So interesting. Gives hope for our species. We all need this right now. This is the time for humans to save ourselves. It’s all about the human condition; what it is, why it happened, how we can understand how we got here and how it can be changed.

Very interesting and one thing I understand is that our violent nature does not come from our instinct to survive but from our confusion that came about from the “FALL”. However, life itself is violent and I know this because for every living thing to survive it must consume another living thing, humans included. The instinctual violence comes from not only having to kill to survive but also to kill in order not to be eaten. Live is designed to be violent. Was it that before the “Fall' live had other ways of sustaining itself? Was life before the ”FALL“ spiritual and life after the ”FALL" physical with new physical demands?
WTM Admin
Thanks Joseph, Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition explains that we became psychologically upset sufferers of the angry, egocentric and alienated human condition as the unavoidable result of a clash between our pre-established instincts and emerging conscious mind; that is it not an instinctive state. Certainly instincts normally have to have a selfish ‘survival of the fittest’ orientation, but one of the revelations of Jeremy’s work is that humans have all-loving, cooperative instincts as a result of the Love-Indocrination process our ancestors underwent (a process you can see occuring in bonobos; read more in Freedom Essay 21), which allowed them to overcome genes’ normal selfishness. However, as Jeremy explains in THE Interview, without the ‘instinct vs intellect’ defence for our upset, “fallen” (to use religious terminology) state, mechanistic science has sought to falsely excuse our violent behaviour on ‘savage instincts’ within us; that we are, as you say, needing to rely on “instinctual violence” in order to survive. We suggest that with this true defence for our behaviour established, it is now possible to consider that there is clear evidence that humans developed from a cooperative and loving ancestor – of which the bonobos are a living model.

What is this program about? Kindly give me more information.
WTM Admin
Hi Clement, essentially we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are humans so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents here in THE Interview and comprehensively in his book FREEDOM. The human condition manifests in different ways in all as a result of our own experiences and exposure to the world, but the clash between instinct and intellect is the source of all our insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation, and so explaining it makes all those defensive behaviours redundant. We suggest you read the very brief summary in FAQ 1.3 and then re-watch THE Interview.
Also watching the main videos that follows THE Interview is great as that series elaborates on what’s been presented — so there’ll be some repetition, but going over the concepts in more detail does help with the understanding and absorption of them. FAQ 1.16 is also recommended because it explains our historic fear of the subject of the human condition and the resulting ‘deaf effect’ that often initially causes. So it can take a little time and perseverance to get your head around it this explanation but it’s well worth it as you can see from the daily ecstatic responses on our homepage — people everywhere are so relieved to finally be able to make sense of human life!

Using the nature of the Bonobo (love & Nurturing) as the example in their environment how does the love concept relate with a predator like a lion? How would a lion and a Bonobo live in harmony?
Love your work
Fellow Australian
WTM Admin
Thank you for your appreciation, and question, Paul. Ideal nursery conditions were required for the establishment of the love-indoctrination process, which included a low level of predation. Jeremy Griffith discusses this process in THE Interview and refers the audience to his Freedom Essay 21 and chapter 5 of his definitive book FREEDOM which explain it more fully. Jeremy explains in chapter 5:8 of FREEDOM, “any difficulty or breakdown in the nurturing process and you are invariably ‘swept back downstream’ once more to the old competitive, selfish, each-for-his-own, opportunistic, ‘animal condition’ situation. So while love-indoctrination could allow unconditionally selfless behaviour to emerge in our ape ancestors, it was a very difficult, and also a very slow, process to both get underway and maintain.”
Predation (or any disruption to their normal peaceful environment) after love-indoctrination had been established has a different effect. Both humans and bonobos now instinctively expect to be nurtured with unconditional love during infancy, and any disruption (such as predation) that prevented an infant receiving that love would cause them to experience extreme psychological anxiety. You can read about psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s treatment of an emotionally disturbed bonobo (Brian) in chapter 5:13 of FREEDOM.

Very interesting indeed and very helpful to know about this on the Human Condition. Thanks indeed.

