Very interesting…. So much to take in and understand.. I feel a failure as a mother… although I know I did the best at the time… I was so selfish… Love this explanation.. thank you ❤️🙏🏼

Thank you Shushila, for your honest response to THE Interview. It is wonderful to have your interest. The significance and profundity of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition does takes some time to absorb, but the more you do absorb it, the more you realise just how all-redeeming, all-reconciling and all-liberating it is! As he explains in Part 1 all humans are born with an instinctive self or soul that is perfectly aligned to a cooperative and selfless way of living and that humans’ upset and selfish behaviour is not a product of savage animal instincts within us, but the result of a universal psychosis caused by the unavoidable clash between our instinct and intellect. With this compassionate understanding we can know all our best efforts were very heroic indeed as we can now appreciate that humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge compromised our ability to nurture our children to the extent their instincts expect. But now that that preoccupation ends we can safely acknowledge the absolute importance of nurturing in our species’ development (see also Jeremy’s Freedom Essay 21) and in the individual development of children (see chapter 8:16C of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM). Also, to quote chapter 6:13 of FREEDOM titled, Nurturing now becomes a priority: “now that we have found that very good reason why parents have been unable to nurture their children with anything like the unconditional love children instinctively expect and need, it is no longer necessary to deny the importance of nurturing both in the maturation of our species and in our own lives. Yes, with the arrival of understanding the terrible guilt that parents have felt for not being able to adequately nurture their offspring departs. Parents can now understand that their inability to adequately love their offspring is not their fault, but the product of the ever-accumulating levels of upset in the human race as a whole that resulted from our species’ heroic 2-million-year search for knowledge, specifically for self-knowledge, understanding of why we conscious humans are good and not bad. So yes, we can finally now admit the importance of nurturing and turn our attention back to the nurturing of our offspring—in fact, it now becomes a matter of great urgency that we do both these things.”

He never explained why it isn’t taught in school
WTM Admin
Hi Christopher, it does take time to fully absorb all that is presented in one viewing but Jeremy Griffith does answer this question in Part 3 of THE Interview titled ‘If the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation is so obvious, why weren’t we taught this at school?’. He explains this critical science is new and therefore isn’t mainstream yet. Also this new scientific paradigm is based on confronting rather than the historic practice of avoiding the issue of the human condition which has been an anathema for mechanistic science. He explains this in Part 2 when he points out that the issue of the human condition has been such a denied and off-limits subject that confronting it represents the “biggest of all blasphemies”, and how “science progresses funeral by funeral” when it comes to supporting big paradigm shifts like this. We suggest you re-watch THE Interview and you may find the following FAQs helpful as well. FAQ 1.2 ‘How does science currently explain the human condition?’, FAQ 1.3 ‘What is biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition?’ and FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream? / If these ideas are so true and important then why haven’t I heard of them?’

I would like to know how it help us to know, what you are saying.Tell me how we should do? How can en grid be change to sharing or hatred to lowe. How we should do it. It should be as we chaneed to driving from left to right. One week, and all people start be good. So tell us how you think we should do?
I always thought that it must be evil so wi will appreciated the good.
Maybe i don’t understand it at all.
WTM Admin
Hi Milada, we recommend re-watching THE Interview as given this new science presents a paradigm shift in how we understand ourselves there is a lot to digest. Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview all humans are born with all-loving, moral instincts but we now suffer from a universal psychosis caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. We became psychologically upset and alienated from our original selfless state because of our conscious mind’s necessary, and indeed heroic, search for knowledge. We can now understand our selfish, competitive and destructive behaviour became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. So with the dark side of our nature now truthfully explained and defended and our fundamental goodness established, we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly, we no longer have to prove our worth. This brings about the real and lasting transformation of our lives and means we can now legitimately return to a selfless way of living, and then the repair from the effects of our distressed human condition on every aspect of life on earth will start in earnest. While the practical application of this understanding is as simple as the concept itself, as explained in our FAQs 1.4 to 1.6, the reality is that we have necessarily had to live in denial of the human condition for so long that even though you might understand the concept, it typically takes a little more time to bring the explanation back to yourself and see how it does work in our everyday lives. So we suggest your re-watch THE Interview, read these FAQs and visit our Transformation page which contains invaluable insight and personal affirmations. We’d especially recommend you join our Facebook Group because there is much practical and inspiring discussion taking place about this immensely relieving and transforming knowledge!

