Just what the world needs to know and acknowledge.

I’m an open-minded skeptic. We need to shine our lights into the shadows. As long as we do that, there’s HOPE!

Stephen Banks

I believe that the human family can change our conditions, as it is said the world needs more love...

WTM Admin

Yes, Stephen, but in order to forever “change our conditions”, we needed to understand our human condition — why, when the universal ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish? It is this crux question that Jeremy Griffith confronts and answers through first principle biology because only through understanding the dark side of ourselves — why we departed from our all-loving instincts and became selfish — can we free ourselves from the human condition and legitimately love ourselves, each other and the world again. We recommend reading our FAQ 1.6, ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’

Changkuoth Joch

I can’t wait to read this magnificent book, I can see it transform so many people’s lives and so I.

The Human Condition First intelligent question is: What does it mean to be human Second intelligent question What separates us from animals besides the most readily obvious We are sentient beings, we have self awareness, a conscience, subconscience etc Being human is at the very core of “The Human Condition” Once we unravel the mysteries of the human brain fully, we will understand and solve the Human Condition...

WTM Admin

Yes, consciousness is the glaring element that sets us apart from other animals and so it is no surprise that neuroscience shows that the human brain has an extraordinarily enlarged association cortex, which is the brain’s main reasoning centre. It also makes complete sense that ‘what it means to be human’ will then have something do with consciousness (which is our unique feature) and also our conscience, which Darwin described as being so remarkable, that “The moral sense…affords the best and highest distinction between man and the lower animals”. What is explained in THE Interview, is that when our conscious mind became sufficiently developed to attempt to wrest self-management from our pre-established, loving moral instincts, those instincts would have in effect criticised the conscious mind’s experiments. The result was that our conscious mind or intellect became defensive; we become psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated, which if we are honest, is the human condition. You might be interested in our FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’ And also Part 3 of THE Interview on how we developed our moral conscience (summarised in FAQ 5.2).

Cynthia Blackstone

When he said “especially scientists”, I lost interest. In fact, scientists are mainly physical, and it takes all our components of spirituality, mentality, emotionality and physicality to place forth the effort in order to create a world which would embrace a type of Utopia. I say a type because laying aside the paradigm of centuries where the rich and famous are on the top of the pyramid, it is going to be something short of a miracle to embrace Utopia. It needs the very young and able bodied guided by ethics and all that we are to finally reach the cooperative and functioning Utopia.

WTM Admin

Because the human condition, which is the question of why, when the ideals are to be selfless and cooperative, we are so selfish and divisive, comes down to human biology, it is ultimately a question for scientists, in particular biologists, to answer. It was the redeeming, reconciling and rehabilitating explanation of our selfish and divisive state that would ever allow us to legitimately put it aside and create the ‘utopia’ that has always been our species’ dream. Because, unlike mechanistic science, this is a holistic, human-condition-confronting explanation of the human condition, it does encompass all the aspects of the human condition that you mention. For example, as Jeremy Griffith has written in one of his earlier books (A Species In Denial), “The demystification of our world doesn’t mean the specialness of our world is removed, rather it means the specialness is made more tangible. Mechanistic science, like all forms of denial, has largely been a process of stripping the beauty and truth from the world whereas the denial-free explanation of the world restores all that beauty and truth. It allows humans to live with a full awareness of, and ability to savour, the beauty of integration. It is alienation that is devoid of spirituality, not the truth.” You may also be interested in reading FAQ 6.2 ‘How can a scientific explanation ever hope to account for and encompass the great ‘spiritual’ dimension we know exists in life? / Isn’t ‘spirituality’ beyond a purely rational explanation?’ With regard to the question of how the ‘rich and famous’ are going to ever want to give up their positions at ‘the top of the pyramid’, you may be interested in our FAQ 1.40, which addresses ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

Thank you.. I will share with my friends and colleagues..

Jeremy Griffith is the final dot that links my other dots to embrace the undeniable truth that we are not “born sinners” but the exact opposite. I have always believed this for 77 years. These revelations are credible & not incredible.

Philip Curtis

Will be sharing with our Humanist group in Canada. Thank you Jeremy and Craig!

Birdie

This is incredible!