It’s a positive step on the road to human evolution for those who do care about the human condition. However you must also deal with those who care only about themselves and the wealth and power they can accumulate.
Great job getting it out there, however no matter how accurate and how right the words are, words alone won’t do it. It will take a major event happening for the entire planet. Remember that not all major events are bad, there is a great deal we don’t know or understand yet.
WTM Admin
We appreciate your concerns, Tim, but what you will start to realise as you further digest what is presented here is that is truly does get to the bottom of the human condition and from there is able to completely change humanity’s whole situation. Where one minute everything looked hopeless, suddenly it is not only infused with hope, but incredibly exciting. That is the turn around that having the human condition brings. Our FAQ 1.40 addresses the question ‘Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ and explains that even those who are most committed to seeking validation through accumulating power and wealth, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, biological explanation of the human condition that establishes our worth at the most fundamental level. Basically, so exciting and relieving is this breakthrough, and the freedom from the human condition that is now on offer, that everyone will want it, and so it will catch on like wildfire — and this is already happening. Just read the ecstatic responses THE Interview is receiving on our homepage and scroll down to see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for the WTM with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world!

Laurice Lovemore
Good to hear what i have understood for so many years now, and i just reached the age of 65. Thank you
WTM Admin
Great to have your interest, Laurice! As THE Interview explains, despite our competitive and selfish behaviour we have always intuitively believed we were fundamentally good, but we have never been able to explain our contradictory, conflicted condition — until now. Using first principle-based biology, Jeremy Griffith explains that only understanding why the intellect had to defy our cooperative ‘good’ instincts and become psychologically upset, or ‘bad’, could we resolve our species’ psychosis. Having the conflict between our instincts and intellect explained is all-important because it is only this clarifying, redeeming and reconciling explanation of the nature of the struggle between our instinctive self and conscious self that at last brings peace to our divided selves, and transforms the human race; see FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’.

Terry Trent
I am a biologist as well. All species are slaves to their genetics. This does not mean intuition or instincts alone. Motivations are survival and reproduction. We are not distinguished from other species in any truly important way other than our particular and current form of success. What stands out more than our individual psychologies, is the 3.8 billion year arms war between all species, that has lead to the physical appearances and mental approaches of individual members of any species.
It is an error to cherry pick a few strategies (methods of accomplishing survival and reproduction) among millions of species and strategies that have existed, especially from Physical Anthropology and mammalian studies, to generalize an aberrant behavior in humans. Particularly since all of this behavior, aberrant or not, has given rise to our specific ability to contemplate it in the first place. Judgement is not an understanding of species.,
WTM Admin
Certainly all animals have instincts shaped by millions of years of natural selection, and they are ‘selfish’ instincts, devoted to reproduction and survival. But human aggression and egocentricity is not instinctive, it is psychological! And if we can admit that, then it is obvious that it must be related to our fully conscious mind, which is unique in the animal kingdom. It does take some time to digest, but as Jeremy Griffith explains in Freedom Essay 4, the instinct vs intellect explanation for the human condition is actually very obvious. He says, “if we think truthfully about the human condition—instead of dishonestly living in denial of it as virtually everyone, including scientists, have been doing—then it becomes apparent that the instinct vs intellect explanation is the completely obvious and fully accountable and thus true explanation for our divisive behaviour. And this obviousness is made abundantly clear by the many great thinkers throughout history who have recognised those instinct vs intellect elements—such as the ones I have already mentioned from ancient history, and the ones I’m about to mention from contemporary times. As you will see, while none of these thinkers have managed to fully explain the human condition—in some cases because in their time science had yet to reveal the nature of the gene and nerve-based systems—all of them recognised the key ingredients involved in that honest and true explanation of our conscious mind being at odds with our instincts.”

I hear echos of a “Course in Miracles”.
WTM Admin
There is a huge difference between Jeremy Griffith’s biological treatise and the ‘Course in Miracles’, which is articulated in this comment on Video/Freedom Essay 9 by subscriber Lesley Davies. Lesley said: “I can now see why A Course in Miracles didn’t work for me. I completed the 365 day course three years running to try and heal myself from deep depression and anxiety. After reading essay 15 and studying Freedom it becomes clear that without the explanation of WHY we are so upset ACIM can only act as a sticky plaster with the ‘scream’ still going on underneath.” FAQ 6.5 further explains how our species' liberation from the human condition depended on confronting and biologically explaining why we became so upset, and stresses this huge difference between Jeremy’s work and the new age movement.

