will take time to gain mainstream acceptance, and from there break through the bastions of power in the world. However, with support from those who appreciate this understanding, the truth is that this redeeming, compassionate and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fame, fortune and glory. Basically, so exciting and relieving is this breakthrough, and the freedom from the human condition that is now on offer, that everyone will want it, and so it will catch on like wildfire and this is already happening. We MUST get back to living cooperatively AND lovingly in our race to SELF-UNDERSTANDING over SELF-DESTRUCTION ! 🙏😊✌️
WTM Admin
Yes Paul at last we can understand that in order to find self-understanding we had to defy our loving instincts and become angry, egocentric and alienated suffers of the human condition which has almost caused our self-destruction. Now with this understanding found we can explain this conflict and the guilt it produced and we can legitimately return to the cooperative and loving state we once lived in, see FAQ 1.3 nutshell explanation of the human condition.

Very enlightening makes sense, the loving and nurturing of our young, it takes a village to raise a child in an unconditional, unselfish, humble, unified, environment of non judgemental, love and shared responsibility for our future. We will have no reason to worry about our future if we take responsibility of our contribution to our present. Love and respect.
WTM Admin
Yes, humanity’s ability to nurture has been severely compromised by the human condition, but now that all our preoccupied behaviour has been defended by the explanation of the human condition, we can now safely acknowledge the absolute importance of nurturing in the development of children – see chapter 8:16C of FREEDOM on ‘The dire consequences of terminal levels of alienation destroying our ability to nurture our children’.

We need to heal ourselves from psychological conditions. It will take a lot of time to heal. But we can conquer our limitations and move forward.
Hello, very eye opening interesting science psychological insight, I agree, I believe it’s important to live your life in a compassionate way love always xx
The Buddhist tradition talks about the basic goodness of human beings. It’s a tradition based on non-violence and cooperation. Are we screwed up by our monotheistic religions?
No, as is explained in The Interview, we suggest that the more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, the more you will realise how accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset. We can now see that the purpose of religion was to be the custodian of the ideal state while the search for liberating knowledge was underway. Our FAQs about the demystification of religion may be of interest.
Very interesting and great to share!!!
This is a wonderful framework net where understanding of human biology and its living environment drives us human to empower our living capacity understanding, also allows the human species to work within a transformative mindset in order to address several challenges as climate change, novel pandemics and diseases etc... That is why we are all about to work as one teach, mobilisee, inform people about the correlation in between human being, our echo system and the way for a sustainable and durable life.
Awesome information
Feel inspired simply from reading comments. Can’t wait to find free time today to listen and consume. My country, the world, and I are deeply in need of change.
Awesome
Trying to understand humans from their biology is self-defeating and misleading. Humans are spiritual beings and any attempt to downplay them to their genes, instincts etc does an amazing disservice to humanity.

Jeremy, it is amazing knowledge that needs to be spread all round the world in every language. thank you for sharing. Ida
With this inclusive and comprehensive understanding of the human condition, we are presently in a position to address the most urgent and life-threatening problems, we as human race, do face now so unapologetically as unlikely to be postponed and delayed
Good stuff
I want to know more about it
Enlightening insight indeed, mind provoking... Very fascinating insight to share with those around me and beyond... I’m blessed🙏🎓
Hello! Thank you very much for this visionary lecture. I agree with everything, human race is the most agresive and selfish, destroying everything in Nature. I feel ashamed many times.
Enlightening and uplifting! Simple explanation, but at the same time deep dive into the meaning of being human. Thank you!
Outstanding, really looking forward to receiving future communications as they become available. Thankyou for gifting this...!
Is religion maybe an imperfect way that we use to explain our conscious mind?
Looking forward to your research and communication

