Intriguing and ground breaking solution or thinking to most common questions - I.e. why are we on earth?, what drives the human being?
Cynthia Levy
Well, yes. Once clearly described, so obvious. I have been re reading Jean Auel’s fictional series Earth’s Children, which describes the human condition before we condemned ourselves.
WTM Admin
Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s treatise explains that the longer humanity’s heroic search for knowledge has gone on, the more psychologically upset humanity became. It therefore follows that the further back in time you go, the less upset here was, ultimately leading back to an original, perfectly innocent, ‘golden age’ some 4 million years ago – an age religious scripture and philosophers such as Plato and Hesiod acknowledge, and which permeates our art and literature even to this day, such as Jean Auel’s work.
Myrna Winstanley
Just watched this interview. So so interesting. I worry about the state of the world, but could it be possible to help change it if everyone tried to be a more nurturing person. I can only control what I do, but I will try to be a more nurturing person to all the people around me.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment Myrna. As Jeremy Griffith explains in chapter 6:13 of FREEDOM, “now that we have found that very good reason why parents have been unable to nurture their children with anything like the unconditional love children instinctively expect and need, it is no longer necessary to deny the importance of nurturing both in the maturation of our species and in our own lives. Yes, with the arrival of understanding the terrible guilt that parents have felt for not being able to adequately nurture their offspring departs. Parents can now understand that their inability to adequately love their offspring is not their fault, but the product of the ever-accumulating levels of upset in the human race as a whole that resulted from our species’ heroic 2-million-year search for knowledge, specifically for self-knowledge, understanding of why we conscious humans are good and not bad. So yes, we can finally now admit the importance of nurturing and turn our attention back to the nurturing of our offspring—in fact, it now becomes a matter of great urgency that we do both these things.”

Humanize?
WTM Admin
Yes, this understand does finally and for all time “humanize” us humans. We have had to live such ‘inhuman’ lives because that was the cost of the corrupting but necessary search for knowledge, but now that our goodness has been biologically established we no longer have to continue to try and prove ourselves, which was the source of all our selfish, egocentric and alienated behaviour, and can legitimately return to a loving and selfless way of living — this is the rapidly transforming and healing effect of being able to understand the human condition.

Although I do not believe man can save themselves, I do agree that this is the first step in that direction - to admit that the human race is in a deplorable condition, and that we need to change, and that we need divine help. For me, Jesus is the ultimate solution to our problem!
WTM Admin
Importantly, what Jeremy Griffith is presenting is not a request for “divine help”, it is fundamentally an accountable, rational, scientific explanation of our human condition. While religious assurances, such as ‘God loves you’ provided comfort, they failed to explain WHY we are lovable, and it is that missing explanation that this breakthrough provides. We can now actually understand from a biological perspective that despite the horrific anger, egocentricity and alienation that searching for knowledge caused in us, we are fundamentally good. And it is that defence of our ‘dark side’, through finding the good reason that we had to defy our instincts, that brings a fundamental change to humanity because it makes all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) redundant. We no longer need them because we have the real defense for why we had to defy our instincts.

So, where do leaders Putin, Kim Jung Un, Xi, fit into your theory? And how do we get rid of them and replace them with people of great moral beings?
WTM Admin
We suggest that the more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, the more you will realise how accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset, which in the extreme, produces people who are capable of cruelty. Of course this breakthrough explanation doesn’t condone or sanction the horrendous atrocities humans can commit rather, through bringing compassionate understanding to the source of humans’ upset behaviour, it gives us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate it, see FAQ 1.38 ‘Aren’t some people just born psychopathic, or even ‘evil’? / How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour? / Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour?’. As the late Professor Harry Prosen, psychiatrist and former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, said: ‘I have no doubt Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.’
You should also be interested in FAQ 1.40, which addresses the questions of ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

Your presentation gives me hope. Thank you for all your efforts on humankinds behalf. Now can you put uour thesis in language that a 8th grader could understand. This will help this rationale explanation for world anxiety to be received, processed and shared with the masses. Hope and reassurance can calm the anxiety. Humanity is at a transition point that will greatly relieve human isolation and suffering. I comment with gratitude and joy.
WTM Admin
Thank you Denise: yes, we now have hope – and even more than that, there is great excitement! With regard to the language used, the fundamental explanation and language is actually very simple, but the very nature of the human condition means explanation of it can be difficult to access initially as it has been the most terrifying of subjects to face because it is the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad as a species, and we have necessarily lived in almost total denial of it. This creates a degree of confusion in the mind of the reader, and we naturally blame the presentation. In time, when we have overcome this ‘deaf effect’, and come back and read or listen to the presentation, we are universally struck by just how clear and straightforward the presentation is. We suggest looking at Video/Freedom Essay 11 titled ‘The difficulty of reading FREEDOM and the solution’ where Jeremy Griffith explains this initial ‘deaf effect’ and how to overcome it, which is also summarised in FAQ 1.16.