STEUPS!!! This is NOT what I know, see and understand in the world in which I live!!! This explanation makes no sense!!! All this reliance to the biblical story the beginnings of human life is limiting. We are all born and develop into adults, with varying gifts of intelligence, goodness and health, depending on where their life leads them!!!
WTM Admin
We respect people’s differing opinions Danielle but it is important to clarify that biologist Jeremy Griffith does not rely on the biblical story of Adam and Eve he mentions in this interview (and what you must be referring to) to explain the human condition. Rather Jeremy uses this story by Moses, along with examples from other thinkers both ancient and contemporary, to illustrate where the basic instinct vs intellect elements involved in producing the human condition have been previously recognised. These other thinkers include Plato, Hesiod, Richard Heinberg, Eugène Marais, Paul MacLean and Arthur Koestler. Jeremy goes on from there to explain what has been missing from the analysis of all these other thinkers was the ability to explain WHY this conflict occurred—which is that while gene-based naturally selected instincts give species orientations to the world, only the nerve-based conscious intellect can understand cause and effect and thus manage change; so when the fully conscious mind emerged and began managing change from a basis of understanding the instincts were in effect intolerant of such experiments, putting them at odds with the intellect. This understanding of WHY the conflict between our instincts and intellect occurred that Jeremy presents is all-important because it is only this clarifying, redeeming and reconciling explanation of the nature of the struggle between our instinctive self and conscious self that at last brings peace to our divided selves, and transforms the human race. As Professor Harry Prosen, a former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, has said: “I have no doubt this biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.” We suggest our FAQ 1.3 which provides a summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept presented in THE Interview and FAQ 1.13 ‘How does biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition differ from other theories that recognise these elements?
Robert
I think what this gentleman is saying is that the difference between a carnally minded entity & the ability to question is obviously the result of hindsight or introspection. A Lion is not able to perceive the Zebras perspective whilst devouring it, if it had the capacity it would immediately cease being a Lion. The motivation for carnal behaviour is instinctual & the only way to override the impulsive behaviour is to utilise the ability to question motivation. I know from personal experience that asking fundamental questions regarding impulsive behaviour begets answers that actually cause an upheaval in one’s own Life, so much so that it is virtually impossible to transfer the redults to those that are still operating at the behavioural level. This idea of right & wrong is none existent if you are carnally minded be-cause one is operating from instinct instead of reason. Those that are carnally minded are being punished for something that they could not help doing. Only in Hindsight can one become rational! As I have said there’s absolutely no way of conveying this to someone who is an active part of Society because Society is a pack mentality that operated as a hierarchy & not from reason. The ability to question is the only way out of the conundrum Humans have been in for 2,225 years Anno Domini. The ability to question is what breaks the spell. There’s no one within Society that is not occupied with using one another as a means to an end, the behaviour is no different than within any Animal pack in Nature. The Data gathered from the Animal Kingdom regarding behaviour is exactly the same as with Society. It’s quite extraordinary really. The fundamental question on why Society is formed in the first place, the need for a belief system at all is obviously the catalyst for disbanding the same. But that cannot happen except from oneself. This demonstrates that there are 2 aspects to us, one part is obviously the redeemer. Kind regards. Robert
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Robert. So Jeremy is not subscribing to the idea that our selfish, aggressive, “carnal” behaviour is instinctive which, as he also explains, is an almost universally held (but false) view. And most significantly, since a psychosis can be healed with understanding, human behaviour is not unchangeable or immutable which a revelation that transforms the human race! As Jeremy says in Part 1 “And it is actually really good news that our behaviour is due to a conscious-mind-based psychologically troubled condition because psychoses can be healed with understanding. If our competitive and aggressive behaviour was due to us having savage instincts then we would be stuck with that born-with, hard-wired, innate behaviour. It would mean we could only ever hope to restrain and control those supposedly brutal instincts. But since our species’ divisive behaviour is due to a psychosis, that divisive behaviour can be cured with healing understanding. So that is very good news. In fact, incredibly exciting news, because with understanding we can finally end our psychologically troubled human condition. It’s the understanding of ourselves that we needed to heal the pain in our brains and become sound and sane again.”
Yes there are two parts of ourselves our loving instinctive self and our conscious mind and as we can now see our conscious mind is the redeemer but not because it could try and “override the impulsive behaviour” but because its heroic search for knowledge found the scientific explanation that obseletes the need to be selfish and aggressive. As is explained in Part 2 it is science that is the liberator or saviour of mankind. The host Craig Conway summarises that, “science’s discovery of the way genes and nerves work has finally made it possible for the liberation of humanity from the horror of the human condition”, to which Jeremy replies, “Yes, that is the essential truth: science is the liberator, the so-called ‘messiah’ or ‘redeemer’ of humankind, as we always hoped it would be!”
This critical new science introduces a paradigm shift in understanding so re-watching THE Interview is recommended and how humans acquired our cooperative and loving instincts is explained in Part 3 which solves one of the greatest mysteries in biology. To quote: “how we acquired our moral instincts has been one of the greatest mysteries in biology. The primatologist Richard Wrangham described it as “A question that has lain unsolved at the core of biology ever since Darwin’ (review of E.O. Wilson’s 2019 book Genesis: The Deep Origin of Societies). And Darwin himself described it as the ‘one special difficulty’ with his concept of natural selection (On The Origin of Species, 1859, p.209 of 440).” Also our FAQ 5.2 ‘How did we humans acquire our all-loving, unconditionally selfless moral conscience?/ What do the nurtured and cooperative bonobos tell us about our own evolutionary heritage?’ is most helpful.

WTM Admin
We appreciate your perseverence Miran and perhaps our FAQ 1.3 which briefly presents the explanation may be helpful. We suggest that the fundamental explanation is very simple, but, as explained in THE Interview, the human condition is the most fearful of subjects because it’s the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad, and our fear of going anywhere near this fundamental question can create resistance and cause an initial ‘deaf effect’ which makes ‘hearing’ and comprehending the explanation difficult. FAQ 1.16 comprehensively explains this initial ‘deaf effect’ as it answers the question ‘Why can’t I understand what this is all about?’. Also, the presentation that follows THE Interview, titled The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect comprehensively deals with our understandable fear and cynicism about confronting the human condition. It includes examples of people overcoming the deaf effect and it is an astonishingly revealing presentation. As well FAQ 5.5 answers your question ‘Aren’t other animals capable of conscious thought like humans?’ So we recommend you read thes FAQs and also watch or read The Great Guilt as patient perseverence is the key to opening up this new paradigm of knowledge.

Se podrá explicar esto sin entrar en cuestiones Religiosas. Solo explicar que tenemos que encontrar la conciencia por nuestra cuenta sin discusiones sobre dogmas? [Can this be explained without getting into religious issues? Just explain that we have to find our own conscience without discussing dogma? (translated from Spanish)]
WTM Admin
Hi Ruben, the study of the human condition is the study of humans’ capacity for acts of both so-called ‘good and evil’—of why, when the ideals are to be cooperative loving and selfless are we capable of incredible aggression and selfishness. This realm of inquiry is where science and religion overlap, so naturally in explaining the human condition the terms ‘good and evil’ and religious references will be used, and through scientific explanation, finally demystified and reconciled. For instance Jeremy Griffith explains in this interview Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. Jeremy’s work represents a reconciliation of science and religion, see FAQ 1.15 ‘If this is a biological explanation why are there religious references?’
Christine
This places a new spin on generational trauma. Wow! On the surface (as I’ve not yet read the book) this theory would certainly go a long way in explaining the evil that is committed by many humans.
WTM Admin
Yes, every generation is born into, and thus traumatised, by a world that carries the accumulated psychological upset of all those that came before, going all the way back to the emergence of the human condition some 2 million years ago; so you can see that we are now a very psychologically upset species, carrying volcanic rage and capable of all sorts of atrocities.
With regard to reading Jeremy’s book FREEDOM, you can immediately access a copy on the World Transformation Movement homepage under the ‘WHAT NEXT’ section. Robert Fricker
Hi I fully understand the content of this interview butI can’t understand how knowledge of it will save the world?
Man will just keep going as it is. Controlled by government, propaganda and false beliefs.
What do you suggest man should do now? Before concsiousness life seemed good. We can’t go back to a time without it now. The fall has happened.
I think the only way man is saved if a common enemy such as alien invasion draws people together, a cull, a new beginning without the ties that bind us. Alternatively we could all move into a solitude lifestyle and practice practicing love through our off spring. So sorry I had no intention of being negative I just can’t see why the knowledge of this changes anything. Appreciate a lay mans suggestion.
WTM Admin
There is a huge amount to get your head around Robert, which takes a little time. You are right that we can’t go back to a time before the ‘fall’ i.e. before the human condition emerged in our species, but what we can do, is understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness, so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. This is the rapidly transforming effect of being able to understand the human condition. You may enjoy our Freedom Essay 15 about how this understanding transforms our thinking, to quote: “it is not a revolution that involves warfare and bloodshed like so many revolutions in the past, but a peaceful revolution that is driven by irrefutable knowledge/understanding. We humans are conscious beings and what consciousness needs is understanding, and now we have it. Ultimately, we humans respond to knowledge—anything less was bound to be ineffective. This is the real and lasting transformation that the human race has lived in hope, faith and trust would one day occur. It is the revolution of our minds.”
Because all our institutions, including our governments and media, have been a manifestation of our insecure, psychologically upset condition, addressing the source of our selfish psychological upset actually brings about lasting change and stops the destruction of our world that is happening everywhere we look. We recommend FAQ 1.40 ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power?’

