Just hoping to learn more that makes sense for our human ways...
WTM Admin
You have come to the right place Carol. We can now see that all our anger and frustration is, at base, a result of a conflict between our intellect and our cooperative instincts. This conflict led to an undeserved sense of guilt and insecurity that caused us to become psychologically angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. Now that we can explain and understand this conflict and the guilt it produced, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition.
As to the veractiy of this explanation, Albert Einstein once said that ‘truth is what stands the test of experience’. In this particular scientific study—the biological analysis of the human condition—we humans are the subjects, which means we can experience, feel and know the truthfulness or otherwise of the explanations being put forward. And so you can know that this is the breakthrough explanation of the human condition because once you understand the explanation and begin to apply it, you will discover it is so able to make sense of human behaviour it makes it transparent.

Oh goodness - quite interesting until it became a rant against “the left” - what a joke!! I dare you to publish this in your comment section! Disgraceful

Jeremy Griffith’s work opens up a new way of thinking so it takes a little time to fully absorb this new paradigm – and the human condition does present the ultimate paradox! The biological ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wing. His work identifies that the problem of the right-wing is its destructiveness, however, through its support of egocentricity and selfishness, it does encourage the search for knowledge to continue. However the left wing’s insistence on ideal behaviour had the effect of oppressing and thus regressing, not ‘progressing’, the all-important search for knowledge. Most importantly, this understanding brings a profound understanding to both sides which ultimately will bring an end to the whole ugly business of politics. This is fully explained in our FAQs about politics.

Jeremy,
Your interview moved me deeply. In a world that often rewards hardness and haste, your research dares to be tender, truthful, and transformative. Thank you for illuminating the human condition with such clarity and compassion. Your work reminds me of my childhood hero, Jane Goodall—another soul who saw the beauty in our shared humanity and the wisdom in our origins. Her passing has left a quiet ache, but your voice carries forward that same spirit of reverence and hope. The world may be harsh, but your insights are a balm and a blueprint for something better. Please keep going. We need you.
WTM Admin
On behalf of Jeremy, thank you very much Amanda. You may be interested to know that Jeremy spent time at Jane Goodall’s Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Centre in Burundi - you can see an image on Jeremy’s biography page. In Part 8:4G of Freedom Expanded, in explaining the fragility of the ‘love-indoctrination’ process through which humans gained their all-loving moral instinctive self or soul, Jeremy describes the inspired decision by Louis Leakey, whereby he “handpicked three women to study the great apes in their natural habitat — Jane Goodall, who began her field study of chimpanzees in Tanzania in 1960; Dian Fossey, who began her field study of gorillas in Rwanda in 1967; and Birute Galdikas.” This decision was inspired because woman, being less embattled by the human condition than men, don’t find indications of cooperation in our primate relatives as confronting as men, and were therefore able to acknowledge it.

Interesting point of view. However, knowing mankind is good in essence can never save the world. Preaching the word of unconditional love is undaubtedly the best thing humans can do. The effect of doing so is psychologicly calming and will indeed spread more love and understanding. There have always been people who knew this. Jezus also said love another just like yourself. The point is: Love is no match for Capitalism. And capitalism is the force which rules the world, it will destroy human kind if we don’t find a better way of living together. Love is the most beautiful thing on earth, but is not enough to solve our problems. But your message is indeed very nice to hear. Keep going.
WTM Admin
While it takes some time to digest, we suggest that what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work is that he has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? Our endeavours in philosophy, psychology and biology have failed, until now, to provide a truthful, real, fully accountable, genuinely clarifying explanation. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here.
What is significant about the explanation is that it defends our so-called ‘dark side’ and explains that despite all appearances to the contrary, all humans are ‘good’. And paradoxically, by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to end the perpetuation of our destructive behaviour!
Capitalism has been a symptom of our condition, not its cause. Proving we were better than someone else gave us validation and reinforcement to counter the deep insecurity we felt about having to become self-corrupted. And so competition, sustained by the incentives of materialism and capitalism, are what maintained humanity’s heroic search for knowledge, ultimately for self-knowledge. With our goodness and worth now biologically established, we no longer need to be preoccupied with proving our goodness and worth. Simply ‘preaching love’ could never do that - we had to address the source of the problem.

