I’ve never had my eyes open so much to such an extraordinary interview and progression of thought and am so impressed by the insight given by the Author Jeremy Griffith. I feel total faith and acceptance of this biological explanation of the human condition. Science has provided us with an answer but I still fear our salvation might be too late. Awesome work and totally credible, Its up to, once again each individual to make the difference here. Some corporate bodies and greedy sticky fingers will find this hard to accept and I fear slow the progress of change.
Thank you for opening my eyes.
WTM Admin
Hi Tony, thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback. We appreciate your concerns and want to reassure you that we are doing all we can to get this world-saving understanding to everyone on the planet because, as you have realised, only this redeeming and rehabilitating understanding can heal humanity’s psychological upset. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change very difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is also summarised in FAQ 1.5. We also strongly recommend reading FAQ 1.40 which specifically addresses your question of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”
So, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM, while “this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.” And we are well on our way as you can see from the excitement and relief in our daily ecstatic responses to THE Interview, and in the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work from thought leaders and WTM Centre founders all over the world, all of which you can read on our homepage.

As a church leader this interview with Jerremy Griffith has really helped me to understand and appreciate science . It has helped me to separate the chaff from wheat THE myth from the fact. I ran into religion and I hid there from the TRUTHFULNESS OF HUMAN CONDITION I was always guilty and a sinner only begging forgiveness from this mythological diety. But now this interview has changed my perspective of MYSELF .
WTM Admin
Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition brings biological understanding to religious accounts of our condition, which means we can at last reconcile science and religion. For instance, as THE Interview explains, the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! It establishes that we are good and not bad after all. What THE Interview presents fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough. You might be interested in our FAQs about religion, especially 6.2 ‘What is God’ and 6.3 ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’. Also there are Jeremy’s Freedom Essays 38 – 41 about the demysification of religion which are absolutely fascinating.

I really enjoyed the interview with Jeremy Griffith which I totally agree, but I felt uncomfortable with his comments on right and left wings which I assumed is based on his own experience in his reality and therefore in line with his dogmas and believes. In my reality here in Brazil, however, I have experienced a despicable treatment of the human condition by the Brazilian Right-Wing President. From the beginning of the presidential election race until now when the new president (Left-Wing) was elected in which his approach is based on loving, caring, cooperative and freedom of expression between our people in contrast to hate, segregation, racism, violence, distortion of information (fake news ) and brainwashing techniques used by the Right-Wing. In fact, if the search for knowledge is the key to allowing ourselves through science to advance in the process of healing the human condition, then here in Brazil education and science is also the flag of the Left-Wing. Anyway, I believe that we are all limited or conditioned by our culture, experience and knowledge which dictates our dogmas and believes and since we are all intertwined despite of origin, race, religion, country or any other people differences thus we all need to make our individual task to change our believes and dogmas to help healing the human condition.
Thanks to Jeremy Griffith for presenting a breakthrough to allow visualizing how to create heaven on earth.
WTM Admin
Hi André, Jeremy Griffith’s biological ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wing. His work certainly doesn’t excuse the right-wing for its corrupting behaviour, nor unfairly focus on the failing of the left, which is that its insistence on ideal behaviour had the effect of oppressing the search for knowledge, but rather brings a profound understanding to both sides which ultimately will bring an end to the whole ugly business of politics. This is fully explained in our FAQs about politics.

WTM Admin
Thank you for your feedback, James. As with any new scientific breakthrough in history it will take time to reach the bastions of power in the world but once this information gets a foothold through enough people, like yourself, learning about and then developing a deep appreciation and desire to support it, the selfless love and energy that will generate will get their attention. And the good news is interest and support is rapidly growing each day, as you can see in the ecstatic responses at the top of our homepage, and in the Commendations section. So we hope you do pursue your interest, James, by registering for our free, interactive presentations with Jeremy Griffith in which he shares further amazingly helpful insights into our human condition and its resolution. Did this has any effect on those 5% of humanity that owns the 90% of humanity’s wealth, power and properties, who are actuelly ruleing and deciding things and who are in high percent psychopats, and/or has even many other psychological mental states and issues?
WTM Admin
Thanks for your question kodacx. We suggest the more you digest this presentation, the more you realise that the human condition is behind all our actions and motivations, including our greed, indifference and need for power. The point is that our greed and the power it affords is a symptom of our insecure, human condition afflicted state. It follows that if you address that underlying insecurity, then our greed (along with all our other artificial sources of reinforcement) will be removed. And that is what this understanding does – it addresses and solves that core insecurity about our self-worth. In fact, this redeeming, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fortune and glory. You might be interested in FAQ 1.40, which addresses ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’

