It appears very interesting: About time it’s written. Would love to read the philosophy behind it & hoping it’s for the right reason. Is this for the benefit of the common people?
WTM Admin
The World Transformation Movement and Jeremy Griffith’s sole aim is to stop human suffering so this work is committed to helping all people. You can read about the motivation behind Jeremy’s tireless efforts in FAQ 2.1. Also FAQ 3.1 is about the WTM which is a global not-for-profit movement dedicated to transforming the individual, the human race and thus our world through bringing psychologically relieving biological understanding to the underlying problem in all human affairs of the human condition, humans’ extraordinary capacity for what has been referred to as ‘good and evil’. Therefore, due to this information’s world-saving importance, we make all our many publications freely available online for the benefit of everyone. You may like to explore our homepage which provides the perfect guide to pursue your interest.

How would natural disasters fit in this conversation?
WTM Admin
Thank you for your appreciative comment Ken and re-reading or re-watching THE Interview, and also looking at the video/essay series that follows it, is exactly what we recommend. All our key publications are freely available on our homepage which provides the perfect guide to pursue your interest.
In terms of your question, all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by us humans. Solving this underlying issue of our destructive behaviour won’t stop natural disasters but it will certainly help us cope with and recover from them because, as THE Interview explains, instead of being selfishly preoccupied with power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world, see FAQ 1.5.

You mentioned chimpanzees and how different their behavior is from the bonobo. We also share over 99% of our genetic makeup with the chimpanzee who act completely differently. So what makes you think we’re more related to the billable loving relationship then we are with the more competitive chimpanzee makeup? I’m not following the science directly here seems like there’s a gap in your Theory
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith discusses in THE Interview, and in more detail in his definitive book FREEDOM (chapter 5), that the cooperative and gentle of the bonobo chimpanzee represent a far better model of our human ancestors than the common chimpanzee. Yes, both do share approximately 99% of their DNA with humans, however bonobo physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, better match our human ancestors. Reduced canine size is particularly relevant as it is arguably the outstanding features of the hominin clade, and universally accepted as an indication of reduced aggression. Fossil evidence of our cooperative past, including reduced canines, has lead the prominent anthropologist C. Owen Lovejoy to write that “our species-defining cooperative mutualism can now be seen to extend well beyond the deepest Pliocene [well beyond 5.3 mya]”. No, our selfishness and aggression is not instinctive in origin; all the evidence shows that our instinctive heritage is cooperate.
Beverley langley
Amazing , I’ve always had debate with my husband ,he’s always said we’re like animals ,I say we are not we can decide to not kill etc , and I think if children are looked after properly they wouldn’t go off the rails . Nurture
WTM Admin
Yes it is amazing to be able to scientifically understand we do have all-loving instincts but as THE Interview explains until we could explain the human condition and truthfully defend our aggressive behaviour humans had no choice but to use false excuses for it. It is this crux question of why when our instincts are to be loving and selfless are we so competitive and selfish that Jeremy Griffith answers and in doing so explains the paramount importance nurturing has played in human development. What is astonishing is now the human condition is solved we can understand it has been humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge that has compromised our ability to nurture and now that preoccupation ends nurturing will again become humanity’s central focus. You can read more about the impact of the human condition on our ability to nurture in chapter 8:16C of Jeremy’s book FREEDOM.

This theory is interesting and makes a great argument for our behaviour, but pardon me for my humble opinion, but I think the biggest cause for our state of affairs is the competition in life for air, food, land, sex. The condition for these things will only get worse as we multiply to greater and greater numbers! population control is the best solution to most of these problems.

I’m just in the first part. I like the basic premise. I take exception to the idea that animals other than humans do not have working conscious minds. Having lived with cats, which are apex predators, for years, and having worked with and studied other animals for many years, they are clearly capable of intense connection and understanding of humans and other species, problem solving and even logic.
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview that consciousness means being sufficiently aware of how experiences are related to attempt to manage change from a basis of understanding cause and effect. Clearly, while other animals have various levels of ‘awareness’ none can consciously manage events like humans can, and so it is accurate to describe humans as the only animals possessing ‘fully conscious minds’, see FAQ 5.5 ‘Aren’t other animals capable of conscious thought like humans? / How can you say humans are the only fully conscious animals?’

Get to the point already!!!!
WTM Admin
We do appreciate our material can be difficult to absorb Lorraine. However, we suggest that if you persist you will come to realise that it is not the presentation but it is our fear of the subject that is preventing us ‘hearing’ what is being said. The human condition is the most fearful of subjects because it’s the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad, and our fear of going anywhere near this fundamental question can make it hard to access. We recommend Video/Freedom Essay 1 titled ‘Your block to the most wonderful of all gifts’ as it explains this initial ‘deaf effect’ which is also summarised in WTM FAQ 1.16.
Ann
Love it. I have believed this all my life...I am so happy to hear it explained scientifically. Thank you.

This is so amazing and interesting.