Very true 👍
grace
been upset since about aged 14..
got born again age 21
now being influenced by you
WTM Admin
Thank you Grace, you have distilled a lifetime into those three little lines! For the onlooker, we would just point out that the psychological process Jeremy Griffith terms ‘Resignation’ occurs in our adolescence, and is the most significant psychological event in human life (see Freedom Essay 30 titled ‘Resignation’). It represents a horrifically hard time for virtually every adolescent as it’s when we face and wrestle deeply with the issue of not only the imperfection of the non-ideal human-condition-stricken world around us, but also of the imperfection of our own behaviour — that we too suffer from anger, selfishness, meanness and indifference to others. We become acutely ‘psychologically upset’, and normally have to ‘resign’ to a life of denial in order to cope. For their part, religions have provided humanity with incredible guidance, comfort and love under the duress of the human condition, but ultimately to resolve and liberate ourselves from our conflicted human condition our conscious brain needed to understand why when the universal ideals of life are to be loving and cooperative are we also so hateful and competitive. To do this required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great breakthrough that biologist Jeremy Griffith has found.

So this is all Lovely and I agree ,,,, but how does this insight we now have and recognise ,Stop Trump china and russia ,North korea from destroying us New world peaceful people
WTM Admin
The first point to make is that being able to understand the human condition, and no longer being preoccupied with having to prove your own self-worth, puts you in a far more powerful position to properly manage circumstances, whether they be individual encounters, or geopolitcal threats such as the ones you mention.
Secondly, there is the power of this information to actually ameliorate the insecurity that is driving those driven to achieve power over others. In FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’, it is explained that, “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

Akono
Hi,
I want to know more about that movement to see if a religious like me can adhere
WTM Admin
This understanding presents a massive paradigm shift in our thinking, Akono, but what people discover is Jeremy Griffith’s work actually reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. In fact, it presents the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves, see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’ and FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’. It represents the end of faith and dogma and the beginning of knowing.

Yes, we have always intuitively known that despite all apperances to the contrary, we are fundamentally good. And while most people have had to block out or ‘resign’ themselves to a life of denial of our corrupted state (see Freedom Essay 30 on Resignation), some people have also held onto an awareness that we are all psychologically upset and living behind a facade. What is so significant about Jeremy’s breakthrough explanation of the human condition — which is what you are profoundly relating to — is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because that core goodness as individuals and as a species that ‘we intuitively felt’ has been biologically established. We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told.

Hi I found this very interesting. I’m an educated person. I love the way he has interpreted Adam & Eve. I think his interpretation is correct. It all so far makes perfect sense to me. Iv been seeking the truth all my life. & I think Iv found it. I’m v grateful. I live to evolve. Thank you.
WTM Admin
It’s wonderful to have your interest, Denise. Yes, in Part 2 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains that the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans ‘fall’ or them becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’. However as Jeremy stresses, we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’. And with that redeeming answer to the human condition now found, our psychological upset (so called ‘sinful’ or ‘fallen’ state) can actually subside. You might be interested in our FAQs about religion. You won’t! This beatific view of the “pre-conscious” state is easily debunked by anthropological facts, humans were even canabilistic during this period. The problem is far worse, it is the result of Western civilization’s method of upbring, with capitalist greed and lust for power imbedded into the psyche of children at an early age, and I would venture to say that if you showed this video to people in other countries, they would likely be puzzled by it, consider it an anathema or laugh it off. This view put forth is ethnocentric, and does not look at the big picture. Children who are brought up with humanistic-oriented training, with a imperative sense of duty to society instead of egotistical duty to self are just fine, and the end result on their own society turns out much better. But in the West, the problem is in the roots of Western society, which try as it might, seems incapable of escaping the bonds of christian and capitalist influence, the result of which we see every day in the obsession with endless wars, imperialism, world domination, and other assininities.
Additionally, Humans like yourselves seems to be inherently deeply incapable of foreseeing the long-term consequences of your delusional, ethnocentric state, and the end result is often not even close to what was intended in the first place. In fact, I find it difficult to trust ANY human ideas that support some utopian view, because utopian results are impossible; change is inevitable, and even IF a utopian state were set up, it would fall back in no time, simply due to inevitable changes. Add to that the inherent fallibility of human consciousness, and it is clear that something far more transforming is needed to pull Western civilization out of its sorry condition.