I have been embarrassed by observing how us human beings have managed to mess up life on earth.
It is a relief to listen to Jeremy and be excited to realise that there is an opportunity to clean up the mess and live a beautiful life...as it is suppose to be.
WTM Admin
Hi Blignault, it is wonderful that Jeremy Griffith’s understanding of the human condition is bringing you such relief and excitement. Finally being able to understand the source of the “messy” state of the world is fundamental to our and the planet’s rehabilitation. But the beauty of Jeremy’s compassionate understanding is that rather than looking back on the human journey as an “embarrassment”, the truth he reveals is that the human race has been unbelievably heroic in its quest to find understanding of our condition, which actually makes the relief even more complete! We don’t need to disown our past but actually celebrate the hope and determination that we, and every generation that came before us, demonstrated to find the reconciling understanding that would bring our species’ psychological freedom. We recommend reading FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’ and our Transformation page, which contains invaluable insight and personal affirmations about how we can all transform our lives with this understanding. We’d also especially recommend you register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith because these events provide inspirational and practical discussion about this immensely relieving knowledge.

Please put it in a simple way to the point, so everyone can understand.

WTM Admin
Essentially we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are humans so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. The clash between instinct and intellect is the source of all our insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation, and so explaining it makes all those defensive behaviours redundant. We suggest you read the very brief summary in FAQ 1.3. Also watching the video series that follows THE Interview is great as that series elaborates on what’s been presented — so there’ll be some repetition, but going over the concepts in more detail does help with the understanding and absorption of them. The Great Guilt is also recommended because it explains our historic fear of the subject of the human condition and the resulting ‘deaf effect’ that often initially causes. So it can take a little time and perseverance to get your head around it this explanation but it’s well worth it, as you have noted, everyone says how beautiful it is — people everywhere are so relieved to finally be able to make sense of human life!

Boggling Reality....jigsaw pieces put in place.
Nina Apostolova
Thank you for leading us to the light at the end of the tunnel! However macabre the human prospective looks, we still have a chance to save our souls by making amendments and simply copy nature. At the end of the day we all turn into soil, no matter how much material wealth we have acquired. What matters is how we feel and how we make the others feel while we are here. THANK YOU!
WTM Admin
Thanks Nina, but the solution to the human condition isn’t simply to emulate nature, and be kind to each other by either transcending, denying or civilising the reality of our species’ angry, egocentric and alienated state. It is to get to the bottom of the crux question of the human condition, which is WHY do we no longer love one another and our planet — why when the universal ideals are to be loving and selfless are we so competitive and selfish, and seek to acquire so much material wealth? It is this question that Jeremy Griffith confronts and answers through first principle biology because only through understanding the dark side of ourselves — why we departed from our all-loving instincts and became selfish — can we free ourselves from the human condition and legitimately love ourselves and each other again. This is the critical difference between Jeremy’s work and the new age movement, see FAQ 6.5.