This is a valid thought process and most likely true. But the major handicap is the same as Jesus Christs solution of 2 rules to solve and save life. It needs to be participated by the entire population of the world.
WTM Admin
While religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the unique breakthrough of biologist Jeremy Griffith’s work, see FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’. Because it is a rational, accountable, scientific explanation, everyone will eventually take it up. So while it may take time for everyone to access this breakthrough (because the human condition has historically been such a fearful, off-limits topic), once this catches on through people recognising the importance of it and supporting it, the infectious enthusiasm and selfless love it liberates will spread like wildfire. And there’s already a growing momentum of support building around the world with new World Transformation Movement (WTM) centres continually opening across all corners of the globe to promote Jeremy’s work (see here) and also the ecstatic responses THE Interview is receiving each day at the top of our homepage!

I WATCHED THE INTERVIEW WITH A LOT OF ATTENTION AND CONSTERNATION. WONDERING THE DISPLAY OF KNOWLEDGE BY BROTHER JEREMY. IT WAS INTERESTING AND AN EYE-OPENER FOR ME. EAGER TO LEARN MORE AND BE A DISCIPLE OF THIS IDEOLOGY THAT HELPS HUMANITY TO HEAL ITS CORRUPTED HUMAN CONDITION. THANK YOU CRAIG FOR THE INTERVIEW.
WTM Admin
Thank you Rev Tinshu for your kind comment. At the top of our homepage—HumanCondition.com—it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ and guides you through the steps to pursue your interest! This includes registering for our free, live events with Jeremy Griffith and others and joining our popular Facebook Group. Also our Transformation page (which follows on from Part 4 of THE Interview) is about the Transformed Way of Living or how we live in support of this understanding. To quote “We now have the completely redeeming, uplifting and healing biological understanding of the core mystery and problem about human behaviour of our so-called ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition—thus ending all the conflict and suffering in human life at its source, and providing the now urgently needed road map for the complete rehabilitation and transformation of our lives and world!” Also our FAQ 4.1 importantly explains how this new Transformed Way of Living is fundamentally different to all the previous ways, including religion, in which we abandoned our upset life and lived instead in accordance with more cooperative and selfless principles. So there is no ‘discipleship’ or deference to a person involved; this is a deference to the logic of the biological ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition (also see FAQ 3.13).
Also Reverend, we thought you would be most interested in our FAQs about religion. These summarise how explanation of the human condition demystifies religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts.
Marianne
Very interesting and gratifying. I’m a psychotherapist. I frequently explain to clients that we all have instincts but because humans are conscious we are not dominated by them as animals are. It’s important that we acknowledge those instincts but not be dominated by them or feel guilty for having them. Denying this causes conflict and a need to compartmentalize resulting in individual and collective disharmony
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Marianne. Yes we aren’t dominated by our instincts because we had to defy them to fulfil our conscious mind’s necessary search for knowledge. As THE Interview explains this defiance of our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulted in humans becoming angry, egocentric and alienated—the upset state of our human condition. We can now understand this upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the guilt and shame we carry for departing from our all-loving instincts and becoming so upset is finally relieved. Jeremy Griffith’s work fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race. It establishes that we are good and not bad after all by resolving the conflict between our intellect and instinct and making possible our collective harmony—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough! You may be interested in the response that Professor Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, made to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis?’ (this response forms the basis of WTM FAQ 1.34).

This is music to my ears! Since the early 80s I’ve had a vision of kindred spirits, if you will, experiencing a convergence of thought to bring peace. The events of 9 11 added to that convergence the thought of a paradigm shift in consciousness that would abandon the archaic “survival of the fittest “ and move to compassionate inclusion. That awakening is here! What is happening on the world stage in the struggle for dominance and greed and power is the full exposure that this philosophy has run its course. Thank you for opening the scientific inquiry! I definitely want to be a part of this new powerful thought process!
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Michael. Yes we are certainly in critical need of a deeper understanding of ourselves so we can put an end to all the suffering and horror that our condition creates. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. What Jeremy is putting forward is that for there to be a fundamental change in our human situation we had to understand the human condition – humans’ capacity for good and evil – from a biological perspective.

Grace Branch
Amazingly simple explanation for all the turmoil with us . Will it change the World and the way people think and behave I don’t know but I pray that it does
WTM Admin
With more digestion Grace we suggest you will see it most certainly will change the world as long as people, who do appreciate its truth, support it. As Jeremy Griffith explains, once the extraordinary transforming power of this understanding takes off, it will turn things around almost overnight, see FAQ 1.4. And this momentum of support is underway with new World Transformation Movement (WTM) centres continually opening around the world to promote this information (see our centres here). Through people recognising the importance of this world-saving explanation and supporting it, the infectious enthusiasm and selfless love this liberates will see it spread like wildfire. To become involved and help bring this world-saving information to the attention of others, see how to become part of the WTM here on our Transformation page.

Beware the ‘deaf effect’ — your mind will initially resist the issue of our corrupted condition and so find it hard to take in or hear what’s being said, but if you’re patient you’ll find the redeeming explanation of our condition pure relief.