Firstly, analysis of early cannibalism suggests it was a funerary practice i.e. an act of respect, not agression. Secondly, there is scarcely any evidence of cannibalism older than 15,000 years, which is extremely recent in the context of humans becoming conscious some 2 million years ago, and actually supports the contention that humans have become more psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated over time, not less. In fact, the whole of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM evidences that we emerged from an innocent past, not a savage, ‘red in tooth and claw’ past as is commonly held. For example, the gentle and cooperative bonobos provide an extraordinary insight into our distant ancestors. The evidence for this is bonobos’ similarity to those ancestors, as well as similarities in the environment. In chapter 5:5 of FREEDOM, Jeremy includes an analysis of the hominin fossil record (particularly Ardipithecus) that evidences that on the basis of physique, intelligence, small canines, bipedality the bonobos present a very accurate model of our human ancestors; and there is also analysis from paleoanthropologists on the environment inhabited by those ancestors, demonstrating its similarity to the territory south of Congo River that the bonobos currently inhabit.
In addition there is analysis of gentleness of so-called primitive peoples, such as the San Bushmen and the Australian Aborigines, as well as evidence from mythology of a ‘golden age’ of innocence (for example, in chapter 2:7); see also evidence provided by the astonishing sensitivity to paleolithic rock painting (see chapter 8:11C); indeed, all of chapter 8), is a revealing application of the ontogeny recapitulate phylogeny principle. You might also be interested in FAQ 1.2 about why humanity has embraced the idea that we have ‘savage instincts’ derived from a savage past.
With regard to your criticism of Western culture, in Addendum 2 of his book Death by Dogma, Jeremy explains why the white, patriarchal, Judeo-Christian Western culture, like the right-wing in politics, has been one of the main targets for rejection by the pseudo idealistic, politically correct, ‘woke’, identity politics, cancel culture movement — but that it has finally delivered the explanation of the human condition that the whole world has been so desperately waiting for.
Finally, Jeremy Griffith’s work is not an idealistic plea for utopia or for everyone to just behave cooperatively, it is a biological defence of realism. THE Interview explains why imposing artificial or pseudo idealism does not work because it “stifled and oppressed the search for the understanding of our corrupted condition that was needed to actually free us from that state”. And it is that understanding of our so-called ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition that Jeremy presents. We can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it.

WTM Admin
Thank you Melanie – yes, what is presented is a rational, biological account of the human condition, but as you enthusiasm attests to, Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. Jeremy actually considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. in fact, what people discover is that this explanation represents the the fulfilment of a time that all the great prophets looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves (see our FAQs about religion).

Every man and women needs this transformation. I am in India and am honoured to have the Kindle version downloaded fully free. As suggested many times it meant re-reading passages and watching interspersed video links. I am on para 267 at the moment and have marked many text-blocks for reference. Already I feel quite a change in the understanding of my own self. My unrest and disturbances that I used to have seeing things imperfect in me as well as in others seems to have reduced considerably. I could never understand what it is to accept oneself and everyone as they are. But “Freedom” showed me the way to dig through the rubble and see the light. Jeremy, I may not be able to repay you enough for what this has done for me. You and this book are surely Godsent in my life.
I can now see that we have been continuously fooled and confused in the most disgusted, truth-denying mindset, shame-hiding attitudes and irresponsible systems not to know who we are. For in knowing it, we will only be able to love ourselves, others and the whole of whatever we are blessed to sense with each and every faculty of ours.
With the Truth that instincts are ingrained/ordained in our genes, and intelligence is only aquired and accumulated, the self-real-ization I strive for is no more in what I think I am. “I am not what I think I am” but “I am who I am”. It is a shame that in seeking to win knowledge, we had only been losing ourselves. “ Freedom” restores our senses to authenticate our inherent instincts and now understand intelligence - the fruit of the tree of knowledge. “Freedom” now helps to perceive the direction to see all that is bestowed upon us and return to it, while it helps us to understand how the intelect charges and directs us to deny ourselves of that “I am who I am”. We were meant to live but we were distracted to choose a living.
I hope I will be able to bring many more around me to this great revelation of “ Freedom”.
A BIG BIG THANK YOU.

Always open to new perspectives.