During my studies: I noticed some people don’t know they have a conscience. They have no filter. Once it’s introduced, they argue until they come to realize, they do infact realize they’re begining to notice how their non filtered thinking causes them to react poorly. That when they filter before reacting - the outcome was not hurtful towards others. The outcome is better. Love this interview to know Drs are still interested in learning and teaching, in 2025. Thank you
WTM Admin
Great to have your interest, KC. It is astonishing to finally have the human condition solved and be able to understand why we have become so alienated and estranged from our true self as to have lost our self-awareness. This is what is so extraordinary about Jeremy Griffith’s biological treatise, it honestly confronts, explains and defends our upset human condition (our anger, egocentricity and alienation). Only through understanding the dark side of ourselves can we free ourselves from the human condition and truly become self-aware again.
Lee
Mind blowing and explanations make sense.
Joe Shallis
I agree with this work 100%! I have had a deep emotional and psychological understanding of this since childhood and would very much like to get involved with your work. Beautiful !
WTM Admin
That is wonderful Joe. Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s work has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? Our endeavours in philosophy, psychology and biology have failed, until now, to provide a truthful, real, fully accountable, genuinely clarifying explanation. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here.
Samuel Sewell
So. The supposed guilt of flesh is not natural? It has been embedded by religion and unhealthy ideas of individuality, uniqueness, and alienation. Didn’t Jesus basically correlate the idea of this? Religious interpretation has misconstrued his basic message of peace, love your brother, and we’re are all in this together. I got that. So what happens when we leave here not having made a decision of “saviors”? No Muhammad, no Jesus, budda. It’s all us? We are all on.? I’m going to have to wrap my head around this.. bare with me. It has been engrained in my life for 40+ yrs and the DNA of my ancestors. I need a few days to digest this.
WTM Admin
There is a lot to digest here Samuel, so you definitely need to take your time to digest it all. We recommend watching THE Interview a few times. While religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. Not only can we now understand that our original instinctive orientation is loving and cooperative, we can also understand that our competitive, aggressive, destructive, even seemingly ‘evil’ behaviour was an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. So the cause of our guilt was not “religion and unhealthy ideas of individuality, uniqueness, and alienation” but the instinct vs intellect clash. And what you will come to realise is that this understanding defends our so-called ‘dark side’ and explains that despite all appearances to the contrary, all humans are ‘good’, removing humanity’s great burden of guilt. And by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to return to that loving, selfless state. You might find our FAQs on religion informative.

Poverty and greed are two of the worlds worst things that cause these conditions.
WTM Admin
We’d like to suggest because this critical new science introduces a massive paradigm shift in the way we view ourselves and the world it can take some time to see the human condition is driven by one force and that is our psychologically upset state. As FAQ 1.1 ‘What is the human condition?’ discusses it is not uncommon for people to think that the term ‘human condition’ refers to the state of poverty and inequality and other practical hardships and imperfections in human life, but such problems are only manifestations and aspects of the human condition. As THE Interview explains all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by us humans and it’s that underlying issue — our destructively behaved, so-called ‘human condition’ — that has to be addressed and fixed if we are to find a solution to our problems and this is precisely what Jeremy Griffith has delivered with his first principle-based biological understanding of the human condition (see FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’). We hope these links help with you consideration, William.
Chance Chidumula
So should we say this really makes the beginning of the Golden age course that I can say about this interview is that it’s mind blowing
WTM Admin
Yes, this does mark the beginning of a new Golden Age. All the great religions and all our great mythologies recognize that our species came from a ‘Golden Age’, a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving ideals of life, and with this reconciling understanding of the human condition, humanity will be able to legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. Of course, the big difference is that this time we will be completely conscious - as T.S. Eliot wrote, “We shall not cease from exploration / And the end of all our exploring / Will be to arrive where we started / And know the place for the first time.”
Gene Clark
We most definitely need this understanding

It’s great
April
It’s really gd I’m sure but it’s hard to understand ill have to listen again
WTM Admin
Hi April, the breakthrough explanation of the human condition presents a massive paradigm shift in our thinking so it’s natural to need to take time to digest all it reveals. As Jeremy Griffith describes, the human condition has historically been such a fearful, off-limits topic and the mind simply needs time to ride out the initial shock of having it broached and all manner of mystery unlocked. We encourage re-watching THE Interview and looking at the Introductory Videos on the WTM homepage because the more you do absorb this explanation, the more you realise just how all-clarifying, all-redeeming, all-reconciling, all-healing, all-liberating it is!

Paul Burgess
I can’t accept this synthesis of personally-selected anecdotes and quotes as valid science, and therefore would suggest it be lcearly marked as ‘speculative’. The sweeping hyperbole from the presenter and the talker are black-and-white statements with no supporting evidence. The opening suggestion that competing genes results in aggression is a mis-reading of Dawkins‘ ’Selfish Gene' as he made clear in later books. I see no scientific papers with proposals for studies or experiments which can be tested as repeatable, and falsifiable (per Popper, K). So it’s not science. This most complex field is vastly oversimplified here. Interesting, but no cigar.
WTM Admin
Dear Paul, we greatly appreciate your interest in Jeremy Griffith’s treatise on the human condition. As Jeremy explains in chapters 2:4 and 2:12 of FREEDOM, human-condition-avoiding, mechanistic, reductionist, deductive science is an extremely limited and compromised form of science. As Templeton Prize-winning biologist Charles Birch, who was Jeremy’s professor of biology at Sydney University, said, “[mechanistic] science can’t deal with subjectivity [the issue of our psychologically distressed condition]…what we were all taught in universities is pretty much a dead end” and “Biology has not made any real advance since Darwin”. Indeed, mechanistic science is now so farcically dishonest and discredited in the public’s mind that many people have lost interest in it to the point of dismissing it as of no real use to us in terms of being able to understand and manage our behaviour! Freedom Essay/Video 14 makes this discreditation very clear.
Thankfully mechanistic science can now be replaced by human-condition-confronting-and-solving, truthful, holistic, inductive science—but of course the established, entrenched, traditional mechanistic scientific paradigm resists this massive paradigm shift. It does this by ignoring the new synthesis, as well as using such outrageously dishonest and irresponsible claims as ‘the new synthesis presents no new data’, is an ‘untestable’ and ‘non-falsifiable’ hypothesis, and is therefore not even science! As is explained in FAQ 1.10, these accusations are transparently false and nothing more than the dying tremors of an old, extremely flawed form of dishonest science that has lived way past its used by date and is rapidly taking humanity to extinction!
For clarity, Jeremy is not subscribing to the idea that our selfish, aggressive behaviour is the result of ‘selfish genes’ within us, rather he is saying that it is an almost universally held (but false) view. As he says in THE Interview, “I mean, our conversations are saturated with this belief, with comments like: ‘We are programmed by our genes to try to dominate others and be a winner in the battle of life’; and ‘Our preoccupation with sexual conquest is due to our primal instinct to sow our seeds’; and ‘Men behave abominably because their bodies are flooded with must-reproduce-their-genes-promoting testosterone’; and ‘We want a big house because we are innately territorial’; and ‘Fighting and war is just our deeply-rooted combative animal nature expressing itself’.”
It really is at the 11th hour that the often highly intellectualised, sophisticated-in-the-art-of-denial, pretentious, makes-it-seem-like-unreachable-knowledge-for-the-average-person, scientific presentations from the ivory towers of human-condition-avoiding academia are at last replaced by truthful, sensible, fully accountable, relatively simple and straightforward, soul-ualised not intellect-ualised scientific presentations, which is what FREEDOM provides for the human race.