The human condition is made whole by God through Jesus Christ. Great men of science like Galileo, Mendel, Newton, Kepler, Pasteur, Copernicus, Descartes understood the conscience mind and believed and professed faith in God.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Brad. We certainly respect people’s religious views and feel it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. He also considers Christ to be one of the greatest, most sound (still able to access the truthful world of his soul), denial-free thinking prophets in history and has written about Christ’s life and its phenomenal importance in humanity’s journey in Freedom Essay 39.
Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in chapter 4 of FREEDOM as being the integrative meaning of life. (See also FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.)
The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.
WTM Admin
Great to learn of your enthusiasm for our work Kristen! Also our Transformation page (which follows on from Part 4 of THE Interview) and is about the Transformed Way of Living or how we put this all-compassionate but all-confronting knowledge into practice. To quote “We now have the completely redeeming, uplifting and healing biological understanding of the core mystery and problem about human behaviour of our so-called ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition—thus ending all the conflict and suffering in human life at its source, and providing the now urgently needed road map for the complete rehabilitation and transformation of our lives and world!” All that the Transformation page explains is summarised in our FAQ 4.1 and includes references to Freedom Essays and Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM.

It’s a great interview!
Bob Mathieson
Having studied and lived in hunter gatherer society I became aware of the disconnect that modern civilizations have with their relationship toward nature and the evolutionary pathway that required a symbiotic interdependence with all living things including and especially with our own species. Competition with resources and the desire to control them led to the concepts of ownership, rights, laws, belief systems, boundaries, power, and control have led us to desire more and more and the arrival of status is born. This straying from the natural position we once had in the ecosystem called Earth has been the breeding ground for additional psychological and physical suffering of emmense proportion. In order to survive in this new unnatural psychological landscape, our species slowly developed a false self. That is ego as we call it today which allowed us to interact with each other with some form of protection as the true self which we were all born with was to easily exploited and traumatized. It is a tremendously complex multi layered labyrinth of conditioning both genetic and developed from our early individual environments. However, the solutions are embarrassingly simple which I think you are alluding to. When I lived amongst hunter gatherer peoples I gained insight into this ancient once balanced and harmonising, interdependent and successful strategy
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Bob. The explanation of the human condition does take time to digest but as THE Interview explains our anger, egocentricity, and alienation from our all-loving instincts and resulting disconnect from nature, isn’t the result of “competition with resources and the desire to control them”, rather it is the result of a psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect (which Video/Freedom Essay 3 further explains). Significantly a psychosis is changeable as it can be healed through understanding so the solution is simple and all-powerful (see FAQ 1.4). Also, you can read an in-depth description of the history of competition emphasising biology and left wing, cooperation emphasising biology in Jeremy Griffith’s booklet Death by Dogma (see the section titled ‘The progression of biological arguments that led to the rise of Critical Theory’. This section also deals with the view that the source of human selfishness and greed was the accumulation of possessions following the advent of agriculture and a sedentary society.
Brett Harrison
Jeremy Griffith is spot on with his assessment. There is a bigger question behind his work which is not addressed which is perhaps even more important in our quest to live harmoniously together and with the earth. That question is: how and why did we - humans - become self conscious in the first place? Finding and understanding the answers to this question will provide even greater opportunity for us to dissolve the Human Condition. There is a rare, controversial yet excellent book that addresses this question for anyone who is interested by Brett Ashcroft Harrison.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Brett. In terms of the question you raise in Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains consciousness is a result of our biology and directs the audience to chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM for how we humans became fully conscious (summarised in FAQ 5.4 ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?). Here Jeremy explains becoming conscious was dependent on being able to think meaningfully, and because the underlying theme of the universe is integration (see FAQ 5.3 ‘What is the meaning of life?), that meant our distant ape ancestors had to first become selfless, which occurred through the nurturing based love-indoctrination process (see FAQ 5.2 ‘How did we humans acquire our all-loving, unconditionally selfless moral conscience?’).

It is amazing how human beings cling so tightly to past beliefs even when we’ve been able to demonstrate and prove something difference. The human brain and psychology is based on various observances and accepted as truth based on who made the observation. This perspective provides a deeper understanding and proof of how as a species we have accepted beliefs presented by others rather than what we have experienced ourselves.
adam McCrum
We all know of the innocence in newborns; the mother, by giving birth, then takes on the innocence of her child, both sets of innocence then coalesce to create a loving bond. The innocent child affects the innocent mother to prolong a lasting love which then permeates into the rest of the world. ..!