Sal

Very interesting and insightful. I always knew we were inherently good, just observe innocent babies and toddlers and you’ll see how much love and affection they have, they don’t even have biases or discriminate against others, until they are taught to because of their environment. Raising a child in a healthy, warm and nurturing environment increases the chances of that offspring becoming a healthy adult with less mental disorders to deal with, therefore less upset. I wish more people can actually find it important to want to deeply know themselves and question why the behave the way they do. Only then, will the world begin healing from their upset and finally understand that working in harmony is what we need to thrive as humankind.

WTM Admin

Thank you so much for your comment Sal. Yes, despite our competitive and selfish behaviour, we have always intuitively believed we were fundamentally good, but we have never been able to explain this contradictory, conflicted condition, until now. Using first principle-based biology, Jeremy Griffith explains that understanding why the intellect had to defy our cooperative ‘good’ instincts (in order to search for knowledge) and become psychologically upset, or ‘bad’, could we resolve our species’ psychosis and legitimately return to the nurturing, loving and sensitive state we once lived in, that children, in their innocence, still instinctively expect. So we can understand it has been humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge that has compromised our ability to nurture and now that preoccupation ends we can safely acknowledge the absolute importance of nurturing in the development of children – see chapter 8:16C of FREEDOM on ‘The dire consequences of terminal levels of alienation destroying our ability to nurture our children’. So indeed our ability to heal depended on deeply knowing ourselves by having this core mystery of our contradictory behaviour biologically understood. This is the focus of Part 4 of THE Interview and is further explained on our Transformation page.

Terry Cain

It’s greed from the 1 percent is what the problem is that’s controlling the world though paying people off to get there agenda off not caring about anyone else

WTM Admin

Hi Terry, we suggest the more you digest this presentation, the more you realise that the human condition is behind all our actions and motivations, including our greed. The point is that our greed and the power it affords is a symptom of our insecure, human condition afflicted state. It follows that if you address that underlying insecurity, then our greed (along with all our other artificial sources of reinforcement) will be removed. And that is what this understanding does – it addresses and solves that core insecurity about our self-worth. In fact, this redeeming, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fortune and glory. You might be interested in FAQ 1.40, which addresses 'How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’

Since I quit my religious practices (because I grew up with catholic traditions, but I couldn’t understand why I have to do the things church teaches me) and started reading all the greatest philosophers of humanity, amazed with their bravery, and freedom of thoght and then I realized that science has been successfuly addressing most of the questions only great thinkers and religions dared to look at before the science developed - I can now surely say: this is the answer I have been looking for whole my life.

Frank

The problem with this theory is that it purports that there was no consciousness of thought or free will of choice before Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil... AKA the serpent, the original rebel...is the loving being who set us free. Oi vey...the truth...the answer...?? These chaps believe in science yet acknowledge the eroneous theory of darwins evolution of kind... Truly there is nothing new under the sun... Same delusion different packaging.

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith explains that consciousness emerged over millions of years, and that’s its experiments in self-management drew ‘criticism’ from our our pre-established instinctive self, until this ‘criticism’ reached a point that the conscious mind became defensive, which is the source of our psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated behaviour. The story of Adam and Eve, as explained in Part 2 of THE Interview, is a metaphor that describes the primary situation involved in our human condition of the psychologically upsetting battle that emerged between our instincts and our conscious intellect’s search for knowledge. To master the incredible potential of the conscoius mind’s ability to self-manage, or as you say, the ‘free will of choice’, the conscious mind had to defy our dictatorial instincts which resulted in humans becoming angry, egocentric and alienated — the upset state of our human condition. This is what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work. It answers the age-old question of why, when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless, are we so angry, competitive and selfish? This required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview. We recommend FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new? / How does this instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition differ from other theories that recognise these elements?’     Finally, you might be interested in Freedom Essay 25: ‘The truthful biology of life’, which allows us to now properly understand evolution as a developmental process rather than a random one.

Human beings need to hear truth. Guidance towards understanding our self I look forward to hearing about the human condition

Viginia Vladuca

There are a few strangely missing things from this biological analysis. The obsession with the uniqueness of all living creatures. Humans are marked with at least 12 points that are unique to every human. Humans are not born good. On a contrary. One does whatever it takes to survive. The babies lost in the jungle and raised by animals can not be brought back to the human condition. And a normal human born and raised in a normal family develops an attraction toward spiritual dimensions. I believe that in a study about human condition the inclination toward religion can not be ignored.