It is a big challenge to solve the human condition. For me, the true nature of a person is to be kind, loving, understanding, respectful, honest, and loving. nature, and above all, fear God, recognize the creation of our world that we live in here on earth, that is the true creation of God,
But in our human nature, we are far from the truth, from the true creation of our gods.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment Norman. We are respectful of everyone’s beliefs, but do suggest that while religions contained extraordinary truth about human life, it was all from a pre-scientific view, and that ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that clarifying difference means we can now understand that we had to defy our instincts, which is why this great breakthrough is described as ‘redeeming’. It follows that by finding the good reason we had to defy our instincts, we can reconcile ourselves with them, because all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant. We no longer need them because we have the real defense for why we had to defy our instincts. We recommend reading FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion?’ where it is explained that, “The great founding prophets of religion actually looked forward to the arrival of the reconciling understanding of the human condition—which means supporters of religion shouldn’t see Jeremy’s scientific demystification of religious teachings as blasphemy, but as religious fulfillment!”

With Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition we can at last understand and reconcile the huge gulf that has existed between men and women. We can also understand why men especially, but also women, suffer from the human condition and all its related behaviours including selfishness and egocentricity, but that all humans are equally good, worthwhile, meaningful and wonderful regardless of gender, age, religion, etc. See biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s video in Video/Freedom Essay 9 how this explanation is the real liberation of women and also FAQ 8.1 ‘How does this reconcile the sexes’.
With regard to religious accounts of the human condition, we can now understand that while the corrupting search for liberating knowledge was underway religion played a significant role as both the custodian of the ideal state and as a means of solace for those exhausted by the corrupting journey. However, it follows that with the redeeming biological understanding of why we had to depart from our original innocence now found, those metaphysical, faith-based accounts that looked after us are now redundant. In fact, what people discover is Jeremy Griffith’s work actually reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. In fact, it presents the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves, see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.

The human condition manifests in different ways in all of us as a result of our own experiences and exposure to the world, but the clash between instinct and intellect is the source of the overall insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation that underlies all human affairs, and so explaining it makes all those behaviours redundant.
For example, we can at last understand and reconcile the huge gulf that has existed between men and women. We can also understand why men especially, but also women, suffer from the human condition and all its related behaviours including selfishness and egocentricity, but that all humans are equally good, worthwhile, meaningful and wonderful regardless of gender, age, religion, etc. See biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s Video/Freedom Essay 9 about how this explanation is the real liberation of women and also FAQ 8.1 ‘How does this reconcile the sexes’.
In establishing the equality of all humans and brings compassionate and thus safe understanding to ALL of human behaviour — Jeremy Griffith’s breakthrough instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition also explains the horror of racism that has existed under the duress of the human condition and, most importantly, finally brings it to an end, see FAQ 9.1 ‘How do you explain racism?’. Also, for a testimonial on the power of this knowledge to end racism, we recommend the presentations from Franklin Mukakanga and Refentse Molosiwa in Video/Freedom Essay 8.

This address nearly corresponds somewhat with the beliefs in Christian Science , mainly that of the spiritual and scientific interpretation of the Bible rather than the literal. After reading this address, I have a wonderful feeling that annoyance and anger with what’s going on in the world today can be met by individuals who understand how to demonstrate this grand family of which we were originally. Eventually, powerful mass consciousness will be taken in as well. At this point, we deal with “the little foxes that spoil the vines” , step by step we become steady. Thank you for this grand idea you present. It has already set me in a new direction. All is well.
WTM Admin
Thanks very much Judy. Yes, what is presented allows for a non-literal interpretation of the bible. While Christianity and other religions (including Christian Science) contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. This is what allows genuine reconciliation between the our moral, altruistic instincts, and our psychologically upset intellect. Through explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, bringing true peace to our condition. We thought you might find our FAQs about religion of interest.

Jeremy has a deep respect for religious scripture which he often considers to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view, which his work simply brings biological understanding to. For instance, as THE Interview explains, the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were actually ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! It establishes that we are good and not bad after all. What THE Interview presents fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough. You might be interested in our FAQs about religion.