That is an amazing interview, and what an incredible explanation add gratitude for all things and we could live in complete harmony 😀
Lonnie Roy Elliott
I must watch this a few times as not to miss any critical points. Interesting! I wonder how or if this will go against the word of God in any way.
WTM Admin
Explanation of the human condition produces a huge paradigm shift in our thinking, which takes time to digest, so re-watching THE Interview Lonnie Roy, and also watching the video series that follows it, is exactly what we recommend. In terms of your question Jeremy Griffith’s work at last reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. You might find our FAQs about religion helpful. Also Jeremy’s Freedom Essays 38 – 41, which decipher religion, are absolutely fascinating. In fact this understanding is so powerful it actually reconciles all the polarities of human life. To quote Jeremy’s book FREEDOMchapter 4: “Yes, the instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition makes sense of and reconciles all the unresolved manifestations of the polarities of the human situation—‘good’ vs ‘evil’, idealism or ‘God’ vs human’s non-ideal existence, religion vs science, holism vs mechanism, altruism vs egotism, communism vs capitalism, conscience vs conscious, and so on—thus ameliorating or healing, and finally ending, the psychologically upset, divisive way we have been living!”
Victoria Valentine
Jeremy Griffith’s “The Human Condition” gives a scientific explanation of the anger that is deeply embedded in the human consciousness. With understanding, we can climb out of the violent quagmire that we are trapped in. I believe this book should be studied in educational institutions and promoted to all communities. Bravo and thank you Mr. Griffith!
Black Fan
So, the new idealism vs old idealism ?!?! The new utopia vs the old one.!!! So impressive... And how we peoples will transformate our selves. This is not clear ...
In a moment everybody will wake up good, but not bad ?!?! Psyhosys absolutely full psyhosis. Yes, as animals we were good, and ruled only by instincts for survivor. But now is the same. Capitalism, concurency, wars, egoism personal and national. Fighting for resurses... No psyhological bs can change this. The society, the politics is the real evil.
WTM Admin
THE Interview explains this is not some pseudo idealistic vision of utopia, rather it is a first-principle biological explanation for why we haven’t been cooperative. It is only with the intellect defended for why it had to defy our ‘idealistic’ instincts and become ‘realistic’, that the cooperative world becomes possible, or even legitimate. FAQ 6.5 further explains this critical difference between this work and pseudo idealistic movements.
Also, Jeremy Griffith explains we suffer from the conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled human condition, not the genetic-opportunism-based, animal condition, and, most importantly, this psychosis can be healed with understanding. Politics emerged to manage our psychosis, it is not the cause of it. It does take time to digest, but this breakthrough instinct vs intellect explanation at last reconciles the polarities of life including left and right wings of politics, see FAQ 7.1.
Paul DiNardo
Amazing stuff. These bonobo have 99 percent our makeup. They have incredible compassion. Also the reading Jeremy read from the man [the great Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky] who was describing a world where there was unconditional love. This is incredible. Glad I listened further. Thank you
Jill Andre
More please...thank you!!!
Richard Kennedy
How do you explain that humans are the Only Animal on the Planet that kills for fun ?
WTM Admin
As THE Interview discusses there is a psychological dimension to our behaviour, that we humans have suffered not from the genetic-opportunism-based, non-psychological animal condition, but the conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled human condition. Jeremy Griffith explains that to fulfil the great potential of our fully conscious mind we had to defy our cooperative moral instincts. This defiance or battle resulted in humans’ psychologically upset state and, in the extreme, that upset produces murderous or what we have historically termed ‘evil’ behaviour. What is so utterly exonerating and psychologically healing about our ability to now understand this is that we can finally appreciate that there was a very good reason—indeed heroic reason—for such dark volcanic forces in us humans. Importantly, as Jeremy stresses, this understanding of why we became upset as a species does not condone or sanction ‘evil’, rather, through bringing understanding to humans’ upset behaviour, it gives us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate it (see FAQ 1.38).

Fantastic! This is what the world needs! The last two years of world pandemic should be enough to show us that we must think as one. We must look upon each other with love and kindness and recognize our oneness with all that is good!
john crump
Jeremy,
Yours is a brilliant and powerful hypothesis, whilst the how, when and why would be open for discussion, there is no dispute that we live with a condition of collective psychosis.
The difficult mission is how to reverse this affliction on a universal scale
Thank You for sharing this powerful message.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment John. Certainly there is a lot here to digest, but we suggest that the more you do, the more you will appreciate just how accountable and evidenced, and explanatory – just how ‘true’ – the ‘how, when and why’ of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition actually is.
With regard to reversing this affliction on a universal scale, once people gain an appreciation for how all-clarifying, all-reconciling and all-liberating this knowledge is, the reversal of our psychosis happens quickly, as evidenced by the ecstatic responses at the top of our homepage! What is difficult though is breaking through the historic fear we understandably have to discussion of the human condition and also the resistance humans have to change (see Video/Freedom Essay 1 which follows THE Interview in our Main Videos). So, as with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it will take time to implement this reversal universally but once this information gets a foothold, through enough people developing a deep appreciation and desire to support it, the selfless love and energy that will generate will solve our problems very quickly. As Part 4 of THE Interview explains, instead of being selfishly preoccupied with power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world. Part 4 also explains, even though it will take generations for the upset within us to be completely healed importantly we can be immediately free of its effects (also see FAQ 4.1 and FAQ 4.4 and our Transformation page).

I am a 69 year old biologist and one of the people referred to who nurture and believe in goodness. Its been hard as that is what the human race should have been doing. I so often had to explain my being different. My brother is the same way. It made life hard and now after the 4 part interview I understand the concious mind and what happened to mankind. My eyes have been opened again. Believe this is so important for our world and in listening learned the simple yet vital importance in the human condition, thank you...I will gain strength and stop feeling uncomfortable about being different. I needed this and will be more positive and come back and learn so well that I too can tell it. The answer was right in front of those who saw it. This is important and and important movement. Lots to learn and not anything to do with so much selling or selling out. Its pure as it should be. Wonderful you were born!!!!

The level of suicide and drug overdose alone even in small communities like my own is alarming. There is a tendency to think of their suicides in terms of ‘they failed...they didn’t make the cut...the world was too tough for them...they weren’t strong enough’ instead of taking more collective responsibility and a larger picture perspective to say “what’s going on in our society that so many young people and young families are not coping?”. "Where have ‘we’ as a society gone wrong ...what social ‘climate’ have we helped create or reinforce that is resulting in greater sense of helplessness and alienation of young people...of young adults who say ‘there’s just no use in trying because I can’t compete out there’.
Its a great start to reinforce that each person on the planet is good and beautiful and sufficient instead of being made to feel ‘bad/evil or not beautiful or insufficient... in all regards never good enough. The self help humanistic gurus of the 1970s attempted to help with teaching self affirmation statements like ’I am loving and lovable; I am beautiful, I am a good person, I’m O.K. and You’re O.K.‘ in efforts to reprogram ourselves which, for many of us, took decades.
Jeremy Griffith’s approach is definately ’helpful to the human condition'!