Anne Mayne

The interview was fascinating. I need to watch it again because though it is very clearly communicated it’s dense and one needs to develop a new way of thinking. Being a white South African and living in the most violent country in the world it’s hard to feel loving towards fellow humans. One would rather practice target shooting to try to ensure one lives out one’s natural life span. I come from a very un-nurturing family background and as a teenager I used to watch troops of baboons on the mountains and I was enchanted by the loving care the mothers gave their babies and the happiness and mischiefness of the babies, none of them ever cried! Dogs were also my role models because they were so genuine and honest though not always gentle. My family on the other hand were manipulative, phoney and violent. “Home” was far from a safe place to grow up in. The convent school was weird that told us we were sinners and needed to be constantly penitent and plead for redemption, we were made to feel rotten inside. So Jeremy Griffiths talk is like water in the desert! Thank you for your brilliant research and determination to spread the knowledge!

WTM Admin

Thank you for your openness Anne and your positive feedback. The human condition has certainly caused so much unbearable suffering it has been a deeply tragic reality. Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation finally provides the key understanding that unravels the core mystery behind human behaviour, thus ending this suffering and conflict at its source.     For instance in terms of the utterly horrific situation in South Africa, without the explanation of the human condition it is insoluble, but astonishingly, what you will discover is that this understanding (specifically, that humans have an innocent past, and without being able to understand why, the longer we have been involved in the search for knowledge, the more we corrupted it, and the incredible shame we have felt over that) does explain and resolve such horror. This key, compassionate insight that upset is not ‘bad’ allows us to reconcile the more upset with the less upset, which puts an end to all prejudices and oppression, see FAQ 9.1 about racism for example.     Also with regard to religious doctrine, with the human condition explained we can understand the more upset people became, the more they needed to try to obey the ‘Godly’ ideals of life that religions taught, but the problem was such condemnation of upset behaviour could be extremely terrorising and oppressive. Obviously what was desperately missing was reconciling understanding of our upset behaviour and the Godly ideals; reconciling understanding of the human condition in fact—which is exactly what Jeremy presents us with. So no longer does anybody have to be terrorised by religious dogma. They can understand what such religious doctrine was providing (even though it could be hurtful) and the great role religions played in humanity’s journey (see FAQ 6.3 about understanding religion).

Cindy Cecil

I believe this is amazing, and absolutely needs to be known world wide bc we all suffer and need to find our inner peace and to become one ..,united

James Jubb

Human kind,by definition is parasitic. We consume all in our path. Yet God has created infinity for us explore.....?

WTM Admin

As is explained in Part 1 of THE Interview, humans’ selfish or ‘parasitic’ behaviour is not a product of unchangeable savage animal instincts within us, but the result of a universal psychosis caused by a clash between our instinct and intellect, and significantly since a psychosis can be healed with understanding, human behaviour is not unchangeable or immutable – a revelation that transforms the human race. For a nutshell explanation of the human condition see FAQ 1.3.

I have learned so much from Jeremy’s research and writings and I’m sharing with as many others as possible. “Freedom” and I highly recommend it ❤️‍🩹.

Sascha Gross

I’ve been crying my heart out several times while watching this interview. I’m a biologist with some basic knowledge in Psychology. Recently, I’ve been through some psychological trouble (again). While working with a life-coach I’ve been analyzing myself through the eyes of Freud and I’ve basically independently come to the same conclusions as suggested by Jeremy. I felt that the inner conflict just is a consequence of our nature, but I couldn’t understand why. Now I know and I finally have peace. Thank you Jeremy from the depth of my heart.

Adam Jackson

Would like to hear more!

WTM Admin

To investigate Jeremy Griffith’s treatise further we recommend our Introductory Video Series and also his definitive book FREEDOM which are all freely available on our homepage HumanCondition.com.

Carol Ann

I too am a scientist, physicist, however over the last few years I have been forming a more psychological understanding of this. I had an understanding that peace is achieved when we align our subconscious with our conscience mind. I believe future peace, worldwide, is achieved when the majority are in this state. Thank you for your biological explanation

Lee Kovalskyj

I would hope your efforts towards providing a ‘psychological rehabilitation of the human species’ includes answers to solving the Climate Crisis, the growing gap between the haves and have-nots, and a looming WW III. Without solutions to such there seems to be no future worth living for our species - whether we’ve been rehabilitated or not.