Thank you Dr Griffith!Yes we need a renewal of our mindsets. Doesn’t Romans 12:1-2 tells us not to conform to the standards of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. When man sinned by desiring to be as wise as God, then disobeyed God and did what God commanded him not to do. God enforced the consequences of disobedience. God’s peace for mankind was interrupted.God has set standards of love, joy, peace, brotherly kindness , etc.
It’s really truly man that is defying God’s standards for peace among humans to elevate oneself above others. God’s intent and purpose for mankind has always been peace. When we return to God’s standards we can and will live in peace.
God’s plans nor statutes will ever never change. It’s man’s desire for ultimate power, which he will never have that corrupts what is made perfect by God’s nature.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Betsy. We certainly respect people’s religious views and feel it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. He also considers Christ to be one of the greatest, most sound (still able to access the truthful world of his soul), denial-free thinking prophets in history and has written about Christ’s life and its phenomenal importance in humanity’s journey in Freedom Essay 39.
Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in chapter 4 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM as being the integrative meaning of life. This is also explained in our FAQs about religion, especially FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ and FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.
The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.

I am open to new thoughts about the world we live in.

I gave up after 10 minutes because the wrong tree was being barked up. There is no mystery here. Humans are stressed because of limited supply and increasing demand. Resources have remained limited while demands on them increased as the world became overpopulated. It brings out the worst in people.
WTM Admin
We suggest you need to look deeper Mark because, as THE Interview explains, overpopulation, limited resources, greed, starvation and gross inequality, are symptoms of our insecure human condition, so ultimately, to reform those behaviours we have to end that underlying insecurity, get to the core of the problem and fix that which is what biologist Jeremy Griffith has done and presents here in THE Interview. Great care has been taken to present the explanation as quickly and simply as possible in Part 1. What is explained is that our emerging conscious mind came into conflict with our pre-established instincts, causing us to become insecure and psychologically upset, which we then compensate for through selfishly pursuing power, fame, fortune and glory – see FAQ 1.3 for a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept and FAQ 1.6 which explains why understanding the human condition solves everything.
Andrew Percy Pearson
This incredible thinker has given me hope about us Humans, whereas before i had completely despaired about the Human Condition. The acceptance of a Mediocrity in Human behaviour has always greatly troubled me. I believe this explanation of the Human Condition is a great way of helping to heal our troubled souls. Christian Religion has perpetrated the myth that we were once of sin and also once we began to have conscious thinking we were imperfect and had imperfect lives. I I have always believed this to be Bullshit and now Jeremy Griffith has given me the proof.

It’s wonderful Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is bringing you such relief Andrew!! In terms of religion Jeremy stresses in his work religion has contained all manner of truth about the human condition, albeit without the benefit of science. Now, as you are seeing, with this critical new science we can understand we were not ‘sinful’ or ‘bad’ for trying to fulfil the great and important purpose of searching for knowledge. As Jeremy says in Part 2 of THE Interview, “‘No, no, that story got it wrong’. Adam and Eve are actually not just good but the heroes of the whole story of life on Earth.” What science can now add to this pre-scientific description of the human condition is that our instincts in effect criticised the emerging conscious mind’s search for knowledge, but importantly, we can now understand that the conscious mind was right, or ‘good’ to defy our instinctive self in order to fulfil its great potential to manage life. While religious assurances, such as ‘God loves you’ in Christianity, provided comfort, they failed to explain WHY we are lovable, and it is that missing explanation that this breakthrough provides.
Scott Reedy
I don’t know what this video is about but I am curious.
WTM Admin
We welcome your curiosity Scott! The best place to start is to watch THE Interview (at the top of the World Transformation Movement homepage HumanCondition.com), in which biologist Jeremy Griffith presents his breakthrough ‘instinct v intellect’ explanation of the human condition. Part 1 of this interview presents the explanation as quickly and simply as possible and FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept. Essentially, when we humans developed a conscious mind some 2 million years ago, a battle unavoidably developed between it and our already established instincts. The result of this conflict between our instinct and intellect was that we became psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric — the upset state we refer to as the human condition. But now that we can explain and understand this conflict, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition. Hope you enjoy it Scott!