Thank you so much for your comment Rodney. Yes, levels of mental distress have reached frightening levels, and it is heartbreaking what it is doing to younger generations. As you intimate, the problem is ultimately about self-worth; everyone feels ‘bad/evil or not beautiful or insufficient.’ Humanity has tried the New Age method of self-affirmation, but ultimately the only thing that could stop the ever increasing levels of upset and bring true affirmation was the rational, biological explanation of why we are worthwhile, which is what Jeremy Griffith has presented. You may be interested in FAQ 1.34, which is directed to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis?’ and is written by Professor Harry Prosen, the former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association. Part of what Professor Prosen writes is that, “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from, which is non-personal and thus more easily confronted, absorbed and accepted. It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”

I found these video comments truly inspirational.

I was introduced to the bonobo community years ago & a surging ‘YES of course!’ resonated in my mind & ‘heart’ as I recognised the need for Consistent Nurture in our human community & the fruits that are possible in terms of non-competitive love, acceptance & inclusion of all …starting with ourselves!
Also why the story of Jesus (archetype &/or actual) includes the giving of Mother Mary (archetype &/or actual) to Humanity as a Maternal source of Nurture❣️
Jeremy has articulated the biological dynamics of the seeming age old discord within ourselves in a way that is accessible to all…from both faith &/or secular backgrounds…I always knew a paradigm shift would come from the world of Philosophy (as it influencing human thinking, and thereby acting, enmass)…how wonderful that this philosophy about understanding humanity has come from understanding humanity, the whole of humanity’s journey in terms of body & ‘soul’, the effects of consciousness on our flesh and blood…or should I say nervous systems👌

Brilliant..I now understand why I often get upset when people don’t show love and understanding to each other..I am not a sheep...I am Adam stork

To put something with such a period into a meaningful perspective is a difficult task. Yet, you have done it so beautifully. Psychosis can be healed with compassion. A fall from consciousness. Be kind to everyone you never know what they are going through.

Very interesting and full of common sense in my view

It all makes sense. How can you apply this to heal the distress in the world.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your question Maria and it is astonishing to finally be able to make sense of human life! Once people gain an appreciation for how all-clarifying, all-reconciling and all-liberating this knowledge is the transformation and healing happens quickly as you can see from the ecstatic responses at the top of our homepage! What is challenging is breaking through the historic fear we understandably have to discussion of the human condition and also the resistance humans have to change (see Video/Freedom Essay 1 which follows THE Interview in our Main Videos). So, as with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it will take time to implement the change universally but once this information gets a foothold through enough people developing a deep appreciation and desire to support it all the distress in the world with subside and the world will heal—see FAQ 1.5.
Even though THE Interview is only a summary presentation, Part 4 does explain that for the upset within us to be completely healed it will take generations but importantly we can be immediately free of its effects (also see FAQ 4.1). This is further explained on our Transformation page and also comprehensively answered in Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOMchapter 9.
Brian Arsenault
If I may so humbly put it, the 4 part interview provides us with a wakeup call. That call is an understanding of a process that started when the human species was ready to elevate (evolve) to human consciousness. The interview points out that we didn’t derive solely from the heritage of our primate instincts but also have a developmental process happening with our human consciousness. The revelation, we know longer have to prove we are good, its inherently already in place. In order to move forward together as a human race, is to recognize that in the process of developing human consciousness a shift in our thinking will take place. This shift is the realization that there is no condemnation in letting go of our early primate instinctive patterns of living. In conclusion, be mindful to the development of human consciousness, its very core has humanities best interests at heart.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Brian. Yes, a great shift in our thinking will take place. Being able to understand the human condition, namely that our emerging conscious mind had to defy our instincts in order to find the knowledge needed to manage life, means that we no longer have to be insecure about our seemingly destructive behaviour. There is no longer any ‘condemnation’; this is the redeeming information we needed. As you say, despite appearing to be ‘bad’, it turns out that the conscious mind is the hero of the whole story.
Erika mccolley
Wow!!! Truly an eye opening, very enlightening and empowering. Iam grateful for his research and hope that everyone gets to hear this interview and gets the book to finally end this world 's suffering.

For this great contribution to be a great contribution for all conflicting parties, it would have to be observed by said parties. There lies the need for conversation. I see a horrible conflict of logic there.

With more digestion we suggest you will see it isn’t too late to save the world as long as people, who do appreciate its truth, support it. It is certainly the 11th hour, but as Jeremy Griffith explains, once this takes off, this information will turn things around almost overnight, see FAQ 1.4. We recommend Jeremy’s Freedom Essays about ‘Do we fail or do we make it?’ (see F. Essays 55—58). These present a fearlessly honest analysis of the state of the world followed by how the extraordinary transforming power of this information can save the world. So come and help us do exactly that and register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith and join our WTM Community Facebook Group to share in this transforming knowledge.