Marce
Very interesting. Would like to hear more about solutions.
WTM Admin
Hi Marce, solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source. We can now understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness, so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and fix the world. This is the rapidly transforming effect of being able to understand the human condition, however because it presents a huge paradigm shift in our thinking it does take a little time to fully grasp. We suggest you watch Part 4 of THE Interview ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’ again. Also our FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 are helpful as they explain far-reaching practical applications of this solution to our troubled condition, especially FAQ 1.6 ‘Why understanding the human condition solves everything’.

WTM Admin
Hi Charles, as THE Interview explains humans’ need for power and domination is not driven by us having savage animal instincts but by a psychosis caused by a clash between our intellect and cooperative instincts. So yes we can now understand that human aggression and anger, even the most extreme expressions of it, is psychological in origin and ultimately a symptom of the human condition. You may find Freedom Essay 29, ‘Can human conflict ever be bought to an end’ and our FAQ 4.2 titled Aren’t some people just born psychopathic, or even ‘evil’? / How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour? / Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour? of further interest.

WTM Admin
We suggest you watch THE Interview again because it explains that men in particular are the heroes of the human journey and the reason men are currently selfish and aggressive is not selfish instincts or testosterone, but a state of psychological upset resulting from the instinct vs intellect clash. Astonishingly with Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition we can at last understand and reconcile the huge gulf of misunderstanding that has existed between men and women. We can explain why men especially, but also women, suffer from the human condition and all its related behaviours including selfishness and egocentricity, but that all humans are equally good, worthwhile, meaningful and wonderful regardless of gender, age, religion, etc. See biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s video commendation about how this explanation is the real liberation of women and FAQ 8.1 ‘Hos does this reconcile men and women?’

One must learn to self control the mind. Our thinking manisfest our thoughts,it depends on how you manifest to negative or positive outcome.
WTM Admin
Hi Swee, thank you for your thoughts. Part 1 of THE Interview explains human behaviour is not a product of unchangeable savage animal instincts within us, but the result of a universal psychosis caused by a clash between our instinct and intellect, and significantly since a psychosis can be healed with understanding, human behaviour is not unchangeable or immutable. So thankfully, with that redeeming answer to the human condition has now been found, rather than controlling our behaviour through discipling or controlling our thoughts, our psychological upset can actually subside and heal, and we can truly be liberated from the human condition.