Hi, there is a huge difference between bonobo and human society. The bonobo is a matriarchal society centred around nurturing children. Human society is patriarchal - and not only that - is a society centred around absent fathers or violent husbands. You say that we have lost our ability to nurture children - and while I agree with much of what you say - I think the major difference between bonobo and human society - ie matriarchal v patriarchal is the real reason that humans are in distress.
WTM Admin
Hi Toni, thanks for your comment. Yes there is a huge difference between the matriarchal bonobos and our patriarchal species, but what is explained in Parts 1 and 3 of THE Interview is that this difference is a result of the human condition. Our distant human ancestors were peaceful and matriarchal just like bonobos, however with the emergence of the conscious mind, and the subsequent emergence of the human condition, we not only became psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated, but the focus shifted from a nurturing based matriarchy society, to the need to find knowledge, which is why our species became patriarchal. As Jeremy Griffith explains in chapter 7:3 of his definitive book FREEDOM: “humanity’s matriarchal structure came to an end when our ignorant, ideal-behaviour-demanding instinctive self began to criticise our conscious mind’s search for knowledge and men, in their role as group protectors, had to take up the battle of resisting that naive, idealistic criticism from our instinctive self that was threatening to stop the maturation of humanity from ignorance to enlightenment. At this point, the patriarchal society that has existed for the last 2 million years came into being.”
Most importantly, at the heart of this explanation is the revelation that all our astonishingly selfish and brutal behaviour, especially on the part of men, has been an unavoidable consequence of humans’ necessary search for self-knowledge. Now we have understanding of our human-condition-psychosis which is shared by all humans, women are finally able to reason and see that what men have been doing on this planet has been actually the most meaningful and heroic job of all. This insight finally allows a real reconciliation between men and women. As molecular biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald says in her commendation of Jeremy’s work: “because Griffith’s work establishes the equal worth or goodness of all humans we can now understand the different roles that men and women have traditionally played in the human journey and this is actually the unlocking point, this is what brings about deep empathy for each other, it heals the divide.” You can watch/read this Video/Freedom Essay 9 titled This is the real liberation of women here.

The actual answer to the “good vs. evil” question; we are good.
WTM Admin
Yes, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents here. And with our dark side truthfully explained and defended we can finally love ourselves and each other, and bring about a rehabilitated world, free of suffering.

Possibly the loss of our tribal instinct has led to the situation we live in today. Familys are no longer behaving, say one hundred years ago. Isolation and fear has created the situation you are describing and also created greed and a want in humans which only can get worse unless we get back to tribal instinct
WTM Admin
The central tenet of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is that humans have a cooperative, loving instinctive heritage, not a brutish, savage and aggressive one, and that the source of our aggression is a psychosis that has been compounding ever since the instinct and intellect clashed some 2 million years ago. It follows then that the further back in history we go, the less psychologically upset a race of people will be, and so the more cooperative, loving and in touch with the natural world they will be – and we can see evidence of this in existing ‘tribal’ people, such as in indigenous cultures, as you have identified (however, it needs to pointed out that even so-called ‘primitive’ races are still members of the extremely upset stage of humanity, H. sapiens sapiens, so they are still psychologically upset angry egocentric and alienated).
However, to ultimately return to a loving, cooperative state, we needed to find the scientific explanation for why we left that cooperative state. Why, when the ideals are to be loving and cooperative, we are so selfish, competitive and destructive? Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his definitive book, FREEDOM.
Mark Raddon
Was it sudden or over time that we became conscious?
WTM Admin
Thanks for your question Mark and our consciousness developed over time. One of the great outstanding mysteries of science is ‘what is consciousness, and how did it emerge?’ In Part 3 of this summary presentation Jeremy Griffith mentions how we humans became fully conscious when other species haven’t and refers the viewer to his book FREEDOMchapter 7 where he answers this question—a summary of which is provided in FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’

Wow! What hopeful research! ‘Conquered by their love,’ referring to the Bonobo’s way of living, gives key insights into how to develop ourselves going forward.
I will listen again and make notes on the links mentioned, eg Transformational World website ? I think it was called.
It makes perfect sense. I think we all feel it, intrinsically, that we just are loving first and defensive second. Not the other way round.
We do feel good more readily than bad. It always confused me that we were called and assumed bad by religion and science too.
WTM Admin
That’s wonderful to read Tammy! Yes, the evidence reveals that on the basis of physiology, bipedality, environment, intelligence and reduced canine size, that the cooperative and gentle bonobo represents a far better model of our human ancestors than the chimpanzee (the evidence is presented in detail in chapter 5 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM). However, as THE Interview explains, why we are so different from bonobos – not yet being fully conscious, bonobos have not suffered the same upsetting clash between instinct and intellect, and so still behave in accord with their loving, cooperative instincts. The way forward for humans isn’t to look to the bonobos but rather, now our fundamental goodness is biologically established we can reconcile our instinct and intellect. Understanding now relieves and replaces the need to be defensive and insecure and we can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. This is the rapidly transforming effect of this breakthrough, see FAQ 1.5 about how our lives are transformed. The World Transformation Movement website is HumanCondition.com and our homepage will guide you through the steps to pursue your interest. Happy exploring Tammy!

