The law of cause and effect produces Authentic love, power, self worth, meaning of life which in turn 6th sensory being. This is amazing! Thank you.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your feedback Micheline. At last with understanding of the human condition we can understand what produced our all-loving instinctive self or soul and why it was necessary, indeed heroic, to corrupt our soul in order to champion our fully conscious mind and find understanding of cause and effect. What is so exciting is now our fundamental self worth along with the integrative meaning of life (see FAQ 5.3) is biologically explained we can legitimately return to our authentic loving self. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it, see FAQ 6.5.

There doesn’t seem to be much insight here. I have always believed Mans problem is we are born into a world as equal with others of the superior race and then realise we are not and we are frustrated where we have ended up and unable to easily change our situation because it relys on other to facilitate it but their competitive nature means they won’t assist. You won’t change anyone’s psychological state with changing their life which is very difficult.

Frederick Oleson

Thank you for sharing this in a time when clarification is so hard to find.

Dustin Bell

I’ve been saying that the whole of humanity was sick for a long time, and all need some form of dialectical therapy. We all need a reality-based explanation of existence and how we ought to behave. Deception is wielded as honor in competition, and grace in cooperation.

WTM Admin

Yes, as THE Interview explains, all humans suffer from the universal psychosis caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. As a species, we became angry, egocentric and alienated, or in a word ‘upset’ so all humans, to varying degrees, suffer from the human condition. As the highly respected psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, wrote: “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from…It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.” (FAQ 1.34).

I am very astonished by what I am listening about the human condition. It is very interesting what Mr. Griffith has discovered. And would be following many of his videos. I am very intrigued.

Linda paulk

I’ve always had and interest in human behavior. I’d love to see more videos.

WTM Admin

Hi Linda, thank you for your interest. It also includes registering for our free, live events with Jeremy Griffith and others and joining our popular Facebook Group where there is much fascinating discussion and interaction.

Debbie Walsh

I can’t make sense of this but really want to understand please simplify for the people who don’t understand

WTM Admin

Hi Debbie, while great care has been taken to present the explanation as succinctly and simply as possible (which is done in Part 1 of THE Interview), opening up the human condition does mean that there are several absolutely critical questions to be answered (Parts 2, 3 & 4). We do recommend looking at the main introductory videos near the top of our homepage as you’ll see many of those videos are short in length while explaining all the key concepts in Jeremy Griffith’s world-saving, human-condition-solving treatise, specifically Video 3 which is a 14-minute presentation of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation. You may also find helpful FAQ 1.16 ‘Why can’t I understand what this is all about?’.

Annette miles

Brilliant information. Needs to be shared. x

Barbara

Thank you for this presentation. Certainly there is much to absorb. My Faith is the foundation of my life. Listening to your studied interpretations of our human condition, actually fortified the understanding of Gods’ messages and guidance gleaned from the Bible. God is love. Following Jesus is the way. The scientific explanation marries well with that, in my understanding. I will repeat listening.

WTM Admin

Thank you, Barbara. Yes, as the Nobel prize-winning physicist Charles H. Townes recognised, science and religion “both represent man’s efforts to understand his universe and must ultimately be dealing with the same substance. As we understand more in each realm, the two must grow together…converge they must.” And this is what Jeremy Griffith’s work does. It reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to religion’s pre-scientific descriptions of our condition (see our FAQs about religion).

Wayne Davis

Clear concise explanation of why we should cooperate rather than compete with each other and why we have found it difficult to so so until now.

Thank you Lord for having me lived this long to learn about this wonderful healing words. Thank you so very much Mr. Griffith

Bobby w Johnson jr

Extraordinary theory, one of the most interesting hypothesis I’ve ever heard. But first and foremost it is only a theory. However I am very interested in hearing more.( The Human Condition) Amazing and addictive to listen to. I’ve personally spent hours and hours listening to it over and over. WOW !! Great work .The reality of ( everything ) making the comprehension of life easy to understand. Enthusiasticly believable. Thank you for sharing.

Ken

You are so basic. If your only answer is the physical/animal, you are only dealing with the surface stuff. We can’t get a true understanding without factoring in the lower or higher spirt within. Understanding that we have to include fixing the mind and body also.