You stay away from the word sin and call it instinct instead
WTM Admin
THE Interview is only a summary presentation, however rather than ‘stay away from the word sin’ as you suggest, it not only explains what sin is and where it comes from, but also how we are not bad for having become self-corrupted – this is, in fact, the very essence of Jeremy Griffith’s treatise. For example, THE Interview explains how the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! This understanding fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race. It establishes that we humans are good and not bad after all. With this understanding we can finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough. We suggest our FAQs about religion and also Jeremy’s Freedom Essays 38 – 41, which decipher religion, are absolutely fascinating.
Liz
This will never happen....80% will never do the right thing....those that just MUST be the bad seed knowingly or unknowingly Evil will NEVER help GOOD to win. ..... in short those that lack the brain power to understand the problem or goal wanted......will never help the ones that do..to save them.
WTM Admin
We suggest you look deeper as THE Interview explains humans’ psychological upset, or what we have historically called ‘evil’, is not a product of unchangeable savage animal instincts within us, of ‘bad seeds’, but the result of a universal psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect, and a psychosis is changeable as it can be healed through understanding. See FAQ 1.6 summaries how this understanding ends human suffering at its source and unites the human race. Also see FAQ 1.38 ‘Aren’t some people just born psychopathic, or even ‘evil’?’
Asipau Pamela McMoore
It’s a huge breakthrough. Useful to a clearer understanding of Religion and the Biblical account of Adam and Eve’s vital role in the whole scheme of life’s purpose. Awesome!
The Human Condition is a free choice having the ability to Know and be Wise in that knowing.

Shannon Bailey
Daniel Schmachtenberger’s talk at Emergence provides a fascinating deeper perspective on the emergence of human consciousness as an innate property of the universe and adds to this conversation, roots that go back to atomic, molecular, cellular, attraction and synergy that makes this even more understandable for me
WTM Admin
Key to the emergence of consciousness is ‘Integrative Meaning’ or the law of physics known as ‘negative entropy’ (see FAQ 5.3). Under the auspices of this law, matter grows more and more complex or ‘integrated’. In paragraph 337 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, Jeremy quotes Tielhard de Chardin, who describes how this process ultimately gives rise to the emergence of consciousness, “life can no longer be regarded as a superficial accident in the universe: we must look on it as…ready to seep through the narrowest fissure at any point whatsoever in the cosmos—and, once it has appeared, obliged to use every opportunity and every means to reach the furthest extremity of everything it can attain: the ultimate, externally, of complexity, internally of consciousness.” If you would like to gain a better understanding of exactly how consciousness was liberated in our distant ancestors, FAQ 5.4 gives an overview of what consciousness is, its origins and how humans acquired consciousness when other animals couldn’t. You’ll see at the end of that FAQ that you can read Jeremy’s more detailed explanations about all of this in Freedom Essay 24 titled ‘How did consciousness emerge in humans’ and in chapter 7 of FREEDOM, titled ‘What is Consciousness, and Why, How and When Did Humans’ Unique Conscious Mind Emerge?’