Welcome Rick! You are in for a treat because explanation of the human condition really is the long-awaited scientific breakthrough in understanding ourselves that ends human suffering at its source and unites the human race!
Grace
I would like to watch this interview which everybody is talking about. Thank you
Claus
Man may bear resemblance to one but he is not an animal. Animal are conditioned by their instinct and cannot deviate from it. (Morals do not come into play - a tiger feeling guilty who desire to become a vegetarian will die from hunger) What makes the difference however is that man is given free will. The most notable example is that God has given man the choice to worship him or not. How he will use his free will will dictate his life condition and that of his descendants. The world can only expect to live in harmony when we recognise the need to behave like a humain being and not continue to live under the pervasive influence of the differentes natures that are below humanity. What are the proper behaviours for a man? Well it is already all written down in the various Holy books.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Claus. Biologist Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview humans have cooperative and selfless moral instincts, the voice or expression of which we call our conscience—not competitive and selfish animal instincts. As Charles Darwin said, “The moral sense…affords the best and highest distinction between man and the lower animals”. And in Part 3 of THE Interview, Jeremy explains how our ancestors acquired our instinctive cooperative and loving moral conscience. Yes instincts are intolerant of any deviation and with the development of our consciousness or intellect (also explained in Part 3 and FAQ 5.4) to master its incredible potential to self-manage, or as you say have free will of choice, our intellect had to defy our dictatorial instincts which resulted in humans becoming angry, egocentric and alienated — the psychological upset state of our human condition. Significantly psychological upset or a psychosis can be healed with understanding, so our upset behaviour is not unchangeable or immutable – a revelation that transforms the human race to be able to live in lasting harmony!
Christianity and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents. You may find our FAQs about religion of interest, for example FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’ and FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’.
Claus
Thank you kindly. Indeed we are all looking for answers. As said previously man is not an animal and as such is not controled by instinct. However, willingly or unwillingly too often he gives control and is manipulated by the influences of the outside world in which , from birth till death, he interact with incessantly . We cannot avoid being affected by the things we own, things we eats, things we sees, things we do, things we dream etc. to the point that there is no emptiness left in us. No room for our human soul to lessen the impact.
Little wonder small incident may makes us boil over.

It all makes sense! But, how we can make the ELITE do understand, that they fight with themselves and let us suffer....
WTM Admin
Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is summarised in FAQ 1.5 and FAQ 1.40 addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ It is explained there that even those who are most committed to seeking validation through gaining power and wealth, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, biological explanation of the human condition that establishes our worth at the most fundamental level.

Explanation is the key to escape the matrix
WTM Admin
Yes, we are currently trapped in ‘the matrix’, living lives of denial of our psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated lives, an essential insight which was the basis of the science fiction film The Matrix, which is a modern version of Plato’s Cave Allegory. In chapter 6:12 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, he writes, "I might mention here that this idea that humans have been living as prisoners in a mind-controlled state of denial of their reality, and of attacking the person who tries to liberate them from this state, forms part of our collective subconscious awareness because it periodically crops up in our mythologies. The same essential myth is found in the ancient Native American legend of The Story of Jumping Mouse, and, in more contemporary times, in the film The Truman Show. The deep resonance of the myth is also evidenced by the various science fiction films that have been based on Plato’s cave allegory, such as Dark City, City of Ember and, most notably, The Matrix."
Most importantly, this explanation does allow us to escape “the matrix”! With the redeeming explanation of our upset state there is a transforming path out of that darkness. As is explained in Part 4 of THE Interview, “everyone can immediately live free of their upset. The reason we can live free of it is that while we lacked the real defence and reinforcement of understanding of our corrupted condition, we absolutely needed the artificial defences and reinforcements of attacking any criticism of our corrupted condition, of denying and blocking it out, and of finding any positive reinforcement we could—anger, alienation and egocentricity are what sustained us—but now that we have the real defence and reinforcement of our fundamental goodness, all these artificial defences and reinforcements are obsoleted, they are no longer needed.”