WTM Admin

Hi Ken, we suggest that the more you digest this scientific explanation of our condition, the more you will see that it actually encompasses the ‘spiritual’ dimension of life. We thought you might find of interest FAQ 6.7 on ‘How can a scientific explanation ever hope to account for and encompass the great ‘spiritual’ dimension we know exists in life? / Isn’t ‘spirituality’ beyond a purely rational explanation?’

Barbara Whiting

There is nothing more welcome than this fabulous explanation! The Advancement Center’s prime focus is to remember who and what we truly are.

WTM Admin

Great to have your interest, Barbara. Yes, it is astonishing to finally have the human condition solved, our existence made sense of and be able to legitimately return to our natural loving, true state. To do this science had to answer the crux question of why when the universal ideals are to be loving and selfless are we so competitive and selfish? This is what biologist Jeremy Griffith has answered with his ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation and why it is heralded as the biological breakthrough that can save the world (FAQ 6.5 explains the critical difference between Jeremy’s work and the New Age Movement).

Marieta Swart

Very interesting and valuable talk

Terry

Why are the humans always the ones to blame if we have been programed..?

Herman Combs

Amazing

WTM Admin

Terry, what you will find as you digest this more, is that Jeremy Griffith’s breakthrouh explanation of the human condition actually removes the ‘blame’. This understanding defends our so-called ‘dark side’ and explains that despite all appearances to the contrary, all humans are ‘good’. And paradoxically, by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to end the perpetuation of our destructive behaviour!

Brooke

This looks like the answer, please share, thank you very much, BF Alexander

Danny Tjongarero

The world will be a better place indeed. This should be compulsory worldwide.

JANE PRICE

For years I have tried to understand the evil in our world...wars.. corruption...basic lack of good child rearing...greed...but I recognize I have those traits and feel the conflict in my head...I hope to gain insight into why we daily fight our own minds. So far it’s very enlightening.

WTM Admin

Take your time Jane - it is a huge new paradigm. But you will continue to find that the instinct vs intellect clash is the key to explaining all our insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation, and most importantly, through finally identifying and explaining that source, peace is brought to the whole human condition. As Professor Harry Prosen wrote about Jeremy’s work, “What Griffith is presenting is understanding of the source insecurity that the whole human race suffers from for having destroyed our species’ innocent soul. It is a universal self-blame that his understanding at last provides healing insight into. All human behavior is saturated with that universal insecure, depressing state and resulting anger, egocentricity and alienation that has developed from it, but we finally have the compassionate foundation insight needed to dismantle all that ‘upset’/psychosis. So the real psychotherapy of our collective and individual psychoses can begin.” (You can read more from Professor Prosen in FAQ 1.34.)

Share far and wide so people start to understand ✨️ 🙂

Anthony

Have you ever heard of god delusion?

WTM Admin

We assume you are referring to the 2006 book The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins that argues belief in God is not just wrong but potentially harmful. As Jeremy Griffith’s Freedom Essay 41 titled ‘Is science’s scorn of religion legitimate?’ explains many scientists scorn religion but despite the disdain prominent mechanistic scientists like Dawkins have for it, now that we have the true, human-condition-confronting scientific explanation of the human condition, we can appreciate just how profound religious descriptions of the human condition were! As the Nobel prize-winning physicist Charles H. Townes said, “They [science and religion] both represent man’s efforts to understand his universe and must ultimately be dealing with the same substance. As we understand more in each realm, the two must grow together… converge they must.”     So Jeremy Griffith’s work actually reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life, see FAQ 5.3 and FAQ 1.15.

Dawn Kawa

I understand that at birth there is only the effect on a human that it’s experienced so far in the womb, and form there the human condition starts what it sees hears and feels , tastes ect.... Therefore the people raising that child conditions that person?