I would like to buy a copy of your book (Freedom) I feel you have assumed a lot of issues but I wish you all the best. Kind regards. John MaCaughtry DAPAANS
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts and good wishes John. Both author John Bradshaw and psychologist Carl Rogers recognised the importance of nurturing in our childhood which Jeremy Griffith certainly does too, but Jeremy also answers not just the outstanding question of WHY it is important, but most critically, why our ability to nurture has become so compromised. He does this by explaining the biology of our human condition – see FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’. And most wonderfully, the redeeming explanation of the human condition allows us to return to a loving nurturing state. As psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen, a former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, has said: “I have no doubt this biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.” Also, see FAQ 1.20 which outlines ‘What scientific evidence is there for this explanation’ and the outstanding commendations Jeremy’s work has received from extremely eminent scientists and thinkers can be seen here on our homepage. These commendations include praise from religious thought leaders. For example Prof Charles Birch, who was awarded the Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion, wrote “Jeremy Griffith makes the right emphasis when he identifies the order of the universe and its cosmic and biological evolution as the issue that brings science and religion together” (see our FAQs about how this reconciles science and religion, in particular FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion). The WTM is a global not-for-profit organisation and make all our books and publications freely available on our website. You can access Jeremy’s key books, including FREEDOM, here on our homepage.

Our FAQ 1.5 summarises this and the Transformation section of our website illustrates the extraordinary transformation of the human race that is possible including personal affirmations that demonstrate how this has transformed people’s lives and that of their families. Basically, so exciting and relieving is this breakthrough, and the freedom from the human condition that is now on offer, that everyone will want it, and so it will catch on like wildfire and this is well underway! Deborah Patricia Broome
Thank you Sir Jeremy for this eye opening and excellent interview on the video.Though am a believer in God and hide ETERNAL Word I still feel weird of all the negatives still roaming around inside me...But I really Believed that as I start reading your Excellent Book “FREEDOM” I will never be the same again. The whole World needs to listen to this interview 🙏
WTM Admin
That’s wonderful to hear Deborah, thank you, and we’d like to reassure you Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, or the Bible’s content. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact, Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life (see FAQ 6.2). Our additional FAQs about religion may also be of interest, especially FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’. So our lives are never the same again because at last, as Part Two explains, this ‘lifts the burden of guilt from humanity’ as we have the full compassionate truth about our ‘fallen’ state that has caused “all the negatives roaming around inside” us.
Amber Garcia-Gomez
Immensely informative. I am very thankful to have ability to release my conscious of doubt and regret regarding past traits.

This is what mystics has been saying since eternity , thanks for explaining it biologically and demystifying it. its really a good effort for people like me who studies just science and dont have enough time for mystical traditions to follow. I still think theres more to spirituality than just liberating one from psychosis and i think you will also contribute biological explanation in this sphere too
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Arzi. Yes, finally Jeremy Griffith’s work reconciles science and religion which demystifies abstract interpretations of the human condition. In terms of spirituality THE Interview explains all humans are born with an all-loving and compassionate soul or instinctive self, from which our spirituality is sourced, but we now suffer from a universal psychosis caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. We became alienated from our original soulful state because of our conscious mind’s necessary, and indeed heroic, search for knowledge. So we suggest, with further digestion, you will discover that liberating us from our psychosis does explain our spirituality. Also, our FAQ 6.7 discusses whether a scientific explanation can ever encompass the so-called ‘spiritual’ element of life, which we hope you find most helpful.
Derrick
Impressive how you explain the human condition and the end to self-inflicted judgement, denial, imprisonment to our very conscious mind and the endless pursuit of materialism only to lose forfeit all in death. If we humans could be more loving and more accepting of ourselves and others, it gives more meaning to life than the strife for material possession, war, aggression and everything human as we know it!
WTM Admin
As THE Interview explains, our greed and desire for materialism, are symptoms of our insecure human condition, so ultimately, to stop that “endless pursuit” we have to end that underlying insecurity, get to the core of the problem and fix that which is what Jeremy Griffith has done! And yes Derrick, this frees us from our “self-inflicted judgement, denial, imprisonment to our very conscious mind” and legitimately allows humans to “love and accept ourselves and others”. Our FAQ 1.6 ‘Why understanding solves everything’ wonderfully explains how this works.
Jose Messias De Castro