Honest truth
Johnson Omurwa
This explanation of human condition will even make the explanation of human condition in the Bible clearer.
WTM Admin
Yes Johnson, Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition brings biological understanding to religious accounts of our condition. For instance, as THE Interview explains, the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were actually ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! It establishes that we are good and not bad after all. What THE Interview presents fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough. You might be interested in our FAQs about religion.

Although I find the theory and explanations compelling, real-world experience would hint at naivety. Daily life experiences are brutal, and dealing with them is extraordinarily difficult. To dismiss the crutch that modern support systems provide is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater . Some combination of both would seem to be more appropriate.

There is no suggestion that anything is going to be ‘thrown out’; what is happening is that ‘understanding’ is being introduced to the world, namely the biological defence of why we had to defy our loving instincts, and with that understanding, all the artificial defences for our behaviour, namely our angry, egocentric and alienated behaviour naturally become redundant, which means that our ‘real world’ is going to change. As Jeremy says in Freedom Essay 15, “It is this particular undeniable consequence of the arrival of understanding of the human condition of the transformation of our lives from living selfishly and competitively to living selflessly and cooperatively that is going to eventually catch on as being the right response now for everyone and when it does, it will spread like wildfire across our planet, and save the world. And it is not a revolution that involves warfare and bloodshed like so many revolutions in the past, but a peaceful revolution that is driven by irrefutable knowledge/understanding.

Is there a remote chance that humans can reverse this thinking process?
WTM Admin
As with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it may take time for people to realise this is the universal solution we have all sought to all the problems we face, however, once this starts to catch on, it will catch on like wildfire because nothing in the world can compare to the excitement and joy of finally being liberated from the human condition. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change very difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is also summarised in FAQ 1.5. We also strongly recommend reading FAQ 1.40 which specifically addresses your question of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”
So, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM, while “this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point we are well on our way as you can see from the excitement and relief in our daily ecstatic responses to THE Interview, and in the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work from thought leaders and WTM Centre founders all over the world, all of which you can read on our World Transformation Movement homepage.

Anden De Trut
Please tell me how this breakthrough can help us on a daily basis.
I understand the principle .so how do we fix us ?
WTM Admin
Hi Anden, the practical application of this understanding is as simple as the concept itself but the reality is that we have necessarily had to live in denial of the human condition for so long that even though you understand the concept, it typically takes a little more time to bring the explanation back to yourself and see how they apply to our everyday lives and make for a better life. As Jeremy Griffith explains in this interview, and its companion presentation The Great Guilt, how our historic fear of the human condition has made us live in denial of it so it naturally takes a little time to break through that denial and see the full significance of at last being able to make sense of the great paradox of human life, how we humans are good when we appear to be the complete opposite.
As is summarised in WTM FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 no matter who we are, having understanding of the human condition will completely transform our life into the most wonderful existence imaginable. This is because this explanation gives us the ability, for the first time ever, to understand every aspect of human behaviour in ourselves and in everyone else with 100% clarity and confidence. It will change how you view humans, and most importantly yourself—and your behaviour will change naturally as a result, and just as quickly.
In summary, with the dark side of our nature truthfully explained and defended and our fundamental goodness established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly, we no longer have to prove our worth. We can now legitimately return to a selfless way of living and this is the transforming effect of being able to understand the human condition. Our conscious thinking brain finally has knowledge/ explanation/ insight into our seemingly horribly flawed human condition, and given time to absorb it, our psychologically troubled human condition, and all the problems that resulted in ourselves and the world can be fixed.
To conclude, we can now know that our psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We are finally able to understand all the pain and horror and place it in this true and honest denial-free framework of knowledge and we can deeply know and absorb just how truly special, meaningful and beautiful it’s all actually been. This explanation of the human condition actually lifts the burden of guilt from the shoulders of the human race, it ends the condemnation that we humans have had to endure for so long.

I stand in awe.... beautiful

Stunning.