Delia
This is amazingly mind blowing. At one point I just wanted to stop listening beause it was becoming confusing and very disturbing in the fact that where is God our heavenly father Jesus and the Holy spirit come into play now but being the curious person I am I needed to hear more so I continued listening. This had me thinking some deep thoughts mainly about the Bible teachings defining characters and behaviors of different individuals mentioned in the Bible. This is something that definitely needs to be heard about .
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Delia. What THE Interview explains really does represent a huge demystification of our world so there is a lot to think about and reconcile with our own views and life experience. It is helpful to keep in mind that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity it simply brings biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts (which perhaps you are discovering) and is actually a fufilment of the ideals of life upheld by all the great religions while the search for the liberating understanding of our corrupted condition was underway. The physicist Charles H. Townes summed up this ultimate reconciliation of science and religion best when he said, “they [science and religion] both represent man’s efforts to understand his universe and must ultimately be dealing with the same substance. As we understand more in each realm, the two must grow together…converge they must.” Our FAQs about religion are most helpful, especially FAQ 6.3 ‘Aren’t all Griffith’s demystifications of religious teachings going to be seen by supporters of religion as blasphemy? / Does understanding of the human condition undermine a faith in religion or God? / How does this affect my personal religious practice? / How can you reconcile the explanation of the human condition that defends the upset state with religious teachings that condemn upset?’.
Chandrika Shrestha
It’s enlightening about life!
Bengt Jürs
This solved my big problem why are there religions. It’s not our search for answers, it is remedy for a condition we ended up in 2 million years ago.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your insightful comment, Bengt. Yes, we can now understand that while the corrupting search for liberating knowledge was underway religion played a significant role as both the custodian of the ideal state and as a means of solace for those exhausted by the corrupting journey. However, it follows that with the redeeming biological understanding of why we had to depart from our original innocence now found, those faith-based accounts that looked after us are now redundant. In fact, what people discover is Jeremy Griffith’s work actually reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. In fact, it presents the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves, see FAQ 6.3.
Troy
Will do my part to spread the word.
Jeanette Carman
Yes quite amazing. This is the second time I’ve listened to it. Now I want to get the book Freedom to fully understand. This is not something that’s easy!!!
WTM Admin
That’s great, Jeanette, that you are persevering in your digestion of this breakthrough understanding. Even though the instinct vs intellect concept is very simple and resonates deeply with us, humans have had to live in such fear and denial of our corrupted condition it is common people find they need to watch THE Interview a few times to fully understand it all. We also recommend reading and/or watching the companion presentation to this interview titled The Great Guilt. It is an astonishingly revealing presentation by Jeremy Griffith in which he outlines more comprehensively the definition of our human condition, and why engagement with the subject can be initially hard to grasp (also see FAQ 1.16). And, if you want a good quick summary of the explanation, we recommend FAQ 1.3.
Karen
I’ve always believed that we are born guiltless + pure...society tries to change us but we can keep our innocence by loving....
WTM Admin
As THE Interview explains, all humans are born innocent “guiltless + pure” with loving moral instincts and that our species' psychosis is caused by the psychological upset that resulted from a clash between our emerging conscious mind and those pre-established instincts. Insitutions like religions, politics and society emerged to manage this psychosis, but they are not the cause of it. We can now understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless, “loving” way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it.
Steven Rockett
I’d like to explore this further. I need to reconcile what I was taught was the word of God telling me that Adam and Eve were disobedient and this idea that they were heroes.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment, Steven. As you’ve recognised, Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition brings biological understanding to religious accounts of our condition, which means we can at last reconcile science and religion. For instance, as THE Interview explains, the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were actually ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘disobedient’; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! It establishes that we are good and not bad after all. What THE Interview presents fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough. In terms of your further exploration, you might be interested in our FAQs about religion, as well as subscribing to the Freedom Essay series, which serves as a wonderfully comprehensive, free course as it guides you through much of the content of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM in beautifully illustrated bite-size pieces.

God’s inspiring message to change the world. The relationship between science and spiritual world is aligned and reconciled.
WTM Admin
For the benefit of readers of these comments it is important to stress that what is being presented is not religious, but is a rational, fully accountable, biological explanation of the human condition. However, the human condition is the realm of inquiry where science and religion overlap, so naturally in explaining the human condition religious references will be used, and through scientific explanation, finally demystified and reconciled. For example, we can now understand that what we have referred to as ‘God’ is the negative entropy-driven integrative tendency in the universe – you can read about God and negative entropy in FAQ 6.2.
Denise Brown
This theory is obvious to any person who thinks about it. We were taught about it in college. It’s a no brainer and has nothing to do with religion. As animals we just evolved as we learned, in nature, the strongest survive, not the nicest - rightly or wrongly.
WTM Admin
In Part 1 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith addresses the almost universal excuse for our angry, egocentric and alienated behaviour, which is that it is due to selfish, must-reproduce-our-genes, survival-of-the-fittest, ‘savage instincts’ within us, which is what you are advocating. However, with our psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated state now defended, it is now safe to admit that our human instincts are loving – see Part 3 of THE Interview. We also recommend FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’, which explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work.

This isn’t rocket science...ok, thank God we now have someone that has put into writing what has been happening forever. This is about taking responsibility for our thoughts, behaviours and actions. Not blaming everything/one outside of ourselves. This is about maturity our capacities to be human..we have choice and choice serves a function and comes at a cost. Taking responsibility for the decisions we make.

Encouraging and to be encouraged.