This interview is no different than any other that declares a different way to God and salvation.
It is very wrong and flies in the face of Jesus, who gave his life to bring us into relationship with God the Father.
No matter how Ernest and right sounding the human reasoning of this false message sounds, it is declaring the Word of God as a lie.
No one can stand and win with this false doctrine.
I know this message will not be allowed to remain as they have no rebuttal to the truth.
WTM Admin
We certainly respect people’s religious views John and it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. We would like to refer readers to our response to Deborah Patricia Broome’s comment above.

Ronnel Cuachin
Just being curious on what can be the possible impact of this interview, what to learn, for trying to become a model to my students
WTM Admin
Thanks for your question, Ronnel. It does take a little time to fully absorb the significance of finally being able to explain the human condition, but as mentioned to Gwendolyn below, what this means is we now have the ability to truly appreciate every aspect of human behaviour; we can at last understand that we have all been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. And we say ‘legitimately’ because at last we have the first principle-based science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. You can see the transforming practical impact of being able to understand the human condition in the examples on our Transformation page of people and families who have had their lives completely changed by this liberating understanding. Also FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 explain the far-reaching application of this information and Freedom Essay 15 is all about ‘How our lives can be immediately transformed’. We recommend you join our Facebook Group and register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith as there is so much helpful discussion taking place there about how this immensely redeeming and relieving knowledge transforms our lives!

Seems to leave out the possibility that Homo Sapiens (so self-called) prevailed over other Homo species, now distinctly extinct, by being more aggressive and ruthless. Also appears to neglect that other higher animals are conscious as we are, though not given to narrative analysis of their instinctual feelings, and this could extend to all animals with nervous systems. Risks putting too much weight on a lost ‘golden age’. Having said that, more power to his championing of rational and biological explanations for the betterment of humanity.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your queries, Nicholas. No, Jeremy explains that Homo Sapiens displaced other species through being more psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated. In Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains how consciousness developed some 2 million years ago as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process and refers the viewer to Chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM for a comprehensive explanation. Since then there has been only one major development going on and that was the psychological one. As more upset examples of Homo emerged they inevitably displaced more innocent, older versions, just as in our own time more ‘primitive’ races have been displaced by the more upset. You might be interested in paragraph 907 of chapter 8:15 of FREEDOM, which discusses “ this progression in upset, with the more innocent Neanderthals, Denisovans, Flores man and Red Deer Cave people being replaced around this time by more upset modern humans.”
With regard to the suggestion that other animals are variously conscious, the argument misunderstands what is really meant by consciousness. As Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview (and again, see Chapter 7 of FREEDOM for a comprehensive explanation), consciousness simply means being sufficiently aware of how experiences are related to attempt to manage change from a basis of understanding. Clearly while other animals have various levels of ‘awareness’, none can consciously manage events like humans can, and so it is accurate to describe humans as the only animals possessing fully conscious minds.
Finally, as THE Interview explains, to avoid the terrifying issue of the corrupted state of the human condition, human-condition-avoiding, resigned humans necessarily had to find some way of denying that our species did once live in a cooperative and loving state because then there would be no original innocent state to have become corrupted and therefore no guilt or shame. One way of doing this was to dismiss any suggestion or mention of our species having once lived in a cooperative and loving Edenic Golden Age as nothing more than an expression of nostalgia for the warmth, comfort and security of infancy or even the womb, which is the so-called paradise-as-infancy theory; see, for example, paragraph 184 of FREEDOM. So the focus on excavating the truth about our species’ loving and cooperative past is intentional, because only by understanding where we came from can we understand the impact of the human condition, and the incredible guilt and insecurity it produced in us for corrupting that magnificent state.
We hope this response and the links provided offer some clarity on the issues you raised and that you continue to pursue your interest, Nicholas.