Astounding and Enlightening
Fumiya Sakow
We must harmonize religions, ideologies and other human spiritual cultures being based on scientific human conditions which state no races or biological differences exist among us.
WTM Admin
Hi Fumiya, Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition biologically establishes the equal goodness of all humans which brings about a profound reconciliation to all aspects of human life. This transforming power lies in the fact that we can now understand that having to become psychologically upset and carry the burden of guilt we felt for having to leave and corrupt our original harmonious state was the responsible thing to do while we continued the search for knowledge. What is so extraordinary about this is it actually defends the conscious mind for becoming so divisive. That is the great paradox of the human condition – we humans had to defy our all-loving instincts and become corrupted in self in order to find understanding of the human condition. Now with that found we can at last reconcile our divides selves and our divided world. To quote FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solve everything’: “So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race.” We also suggest FAQ 1.15 about how this reconciles science and religion, FAQ 7.1 about how this ends the polarised world of politics, FAQ 8.1 about how this reconciles men and women and FAQ 9.1 about how this insight explains and ends racism.

John Halderman
While I agree with your basic ideas about the human condition related to instinct and intellect, what baffles me is your saying that the “left” are who have pushed “dogma.” Yet from my perspective, it is the far-right that is pushing “dogma”. Trying to get everyone to comply with their specific beleif system and social behaviors. While the “left” has been more about being open-minded about beleifs and systems. The “left” has been saying, be more open to accept differnet people and ideas... yet, many on the Right don’t like being ‘told’ to accept people thay don’t like, then claiming they are being forced to accept people they don’t like, even hate. I ask, how is this “right” perspective helpful, cooperative, and loving?
WTM Admin
It does take some time to get your head around the paradox of the human condition, John, and in particular, how it applies to politics. We recommend Jeremy Griffith’s book, Death by Dogma, which is freely available here on our homepage. In it Jeremy emphasises that its always been easy to side with idealism and denigrate realism, but now at last we can understand the real world humans have been living in where we have had to be competitive, aggressive and selfish, and, most wonderfully of all, by revealing that reason, ending the need for that divisive behaviour. That is the final paradox of the human condition: through the right wing upholding the selfishness needed to persevere with the search for knowledge, we all now become left-wing (as it were, although the truth is that the whole ugly business of politics is now brought to a close).
Karega Kofi Moyo
Truly enlightening, full of hope for resolution of human conflict and discontent. “Free will” occurs within expressions of love universally.
WTM Admin
Thanks Karega. Certainly humans have felt great peace and freedom when on those rare occassions we have managed to transcend our psychologically upset state and perform pure acts of love or selflessness, but such moments were extraodinarily rare. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview.

Hi Melaney. As Part 4 of THE Interview explains, this understanding of the human condition liberates us from an underlying insecurity and resulting psychosis that all humans have suffered from since we became a fully conscious species some 2 million years ago, which allows the immediate transformation of everyone’s life because, as Jeremy Griffith explains, “while it will take a number of generations to heal all the upset in us humans, everyone can immediately live free of their upset. The reason we can live free of it is that while we lacked the real defence and reinforcement of understanding of our corrupted condition, we absolutely needed the artificial defences and reinforcements of attacking any criticism of our corrupted condition, of denying and blocking it out, and of finding any positive reinforcement we could—anger, alienation and egocentricity are what sustained us—but now that we have the real defence and reinforcement of our fundamental goodness, all these artificial defences and reinforcements are obsoleted, they are no longer needed.” You can read more about the immediate transformation this understanding makes possible in FAQ 4.1.

And what will change? Absolutely nothing! Greed is the driving force behind 99% of atrocities with 1% who do it for the simple pleasure of enjoying others suffering! Over-population will cause the extinction of our species , driven by greed, social inequality, loss of natural resources, famine, disease, civil war. People want more..there are a number of ways to get MORE but taking it by whatever means is the quickest and easiest method.. This Man has a good mind and his mindset supports his conclusions , but don’t think for a moment it will make one iota of difference long term. We are doomed ( maybe not us, not yet, but Humanity, and way before the population doubles again), so live, love & try to be respectful , whilst those values are respected ( by the few) as that will ultimately give your existence meaning ( to give rather than take) and wait for the beginning of the end. What we know is irrelevant! End greed if Humanity is to survive!