Andrew Grafton
A gospel for the humanist biologist. The Christian Gospel deals with the human natures: repentance and acceptance of forgiveness. Your ‘redemption’ is to declare ‘we are good, not bad, after all’. Spinoza [1632] felt we humans as part of the universe, therefore creatures of ‘cause and effect’ means free will is an illusion. I like the concept of a genetic set of predetermined behavioural actions, alongside a ‘nervous’ system intellect aspect. I’m not convinced your ‘salvation’, which is basically having knowledge of this nature, can set us free - well free from guilt - will lead to a new creation. Very idealistic. Also, there is a leap of faith in projecting back into how our ancestors lives, thought, in harmony. Pandora is ‘out the box’, and wishing it wasn’t so won’t put the ‘knowledge of good and evil’ into a ‘reset’ of our human nature. I like your take on the woke/progressive/ Marxist attempt to force human nature to be kind and giving, which ultimately ends up being authoritarian in nature.
Some good food for thought, but bear in mind many humans struggle with critical thinking and it takes a certain intellect to even understand what you are talking about!
Good luck with your new age religion, and telling people we no longer have to live selfishly. Somehow I feel accepting our duel nature [good and bad], leading to acceptance of our imperfections and need for forgiveness, and learn to live a new life modelled on Jesus of Nazareth will lead to a better world. We are fallen angels perhaps.
WTM Admin
Hi Andrew, what biologist Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview is not humanism or a religion or new age. It is first principle scientific explanation of our human condition. Also THE Interview is a 4-part summary presentation but Jeremy does refer the audience to references where aspects of the explanation are more comprehensively explained and evidenced, especially in his definitive book FREEDOM.
Humanism does focus on the belief that all people are inherently good but the great breakthrough Jeremy’s treatise represents is he explains how we biologically acquired our all-loving cooperative instincts (presented in Part 3) and solves the core question of the human condition, of ‘why, when the ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish?’ by clarifying the difference between the way the intellect and instincts work. The critical distinction being that the gene-based refinement system is only capable of orientating a species, whereas the nerve-based refinement system has the potential to understand the nature of change (presented in Part 1).
So, unlike humanisim, we now have the rational, accountable explanation that defends humans at the most fundamental level, and it follows that this has logical consequences in terms of our behaviour. These consequences are not “idealism”, but rational consequences of being able to understand the source of our behaviour (see FAQ 6.5 which explains this critical difference between Jeremy’s work and religious or new age pseudo-idealism). In short, now that we can explain and understand the conflict between instinct and intellect, all the insecure, defensive behaviours we had to employ while we didn’t have that explanation are now obsoleted.
As Part 4, titled ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’ explains it will take a number of generations for the upset within us to be completely healed but it also stresses importantly we can be immediately free of its effects. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. This is the rapidly transforming practical effect of being able to understand the human condition which is fully explained and illustrated on our our Transformation page. Also FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 explain the far-reaching application of this explanation and Freedom Essay 15 is all about ‘How understanding the human condition can immediately transform your and every other human’s life and save the world’.
With regard to your concern that the ‘Pandora’s box’ is now open i.e. that the world is now too ‘upset’ to save, we would suggest reading our FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions ‘isn’t it too late to save the world? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ and explains that even those who are most committed to seeking validation through gaining power and wealth, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, biological explanation of the human condition that establishes our worth at the most fundamental level. Basically, so exciting and relieving is this breakthrough, and the freedom from the human condition that is now on offer, that everyone will want it, and so it will catch on like wildfire and this is already happening. Just explore our homepage where you can see the growing momentum of support that is building around the world for this breakthrough with the thousands of impressive commendations Jeremy’s work has received from thought leaders and members of the public and the over 80 WTM Centres that have opened across the globe.
With regard to your second concern, that it is a “leap of faith” or “projection” to say that our species has a loving and cooperative past, we suggest the evidence is now incontrovertible. For example, it is now clear that on the basis of physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, that the cooperative and gentle bonobo chimpanzee represents a far better model of our human ancestors than the common chimpanzee (Jeremy explains this in Part 2 and the evidence is presented in detail in chapter 5 of FREEDOM). Reduced canine size is particularly relevant as it is a defining features of the hominin clade, and universally accepted as an indication of reduced aggression (of all the non-human primates, bonobos have the smallest canines). All this evidence has lead the prominent anthropologist C. Owen Lovejoy to write that “our species-defining cooperative mutualism can now be seen to extend well beyond the deepest Pliocene [well beyond 5.3 mya]”. In FREEDOM Jeremy also includes analysis of the sensitivity and gentleness of so-called primitive peoples, such as the San Bushmen and the Australian Aborigines, as well as evidence from mythology of a ‘golden age’ of innocence in chapter 2:7. There is also evidence provided by the astonishing sensitivity to paleolithic rock painting in chapter 8:11C. The entire chapter 8 is a revealing application of the ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny principle to human evolution, showing a journey from innocent childhood to psychologically upset adulthood. (In Part 3 Jeremy explains how the selfish process of natural selection was able to create loving selflessness in our forebears through nurturing; and Freedom Essay 21 and chapter 5 of FREEDOM explain this ‘love-indoctrination’ process, as Jeremy has termed it, more fully).
We hope that is of assistance Andrew. Ultimately what is presented is the first principle scientific explanation of our human condition, which has never happened before and is what makes all the difference. This is why people such as Professor Harry Prosen, former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, have described Jeremy’s book FREEDOM as “the book that saves the world.”
William
Please read Genesis 1.1
10 words that explain life in 10 words.
Man, as always, just complicates simplicity.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your thoughts William and for the benefit of other readers Genesis 1.1 says “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”. We certainly respect people’s religious views and feel it is important to mention for readers of these comments that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being, as is explained in THE Interview, as being the integrative meaning of life . To quote our FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ “There is actually a very obvious direction and purpose to existence, which is the ordering or integration of matter into ever larger and more stable wholes... So the theme or purpose or meaning of existence is the ordering or integration of matter, a process that is driven by the physical law of Negative Entropy... So, ‘God’ is the personification of Integrative Meaning” We also recommend FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’. Now with the benefit of science, we can bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.

I do believe your statement is logical. So I am really interested to listen more from you, which can change the thinking process and pathway of my life.
Rickey Kirby
I have considered myself a non conformer all my life, that I am a man given the highest level of consciousness of all species on earth. After returning from Vietnam I struggled with everyday life not knowing what had changed in me. I met Warner Erhart in the 70 ties and took his classes entitled “ Be here Now” then later met Tony Robins before he ever became famous which opened my level of understanding. Then came the movie the matrix which took me to another level of understanding of consciousness. Then looked up words used in this movie like the Merovingian’s, who the were. WOW, this man helps me understand to another level why I have struggled in my work environment and my personal life. Thank you…
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Rickey. You’ve obviously been searching for understanding and meaning all your life, especially after your heroic contribution of serving your country, so it’s absolutely wonderful you have come across Jeremy Griffith’s work! Explanation of the human condition does introduce a huge paradigm shift in understanding, as you say it takes us to “another level” and we can start to make sense of our lives and world as you are doing, so we encourage you to take your time to further explore Jeremy’s presentations. The World Transformation Movement homepage—HumanCondition.com—has it all there for you and it is 100% FREE (no registration required)! Near the top it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ and guides you through the steps to pursue your interest. This includes subscribing to our mailing list where you will receive one email per week and occasional News Flashes and joining our Facebook Group to learn more about this amazing, human-condition-resolved new world.
Given you mention Warner Erhart and Tony Robins, for everyone’s benefit it is important to mention our FAQ 6.5 which explains critical difference between Jeremy’s treatise and self-help and new age type movements. There has been thousands of years of different techniques for calming, restraining, repressing, and even transcending our psychologically upset human condition and deferring to the soundness of our soul in one form or another, which have been very valuable in managing our upset, but none of them have brought an end to the upset state of the human condition—it’s still rampant everywhere. The reason is because they don’t solve the human condition. They don’t deal with the source of our species’ corrupted condition and bring relieving understanding to it. This is what Jeremy’s explanation does and why it is heralded as the biological breakthrough that can save the world. To quote this FAQ: “There has been much talk of the need to love each other and the environment, but the real need on Earth has been to love the dark side of ourselves, to find reconciling and redeeming understanding of our species’ extraordinary capacity for brutality, selfish indifference to others, hate, anger, oppression, meanness, cruelty, devastation and destruction—to explain the psychological origins of our deeply distressed so-called human condition and by so doing heal our troubled souls and set ourselves free from our 2-million-years corrupted condition. And it is precisely that all-important explaining, redeeming, reconciling and liberating understanding of ourselves that is presented in biologist Jeremy Griffith’s work.”