Need to understand The God and Humans relation! Thanks, peter lovasz
You can read more about how ‘God’ is our personification of Integrative Meaning in chapter 4:3 of FREEDOM.Now it all makes sense. But I do wonder about the future of the concept of God and the future of most of the world’s major religions! But the amazing freedom of thought this now brings. Wow. Wow.
This FAQ importantly urges people who struggle with mental health issues to seek the support and assistance of professional counsellors and points out that any information we do provide should not be used as, or as a substitute for, professional counselling.
this one thing to understand whole of human nature? you clearly don’t know what you talking about
We suggest the more you absorb what is presented in THE Interview the more you will realise that all humans suffer from a universal psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect.
Omg, this is absolutely amazing, I’m out of words, brilliant
Buddha and Jesus tried to do this but people have to accept willingly to change.
It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”I love it, can not believe what I hear
This interview was absolutely enlightening! Let us not just hope but start making the dream of a world more pure and filled with love and compassion TRUE! Such changes may take decades or even hundreds of years to come but no matter the time, it shall be worth it. Thank you a lot mr. Jeremy Griffith for opening a new way for humanity to become somewhat more whole!
Athens June 2022
Omg. I was overwhelmed, such a brilliant concept the whole human race needs to listen , learn & practice. Every soul on earth should practice this religiously to make this planet a beautiful place. GOD BLESS U ALL.
Excellent
It’s mind blowing and extremely explanatory if that is the word, teaching and makes one understand about one’s self. What I like the most is the introduction to other writers before, and the fact that Science is a lie, it doesn’t know humans...Trust
It is a very interesting subject that I have been awaken by Jung that have explained this profundly in his book of unconscience. It is very good to me to see that finally science is prepared to respond to that and that is taken seriously. Thank you a lot
Fabulous Interview! Will continue to listen to the interview...Access the book “Freedom from the Human Condition" as explained by Jeremy Griffith in the interview I just listened to through FB. Thank you for sharing this stunning explanation, your research on ‘The Human Condition' I am most grateful.
Thank you for wisdom, deeply grateful 🙏
Looking forward to your explanations of the human condition.
Love this insight. Life changing. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this knowledge selflessly
There is something to take away from interview no matter what your beliefs are. When you listen to the Russian author’s quote, you automatically yearn for that which shows that we are fundamentally..good. The narrative of the interview speaks to mindfulness, mind soothing, and “human” affirmation, all having ripple effects, which is what so many people are aspiring towards nowadays.
It’s wonderful that Jeremy Griffith’s treatise is resonating with you David. Explanation of the human condition presents an entirely new way of understanding humans which takes time to consider and absorb so now you have watched THE Interview we suggest you watch our Introductory Video Series on our homepage, especially the key videos 1 – 4 and 14.In terms of the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, as explained in Part 2 of THE Interview, it describes the primary situation involved in our human condition of the psychologically upsetting battle that emerged between our instincts and our conscious intellect’s search for knowledge.
The human condition as a psychosis feels right. The idea that it’s a natural outcome of consciousness is definitely worth exploration. I don’t know if it’s right, but I hope it is.
What an excellent appropriate topic. It issurely very valuable. First time that I am hearing this. Thank you Ps. I am currently being treated for trauma..Thank you.
So we can now treat ourselves with great compassion and love and we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us as the above FAQ explains.TREATING THE SYMPTOMS IS ONE THING but WITHOUT CHRIST JESUS IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE YOU ARE JUST GOING TO REPEAT THE CYCLE OF WHICH IS MANS NATURE. THANKYOU 💙 JESUS
Would love to read his book in order to broaden mine and others mental Horizons.
That’s great Mohammed! Jeremy Griffith’s books are immediately available for free here on our homepage. This includes Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM and the booklet version of THE Interview. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you are particularly wanting a hard copy you can purchase them from Amazon or other good bookstores.
Excellent. Thank you so much
Cooperative & loving idealism was proclaimed & practiced by Jesus, and His followers are expected to exercise it as well... up till now - it does not work :(
We completely agree Anna.
Very interesting! I’ll be happy to critically review this book Best regards, A
Thank you very much Adubakar. The booklet version of THE Interview and Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM are freely available to read online or download here on our homepage. Cool
many animals show understanding, empathy, will to help and share, especially females (but not only) Thank you for this great interview!

Most interesting but I found it very difficult to understand how we can revert to the co-operative and loving state throughout humanity
I’m curious
multumesc si sunt incantat de informatiile date [thank you and I am delighted with the information given (translated from Romanian).]
I thought you were heading in a different direction I’m still listening.
Great you’re still listening Heather! You might like to read FAQ 1.3 for very brief summary of the biological explanation of the human condition that THE Interview presents.
It’s very enlightening...
Xcellent news thanking you
Profound and informative....
Everyone should make this a priority to UNDERSTAND and not just know and read about. The sooner this becomes mainstream and the sooner people truly begin to understand the human condition as explained in the interview , the better for the world.
It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”Im prepared to purchase your book and share it with those around me...
You don’t have to wait to purchase a copy of FREEDOM Bongane as it is freely available right HERE on our homepage to share, read online, download or print your own copy. Nice
Born within me and in my mind at all times, is that of a scientist. I am always seeking to understand the CAUSE of every Thing, until the end of my conscious days. Therefore, I welcome with open mind, whatever Truths you have to reveal in your writings. Respectful, Kind & Inquisitive Regards, Dave Franklin
Societies are rotten to the core, it will take time to turn this ship before it sinks...
Just read the ecstatic responses THE Interview is receiving on our homepage and scroll down to see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for the WTM with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world!
We MUST get back to living cooperatively AND lovingly in our race to SELF-UNDERSTANDING over SELF-DESTRUCTION ! 🙏😊✌️
Yes
Awesome. I will buy your book and share to everyone! Thank you from Glasgow, Scotland.
Good on you Fiona, lets spread the word! For those who want a copy of Jeremy’s book FREEDOM, it is available for free on our homepage here (along with his other key books, including THE Interview) to read online or download. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. (Otherwise you can purchase hard copies from Amazon or other good bookstores.)
Reading the book Freedom now, wow truly wonderful
Thank you
Very enlightening makes sense, the loving and nurturing of our young, it takes a village to raise a child in an unconditional, unselfish, humble, unified, environment of non judgemental, love and shared responsibility for our future. We will have no reason to worry about our future if we take responsibility of our contribution to our present. Love and respect.