What is so extraordinary about Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition is that it removes the insecurity that has been driving behaviours such as “greed”. We can now understand the battle between our intellect and our cooperative instincts caused us to become psychologically defensive – angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. Now that we can understand this conflict all those insecure behaviours, such as greed, are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from that state and can legitimately return to a cooperative way of living. We suggest FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

You nailed it Doctor! I found true meaning to life after listening to this interview a few months ago. It is no doubt a must see for everyone. Thanks Doc.

I’ve never agreed with survival of the fittest concept. It has always sounded like an excuse for bad behavior. It’s not biological it’s psychological. Carl Jung understood this.
WTM Admin
Yes! Jeremy explains that while we couldn’t admit that our selfish, aggressive behaviour was psychological in origin we have had to come up with all sorts of theories to account for our good and evil stricken condition, and the idea that we are selfish because we have savage animals instincts is the main an excuse we have had to use until we had the real defence for our condition – which is what is presented here in THE Interview.

Interesting. But will this ever evolve?
WTM Admin
Thank you, Sandra, for your question. Part 4 of THE Interview, titled ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’, presents the answer to how this understanding allows us to bring this understanding into our lives and transform both our lives and our world. It explains that it will take a number of generations for the upset within us to be completely healed but it also stresses importantly we can be immediately free of its effects. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is summarised in FAQ 1.5.

I’m exploring different perspectives on human psychology. Can you summarize the core evidence behind this theory?”
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is supported by several converging lines of evidence. First, it passes what Einstein called the ultimate scientific test: experience. Once understood, it makes human behavior transparent — explaining why we feel and act as we do. Second, its explanatory power is vast: like Darwin’s theory of natural selection, it accounts for an extraordinary range of phenomena, from our altruism and aggression to teenage angst, mental illness, religion, art, politics, and even myths. Third, it aligns with both history and modern science. Thinkers from Plato to Richard Heinberg recognized that the emergence of consciousness conflicted with instinct, while neuroscience and evolutionary biology now confirm the difference between genetic instinct and conscious reasoning systems. Importantly, evidence from primatology — especially the cooperative, gentle bonobo, whose physiology, environment, intelligence, and reduced canine size make it a better model for our ancestors than the aggressive common chimpanzee — shows that humanity’s evolutionary heritage was rooted in cooperation, meaning our current aggressive behaviour can’t be instinctive. Finally, Griffith’s explanation reconciles science and religion by showing that both were grappling with the same underlying conflict. The breadth, coherence, lived confirmation, and cross-disciplinary support are what many scientists and commentators regard as compelling evidence for its truth. You might be interested in FAQ 1.10.

A very simple explanation in plain terms without all the technical/scientific garble! I will probably watch this again just to make some deeper observations and to glean some insight to share with others! There’s a lot to unpack here but all worthy of the effort!

Capitalism undermines any psychological approach to an enlightened society. We are a living unit affected by dialectical processes of environmental requirements and personal drives.
WTM Admin
What is so important about Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is that it finally explains the real reason for why humans’ competitive and power-hungry behaviour became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. Solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source so we can actually stop the destruction of ourselves and save the world.

Wow. Well I am inclined to believe that if a person wants to change his behavior from bad to good he/she will. If not free will wise he/she won’t. I am hopefully for peace worldwide. I use to think it was only at Christmas time. But that was some time time ago I don’t believe that anymore. Thank you. Beautyfull and insightfuIl! bow to you. AMAZING! I LUV IT!
WTM Admin
Thanks Melinda. Yes, what is so extraordinary about Jeremy Griffith’s treatise is that it logically and accountably defends human selfishness and egocentricity. What this defence of our ‘dark side’ means is that all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant; we no longer need them because we have the real defence for why we had to defy our instincts. Which means that for the first time ever, humanity is in a position to freely choose to have the change of heart from “bad to good” to which you refer. Certainly it will take some generations for all our hurt and trauma to subside, but people can immediately choose to behave in line with a set of principles any time they want – they do it all the time in religions (although the ‘change of heart’ this information allows is based rational scientific knowledge, not faith). This is the essence of the transformation that is now available. To fully heal the human race will take generations, but everyone can immediately choose to live in accord with that understanding, which is what is so immensely exciting – see FAQ 4.1 to read all about the Transformed State.