WTM Admin

Hi Dawn, yes, our parents have a very large effect on our levels of psychological upset, as do our encounters with the upset that is already in the wider-world. As Jeremy explains in ‘Aspect 1’ of his new book Our Meaning, “As a result of our species’ cooperative and all-loving heritage we are each born into the world instinctively expecting it to be all-loving and all-sensitive, but instead we encounter a massively upset and upsetting world. And the more upset the world has become, the more horrifying and thus psychologically corrupting of our innocence during our formative years the upset is. It was a very compounding situation, which has led to the extremely psychologically upset state of emerging generations today.” You might also be interested in FAQ 1.37 ‘How much of our upset is caused by our own search for knowledge and how much is caused by the accumulated upset already in the world?’

Ari

I have purchased hard copy of Freedom. When will your books be available on audible?

WTM Admin

Hi Ari, audios, and many other formats, of Jeremy Griffith’s key books (including FREEDOM) are available HERE on our homepage. Just click ‘Get your copy for FREE!’ to see all the formats and translations that are available. We are still in the process of completing the audiobook of FREEDOM, however chapters 1-4 are now available, although will not be available on Audible until all the chapters are recorded. Hopefully that is done this year. We whould also mention that all the audios of most of our books, essays and videos, are now in the WTM App (which you can download for free and there is no sign in required at App Store or Google Play) and on Spotify.

Ari

Is there a study/work group in NE Seattle?

WTM Admin

Awesome

Elizabeth Pinchen

I have often argued on Facebook that humanity wouldn’t have survived many climate disasters without being caring & co-operative instead of being selfishly combative. Blessed be, Jeremy Griffith for proving the real cause of the so-called “human condition”. No religion necessary, only scientific proof!

Delores Sipples

I’m delighted to hear this about the human condition. Humans need to turn from their destructive behavior,,we need to turn to save mankind from total madness. Thank you for your words, support and knowledge!!

Edith Hertz

Absolutely wonderful and true. Thank you. I myself have follow the teachings of the ancient Eastern philosophy. Conscious mind, subconscious mind. We are all souls living in a human body and we are all connected. One mind. One consciousness. Everything is connected in the universe. We are all one. We the soul never dies, only the body does.

WTM Admin

While Eastern philosophy (and various religions aroudn the world) contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.

Getahew Tefera

It indicates our situation that we are going through our life. As God created us in his plan, image and likeness, we are not living the best life. We human, we are in great moral crisis, social crisis, So it will be great solution for our problem the freedom book. God bless you to give us this book by relating Science with the bible that we can apply in our life to save our corrupted soul

WTM Admin

Thank you very much for your comment, Getahew. For onlookers we thought it helpful to include our FAQ 1.15 ‘If this is biology why are there religious references’. This explains the human condition is the realm of inquiry where science and religion overlap, so naturally in explaining the human condition religious references will be used, and through scientific explanation, finally demystified and reconciled. The acclaimed physicist Charles H. Townes summed up this ultimate reconciliation of science and religion best when he wrote, “they [science and religion] both represent man’s efforts to understand his universe and must ultimately be dealing with the same substance. As we understand more in each realm, the two must grow together…converge they must.”

Digger Martin

Thanks for all your knowledge

Fantastic

Tony Stuckless

I see what he is talking about. Humans have always been searching for a better way. I don’t know if you ditch God or not but the concept here is sound. I do disagree on identifying the problem leads to revelation and a new way of life. Irregardless of why, the Human race has lived with free will and our intellect for a very long time. Our history is stained red on just about every page of history. I am a mild mannered 62 yr old man so how do we get a whole planet to buy in here? There is much good in Man and there is that desire to learn, to know, to have, to take. All of this doesn’t switch off. This is a paradigm shift of thought. If you and i embrace this and are now free in our mind, then this does not save us or our planet. Explain this to dictators and if you are not shot it would be a miracle. Do I go to Ukraine or Sudan and preach this to those on the battle field? Again, I expect to be shot. We are very self centered in how we think. Some dangerously so. Others do their part to make the world a better place. I fail to see how any of this saves us. I will read more but essentially our saviors in this scenario are ourselves. Humanity on a nation scale understands money and power. If I do this and do a sit in anywhere that affects people they will think I am nuts. Enough for now.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your considered comment, Tony. It’s great to have your interest and please do read more because we suggest that the more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, the more you will realise how accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset, which in the extreme, produces people, even dictators, who are addicted to having power over others. Your questions are specifically addressed in FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ And as with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it will take time for people to realise that this is the breakthrough we’ve all been waiting for, but as support and momentum continues to build, the selfless love and energy it generates will solve our problems very quickly. Instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in the world; see our FAQs 1.4 – 1.6 about how this transformation works.     And lastly, Jeremy’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God it simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being briefly explained in THE Interview as being the integrative meaning of existence. We recommend our FAQs about religion, especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.