Just like Native People all over the earth. They had an unending Love of Nature and unending Love of each other before the interruption of their Lives by Colonists!
WTM Admin
At last with Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition we can understand WHY we are so destructive, greedy and oppressive. Which means we can now explain that the more innocent or sheltered ‘races’ (ethnic groups), the “Native People”, have not been as exposed to humanity’s heroic battle to find knowledge as less sheltered races, and so they aren’t as psychologically upset as those less sheltered races. So yes, more sheltered races have more affinity with our instinctive soulful, cooperative way of living and nature and are therefore not as brutal and competitive as more upset races. However, all humans are now part of the extremely upset stage of humanity, H. sapiens sapiens, and are therefore nowhere near as innocent as humans were some 2 million years ago when the battle of the human condition first emerged. Also, most significantly, despite the differing levels of upset due to everyone’s different encounters with humanity’s heroic battle to find knowledge, we are all equally good. You might like to read our FAQ 9.1 about how this understanding puts an end to racism and for a testimonial on the power of this knowledge to end racism, we recommend the presentations from Franklin Mukakanga, of Zambia, and Refentse Molosiwa, of South Africa, in Video/Freedom Essay 8.

Isnt this what Jesus came to teach? Love one another as I have loved you. Do unto others as you would have them new unto you. Give Love and it shall be given unto you. Do not return evil for evil, but forgive and return good. A soft answer turneth away Wrath. Yes if we love, and nurture others and teach them the same they will do the same they will love and nurture others. It is not easy sometimes but it is worth it to love and nurture. I may not have understood all of what he was saying but I did understand that that he said we turned away from our nurturing ways. Let Us return to that as he has said

Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, or the Bible’s content, but we suggest that what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work is that he has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’. We can now understand the battle between our intellect and our cooperative instincts caused us to become psychologically angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. With that understanding all those insecure behaviours, such as greed, are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from that state and can legitimately return to the loving state that Jesus was advocating. We think you might find our FAQs about religion of interest, especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.

This is stunning, extremely complicated and I did expect it. I am a biologist and have been thinking and working on this from a child. This seems very intelligent to me, but also holds a very great threat. WOW!
WTM Admin
Thank you for your forthright comment Alfred. Yes, having the human condition explained does expose the truth about our upset condition, but importantly, it doesn’t condemn us, rather it compassionately explain we are ‘good’ and not ‘bad’ for taking on the corrupting search for knowledge. Indeed, the explanation of the human condition is all redeeming, reconciling and rehabilitating! Along with re-watching THE Interview, we recommend you watch or read The Great Transformation, which explains the fabulous way we deal with the personal transparency and confronting nature of the human condition. As Jeremy explains, the human condition is no longer an unbearably depressing subject as we can now bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and significantly we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us. Also we recommend FAQ 1.39 ‘How are we supposed to cope with all the heretical truths brought to light by the explanation of the human condition?’

Really? As it is mentioned, this is not a new concept, and the science being used to support this concept could just as easily be used to support the opposite. How one sees humanity, good or evil in nature, is a sentiment shaped by all kinds of factors thru out life, and the assumption that every one of us sees human nature as bad is really surprisingly out of touch with the times.
You barely get 30 min in before dragging politics into iinto it. So let’s get this straight... You have solved the human condition and have the answer to fix every one’s life, unless you are left leaning, liberal, than your “openness and understanding” is ffake?
There’s hope for every one else tho.come on!
The deaf affect isn’t that people can’t understand what is being said.
Its that what is being said is so basic, we mistakenly believe that some thing else actually revolutionary h being overlooked.

While it takes some time to digest, we suggest that what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work is that he has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ and Video/Freedom Essay 4 which expands further on other thinkers (both ancient and contemporary) who have recognised instinct and intellect elements involved in creating the human condition.
With regard to politics and the criticism of the left wing, we can now see that their insistence on ideal behaviour had the effect of oppressing and thus regressing, not ‘progressing’, the all-important search for knowledge - see our FAQs on politics. This does not mean that those that support the left wing aren’t fundamentally defended by the explanation of the human condition like everyone else, just that pseudo idealism was a dangerous delusion. As Jeremy explains in FAQ 4:6, we can, and must if we are to save the human race, now own both the positive and negative aspects of our condition. As he writes, “Being able to finally understand and defend our corrupted condition, understand the good reason for what used to be called our ‘badness’ or ‘evil’, enables us to own and acknowledge our corrupted condition. We can now understand that the situation is two sided; everyone is equally good, worthwhile and wonderful but everyone is variously corrupted. There is a downside with the upside that we now can acknowledge—and must acknowledge if we are to rehabilitate and save the human race from terminal alienation and extinction.”

Carolyn Ortiz
Well I didn’t hear it. What’s the deal?
WTM Admin
Hi Carolyn, the very nature of the human condition means discussion of it can be initially difficult to access. As THE Interview explains this is because historically the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad has been the most terrifying of all subjects to face, and so we have necessarily lived in almost total denial of it, which means our minds can initially struggle to hear and absorb discussion about it. Wonderfully however, this ‘deaf effect’ can be overcome with patient perseverance and everyone can access this most wonderful of all gifts of understanding the human condition! See our FAQ 1.16 ‘Why can’t I understand this’, and Jeremy Griffith’s astonishingly revealing presentation, The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect on our website.