WTM Admin

Thank you Lee. As Professor Harry Prosen, former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, has said about the plight of the world that ‘the fastest growing realization everywhere is that humanity can’t go on the way it is going. Indeed, the great fear is we’re entering endgame where we appear to have lost the race between self-destruction and self-understanding.’ The point he is making is that we need answers, especially about ourselves, and we need them urgently. As is explained in FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding the human condition solve everything?’, “While issues such as the environment have dominated concerns in recent times, the obvious truth is that we have only been focusing on the symptoms; everything to date has been nothing more than a band-aid. All the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by us humans. We are the ones who are egocentric, selfish, greedy, materialistic, fake, angry as hell. And so it’s that underlying issue — our destructively behaved, so-called human condition — that really has to be addressed and fixed if we are to solve the world’s problems.” So to save our world, we need to address the cause of the all the problems we face – whether they be climate change, inequality, or geopolitical aggression – and that cause is the human condition and that is what Jeremy Griffith has addressed and solved, and that is why his work is heralded as being able to save the world.

Excellent thinking about chaos nowdays, very bad times all over the world!

Richard

What does Griffith have to say about EO Wilson’s multilevel selection which also explains “good and evil” in humans?

WTM Admin

Wilson’s theory of Multilevel Selection suggests that humans have selfless and selfish instincts and that the conscious mind is an innocent arbiter, torn between the two. In his definitive book FREEDOM, chapter 2:11 Jeremy Griffith comprehensively addresses this theory, explaining that it “not only contrives an explanation for our genuinely moral instincts, but takes the art of denial to the absolute extreme by contriving a non-human-condition-confronting explanation of the human condition itself!…the Multilevel Selection theory for eusociality misrepresents, in fact, avoids, the real, consciousness-derived, psychological aspect of the human condition.” Explanation of the human condition presents a massive paradigm shift in our thinking so we encourage you to read FREEDOM, especially chapter 2.

I love this. Quite honestly I agree with a better part of this.

Natasha O Shaughnessy

Very much along the lines of the work done by Gary Zukav even thinking back to the Celestine Prophecy and many works on Energy and a Frequency medicine. Excellent thinking here.

WTM Admin

We suggest that as you keep absorbing THE Interview, and the material on our website, you will appreciate the huge distinction between Jeremy Griffith’s and that of Gary Zukav and James Redfield. Understanding the human condition is the great unlocking point in the human journey of conscious thought and enquiry and its resolution leads, at last, to the real basis for personal and global transformation. While the New Age movement, and its proponents like Zukav and Redfield, focus on teaching us to restrain and transcend the reality of our anger, alienation and selfish egocentricity, the obvious truth is we needed to resolve it at its source and that is the great breakthrough Jeremy’s work presents. We are thinking beings, we need brain food not brain anaesthetic; we needed answers for our conscious thinking mind, without that all else is ultimately futile. We recommend reading Freedom Essay 63: ‘Pseudo Therapy/Healing’, which explains that there are many approaches that seek to heal and therapise human psychoses but they are all coming from an extremely dishonest and superficial, human-condition-avoiding, pseudo therapising angle; and Freedom Essay 64: ‘Real Therapy/Healing’, which presents the human-condition-confronting, honest, true, genuinely effective therapy/healing that understanding of the human condition now makes possible.

Is generational wealth product of deep psychosis or liberated thinking? Also would like to understand is holocaust product of instincts or conscious thinking?

WTM Admin

In THE Interview Jeremy explains that all humans are born with loving moral instincts but we all now variously suffer from a psychosis due to the human condition that manifests in angry, egocentric and alienated behaviour; so our selfishness, our need to seek material validation, was an unavoidable consequence of humans’ necessary search for self-knowledge not the product of “liberated thinking”. We, in effect, have had to smother ourselves with material glory while we lacked the spiritual glory of compassionate understanding of ourselves.     And tragically, that psychosis has, in the extreme, produced psychopathic behaviour, as seen in your example of the holocaust. Of course this breakthrough explanation doesn’t condone or sanction the horrendous atrocities humans can commit (what historically has been termed ‘evil’) rather, through bringing compassionate understanding to the source of humans’ upset behaviour, it gives us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate it (see FAQ 4.2 How does this rehabilitate ‘evil’). In his definitive book FREEDOM (chapter 8) Jeremy Griffith explains our excessively egocentric psychopathic behaviour (see especially chapter 8:16D).     And we might add that once this information gets a foothold through enough people developing a deep appreciation and desire to support it, the selfless love and energy that will generate will solve our problems very quickly because instead of being preoccupied with the accumulation of wealth, power, fame, etc, all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world.