Very informative, motivating and highly appreciated interview, looking forward to me getting the big book.
Nuhu Hamaadama Suleiman
I am amazed by this, it changes the way we see ourselves. Yes we must a loving and caring species, some part of us is all loving and peaceful, we invented music, and play for fun. How did we get them. We can’t be instinctively brutal while we claim to be conscious. Humanity now knows for sure that’s it’s simply not logical that the world leaders and factory owners keep polluting the planet for profits that serve no evolutionary purpose. I hope we will not be a failed experiment on earth.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Nuhu. Yes as biologist Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview, “Surely this idea that we have savage competitive and aggressive, must-reproduce-our-genes instincts cannot be the real reason for our species’ competitive and aggressive behaviour because, after all, words used to describe our human behaviour such as egocentric, arrogant, inspired, depressed, deluded, pessimistic, optimistic, artificial, hateful, cynical, mean, sadistic, immoral, brilliant, guilt-ridden, evil, psychotic, neurotic and alienated, all recognise the involvement of OUR species’ fully conscious thinking mind. They demonstrate that there is a psychological dimension to our behaviour; that we don’t suffer from a genetic-opportunism-driven ‘animal condition’, but a conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled HUMAN CONDITION.” He goes on to explain that “What’s more, we humans have cooperative, selfless and loving moral instincts, the voice or expression of which we call our conscience—which is the complete opposite of competitive, selfish and aggressive instincts. As Charles Darwin said, ‘The moral sense…affords the best and highest distinction between man and the lower animals’” And beyond, in Part 3 of THE Interview, Jeremy explains how our ancestors did acquire our instinctive cooperative and loving moral conscience which is summaries in our FAQ 5.2. Also Nuhu, take heart as you can see from the daily ecstatic responses on our homepage, the relief and excitement of finally be able to make sense of human life is turning into a tidal wave of world-saving support!! Also, as Part 4 of THE Interview and FAQ 1.40 explain, while the world is fast approaching a point of no return, this understanding will turn things around incredibly quickly, because it explains and solves the underlying cause of all our selfishness, anger and egocentricity.
Sydney Allen
I haven’t listened to it yet but I’m curious!
WTM Admin
We welcome your curiosity Sydney! The best place to start is to watch THE Interview (at HumanCondition.com), in which Jeremy Griffith presents his breakthrough ‘instinct v intellect’ explanation of the human condition. Part 1 of this interview presents the explanation as quickly and simply as possible and FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept. Essentially, when we humans developed a conscious mind some 2 million years ago, a battle unavoidably developed between it and our already established instincts. The result of this conflict between our instinct and intellect was that we became psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric — the upset state we refer to as the human condition. But now that we can explain and understand this conflict, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition. Happy exploring Sydney!
Mary Joice Antony
Insightful content. Congratulations! The human race needs to be redeemed from the chaos world over.
David Andersson
Very interesting. What do we do about the 99.9 percent who are not cooperative and would like to see aless cooperative world intent on ending its own existence. It takes great courage to tell people who are actively trying to kill you, lets be friends.
WTM Admin
Hi David, what makes Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct versus intellect’ explanation of the human condition so remarkable is its defence of our ‘dark side.’ By showing how the clash between our conscious intellect and our original cooperative instincts created deep psychological anger, alienation and egocentricity — the state we call the human condition — it allows us to finally understand ourselves. With this understanding, all those destructive and insecure behaviours that have resulted in competition and war, are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from that state and can legitimately return to a cooperative way of living. We suggest reading FAQ 1.38 ‘How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour?’; and FAQ 1.40, which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

Thanks Walter, but we would just point out that this isn’t a ‘transcendental’ movement. At last we can understand we have been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because at last we have the first principle-based science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or ‘transcending’ it.

Yes bullies seem to be instinctive (loose self control) behaving with inflated egos, while kinder and gentler men and females have pronounced conscious intellect.
WTM Admin
There is so much to take in here Beth - it actually turns all our preconceptions on their head – and so we hope you are patient. For example, what is being explained is that our “instinctive” behaviour is actually loving and cooperative, and it is the “conscious intellect” (because it is embattled by the instincts‘ ’criticism' of its experiments in self-managmebnt) that is responsible for our “inflated egos” and “bullying” behaviour. That being said, it is true that until the human condition was solved, we have had to exercise “self control” or ‘civilize’ our psychologically upset state, because it was often too destructive, and often it was those with a “pronounced conscious intellect” who exercised this control the most, mainly because they needed to the most! So there are subtleties to it all that take a bit of time to digest.

Irene
What exactly is the Human Condition? I hope this will solve the social-economic problems my country is suffering from.
WTM Admin
Hi Irene, we suggest you watch THE Interview where Jeremy Griffith explains what the human condition is and how we can now solve it (it is freely availiable at the top of the World Transformation Movement homepage). This extract from our FAQ 1.1 ‘What is the human condition’ serves as a summary: “we humans once lived in a nurtured-with-unconditional-love, cooperative, selfless and loving innocent state, which the bonobo species of ape is presently on the threshold of achieving. If we stand back and think about this original cooperative, selfless and loving state and then think about how competitive, selfish and aggressive we humans are now, the contrast between the two states couldn’t be greater. And if we think about that extreme contrast and then think about the situation we have been stuck in for some 2 million years where we haven’t been able to explain our so-called ‘fall from grace’, the corruption of our original all-sensitive and all-loving, innocent instinctive self or soul, then how deeply traumatised with guilt and shame must we humans have been all that time! Certainly, we learnt to block the horror of this situation out of our mind, but that has been the underlying psychological predicament we humans have been enduring. So having had to live with this insufferable, unbearably depressing guilt and shame for having destroyed the magic world of our soul is what the human condition really is!” What is so important about this ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is that it finally explains the real reason for why humans’ competitive and selfish behaviour became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life and therefore lifts the burden of guilt and shame from our lives.
So all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by our human condition stricken state. Solving this underlying issue of our destructive behaviour solves all the manifestations of the human condition including our social-economic problems. As THE Interview explains, instead of being selfishly preoccupied with power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world. To quote FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solve everything’: “So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race.”
Anthony Venkumini
Over two million years humans have been struggling with corruption and rejecting peace ✌️ ❤️ love ❤️, unity & honesty as well as oneness!!!!
WTM Admin
Yes, that is the tragic truth. But not only can we now understand that our original instinctive orientation is loving and cooperative, we can also understand that our competitive, aggressive, destructive, even seemingly ‘evil’ behaviour was an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. This understanding defends our so-called ‘dark side’ and explains that despite all appearances to the contrary, all humans are ‘good’. And by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to return to that loving “oneness” you crave!
Sue Riendeau
Extremely interesting to me. I am a believer in science and have always been curious about many of the ridiculous beliefs I have been taught. Thank you!
WTM Admin
Thanks Sue. We hope you keep investigating. One of the things you will learn is that while the corrupting search for liberating knowledge was underway religion played a significant role as both the custodian of the ideal state and as a means of solace for those exhausted by the corrupting journey. However, it follows that with the redeeming biological understanding of why we had to depart from our original innocence now found, those metaphysical, faith-based accounts that looked after us are now redundant. You might be interested in our FAQs on religion.