Amazing!
Absolutely brilliant. Informative and great interview Craig
Thank goodness we finally have this wonderful Genius to help us humans, to be able to help ourselves & heal the whole human race & make the world a much better place! Thank you Thank you 🙏 ❤️😍🌷
It appears very interesting: About time it’s written. Would love to read the philosophy behind it & hoping it’s for the right reason. Is this for the benefit of the common people?
I am so very happy to read this. I want to see more when it is possible
Yes the truth will set you free. Thank-you for sharing, I plan on reading it again and again. How would natural disasters fit in this conversation?
Thank you for your appreciative comment Ken and re-reading or re-watching THE Interview, and also looking at the video/essay series that follows it, is exactly what we recommend. All our key publications are freely available on our homepage which provides the perfect guide to pursue your interest. In terms of your question, all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by us humans. Solving this underlying issue of our destructive behaviour won’t stop natural disasters but it will certainly help us cope with and recover from them because, as THE Interview explains, instead of being selfishly preoccupied with power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world, see FAQ 1.5.I have waited 65 yrs for this
Sounds brilliant, is it all re love.
Read your Bible to find out about the human condition.
Trailblazer for pointing us to the true North
You mentioned chimpanzees and how different their behavior is from the bonobo. We also share over 99% of our genetic makeup with the chimpanzee who act completely differently. So what makes you think we’re more related to the billable loving relationship then we are with the more competitive chimpanzee makeup? I’m not following the science directly here seems like there’s a gap in your Theory
Amazing , I’ve always had debate with my husband ,he’s always said we’re like animals ,I say we are not we can decide to not kill etc , and I think if children are looked after properly they wouldn’t go off the rails . Nurture
Keen to hear more. Watching from Australia
I’ve been waiting for more than 50 years for this. So happy to see this in writing. I knew a new world was coming and I’m happy to be a part of it. The veil is down! Rejoice.
This guys a genius
This theory is interesting and makes a great argument for our behaviour, but pardon me for my humble opinion, but I think the biggest cause for our state of affairs is the competition in life for air, food, land, sex. The condition for these things will only get worse as we multiply to greater and greater numbers! population control is the best solution to most of these problems.
Profound thoughts
Great and very informative
I’m just in the first part. I like the basic premise. I take exception to the idea that animals other than humans do not have working conscious minds. Having lived with cats, which are apex predators, for years, and having worked with and studied other animals for many years, they are clearly capable of intense connection and understanding of humans and other species, problem solving and even logic.
Hello. How are you? It was very innovative and creative. Thanks
Get to the point already!!!!
In the course of time humans have no privileges. We R no more than animals. Clever? But we cannot escape geography & thus competing interests. It is our Achilles heal.
excellent information for those of us who want to help others heal thank you
The truth, and yes we certainly need this to be promoted in order to save the people from themselves
I’d be very interested in your book. We all need this..🙂
Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition is freely available in many different formats HERE on our homepage — so you can read it online or download it and print your own copy immediately! Jeremy’s other key books, including the booklet version of THE Interview, are also freely available at this link and you can also download the free Kindle versions from Amazon. Otherwise you can purchase hard copies of Jeremy’s books from Amazon or other good bookstores.
So there is no ‘discipleship’ or deference to a person involved; this is a deference to the logic of the biological ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition (also see FAQ 3.13).Also Reverend, we thought you would be most interested in our FAQs about religion. These summarise how explanation of the human condition demystifies religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts.Very interesting and gratifying.
Wonderful, hopefully we move in this direction.
We need to change for sure.
Thank you. The World Needs This Message! 🙋❤️✨🙏🇦🇺
Fascinating, hopeful
This is music to my ears! Since the early 80s I’ve had a vision of kindred spirits, if you will, experiencing a convergence of thought to bring peace. The events of 9 11 added to that convergence the thought of a paradigm shift in consciousness that would abandon the archaic “survival of the fittest “ and move to compassionate inclusion. That awakening is here! What is happening on the world stage in the struggle for dominance and greed and power is the full exposure that this philosophy has run its course. Thank you for opening the scientific inquiry! I definitely want to be a part of this new powerful thought process!
Excellent explanation
Yes, here is an explanation that summarizes our struggles and leads us to hope for our collective future.
What an enlightening talk, Thankyou.
Amazingly simple explanation for all the turmoil with us . Will it change the World and the way people think and behave I don’t know but I pray that it does
With more digestion Grace we suggest you will see it most certainly will change the world as long as people, who do appreciate its truth, support it.
Absolutely brilliant and enlightening! Thank you.
Not in my world. I see compassion, altruism and kindness all around. Where is your head at to have this point of view?
A very dynamic book!
I understand the material in the interview. And with gratitude and gladness. But Which book or video explains how to use or put this knowledge into practice. In other words, having grasped the idea, What’s the next step for an individual? Meetings? Read more? What’s next.
The human condition is made whole by God through Jesus Christ. Great men of science like Galileo, Mendel, Newton, Kepler, Pasteur, Copernicus, Descartes understood the conscience mind and believed and professed faith in God.
He also considers Christ to be one of the greatest, most sound (still able to access the truthful world of his soul), denial-free thinking prophets in history and has written about Christ’s life and its phenomenal importance in humanity’s journey in Freedom Essay 39.Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in chapter 4 of FREEDOM as being the integrative meaning of life. (See also FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.)The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.Great to learn of your enthusiasm for our work Kristen! At the top of our homepage—HumanCondition.com—it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview above?’ and guides you through the steps to pursue your interest! This includes registering our free, live, interactive events with Jeremy Griffith and others, joining our popular Facebook Group and visiting our WTM Community page.
Very interesting and profound it makes complete sense a new perspective in understanding human nature and our way back to human understanding of our consciousness as a collective. thank you for this awe inspiring new outlook.
Thank you, Pure Hearted human
I found the Interview profound and scientifically illuminating. How interesting it was to discover that human freedom lies at the core of this new perspective! Thank you very much for the presentation.
Yes ! this is it ! It was always understanding. thank You.
OMG yes yes yes!!! Thank you for sharing this interview. 😊
Breath of fresh air in a stifled atmosphere in my opinion, thanking you both very kindly …
I would need to listen to the whole interview again as I felt it was a lot to take in. Thank you so much for taken the trouble to share. I appreciate so much.
We all know of the innocence in newborns; the mother, by giving birth, then takes on the innocence of her child, both sets of innocence then coalesce to create a loving bond. The innocent child affects the innocent mother to prolong a lasting love which then permeates into the rest of the world. ..!
Thankyou ❤️
That is an amazing interview, and what an incredible explanation add gratitude for all things and we could live in complete harmony 😀
I must watch this a few times as not to miss any critical points. Interesting! I wonder how or if this will go against the word of God in any way.
To quote Jeremy’s book FREEDOM chapter 4: “Yes, the instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition makes sense of and reconciles all the unresolved manifestations of the polarities of the human situation—‘good’ vs ‘evil’, idealism or ‘God’ vs human’s non-ideal existence, religion vs science, holism vs mechanism, altruism vs egotism, communism vs capitalism, conscience vs conscious, and so on—thus ameliorating or healing, and finally ending, the psychologically upset, divisive way we have been living!”
Griffith!
It does take time to digest, but this breakthrough instinct vs intellect explanation at last reconciles the polarities of life including left and right wings of politics, see FAQ 7.1.Amazing stuff. These bonobo have 99 percent our makeup. They have incredible compassion. Also the reading Jeremy read from the man [the great Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky] who was describing a world where there was unconditional love. This is incredible. Glad I listened further. Thank you
More please...thank you!!!
How do you explain that humans are the Only Animal on the Planet that kills for fun ?
Incredible! Everyone must see this! Perfectly backed up with evidence and an argument that I don’t want to question! 🙂❤️
Very interesting. How do I go about buying your book please?