Bahnbrechende Erkenntnis, ohne Zweifel. [Groundbreaking insight, without a doubt. However, I fear that the healing of humanity will take much longer than a few generations. The most selfish people, those who have acquired power and wealth through it, will never give it up voluntarily and will continue to sow war, death and destruction in the world. I hope so much and wish that it is different. I will continue to study the concept so that I can also bring it to the world. In perhaps a somewhat simpler language. (Tr. from German)]
WTM Admin
Thanks Christopher, it’s wonderful to have your interest in this world-unifying and saving understanding of the human condition. As with any new scientific breakthrough in history it will take time to gain mainstream acceptance, and from there break through the bastions of power in the world. However, with support from those who appreciate this understanding, even though the deeper healing of humanity will take generations, the truth is that this redeeming, compassionate and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone gets on board. Basically, so exciting and relieving is this breakthrough, and the freedom from the human condition that is now on offer, that everyone will want it, and so it will catch on like wildfire and this is already happening. I’d like to know more in depth of this new and about time more accurate detailed look at just how us humans have evolved into where we’re at now. Giving a far more accurate account than the Darwinism natural history of our root beginnings of where and how our journey has been and a far better understanding of ourselves so we can carry on this evolution of our place on earth and ultimately in the universe. I hope this gives us a more detailed description of not the meaning of life but the nature of life.

I constantly ask myself “Who am I - really” I’m proud that a fellow Australian thinker helps to answer that question. It also confirms for me that religion is a mythical attempt to answer that question and why religions have for so long have rejected science.
John Samson
Unfortunately, this information is premised on ape ancestry which true empirical science will never attest to. Therefore its' all irrelevant to me.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment John. We certainly respect people’s religious views however we felt it was important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict the Bible. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. The real issue is if people prefer a more literal fundamentalist interpretation of scripture rather than our more biological, science-based interpretation.

Awesome, thank you ❤️
Intriguing and ground breaking solution or thinking to most common questions - I.e. why are we on earth?, what drives the human being?
Well, yes. Once clearly described, so obvious. I have been re reading Jean Auel’s fictional series Earth’s Children, which describes the human condition before we condemned ourselves.
Just watched this interview. So so interesting. I worry about the state of the world, but could it be possible to help change it if everyone tried to be a more nurturing person. I can only control what I do, but I will try to be a more nurturing person to all the people around me.
Amazing
Awesome that this world we live in can be transformed to passing it forward
Great interview, mind-blowing
Important Humanize?
Yes, this understand does finally and for all time “humanize” us humans. We have had to live such ‘inhuman’ lives because that was the cost of the corrupting but necessary search for knowledge, but now that our goodness has been biologically established we no longer have to continue to try and prove ourselves, which was the source of all our selfish, egocentric and alienated behaviour, and can legitimately return to a loving and selfless way of living — this is the rapidly transforming and healing effect of being able to understand the human condition.
Encouraging. And not before time. Hopefully it will be well read. And acted upon. It’s a sunny day in the Southern Hemisphere and it is Wintertime. All to the Good!
Wow
love this talk
Very Interesting Must watch again soon. Thank You for your Commitment Courage And Contribution to Helping Our Society to trying to live at peace
Although I do not believe man can save themselves, I do agree that this is the first step in that direction - to admit that the human race is in a deplorable condition, and that we need to change, and that we need divine help. For me, Jesus is the ultimate solution to our problem!
Thank you all for this interview.
The interview touched something in my soul that I haven’t felt since childhood ❤️
Thank you!
So, where do leaders Putin, Kim Jung Un, Xi, fit into your theory? And how do we get rid of them and replace them with people of great moral beings?
As the late Professor Harry Prosen, psychiatrist and former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, said: ‘I have no doubt Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.’You should also be interested in FAQ 1.40, which addresses the questions of ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”I am very interested in this book, it changes my life. Thanks so much FSamosari
Love this
Your presentation gives me hope.
We suggest looking at Video/Freedom Essay 11 titled ‘The difficulty of reading FREEDOM and the solution’ where Jeremy Griffith explains this initial ‘deaf effect’ and how to overcome it, which is also summarised in FAQ 1.16.