What an inspiring and deep seated message, I am utterly uplifted leaving a lot of questions: I keep asking myself, what better world could be if only we had such thought?
WTM Admin
It is difficult for us to imagine what our world will be like without the human condition. It helps to read chapter 9 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, titled ‘The transformation of the human race’, where he explains that once people start having the legitimate ‘change of heart’ that this information allows, the selflessness that it liberates will not only quickly solve all the problems on the planet, but the excitement and joy it brings means everyone will want to get on board as quickly as they can!

Very interesting!
He never explained why it isn’t taught in school
Amazing
I would like to know how it help us to know, what you are saying.Tell me how we should do? How can en grid be change to sharing or hatred to lowe. How we should do it. It should be as we chaneed to driving from left to right. One week, and all people start be good. So tell us how you think we should do? I always thought that it must be evil so wi will appreciated the good. Maybe i don’t understand it at all.
Love this ☀️

What a great interview.it answered some questions i had lingering and you’ve made me want not only to speak the word but maybe someday meet a bonobo! Very enlightening . Thank you Sheila
super good
Robert
Thank you for your thoughts Robert. It’s the understanding of ourselves that we needed to heal the pain in our brains and become sound and sane again.”Yes there are two parts of ourselves our loving instinctive self and our conscious mind and as we can now see our conscious mind is the redeemer but not because it could try and “override the impulsive behaviour” but because its heroic search for knowledge found the scientific explanation that obseletes the need to be selfish and aggressive. As is explained in Part 2 it is science that is the liberator or saviour of mankind. The host Craig Conway summarises that, “science’s discovery of the way genes and nerves work has finally made it possible for the liberation of humanity from the horror of the human condition”, to which Jeremy replies, “Yes, that is the essential truth: science is the liberator, the so-called ‘messiah’ or ‘redeemer’ of humankind, as we always hoped it would be!”This critical new science introduces a paradigm shift in understanding so re-watching THE Interview is recommended and how humans acquired our cooperative and loving instincts is explained in Part 3 which solves one of the greatest mysteries in biology. And Darwin himself described it as the ‘one special difficulty’ with his concept of natural selection (On The Origin of Species, 1859, p.209 of 440).” Also our FAQ 5.2 ‘How did we humans acquire our all-loving, unconditionally selfless moral conscience?/ What do the nurtured and cooperative bonobos tell us about our own evolutionary heritage?’ is most helpful.Love this