Mary Ann Abueme

Nice explanation

I would love to hear more!

Gary Powell

This is the behaviour for the humans living in the Maya (the illusion) of western life. If everyone followed the spiritual teachings of Buddhism which is not a religion that believes in a God but a belief that God is within you and living without anger, greed, envy, ego is the way to live, this would be a solution

WTM Admin

While Buddhism contains all manner of truths about human life, it is coming from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless, why are we so angry, egocentric, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. What Jeremy is putting forward is that for there to be a fundamental “solution” to our human situation we had to understand the human condition – humans’ capacity for good and evil – from a biological perspective.

Zamokuhle

We owe it to the human race to correct the human condition to be loving, cooperative and good. Thank you Mr Griffith

WTM Admin

Thank you for your comment, Zamokuhle. Yes, it has been a heroic journey for the human race to find this liberating understanding of the human condition that allows us to legitimately return to a selfless, loving and cooperative way of living, so it’s imperative this world-saving information is shared far and wide.     To investigate Jeremy Griffith’s treatise further we recommend our Introductory Video Series and also his definitive book FREEDOM which are all freely available on our homepage HumanCondition.com. We also recommend you join our Facebook Group and register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith as there is so much helpful and practical discussion taking place there about this immensely redeeming and relieving knowledge!

Sylvie-Marguerite Lauchlan

This revelation is so out of bound from what we thought we knew...so should watch it again. As for now I am somewhat confounded, elated, enlightened and delighted to know that someone (JEREMY) has finally so profoundly decorticated the Human Condition. There is hope for us still if we consciously study this prenominal concept.

Nancy Anderson

Extraordinary lecture series which filled my brain with countless new thoughts and information. Profound in its content which forces me to watch it again ;-) Jeremy Griffith MUST win the Nobel Prize

Andrikos Alexandrou

This is so true and accurate. I would like to read the book 💪🏻

Kking

Inspiring - thank you. Now tell the world and those who make major decisions on our lives please.

Tamra B.D.

I consider myself a Christian. I find your findings INCREDIBLY insightful. I will always believe there is God, Jesus and Satan. Nevertheless, the fact is dogma continues to fail, to a maddening degree, to take into account proven psychological and medical facts of the “human condition”. Well done, Dr. Bravo

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition at last reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. But rather than threatening religions, what people discover is it is the fulfilment of a time that all the great prophets looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves. His work simply brings biological understanding to religion’s pre-scientific descriptions of our condition (see our FAQs about religion).

Unite Nhyerere

Brilliant

Carl Nelson

I found it very refreshing. I thought, like billions of others, how can we all break away from being controlled by so few, hell bent on greed and power. Thank you. Maybe now the world can stand united.

WTM Admin

Thanks Carl, it’s wonderful to have your interest in this world-unifying and saving understanding of the human condition. Yes, many have asked your question, and as with any new scientific breakthrough in history it will take time to gain mainstream acceptance, and from there “break through” the bastions of power in the world. But the good news is that interest and support is rapidly growing, as evidenced by the ecstatic responses and the Commendations listed on our homepage, and the number of new World Transformation Movement (WTM) centres opening around the world. We recommend reading our FAQ 1.40, which addresses your question directly: ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power?’.

Sheryl Hinds

Jeremy’s ideas echoed how I have always felt humanity could and should be. However, I have to admit, after seeing the abuse of power in politics and corporate business, I had begun to doubt my feelings about what I believed. I wanted to change to become better. I had this wish about just being able to be my kind and loving self and perhaps others would not see me as weak. Interestingly, I am now surrounded by hundreds of beautiful people whose agendas are love based. But how does Jeremy’s ideas apply to those who would rather stay in their corrupt ways and continue their abuse? How does this stop Putin? Or other terrorists?