Steven O'Dell

Obedience to the first two commandments would change the world and we would all be happier. It’s really that simple.

WTM Admin

Hi Steven, religions could only manage our upset (e.g., the Ten Commandments) and give us comfort, which was important while the corrupting journey to find understanding of the human condition took place, but ultimately without science the human condition could never actually be solved and that destructive behaviour brought to an end. Understanding the source of our upset angry, egocentric and alienated (what religions have termed ‘sinful’) behaviour required knowledge of genes and nerves, namely why our conscious mind had to search for knowledge and why our instincts could not help but criticise that search – which is because nerves are insightful, whereas genes are not. With that key piece of knowledge found by Jeremy Griffith, the whole human condition ends, we no longer have to be defiant – our angry egocentric and alienated defiance is redundant, and thus so is the need for the imposition of discipline such as the Commandments.

Bishnu Parajuli

Yes. This is very special information and awareness. Thanks.

Trueseeker

Lmao wow so backwards you have no understanding of the truth do real research

Greg MacGillivray

Brilliant to have the scientific support for what we know in our hearts is true: connection builds community - add some compassion (love in action) - and together, we build humanity.

peter james sturgeon

I have always known humans are corrupted from the original form but also such may have been allowed to happen akin to a necessary evil, until a better outcome, given things could have been a lot worse?

WTM Admin

That is a very good snapshot summary Peter. Yes, we can now understand that the journey to find knowledge has been corrupting (it made us psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated), however, we can also understand that it was absolutely necessary if we were ever to master the marvelous potential of our self-adjusting conscious minds. That is why Jeremy describes humans as the most heroic beings imaginable; we had to be prepared to ‘march into hell for a heavenly cause’!

Patricia -US

A+ Presentation by Mr. Jeremy Griffith. I hope Mr. Griffith can dialogue with Daisaku Ikeda, “Become the master of one’s mind, rather than let one’s, mind master oneself” Human Revolution is real. Understanding the Human Condition is real. As humans, we are wiser than our ancestors. We must take custody of our lives first, by understanding the human condition and putting it into daily practice. Bravo, Mr. J. Griffith

WTM Admin

Yes, understanding the Human Condition is real! Our endeavours in philosophy, psychology and biology have failed, until now, to provide a truthful, real, fully accountable, genuinely clarifying explanation. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ and Video/Freedom Essay 4 which expands further on other thinkers (both ancient and contemporary) who have recognised instinct and intellect elements involved in creating the human condition.

Mahasin McIntosh

I BELIEVE This Truth. Loving every minute of it.

Tony Heath

Wow open up the mind!

Jose S. New Zealand

True, honest , clear explanation Thanks for sharing Perhaps somehow we can save and improve our behavior

WTM Admin

Thanks Jose. Part 4 of THE Interview, titled ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’, presents the answer to how this understanding allows us to transform our lives. It explains that it will take a number of generations for the upset within us to be completely healed but it also stresses importantly we can be immediately free of its effects. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. FAQ 1.40 addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

Ms.Shagufta Hamid-Khan

Amazingly meaningful..

Ms.Shagufta Hamid-khan.

This is an amazing explanation which definitely makes sense.Thank you Jeremy for sharing your knowledge.