Thank you for the enthusiastic effort. I didn’t feel this was helpful and found it rather intellectual and dry. It lacked inspiration and did not reveal much of interest let alone rise to its claim of being transformational. No disrespect intended, just truthful reflection on my experience.

This is incredible and astonishing. This is bound to change the world. Thank you Jeremy for your fantastic work.

Thanks Alot 🙏

Astonishing insight.
Mahadevan Kasi
Superb experience. Indian epic Bhagavad Gita also explained the same point. Try reading it in detail and interpret scientifically.
WTM Admin
Thank you very much Mahadevan. Yes, religions have been a repository of truth during humanity’s long corrupting search to find knowledge, and so now that we finally have the scientific explanation of the human condition, what people discover is that, exactly as you say, we can ‘interpret scientifically’. Importantly, while religious accounts described our condition, as THE Interview explains, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents here. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ It was only through finding the rational, accountable, scientific understanding of our condition that we could finally bring peace to it. In fact, what people discover is that this represents a fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves: see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.
Video/Freedom Essay 53 expands on thinkers (both ancient and contemporary) who, while they could not explain it, did recognise the instinct and intellect elements involved in creating the human condition. It includes the following passage about human’s original ‘golden age’ of instinctive innocence from the Mahabharata (of which the Bhagavad Gita is a part): ‘The Hindus of the Brahmanic period preserved the following in the Mahābharata: “The Krita Yuga was so named because there was but one religion, and all men were saintly; therefore they were not required to perform religious ceremonies. Holiness never grew less, and the people did not decrease. There were no gods in the Krita Yuga, and there were no demons…Men neither bought nor sold; there were no poor and no rich; there was no need to labor, because all that men required was obtained by the power of will; the chief virtue was the abandonment of desires…In those times, men lived as long as they chose to live, and were without any fear of Yima (the god of Death)…Being all like gods, they ascended to the sky and returned at will…Self-subdued and free from envy, they beheld the gods and the mighty prophets, and had a clear perception of all duties.”…And in the Vaya Purāna it is written: “They were characterized neither by righteousness nor unrighteousness…they moved about at will and lived in continual delight.”’

I love learning about the mind and human behavior , why do people act the way they do. Why are some more productive and higher thinkers then others. I am grateful for this video.🌹🌹🌹🌹
Always searching for the truth.
Thank you I found this interview interesting and also questioning my own behaviours I am always searching for the truth as to why we are the way we are? And your findings gave me something to think of.
Wow
This breakthrough is creating a new world in the human inner environment.
So interesting. Gives hope for our species. We all need this right now. This is the time for humans to save ourselves. It’s all about the human condition; what it is, why it happened, how we can understand how we got here and how it can be changed.
I find this very astounding. I’ll be watching this at all times. I’m saving this article to show everyone I know and Love. Thank You
What an expository information on human nature. I really need his book for better catch up. It’s really awesome!👍
Well done
Very interesting and one thing I understand is that our violent nature does not come from our instinct to survive but from our confusion that came about from the “FALL”. However, life itself is violent and I know this because for every living thing to survive it must consume another living thing, humans included. The instinctual violence comes from not only having to kill to survive but also to kill in order not to be eaten. Live is designed to be violent. Was it that before the “Fall' live had other ways of sustaining itself? Was life before the ”FALL“ spiritual and life after the ”FALL" physical with new physical demands?
Outstanding what a positive step we need badly
What is this program about? Kindly give me more information.
So it can take a little time and perseverance to get your head around it this explanation but it’s well worth it as you can see from the daily ecstatic responses on our homepage — people everywhere are so relieved to finally be able to make sense of human life!Wow! This is mind blowing, eye opening, deeply esoteric knowledge that resonates my being, a single RACE! Humanity. Advocacy. Perceived perspective.
Using the nature of the Bonobo (love & Nurturing) as the example in their environment how does the love concept relate with a predator like a lion? How would a lion and a Bonobo live in harmony? Love your work Fellow Australian
So while love-indoctrination could allow unconditionally selfless behaviour to emerge in our ape ancestors, it was a very difficult, and also a very slow, process to both get underway and maintain.”Predation (or any disruption to their normal peaceful environment) after love-indoctrination had been established has a different effect. Both humans and bonobos now instinctively expect to be nurtured with unconditional love during infancy, and any disruption (such as predation) that prevented an infant receiving that love would cause them to experience extreme psychological anxiety. You can read about psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s treatment of an emotionally disturbed bonobo (Brian) in chapter 5:13 of FREEDOM.If only it will reach the masses...so very interesting. Thank you for sharing your insights 🌺
Hi Ann, thank you so much for your enthusiastic response to THE Interview! We absolutely agree that this breakthrough, world-saving understanding of the human condition needs to be disseminated as broadly as possible, which is why the WTM offers all its material free of charge. This includes Jeremy Griffith’s key books (including FREEDOM and THE Interview), which you can find HERE on our homepage. We also encourage everyone to share THE Interview and other WTM material to ensure it reaches as many people as possible all over the world.
The world needs to know this.
I can’t wait to read this!
Would love to read your book Freedom