Yes it is more in tune the study...with the scriptures
WTM Admin
Yes, Jeremy’s work brings biological understanding to religion’s pre-scientific descriptions of our condition (see our FAQs about religion). For example, as explained in Part 2 of THE Interview, the book of Genesis story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden describes the primary situation involved in our human condition of the psychologically upsetting battle that emerged between our instincts and our conscious intellect’s search for knowledge. So ‘the fall’, if you want to use religious terminology, was caused by the emerging conscious mind’s search for knowledge, which was in effect criticised by our pre-established instincts which were ‘intolerant’ of those experiments in self-management. Understanding that the conscious mind is an insightful learning tool, and therefore needs to find understanding to operate, removes the burden of guilt from humanity. Rather than being ‘sinful’ for taking the fruit from the tree of knowledge, we can now understand that we conscious humans are heroes, not villains. Having found the good reason that we had to defy our instincts means all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant. This is the essence of the transformation that is now available.

Are they all our instincts or are they behaviors we were taught. Do we really have that many true instincts.
WTM Admin
What is so significant about Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition is it reveals our selfish and competitive behaviour is not a product of our instincts, but the result of a psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. What is more, our instincts are loving and cooperative, not aggressive and selfish, as mechanistic science has dishonestly claimed. However, as a result of the psychosis caused by this instinct vs intellect clash, our ‘all-loving instinctive self’ is now buried deep within us. As Jeremy writes in FAQ 1.26, “because our original cooperative, selfless and loving instinctive self or soul has been so condemning of our conscious mind’s angry, egocentric and upset state, our conscious mind has had no choice but to block out that condemning and confronting soul, which is our alienation from it…So the original innocent child within us, if we like to think of it like that, is now deeply denied and repressed inside of us. We are split from our soul because we couldn’t bear its confronting and condemning expectation that we should behave cooperatively and lovingly.”
So, our behaviours are not instinctive, they are a result of a psychosis caused by the instinct vs intellect clash. Obviously the way this psychosis expresses itself is moderated by the particular cultural mores of the society we live in, and the parental values we are taught as we grow up.

Just hoping to learn more that makes sense for our human ways...
And so you can know that this is the breakthrough explanation of the human condition because once you understand the explanation and begin to apply it, you will discover it is so able to make sense of human behaviour it makes it transparent.Absolutely amazing
It is very interesting subject, it will be good matter to discuss with my friends and myself.
Jeremy, Your interview moved me deeply.
Interesting, impressive and knowledgeable.
This movement is urgently needed now, more than ever, for the positive changes in human behavior globally. If need be, I can volunteer to assist, to the best of my ability right away! May God bless us in this noble endeavour!

Absolutely brilliant explanation
The truth finally.
Very interesting. Will definitely be reading more on this subject. Will also sharing this interview with close friends. It will be a great subject to discuss between us. Thanks.
Keep going.
And paradoxically, by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to end the perpetuation of our destructive behaviour!Capitalism has been a symptom of our condition, not its cause. Simply ‘preaching love’ could never do that - we had to address the source of the problem.Thank you for this I needed this much love
Thank you for your very interesting wisdom!
It’s truth in its purest form including the quotes Plato and Darwin.. from now henceforth I’m your student.
Detailed information for all in moving forward in a positive direction.
Great video, thanks for all the information.
What I have always intuitively known to be true but was denied and rejected from the world around me. Of course. Thank you. Thank you.
It is a big challenge to solve the human condition. For me, the true nature of a person is to be kind, loving, understanding, respectful, honest, and loving. nature, and above all, fear God, recognize the creation of our world that we live in here on earth, that is the true creation of God, But in our human nature, we are far from the truth, from the true creation of our gods.
Thank you so much thank you so much for your wisdom 🙏❤️
Thank you so much