Maria O’Connor

This gentleman is recognising the behaviour of all people, up to, and including the period during which the Goddess was the primary Deity, and society was matriarchal. This was a time of peace, and mutual co-operation for the benefit of all. The abominable behaviour of MANkind began when men wrested power from women, the primary deity became male, and society became patriarchal. This is even evident in the placement of dwellings. During the matriarchal period, the primary concern was the beauty of the chosen site; during the patriarchal period the primary concern became to defend dwellings from attack, as the population became warlike. Now, still in a patriarchal society, the motivation is greed and acquisitiveness. Patriarchy is so ingrained in our teachings, from the earliest age, that anyone who tries to remind others that there was another way, and could be again, immediately becomes an object of ridicule and hatred. Well done to this particular man for speaking out.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your thoughts Maria. What is so astonishing is that with explanation of the human condition we can at last understand and reconcile the huge gulf that has existed between men and women. We can also understand why men especially, but also women, suffer from the human condition and all it’s related “abominable” behaviours including selfishness, greed and egocentricity, but that despite this we are all equally good and equally heroic!     THE Interview explains the great significance of humanity’s matriarchal heritage; that women’s maternalism or nurturing is what made us human—that it was gave us our moral soul and created humanity no less which is absolutely fascinating biology! (for more see FAQ 5.2 and 5.6). However with this understanding it can now be appreciated that when the ignorance of our instinctive self of our conscious thinking self’s need to search for knowledge posed a threat to humanity, it was men in their historic role of group protector who took on the role of “defending” against or resisting that threat, leaving women out of the upsetting battle to preserve as much upset-free, loving innocence as possible to nurture the next generation. This meant that when this upsetting battle against our instincts began after the emergence of consciousness some 2 million years ago, the nurturing matriarchal or female-centric priority that created our altruistic moral instincts and a cooperative humanity, was superseded in importance by a patriarchal world. At last we can look deeper and appreciate the magnificent contributions each gender has made to the human journey. And significantly, through explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive upset behaviours, allowing us at last to become genuinely gender neutral. We highly recommend our FAQ 8.1 ‘How does the explanation of the human condition reconcile men and women?'

Peter Brian Nairn

Thankyou, very interesting. Reward has fueled the condition, Neverending reward has perpetuated this troubled condition to extreme, Turmoil is rampet and ongoing while reward of money and property etc. Very liberating to put awareness in a now shiney box and not a guilt box. PN

WTM Admin

Yes our liberation depends on awareness or understanding of our fundamental goodness as a species and this explanation establishes that we humans are good and not bad after all so it is definitely a shiney future on the way! There is a lot to consider Peter but we can now know that a conflict between our intellect and our cooperative instincts led to an undeserved sense of guilt and insecurity that caused us to become psychologically angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. Proving we were better than someone else gave us validation and reinforcement to counter the deep insecurity we felt about having to become self-corrupted. And so competition, sustained by the rewards of materialism and capitalism, are what maintained humanity’s heroic search for knowledge, ultimately for self-knowledge. With our goodness and worth now biologically established, we no longer need to be preoccupied with proving our goodness and worth. Solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source so we can actually stop the destruction of ourselves and save the world, see FAQ 1.6.

Deborah Scripps

Very interesting & intelligent

Claudette Nadeau

I fell upon this interview about 2 wks, I believe not by accident. One is drawn back to the material almost instinctively. The deaf effect is very real, but soon the veil begins to be lifted, little by little. All one really needs is the smallest sliver of willingness to look squarely at the darkness, knowing deep within my being that the fight can truly end. There is no need for forgiveness any longer, it’s just not necessary. Jeremy has put forth such a gift, freedom from the darkness that is within each of us in some degree or other. I sense a life raft, like no other I have encountered; surely I want to grab hold. I have been jumping all over this website, listening, reading, questioning, my soul cries out for more and more understanding. To have a little glimmer of hope that I, we, can all have the opportunity to move toward living in the transformed state, just that possibility alone is enough to begin this journey. Thank you to Jeremy to have the courage to speak the truth and dedicating your life to finding understanding of the human condition. I would like to share something I wrote 1 Jan 2023, it is as follows...“Who Am I? Do I Know?? I Know Not!!! Seek therefore with your heart fully open to possibilities beyond your imagination. Awaken to the Being you were intended to be. Live life fully, leave no stone unturned. Love without reservation, embrace the fear and hold on tight for the ride of your life!!!” I, corrupt to the core, end up here 4 months later, with the hope of a New World, that I and each of us can participate in...There are no words that can be written to express the magnitude of Jeremy’s work and that of WTM

Always learn and study the new and unexpected.