been upset since about aged 14.. got born again age 21 now being influenced by you
Thank you Grace, you have distilled a lifetime into those three little lines!
Awesome
So this is all Lovely and I agree ,,,, but how does this insight we now have and recognise ,Stop Trump china and russia ,North korea from destroying us New world peaceful people
The first point to make is that being able to understand the human condition, and no longer being preoccupied with having to prove your own self-worth, puts you in a far more powerful position to properly manage circumstances, whether they be individual encounters, or geopolitcal threats such as the ones you mention.Secondly, there is the power of this information to actually ameliorate the insecurity that is driving those driven to achieve power over others. / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’, it is explained that, “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”An amazing revelation to understand the whole thing of what we are in this Universe..!!!
Hi, I want to know more about that movement to see if a religious like me can adhere
Now that’s a wakeup call if ever
What’s this all about?

The way to go
Great discovery and informative. Thanks.
Thank you I know this since I was so young.
Very important interview
Hi I found this very interesting. I’m an educated person. I love the way he has interpreted Adam & Eve. I think his interpretation is correct. It all so far makes perfect sense to me. Iv been seeking the truth all my life. & I think Iv found it. I’m v grateful. I live to evolve. Thank you.
Our homepage — HumanCondition.com — also provides a wonderful road map to help you progress, with all our key material made freely available and, as you may have already discovered, you can register for our free weekly emails that present this immensely relieving understanding in bite-size portions. Also our Facebook Group provides a wonderful platform for participating in, or just observing, interesting and exciting discussion with others about how we can learn more about and live with this critical new science.
Eye opening
The world may start healing now and what a glorious event that is . I am sure so very many of us are extremely happy and grateful for this “Nobel Prize” type of work that will change our world and bring about peace, joy and happiness also ending hunger and poverty plus so many other unpleasant conditions that have been brought about by mankind’s own inner conflict.
I have a feeling I’m going to regret this.
You won’t! However the astonishing claims being made about Jeremy Griffith’s work do warrant initial scepticism, but they can all be verified as what Jeremy presents is all first principle-based, testable, biological understanding of the human condition which has attracted the support of eminent scientists and thinkers (see our homepage and FAQ 1.9 ‘Should people be sceptical about claims’).
Enjoyed! Enlightening!
Very insightful and amazing truth.
good info
‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it.This would have to be one of the best interviews that I have watched with regards the human condition. Thank you, and let’s hope that we can all come together as ONE!
This was very interesting and informative to me!!!! I do have to add without Jesus in my life, I wouldn’t have come this far. I was blessed by listening to this interview. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✝️❣️
Thank you for this interview. I think every human must watch this interview. We also have to share on all social media platforms. My country Ghana will need this as well. I’ll have to have the transcript so I can share. Thank you very much once again
For readers of this comment, the transcript of THE Interview, along with Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition, are freely available on our homepage here along with his other key books. You can read them online or download them (no email required). You can also download the free Kindle versions or purchase hard copies from Amazon. Hard copies are also available at Amazon and good bookstores.
I’m extremely excited that this information has been presented to the world. I have been lost in my own little existence most of my life. There has not been any door available for me to go to and find anything or anyone to share my deepest understanding of this view I have as well. Thank you so much..!!
I’m much interested
The type of information the whole world needs to hear 👌
Let’s C
I would like to watch this interview which everybody is talking about. Thank you
Man may bear resemblance to one but he is not an animal.
Significantly psychological upset or a psychosis can be healed with understanding, so our upset behaviour is not unchangeable or immutable – a revelation that transforms the human race to be able to live in lasting harmony!Christianity and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. You may find our FAQs about religion of interest, for example FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’ and FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’.Thank you kindly.
We’re only human
I will hear more of the transformation
Well it is all on our website waiting for you Hilda! This is an incredibly insightful revelation
I have just watched some part of the interview. Found it interesting and enlightening for me. Please continue sending the detail. Yes I understand that it is free and without any kind of obligation thanks.
Amazing work
This information is extremely helpful and very important to all humans. I’m very happy to have found it.
It all makes sense! But, how we can make the ELITE do understand, that they fight with themselves and let us suffer....
Listening again; Thank You Professor Griffith. Where & How can I get a hard copy of Freedom.🙏🏽
Hi Paulette, Jeremy Griffith’s books are immediately available for free here on our homepage. This includes Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you are particularly wanting a hard copy you can purchase them from Amazon or other good bookstores.
Amazing!
What an amazing, eye opening interview was that. Thanks to Jeremy.
Excellent
Explanation is the key to escape the matrix
The deep resonance of the myth is also evidenced by the various science fiction films that have been based on Plato’s cave allegory, such as Dark City, City of Ember and, most notably, The Matrix."Most importantly, this explanation does allow us to escape “the matrix”! With the redeeming explanation of our upset state there is a transforming path out of that darkness. As is explained in Part 4 of THE Interview, “everyone can immediately live free of their upset. The reason we can live free of it is that while we lacked the real defence and reinforcement of understanding of our corrupted condition, we absolutely needed the artificial defences and reinforcements of attacking any criticism of our corrupted condition, of denying and blocking it out, and of finding any positive reinforcement we could—anger, alienation and egocentricity are what sustained us—but now that we have the real defence and reinforcement of our fundamental goodness, all these artificial defences and reinforcements are obsoleted, they are no longer needed.”Very, very interesting and fascinating
This explains the psychotic behaviors of our society.
Just like Native People all over the earth. They had an unending Love of Nature and unending Love of each other before the interruption of their Lives by Colonists!
The topic is very very important and useful to all beings who care about their health
It’s amazing
Awaking
The most amazing explanation of the reasons for the sickness and corruption throughout our contemporary world. It is surely the Truth!
Fantastic
This Authors book, is more revealing than Darwins book, even possibly the bible. I believe it is a manual on how to be a useful human being
TOTALLY AWAKENING!! I HAVE TO SEE THIS AGAIN!!
AWAKENING.
Simply discussed obvious features of so called human CIVILIZATION today and very rarely we find to discuss these inappropriate behaviour patterns so clearly and a great comfortable feeling to listen you and to know there are people feeling the direction NOT honourable we have taken and where we are today. THANKS!!!
This is stunning, extremely complicated and I did expect it. I am a biologist and have been thinking and working on this from a child. This seems very intelligent to me, but also holds a very great threat. WOW!
It’s awesome and mind blowing.
I don’t consider myself smart by any means, but I understand it. The nurturing of life, families getting along again, the best possibilities for life on earth again. Starts with forgiveness, of ourselves.
I’m grateful that you have created the platform for the truth and frankly it is about time. You are hopefully opening a Crack in the lies that will help People find their pathway to enlightenment thank you so very much sir
There is a downside with the upside that we now can acknowledge—and must acknowledge if we are to rehabilitate and save the human race from terminal alienation and extinction.”Great insights.
Finding this information is very interesting and informative. Thank You
Wow! Hopefully this can fix me.
Well I didn’t hear it. What’s the deal?
Very rewarding, indeed
Mind blowing. Have insights on human behavior in every day life.
Shame his book cannot be translated and priced so people in all walks of life could read it. Amazing interview.
Bertie, we are working on translations as quickly as we can!
Just read the ecstatic responses THE Interview is receiving on our homepage and scroll down to see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for the WTM with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world! Also FAQ 1.40 is most helpful as it answers the question ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.
I wish to learn and understand more thank you.