You can also download the free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you want to read or acquire a copy immediately all Jeremy’s books are freely available, in many different formats, HERE on our homepage! So you can read it online or download it and print your own copy straight away!
Fantastic! This is what the world needs! The last two years of world pandemic should be enough to show us that we must think as one. We must look upon each other with love and kindness and recognize our oneness with all that is good!
Jeremy, Yours is a brilliant and powerful hypothesis, whilst the how, when and why would be open for discussion, there is no dispute that we live with a condition of collective psychosis. The difficult mission is how to reverse this affliction on a universal scale Thank You for sharing this powerful message.
Thank you for your comment John. Certainly there is a lot here to digest, but we suggest that the more you do, the more you will appreciate just how accountable and evidenced, and explanatory – just how ‘true’ – the ‘how, when and why’ of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition actually is.With regard to reversing this affliction on a universal scale, once people gain an appreciation for how all-clarifying, all-reconciling and all-liberating this knowledge is, the reversal of our psychosis happens quickly, as evidenced by the ecstatic responses at the top of our homepage! Part 4 also explains, even though it will take generations for the upset within us to be completely healed importantly we can be immediately free of its effects (also see FAQ 4.1 and FAQ 4.4 and our Transformation page).Eye opening and brilliant!
*This was meant for me , Now is the time 🏁
Brilliant!!!! Speechless!!! Wow!!
Verry verry interesting. Thank you.
Clear terms used to build cohesive logical arguments. Excellent to see their is a community building around these important tenets of human thought processes.
A human psychology-based master piece I have ever heard. A fresh perspective that could open a new thinking on human evolvement and instinct laden behaviour.
Brilliant
I truly enjoyed the interview and gained excellent knowledge and awareness of myself and others. Moreover, it helps me to understand my work as a Personal Support Worker. Thank you all very much.
This makes perfect sense. Thank you
The level of suicide and drug overdose alone even in small communities like my own is alarming.
Also why the story of Jesus (archetype &/or actual) includes the giving of Mother Mary (archetype &/or actual) to Humanity as a Maternal source of Nurture❣️ Jeremy has articulated the biological dynamics of the seeming age old discord within ourselves in a way that is accessible to all…from both faith &/or secular backgrounds…I always knew a paradigm shift would come from the world of Philosophy (as it influencing human thinking, and thereby acting, enmass)…how wonderful that this philosophy about understanding humanity has come from understanding humanity, the whole of humanity’s journey in terms of body & ‘soul’, the effects of consciousness on our flesh and blood…or should I say nervous systems👌
Very interesting and full of common sense in my view
this is something i was waiting for; from the psychiatry research and studies...
Wonderful to hear, i have been waiting so long for this change in the world, for peace & love to take over, thats all we need, thank you .
To je super. Poslušajte in presodite sami .hvala [This is great. Listen and judge for yourself .Thank you (translated from Slovenian)].
Mooi! [pleasing to the mind! (translated from South African English)] Corrie.B Nederland
It all makes sense. How can you apply this to heal the distress in the world.
So, as with any new scientific breakthrough in history, it will take time to implement the change universally but once this information gets a foothold through enough people developing a deep appreciation and desire to support it all the distress in the world with subside and the world will heal—see FAQ 1.5.Even though THE Interview is only a summary presentation, Part 4 does explain that for the upset within us to be completely healed it will take generations but importantly we can be immediately free of its effects (also see FAQ 4.1). This is further explained on our Transformation page and also comprehensively answered in Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM chapter 9.If I may so humbly put it, the 4 part interview provides us with a wakeup call.
Very Interesting
You stay away from the word sin and call it instinct instead
This will never happen....80% will never do the right thing....those that just MUST be the bad seed knowingly or unknowingly Evil will NEVER help GOOD to win. ..... in short those that lack the brain power to understand the problem or goal wanted......will never help the ones that do..to save them.
It’s a huge breakthrough. Useful to a clearer understanding of Religion and the Biblical account of Adam and Eve’s vital role in the whole scheme of life’s purpose. Awesome! The Human Condition is a free choice having the ability to Know and be Wise in that knowing. 😳 Mind blowing! Dictatorial Instincts (Animal Nature) -vs- Intellectual Consciousness (Human Nature), human endowments which clearly points to man’s special gift to freely make decisions. Free Agents. Enlightening, thank you!
Daniel Schmachtenberger’s talk at Emergence provides a fascinating deeper perspective on the emergence of human consciousness as an innate property of the universe and adds to this conversation, roots that go back to atomic, molecular, cellular, attraction and synergy that makes this even more understandable for me
Key to the emergence of consciousness is ‘Integrative Meaning’ or the law of physics known as ‘negative entropy’ (see FAQ 5.3).
Thank you so much for this eye-opener interview!! Lots to think and meditate about! Appreciate! Petra Hattingh
Knowledge is power, understanding is wisdom. This is an educational video, that can save lives. Thank you for sharing, thank you for Being, You are Enough.