Trevor moore

The majority of humanity has been slowly duped into its present condition....we are not all built like this and change is under way.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your thoughts Trevor. We suggest the more people absorb what is presented in THE Interview the more they realise that it explains humans’ psychological upset or “present condition” is the result of a universal psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. And, significantly, a psychosis is changeable as it can be healed through understanding so the solution is profound and brings the lasting change in ourselves, and therefore the world, we all long for and desperately need, see FAQ 1.5 ‘Why is understanding the human condition important to my life?’

Joann Burnham

When white people made it to the west coast the Native Americans showed them their lands beauty …. Native Americans did not understand WHY THE WHITE PEOPLE immediately began DISTROYING IT.

WTM Admin

There is much to digest in this presentation Joann, but explanation of the human condition reveals the human race started out innocent and then became increasingly corrupted as a result of the heroic search for knowledge. This key insight allows us to understand that indigenous ‘races’ such as Native Americans, who have been relatively sheltered from humanity’s heroic battle to find knowledge, will be more ‘innocent’, or less psychologically upset, than less sheltered races. This explains why indigenous peoples have so much affinity with our instinctive soulful, cooperative way of living and the natural world and why they; however, even indigenous peoples are only ‘relatively’ innocent, because all humans are now part of the extremely upset stage of humanity, H. sapiens sapiens, and are therefore nowhere near as innocent as humans were some 2 million years ago when the battle of the human condition first emerged. But, what is most significant, is that despite the differing levels of upset due to everyone’s different exposure to humanity’s heroic battle to find knowledge, we can now understand that we are all equally good. You might like to read our FAQ 9.1 about how this understanding puts an end to racism; and for testimonials on the power of this knowledge to end racism and unite the human race, we recommend watching/reading Franklin Mukakanga, of Zambia and Refentse Molosiwa from WTM Mahikeng, in Video/Freedom Essay 8.

Yehualashet Sahile

First, I went to say thank you for this wonderful interview presented for the media. secondly I went to say thank you the sceintiest to write this book for the benefit for those who understand the human behavior to know and decide to follow the way of the Lord. on the other hand, it helps us to show the way what we are going to do for the future in our all part of life to live for God for the rest of our life. thank you again and i you have soft compy please send it.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your comment Yehualashet. We did want to clarify that Jeremy Griffith’s work demystifies religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life ; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life, see our FAQs about religion.     If you especially want a hard copy of THE Interview or other books by Jeremy Griffith you can purchase them from Amazon or other bookstores. Otherwise they are immediately available at no cost to read online, download or listen to HERE on our homepage. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon.

Phillip Anderson

Breathtakingly late. Hope i am wrong. Bless u

WTM Admin

Thank you Phillip for your feedback. With more digestion we suggest you will see it isn’t too late to save the world as long as people, who do appreciate its truth, support it. It is certainly the 11th hour, but as Jeremy Griffith explains, once this takes off, this information will turn things around almost overnight, see FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world?. We also recommend Jeremy’s Freedom Essays about ‘Do we fail or do we make it?’ (see F. Essays 55—58). These present a fearlessly honest analysis of the state of the world followed by how the extraordinary transforming power of this information can save the world. So we encourage people to come and help us do exactly that and register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith and join our WTM Community Facebook Group to share in this transforming knowledge.

WTM Admin

That’s wonderful Julius! For more go to the top of our homepage—HumanCondition.com—it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ and guides you through the steps to pursue your interest. This includes our series of 16 Main Videos with the next one to watch, after THE Interview, being The Great Guilt where Jeremy Griffith gives an astonishingly interesting and important description of The Great Burden Of Guilt that has finally been lifted from the human race! Click here to start watching!

Catherine Netter

In other words, we are conditioned to believe using our conscious mind is bad and following the steered course is good as in Adam and Eve in the garden. It keeps everyone in line.

WTM Admin

At last with explanation of the human condition we can understand that we are not bad for undertaking the self-corrupting search for knowledge – this is, in fact, the very essence of Jeremy Griffith’s treatise! For example, THE Interview explains how the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! This understanding fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race. It establishes that we humans are good and not bad after all. With this understanding we can finally end our psychologically troubled human condition and can become sound managers of ourselves and our world without having to restrain or keep our upset in line—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough! Also, following THE Interview we suggest people watch The Great Guilt which further explains just how heroic the human journey to find knowledge has been and we no longer have to carry the immense burden of guilt and shame for having corrupted our original innocent state. It is an astonishing revealing and important presentation that shouldn’t be missed!