Let’s do this!!
Good on you Don! Your attitude is exactly how we ‘Fix The World’ (as the WTM banner says)! People can see our extensive How To Help page for ways in which they can get in involved and bring this all-healing, all-exciting breakthrough understanding to the world. As Jeremy Griffith writes at the top of that page, “And believe me, before long, when the realisation catches on that we have finally found the redeeming understanding of the human condition that ends our need to continue living out our old insecure, embattled, have-to-prove-we-are-good-and-not-bad lives, that everyone can now live this way in support of an all-relieving and all-unifying new world, the ecstatic freedom and utter excitement will completely sweep the world. As the philosopher Teilhard de Chardin wrote, ‘The Truth has to only appear once…for it to be impossible for anything ever to prevent it from spreading universally and setting everything ablaze’.”
We need healing in this nation. If we can get everyone to listen and get in before it’s too late
Utterly besotted every sentence from each explanatory made immediately sense unquestionable, understood wholeheartedly not only myself also my siblings, tired hear other belief, assured their futures faced positive advantages.
James, we recommend Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, for the in depth treatment of not just our evolution, but the evolution of life and our place in it. Also, you might be particularly interested in Freedom Essay 25: The truthful biology of life.
I constantly ask myself “Who am I - really” I’m proud that a fellow Australian thinker helps to answer that question. It also confirms for me that religion is a mythical attempt to answer that question and why religions have for so long have rejected science.
Unfortunately, this information is premised on ape ancestry which true empirical science will never attest to. Therefore its' all irrelevant to me.
Love this it gives reasons from the beginning to where we are now and easy to follow and understand as a reasonable thjnker,,thank you for this