You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you are particularly wanting a hard copy you can purchase them from Amazon or other good bookstores.
I hope this is as amazing as it seems.
I am very interested in this line of thinking.
Good to hear what i have understood for so many years now, and i just reached the age of 65. Thank you
Great to have your interest, Laurice!
This interview to me is mind blowing and believe we should share it for everyone in the world to hear. Thanks Almighty GOD for bringing this out at age and time. Thanks
Great!
A truly eye opening easy to understand explanation of our human internal conflicts, looking forward to implementing this knowledge further.
The Holy Grail book that can save the world.
I would like to know more about the information and see if it can transform my life to a better person who can live a happy life in this world.
Well it is all on our website waiting for you, Percy! Thank you so much for your comment, Rose. While THE Interview is stand-alone, we do recommend everyone should read FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition, which is Jeremy Griffith’s definitive presentation of this redeeming, reconciling and rehabilitating explanation of the human condition.
Judgement is not an understanding of species.,
Certainly all animals have instincts shaped by millions of years of natural selection, and they are ‘selfish’ instincts, devoted to reproduction and survival.
Interesting and uplifting!
Bless you
Confusion cleared
This is a very interesting theme and subject
I hear echos of a “Course in Miracles”.
Unbelievably makes sense of what’s really going on with humans
Quite informative, eye opening.

The best thing I ever got in my life
Great!
Very interesting. Would like to hear more about solutions.
It’s good to know. I want to understand this inside and outside
Dream on
Hi Robert, the astonishing claims being made about Jeremy Griffith’s work do warrant initial scepticism, however the beauty of these ideas is that they are fully accountable, scientific explanations, so people can follow the logic and judge for themselves if it makes sense of existence – see FAQ 1.9 ‘Should people be sceptical of the claims made about biologist Jeremy Griffith’s work?’. Also, people might like to look at the outstanding commendations his work has received from leading thinkers and scientists on our homepage here.

Thank you for this
Refreshing
This is the Rossetta Stone of the explanation of the Human Condition.
Supports what I have been feeling, if we had a female centered world, we would not be constantly destroyed by male testosterone-raging beings!
It’s what we all needed..
Very interesting and impressive presentation. Even though a very technical subject at least I learned something. Thank you
The best way so far, in finding answers to Human Condition, through the understanding of why "We Do What We Do. As well as bridging the gap between Science and Religion.
One must learn to self control the mind. Our thinking manisfest our thoughts,it depends on how you manifest to negative or positive outcome.
This is what I have lived for 73 years to believe in and now to hear. There is still hope for the survival of mankind ... with this knowledge.
I’m interested to know this theory & philosophy & thinking 🤔
Really, it is the turning point of the world’s perception about human behavior.
It’s enlightening about life!
This solved my big problem why are there religions. It’s not our search for answers, it is remedy for a condition we ended up in 2 million years ago.
Will do my part to spread the word.
Yes quite amazing. This is the second time I’ve listened to it. Now I want to get the book Freedom to fully understand. This is not something that’s easy!!!
I’ve always believed that we are born guiltless + pure...society tries to change us but we can keep our innocence by loving....
I’d like to explore this further. I need to reconcile what I was taught was the word of God telling me that Adam and Eve were disobedient and this idea that they were heroes.