Very insightful, thank you for the presentation.

Very very much informative. After all we want sustainable the human mind, so that if thrive and sustain itself for long period of years. In order to keep our earth alive, we need people with good mental health. I support the fact that you a thinker. As a social behavioural honours student. I am so very much keen in unpacking human behavior from the root.

Allen McDonald

Love the idea for human change, but how do we ever get the entire world on board with making the necessary changes when there is so much evil in our world.

WTM Admin

Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. Even those most obsessed by seeking reinforcement through power, fortune and glory will realise that that compensation is as nothing compared with the genuine liberation that is now on offer. How this healing is immediately open to us all is summarised in FAQ 1.5 and FAQ 1.40 addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

Ayenew Gezie Kebede

I thank you so muchI I think this is the way that could alleviate racism, discrimination & xenophobia! I would like to be the part of transforming the world journey. Live long Jeremy!

Fascinating, an un-vailing of how we work. Thank you!

Jared Hosford

I am surprised few people knew this. I’ve known this since childhood by simply watching peers and authority figures. The world confirmed my assumptions. People in power know this too and they will ensure the current system remains intact because it maintains their status quo and their high standard of living. This is the real evil of the world, and there is no chance they will surrender their grip of dominion. They work hard to ensure the current system is unbreakable. Technology will provide for them the final solution.

WTM Admin

Hi Jared, what is so extraordinarily unique and ground-breaking about Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition is that it explains the real reason for why humans’ competitive behaviour became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. That is why it is so powerful: it actually allows us all to reconcile the selfish, power-hungry madness of the world, and in ourselves, with ideality. And by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation. See FAQ 1.40, which addresses ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. One word – amazing

Marion Scheltema

Very interesting, thank you for sharing this wisdom!

Ernie Boxall

Totally agree with the explanation of the Garden of Eden and the need for people to use gods to give an explanation of natural phenomena (the Aurora; Floods: Thunder etc) And to give meaning to birth and death. But, I believe Ayn Rand should be mentioned as an author and philosopher who described a community based on trust and mutual support in Atlas Shrugged and took that process to its negative conclusion with Anthem where the collective was happy to own nothing.

WTM Admin

Thanks Ernie. There is a lot here to digest; in particular that our selfish, egocentric behaviour is a result of a psychologically upsetting clash between our intellect and preestablished instinctive self. It is this insight into the psychological origin of our divisive behaviour that is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work; and most significantly, this understanding means that that psychologically upset state can be ameliorated, because a psychosis can be healed through understanding.     With regard to Ayn Rand, in his book Death by Dogma, Jeremy focuses on politics and in particular the danger presented by the left wing, which is that its insistence on ideal behaviour oppresses the corrupting, but critcally important search for knowledge, whereas the right wing, through its support of selfish individualism, supported that all-critical search. As Jeremy explains in Death by Dogma, “So although the ideology of the Right was correct, unable to confront the truth of our corrupted human condition and thus find the true instinct vs intellect explanation for why we have had to be competitive, selfish and aggressive, they were left having to contrive a way to justify our seemingly ‘reactionary’, non-ideal, competitive, selfish and aggressive behaviour, which they did (as indicated in the quote above) by using the biologically dishonest ‘must reproduce your genes’, Social Darwinist, ‘survival of the fittest’, ‘savage instincts’ excuse that said we humans are innately, naturally competitive, selfish and aggressive, ‘war-like, greedy and oppressive’. Which meant the colossal philosophical heroes of the Right who bravely defended our competitive and aggressive state like the author Ayn Rand, and more recently the psychologist Jordan Peterson, were ultimately doomed to fail because their arguments were based on false biology.”

Marcus

So far I have Buddhist and Taoist introspection as my guide, but I’m keen to study this narrative, see where it leads. Fear seems to freeze our development. Kind regards.

WTM Admin

Good on you Marcus. we suggest that what you will find is that while Buddhism and other forms of introspective guidance contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view.