WTM Admin

We suggest that the more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, Sheryl, the more you will realise how accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset, which in the extreme, produces people, even dictators and terrorists, who are addicted to having power over others; see our FAQ 4.2 ‘How does this rehabilitate what we historically term ‘evil’’. Your questions are also addressed in FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. Fundamentally, having found the good, indeed heroic, reason that we had to defy our instincts means all our defensive, ‘bad’ behaviours (our insecurity, anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant. This is the essence of the transformation that this breakthrough makes available.

Richard Murphy

I don’t get it. I do not see any debate about how human’s deal with a situation of limited and insufficient resources. This is a very common source of human conflict - how does the thinking here solve the problem of human conflict arising from a shortage of resources ?

WTM Admin

We suggest that the more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, the more you will realise how realistic and accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset. As THE Interview explains we have completely loving and selfless instincts, and that our greed and conflict isn’t the product of limited resources, but a psychosis resulting from a clash between our emerging conscious mind and those pre-established instincts. Selfishness, which is what fighting over resources is, is a symptom of the underlying, deep insecurity in humans caused by the human condition, so if we solve that condition we resolve any problems over resources. Solving the human condition meant answering the essential question of why, when the ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish? It is this question of questions that Jeremy has solved with his explanation. To quote FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solve everything’: “So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race.”

Explanation of the human condition does produce a huge paradigm shift so it takes a little while to see how it all works but as Part 4 of THE Interview explains, now the human condition is solved, we can legitimately return to a selfless way of living — so selflessness is how we transform the world! Certainly there is habituation to overcome, but all of Jeremy Griffith’s writings on this Transformed way of living, explains how real change is immediately open to us all. This is summarised in FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 and Freedom Essay 15 ‘How our lives can be immediately transformed’ and our Transformation section of our website is brimming with invaluable insight and personal affirmations as to the ‘how to’. Also FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ may be most helpful.

The Tree of knowledge, we have interpreted it wrong all along. We are All Good people. Thank you for the video may everyone stumble on this interview and watch it....what a light it has brought to my thinking and understanding of Human condition.

WTM Admin

Yes, we can now understand that humans were ‘good’, even heroic, to search for knowledge, even though it caused us to become psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated sufferers of the human condition. As Jeremy says in Part 1 of THE Interview, “‘No, no, that story got it wrong’. Adam and Eve are actually not just good but the heroes of the whole story of life on Earth.”

The greatest need is to world leaders

Rajkumar Dham

Jointly with Professor Dr Krishna Swamy ji of the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore have developed BMP ( Body Mind Programming) as a New Paradigm for Self Transformation. Our work got published as a book Create Your Own Future Through Body Mind Programming by Life Positive Books in 2015 .Very Happy to see your video

WTM Admin

Thank you Rajkumar for your comment. We maintain, as THE Interview explains, for us to be able to truly transform ourselves and therefore the world we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book definitive FREEDOM. You may find this FAQ 1.13 of interest which explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work.

Great tools Jeremy. Truth, is greatfor allll. One thing people like Hawkins who said he proved there was no GOD. A man genius of even statistics, never seem to take into account the many religions past- present and thier many followers? They( the many) seem so greatly to out number the unbelievers. The ether,(nothing) had it’s origin as well (created) by GOD(Jesus) Colossians 1:16-17. And Armageddon will be a realistic event, as well as his second coming, the savior of the human condition you have so elegantly and courageous described. Love you and thank you for that work. Seek him while he may be found, for that day comes when at his appearing as a thief comes in the night that none does know. And,as the Lion of Judah not the lamb of the Christ to rule and reign forever more. Give him the praise and the glory now please don’t wait...to serve him in giving up science because you have found him, he is alive. You ask me how I know he lives? He lives inside my heart, he is the way the truth and life! He is the science...he is science. Much love Jeremy, thanks be to GOD for you and your predecessors. Maybe one day humanity will be allowed into the heavenlies. But, I doubt that seriously, they don’t deserve us. Not for many reasons. Eden is where Jesus said the sinful repentive man would be with him... paradiso. Eden! Much love 🙏 🌎 ✌️ 💕 🕊️

Nice should be taught to christians and all religions

Hi, listened to this opinion for a while and decided not to bother with the rest. His or our human condition started with our genetic upgrade shown in our dna . In a sound bite “know thee the nature of the word or be shepherded by it “, the real world is a word based reality , word association. Lol Cheers Dave the most mighty master of mysteries etc etc lol.