Women are not like this.we are different..God made us different to men.we are not Animals..where does God and creation fit into this theory?
With Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition we can at last understand and reconcile the huge gulf that has existed between men and women. We can also understand why men especially, but also women, suffer from the human condition and all its related behaviours including selfishness and egocentricity, but that all humans are equally good, worthwhile, meaningful and wonderful regardless of gender, age, religion, etc. See biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s video in Video/Freedom Essay 9 how this explanation is the real liberation of women and also FAQ 8.1 ‘How does this reconcile the sexes’.With regard to religious accounts of the human condition, we can now understand that while the corrupting search for liberating knowledge was underway religion played a significant role as both the custodian of the ideal state and as a means of solace for those exhausted by the corrupting journey. In fact, it presents the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves, see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.Was very interesting thank you

I can’t wait to see it a second time
I am very thankful to hear this very important interview. This topic should be integrated in the syllabus to be taught in all schools around the world.
The explanation reveals the simplicity of life and brought clarity to what appear to men over the century as complicated and absurd . It has changed the narrative of the developmental and evolutionary process as presented by cultural and Religious writing. Understanding really is an essential elements in learning . Real faith can only be said to be present when there is insight . It is absolutely mind blowing
Thank you
...How is this clear thinking ?..as many isn’t able to solve his own marriage. The truth is man doesn’t know how to even love the another brother who is of a black race...
See biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s Video/Freedom Essay 9 about how this explanation is the real liberation of women and also FAQ 8.1 ‘How does this reconcile the sexes’.In establishing the equality of all humans and brings compassionate and thus safe understanding to ALL of human behaviour — Jeremy Griffith’s breakthrough instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition also explains the horror of racism that has existed under the duress of the human condition and, most importantly, finally brings it to an end, see FAQ 9.1 ‘How do you explain racism?’. Also, for a testimonial on the power of this knowledge to end racism, we recommend the presentations from Franklin Mukakanga and Refentse Molosiwa in Video/Freedom Essay 8.My life seems perfect in the everyday. Healthy, loving family, amazing job etc etc. But have never felt more anxious about the world. In my life. I ask God for help/universe, then this pops in. Incredible insight. Thank you so much.
This is incredible reading. At last there is hope for mankind. We can have haven on earth. There’s no need for greed or hunger .We all have to make a u-turn for the survival of the human race.
Great contribution to global knowledge that requires deep reflection.

Thanks for this invaluable information exploring and explaining the human nature. Looking forward to learning more from your efforts!🌈
Impressive
The Bible does say the battle field is in our minds. Good information don’t forget to add Jesus to your Studys..
You might be interested in our FAQs about religion.
i think this has been the most honest thing i have ever hear in my life, and explains how we were falsely taught to know
I’m thankful and inspired
Wow very interesting I’m looking forward to that book

Excellent a most enlightening conversation
He also considers Christ to be one of the greatest, most sound (still able to access the truthful world of his soul), denial-free thinking prophets in history and has written about Christ’s life and its phenomenal importance in humanity’s journey in Freedom Essay 39.Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in chapter 4 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM as being the integrative meaning of life. This is also explained in our FAQs about religion, especially FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ and FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.I am open to new thoughts about the world we live in. Thanks.
I gave up after 10 minutes because the wrong tree was being barked up. There is no mystery here. Humans are stressed because of limited supply and increasing demand. Resources have remained limited while demands on them increased as the world became overpopulated. It brings out the worst in people.
Cheers, Percy Pearson BEnv Sc, BEnvS (Hons), BGrad Dip Teaching, Cert4 Mental Health Peer Support
I don’t know what this video is about but I am curious.
Love it
Astounding and Enlightening
We must harmonize religions, ideologies and other human spiritual cultures being based on scientific human conditions which state no races or biological differences exist among us.
Sadly, it’s not hard to assume that the only way to get today’s world to watch this is to say right off, “Move on, these words will be wasted on you”. ..aka.. . For fear they might learn sumthin'.. . reverse psychology. It’s just the world we live in.
Great deep thinking, articulating major challenging thoughts against the common acceptance of mediocre contents of established ways of thinking. I am very proud of his arguments scientifically backed up. Prof Ch. MaBa
So nice
Fascinating
Of dire need.
Hi John, it certainly is the 11th hour, but as Jeremy Griffith explains, once this breakthrough explanation takes off, it will turn that dire situation around, and very quickly, see FAQ 1.6. We also recommend reading Jeremy’s Freedom Essays 55-58 as they focus on this issue of ‘Do we fail or do we make it?’. These essays present a fearlessly honest analysis of the state of the world followed by how the extraordinary transforming power of this understanding can bring real peace to ourselves and neighbours, and save the world.
Truly enlightening, full of hope for resolution of human conflict and discontent. “Free will” occurs within expressions of love universally.