This places a new spin on generational trauma. Wow! On the surface (as I’ve not yet read the book) this theory would certainly go a long way in explaining the evil that is committed by many humans.
You will see an image of FREEDOM with the text ‘Free Copy’ so click on that to access a free electronic copy to read, listen to or download. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you are particularly after a hardcopy of Jeremy’s books they are available to purchase from Amazon and other good bookstores.A paramount lesson!
Jeremy is a great communicator of complex quotes and literacy by chronically breaking down the bullshñt and making it almost sound like poetry. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview, and shall be starting to get the 2nd generation ie my kids to cut the shackles of negative civilization and keep this incredible movement forging forward.
Great work!
It is the revolution of our minds.”Because all our institutions, including our governments and media, have been a manifestation of our insecure, psychologically upset condition, addressing the source of our selfish psychological upset actually brings about lasting change and stops the destruction of our world that is happening everywhere we look. We recommend FAQ 1.40 ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power?’Interesting and Educational. Not only needs to be shared but listened and thought about deeply, God Bless
Be waiting a long time to hear some logical sense. Thank you so much👣❣️🍄🦬🪶🦅👍
I am very curious and am interested to learn and know more. Thanks. Henry Kulame
Hi Henry, we very much appreciate your interest, which we encourage you to pursue by visiting our homepage at HumanCondition.com. Near the top it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ and guides you through the steps. This includes subscribing to our free mailing list where you will receive one email per week and occasional News Flashes and joining our Facebook Group to learn more about this amazing, human-condition-resolved new world.
I am fascinated and grateful for this understanding. I have been instinctively aware of this since I was a very young child in a very chaotic life.
Full understanding of this science could lead to a time of peace that we have yet to experience. Not only as individuals but as a human race.
Thank you
Great to have your interest, KC.
Mind blowing and explanations make sense.
I agree with this work 100%! I have had a deep emotional and psychological understanding of this since childhood and would very much like to get involved with your work. Beautiful !
Watching it in PNG 🇵🇬 True 🙏
Is there an indepth interview I can buy? I only seem to have the trailer version.
Hi Janine. You can freely watch THE Interview in full on our homepage (or on Youtube); where you can also immediately access free electronic copies of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM (along with his other key books, including THE Interview) to read, listen to or download. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. (Otherwise you can purchase hard copies from Amazon or other good bookstores.)
Learned so much listening to this.
Poverty and greed are two of the worlds worst things that cause these conditions.
So should we say this really makes the beginning of the Golden age course that I can say about this interview is that it’s mind blowing
We most definitely need this understanding
It’s great
It’s really gd I’m sure but it’s hard to understand ill have to listen again
Would love to experience humanity shift towards a positive outcome. Have some respect and understanding for one another.
True
True true !
Freedom Essay/Video 14 makes this discreditation very clear.Thankfully mechanistic science can now be replaced by human-condition-confronting-and-solving, truthful, holistic, inductive science—but of course the established, entrenched, traditional mechanistic scientific paradigm resists this massive paradigm shift. As he says in THE Interview, “I mean, our conversations are saturated with this belief, with comments like: ‘We are programmed by our genes to try to dominate others and be a winner in the battle of life’; and ‘Our preoccupation with sexual conquest is due to our primal instinct to sow our seeds’; and ‘Men behave abominably because their bodies are flooded with must-reproduce-their-genes-promoting testosterone’; and ‘We want a big house because we are innately territorial’; and ‘Fighting and war is just our deeply-rooted combative animal nature expressing itself’.”It really is at the 11th hour that the often highly intellectualised, sophisticated-in-the-art-of-denial, pretentious, makes-it-seem-like-unreachable-knowledge-for-the-average-person, scientific presentations from the ivory towers of human-condition-avoiding academia are at last replaced by truthful, sensible, fully accountable, relatively simple and straightforward, soul-ualised not intellect-ualised scientific presentations, which is what FREEDOM provides for the human race.Honest truth
This explanation of human condition will even make the explanation of human condition in the Bible clearer.
Interesting and fascinating analysis of the human condition...WORDS TO LIVE BY!
I suddenly feel sane , after hearing the informative explanation of the Human Condition. I can intellectually understand, and at the same time emotionally grasp the internal vs external struggle of achieving Freedom. Eager to dig deeper into the dialogue available to both educate and motivate living life freely. By the Grace of God 🕊🙌🫶
It’s wonderful how he explain the how to save the world if everyone around the world will apply what he explained about the human condition not only we can change ourselves then we will be able to save the world.
Amazing, he explains so much truth 🙌.
Ok yeah, i like it.
Kudos!!
Is there a remote chance that humans can reverse this thinking process?
It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”So, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM, while “this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point we are well on our way as you can see from the excitement and relief in our daily ecstatic responses to THE Interview, and in the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work from thought leaders and WTM Centre founders all over the world, all of which you can read on our World Transformation Movement homepage. The information in the interview is mind-blowing, I am thrilled by the eye-opening insight, it’s a beginning of new world in solving the human condition
If Knowledge is power than this information is a superpower of life itself. The answer to the question what is the meaning of life, of us, of humanity.
I’m really interesting to learn more about this information.
This is deep truth and reality availing.
Please tell me how this breakthrough can help us on a daily basis. I understand the principle .so how do we fix us ?
This explanation of the human condition actually lifts the burden of guilt from the shoulders of the human race, it ends the condemnation that we humans have had to endure for so long.I stand in awe.... beautiful
Stunning. Information that can literally save my life.
Hi Andrew, what biologist Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview is not humanism or a religion or new age. It is first principle scientific explanation of our human condition. Also THE Interview is a 4-part summary presentation but Jeremy does refer the audience to references where aspects of the explanation are more comprehensively explained and evidenced, especially in his definitive book FREEDOM.Humanism does focus on the belief that all people are inherently good but the great breakthrough Jeremy’s treatise represents is he explains how we biologically acquired our all-loving cooperative instincts (presented in Part 3) and solves the core question of the human condition, of ‘why, when the ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish?’ by clarifying the difference between the way the intellect and instincts work. The critical distinction being that the gene-based refinement system is only capable of orientating a species, whereas the nerve-based refinement system has the potential to understand the nature of change (presented in Part 1).So, unlike humanisim, we now have the rational, accountable explanation that defends humans at the most fundamental level, and it follows that this has logical consequences in terms of our behaviour. Also FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 explain the far-reaching application of this explanation and Freedom Essay 15 is all about ‘How understanding the human condition can immediately transform your and every other human’s life and save the world’.With regard to your concern that the ‘Pandora’s box’ is now open i.e. that the world is now too ‘upset’ to save, we would suggest reading our FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions ‘isn’t it too late to save the world? This is why people such as Professor Harry Prosen, former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, have described Jeremy’s book FREEDOM as “the book that saves the world.”Please read Genesis 1.1 10 words that explain life in 10 words. Man, as always, just complicates simplicity.
Thank you…
Thank you for your comment Rickey. This includes subscribing to our mailing list where you will receive one email per week and occasional News Flashes and joining our Facebook Group to learn more about this amazing, human-condition-resolved new world.Given you mention Warner Erhart and Tony Robins, for everyone’s benefit it is important to mention our FAQ 6.5 which explains critical difference between Jeremy’s treatise and self-help and new age type movements. And it is precisely that all-important explaining, redeeming, reconciling and liberating understanding of ourselves that is presented in biologist Jeremy Griffith’s work.”Critical information that just opened my understanding in this new stage in life that am entering. very eye opening
I’m impressed, Inspired and motivated by your lecture. I’m interested.
Very informative, motivating and highly appreciated interview, looking forward to me getting the big book.
I haven’t listened to it yet but I’m curious!
Insightful content. Congratulations! The human race needs to be redeemed from the chaos world over.
Very interesting. What do we do about the 99.9 percent who are not cooperative and would like to see aless cooperative world intent on ending its own existence. It takes great courage to tell people who are actively trying to kill you, lets be friends.
Every human living on this planet now, should listen to this.
Great insights!
Very interested in more information please

Thank you for such a clear and scientific understanding of the human experience. Knowing this can now allow us to re-learn our genuine reason for existence and how to be as we truly are.
Absolutely very valuable information. More people must listen to this interview.
Much welcomed transcendental global awareness. I am grateful and hopeful.
Absolutely insightful views, explained in lay-men’s terms. A must read/listen: thank you 🙏
Thank you. After watching this, I’m feeling a whole lot better knowing that “I am Good” Looking forward to more healing and to help others
Amazing
I would want to watch this again.
I’m into this I really like the video and I will always watch it faithfully and thank you very much for this amazing information have a good day bye
Yes bullies seem to be instinctive (loose self control) behaving with inflated egos, while kinder and gentler men and females have pronounced conscious intellect.
It’s incredibly a milestone to save the world and human civilization! Salute once again!
Absolutely makes total sense! A definite must to listen to.
Very interesting to better understanding. I would like to listen or read again.
Fantastic
What exactly is the Human Condition? I hope this will solve the social-economic problems my country is suffering from.
This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race.”Over two million years humans have been struggling with corruption and rejecting peace ✌️ ❤️ love ❤️, unity & honesty as well as oneness!!!!
Extremely interesting to me. I am a believer in science and have always been curious about many of the ridiculous beliefs I have been taught. Thank you!
It is difficult for us to imagine what our world will be like without the human condition. It helps to read chapter 9 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, titled ‘The transformation of the human race’, where he explains that once people start having the legitimate ‘change of heart’ that this information allows, the selflessness that it liberates will not only quickly solve all the problems on the planet, but the excitement and joy it brings means everyone will want to get on board as quickly as they can!
TY! Great learning and world insight. To open our eyes, hearts and minds awesome
What such a powerful explanation, it makes start thinking the other way so deep about our behaviors as human.
Wonderful , thank you so much Jeremy Griffith,
Very much interested to learn more!