Amazing, let’s make this world a great place like years back
Thank you, Joshua. Yes, the redeeming explanation of the human condition allows us to return to a cooperative, loving state that is millions of years old, with the big difference being that this time it will be in a fully conscious way; as the poet T.S. Eliot anticipated, ‘We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time’ (Little Gidding, 1942).
Insightful, enlightening, thought-provoking.
That’s so true and amazing. I’m watching from Guyana 🇬🇾

Amazing insight
Love listening to this interview
God’s inspiring message to change the world. The relationship between science and spiritual world is aligned and reconciled.
This theory is obvious to any person who thinks about it. We were taught about it in college. It’s a no brainer and has nothing to do with religion. As animals we just evolved as we learned, in nature, the strongest survive, not the nicest - rightly or wrongly.
Amazing
Thoroughly enjoyed this interview. My prayers are always for a kinder loving human race. In order to survive as a living species we need to take care of each other and our beautiful planet.
I also was inspired and totally related to what Jeremy explained. I am sharing as much as possible but its a process, music is my next approach. I am no Jimi Hendrix, through music we can change the world.
I would love to learn more of this and teach this!
I’m looking forward to watching and learning!
Can’t stop ... Won’t stop ... Spreading the GOOD LIBERATION news ...
Electrifyingly thought provoking. It is time the world governments rose in chorus to act in unision to contemplate and act fast to rehabilitate the human race. Time is too precious for human survival. Thank you.
I need to know more about human condition. It is a must for today
Very insiring and makes absolute total sense. I hope that we can all adapt to this way of thinking peacefully and joyfully.
I believe it’s crucial to incorporate this information into school curriculums, publish a book, and create an audio format for broader accessibility. This kind of significant information deserves widespread coverage, including in the news.
Hi Margaret, thank you so much for your enthusiastic response to THE Interview. We absolutely agree that this breakthrough, world-saving understanding of the human condition needs to be disseminated as broadly as possible, which is why the WTM offers all material free of charge. This includes audios, and many other formats, of Jeremy Griffith’s key books (including THE Interview), which you can find HERE on our homepage. Just click ‘Get your copy for FREE!’ to see all the formats and translations that are available. We are still in the process of completing the audiobook of FREEDOM, however chapters 1-7 are now available. Also, all the hundreds of audios of most of our books, essays and videos are now in the WTM App (which you can download for free and there is no sign in required at App Store or Google Play) and on Spotify. We also encourage everyone to share THE Interview and other WTM material to ensure it reaches as many people as possible all over the world. As a student eager to learn, I have arrived a destination to regenerate my curiosity to know. I cannot keep back this experience. It’s worth sharing. I recommend Jeremy’s ideology for the generations ahead.
I’m astonished.
More than good news!
Superb experience. Indian epic Bhagavad Gita also explained the same point. Try reading it in detail and interpret scientifically.
In fact, what people discover is that this represents a fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves: see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.Video/Freedom Essay 53 expands on thinkers (both ancient and contemporary) who, while they could not explain it, did recognise the instinct and intellect elements involved in creating the human condition. There were no gods in the Krita Yuga, and there were no demons…Men neither bought nor sold; there were no poor and no rich; there was no need to labor, because all that men required was obtained by the power of will; the chief virtue was the abandonment of desires…In those times, men lived as long as they chose to live, and were without any fear of Yima (the god of Death)…Being all like gods, they ascended to the sky and returned at will…Self-subdued and free from envy, they beheld the gods and the mighty prophets, and had a clear perception of all duties.”…And in the Vaya Purāna it is written: “They were characterized neither by righteousness nor unrighteousness…they moved about at will and lived in continual delight.”’It’s amazing I want to see it all
Your explanation is well said, there are some people that aren’t able to see themselves as reason for their actions can be the problem
Why has this not taken the world totally by surprise. Revolutionized the psychiatric world
Very interesting perspective.