Jennifer O'Banion

I’ve heard about the biological research regarding the chimps vs. Bonobos and their relation to our DNA, but I thought humans took after the chimps DNA more than the other. Explaining why humans are so violent. Do I have that backwards? 🤔

WTM Admin

Thanks for your question Jennifer. Humans share approximately 98.7% of our DNA with both the common chimpanzees and bonobos. However, evidence reveals that on the basis of physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, that the cooperative and gentle bonobo represents a far better model of our human ancestors than the chimpanzee (the evidence is presented in detail in chapter 5 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM). Reduced canine size is particularly relevant as it is a defining features of the hominin clade, and universally accepted as an indication of reduced aggression (of all the non-human primates, bonobos have the smallest canines). All this evidence has lead the prominent anthropologist C. Owen Lovejoy to write that “our species-defining cooperative mutualism can now be seen to extend well beyond the deepest Pliocene [well beyond 5.3 mya]”.     Moreover, as THE Interview explains, the argument that our behaviour is dictated by survival or selfish genes or DNA was just a convenient excuse while we searched for the psychosis-addressing-and-solving real explanation of our divisive behaviour. This critical new science does present a huge paradigm shift in our thinking which takes a little time to fully absorb so we do suggest people re-watch THE Interview and then watch our Introductory Video Series, with videos 1 – 4 & 14 being key, (all free on our homepage).

Great and hope all read the book, wishfull thinking

WTM Admin

As with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it will take time for people to realise that this is the breakthrough we’ve all been wishing and waiting for, but as support and momentum continues to build, the selfless love and energy it generates will solve our problems very quickly; it won’t be “wishfull thinking”, but the actual fulfilment of that hope. As Part 4 of THE Interview explains instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. See See FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’ and FAQ 1.40, which addresses the questions of ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world?’

Cultures, particularly Indigenous ones, with a long period of continuity have avoided a significant amount of this inner disturbance - they chose more of a middle way between the two paths and so should be looked to as guides for the antidotes we need. The metaphor of the stork could be seen as a metaphor for European history that has been more turbulent and violent than the Americas & Australia for eg. The ancient shift to settled agriculture forms the basis of the disturbances referred to here - reflected in the tale of Cain and Abel, our connection to nature & its relationship to the senses and to the psyche & chemical balance of the individual that co-evolved with the rhythms of nature where now at a remove from that original balance that we have drifted further away from.

WTM Admin

The central tenet of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is that humans have a cooperative, loving instinctive heritage, not a brutish, savage and aggressive one, and that the source of our aggression is a psychosis that has been compounding ever since the instinct and intellect clashed some 2 million years ago. (It was not the movement into an agrarian lifestyle as thinker such as Marx have suggested; that development simply compounded the already accumulating upset by enabling greater populations able to live in sedentary, higher density environments.) It follows then that the further back in history we go, the less psychologically upset a race of people will be, and so the more cooperative, loving and in touch with the natural world they will be – and we can see evidence of this in existing ‘primitive’ races of people, such as in indigenous cultures, as you have identified. So the explanation for their indigenous peoples’ lack of ‘inner disturbance’ is that they are relatively innocent compared with other races; however, it needs to pointed out that even so-called ‘primitive’ races are still members of the extremely upset stage of humanity, H. sapiens sapiens, so they are still psychologically upset angry egocentric and alienated.

The bible is just a story, we must learn from it. LOVE IS THE ANSWER!! Very interesting, everyone should read the book FREEDOM, from Jeremy Griffith! Thank you!!🙏🏻💕

WTM Admin

Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s work brings biological understanding to all those concepts contained in the Bible, which he acknowledges throughout his work as being a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-scientific view. And although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, all-loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being briefly explained in THE Interview as the personification of the integrative meaning of existence. We recommend our FAQs about religion especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.

Jeremy Griffith ought to be made candidate for the Nobel peace prize of 2022. His conclusion on The Human Condition is similar to the parables of Lord Jesus Christ. Make him candidate for Nobel Peace prize of 2022. His research is breathtaking. As peace makers we can all become children of God. Please spread his free book to as many people possible. Thank you!