Really thought provoking.
Amazing, thank God for this biological explanation.
Shocked and amazed. How do we change the way we were programmed?
Very fascinating
I appreciate the work very much!
Fantastisch!! Welke plaats geeft u aan de Bijbel en in het bizonder aan het leven en de boodschappen van Jezus Christus? [Fantastic! What place do you give to the Bible and, in particular, to the life and messages of Jesus Christ? (Tr. from Dutch)]
Hi Angelique, Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. In terms of Christianity and Christ, Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from that pre-science view, and he has written about Christ’s life and its phenomenal importance in humanity’s journey in Freedom Essay 39. Our FAQs about religion are also helpful. work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents. We might also mention that you can find translations of key publications in Dutch (as well as many other languages) on our Translations page. I’m only partially free. Looking forward to learning more.
Hi Patrick, there is a lot to absorb here, so be patient! With regard to the transforming effect of being able to at last understand the human condition, as Part 4 of THE Interview explains, this understanding liberates us from an underlying insecurity and resulting psychosis that all humans have suffered from since we became a fully conscious species some 2 million years ago. As Jeremy Griffith explains, “while it will take a number of generations to heal all the upset in us humans, everyone can immediately live free of their upset. Congratulations to everybody involved in figuring out the human condition and everybody who played a part in bringing this to all! Thank you!!!
Incisive, precise and flawless. This is real time decoding of human behavior
Blessings & Gratitude & Respect
Amazing break through to understanding human behaviour. Practical, meaningful and purposeful.
Great interview 👍🎸🇺🇸🏐🏌️🏄🇬🇧
Love love 💕 love
Interesting. But will this ever evolve?

Awesome!
I’m exploring different perspectives on human psychology. Can you summarize the core evidence behind this theory?”
Amazing ! Been talking over and over lately about...R we evil ? Why are we angry? Enough ! I like to have more information ! Thanks so much !
What is so important about Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is that it finally explains the real reason for why humans’ competitive and power-hungry behaviour became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. Solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source so we can actually stop the destruction of ourselves and save the world.
Reminds me of ALOHA. It it free, powerful and everlasting. Outlasting hate and pain. Your findings bridged to the many ways of Aloha. Mahalo to you! Uncle*
Truly interesting
Wow. Well I am inclined to believe that if a person wants to change his behavior from bad to good he/she will. If not free will wise he/she won’t. I am hopefully for peace worldwide. I use to think it was only at Christmas time. But that was some time time ago I don’t believe that anymore. Thank you. Beautyfull and insightfuIl! bow to you. AMAZING! I LUV IT!
Fantastic
GREAT INTERVIEW AND I THINK ITS ABOUT TIME WE FINALLY FOUND THE ELIXIR OF LIFE. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.
Yes it is more in tune the study...with the scriptures
Is there a book available?
Hi Harold, yes, you can immediately access a copy of Jeremy Griffith’s book FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition (and his other key books), on the World Transformation Movement homepage under the ‘WHAT NEXT’ section. Intrigued
Thank you for this Knowledge and sharing it
Are they all our instincts or are they behaviors we were taught. Do we really have that many true instincts.
We are split from our soul because we couldn’t bear its confronting and condemning expectation that we should behave cooperatively and lovingly.”So, our behaviours are not instinctive, they are a result of a psychosis caused by the instinct vs intellect clash. Obviously the way this psychosis expresses itself is moderated by the particular cultural mores of the society we live in, and the parental values we are taught as we grow up.informative