This work is helping me understand the thoughts that are haunting my sub-conscience since childhood. The path is very long still, but at least there is a solid starting point.

With regard to how we move forward with this discovery: at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness, so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 are helpful and our Transformation page contains invaluable insight and personal affirmations. We’d especially recommend you join our Facebook Group and register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith because there is much helpful and practical discussion taking place about this immensely relieving knowledge.

I don’t see how knowing this and understanding that we are basically good stops atrocities all over the world. Can you explain? Are they a result of not being nurtured?
WTM Admin
Fair question Mark, but we suggest that the more you digest Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation, the more you will realise how accountable it is in getting to the source of all humanity’s psychological upset, which in the extreme, produces people who are capable of atrocities. And while this breakthrough explanation doesn’t condone or sanction that type of behaviour, through bringing compassionate understanding to the source of humans’ psychologically upset state, it does give us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate it, see FAQ 1.38 ‘Aren’t some people just born psychopathic, or even ‘evil’? / How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour? / Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour?’. As the late Professor Harry Prosen, psychiatrist and former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, said: ‘I have no doubt Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.’

Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents.

Thank you Craig and Jeremy for this enlightening interview. When I began my counselling courses we began with the, in my mind, wonderful Carl Roger’s work. I felt that I had come home. His view that people were not bad or evil and were really good and decent people and by listening to them they did really want to become ....not fixed by someone else, but they could really help themselves. It appears that the makers of the course felt we would do least harm towards clients by using his methods again felt like an insult. But I found his method of working so powerful for my clients and myself. I felt he had gotten it all so right. Thank you so much Jeremy because I have just come home for a second time. This is my first time in hearing about your work and I assure you that it will not be the last. Many thanks again, Sharon.
WTM Admin
Yes, in explaining the good reason why the human race became psychologically upset, Jeremy Griffith establishes the fundamental worth of each and every human. And having this breakthrough understanding of our fundamental goodness is the most powerful therapy tool; as Professor Harry Prosen wrote about Jeremy’s work, “What Griffith is presenting is understanding of the source insecurity that the whole human race suffers from for having destroyed our species’ innocent soul. It is a universal self-blame that his understanding at last provides healing insight into. All human behavior is saturated with that universal insecure, depressing state and resulting anger, egocentricity and alienation that has developed from it, but we finally have the compassionate foundation insight needed to dismantle all that ‘upset’/psychosis. So the real psychotherapy of our collective and individual psychoses can begin.” (You can read more from Professor Prosen in FAQ 1.34.)
Ron Jones
Is there a verbal source available?
WTM Admin
Yes Ron, THE Interview, our Introductory Video Series and a number of Jeremy Griffith’s key books are freely available to listen to here on our homepage; at this stage just the first 3 chapters of FREEDOM have been narrated, but chapters 4 and 5 are not too far off! All our videos also have an audio file you can freely download, and our many podcasts are available both on our World Transformation Movement App (go to App Store or Google Play) and Spotify.
Cesara Speaks
It’s very important what you say about the left and superficial forced care. People lie all the time about everything. They become hostile if you try to point the way to Truth. How do people cross the divide
WTM Admin
Hi Cesara, yes, as Jeremy’s explains in Part 4 of THE Interview, “These [left-wing] movements were pseudo idealistic movements that stifled and oppressed the search for the understanding of our corrupted condition that was needed to actually free us from that state. They were regressive, not progressive as they deluded themselves they were. It was actually the right-wing who have supported the upsetting battle to find knowledge that held the moral highground, not the pseudo idealistic left-wing…The culture of the Left made people superficially feel good but it was dangerously dishonest, it was fake”.
But the wider truth (as you suggest), is that virtually all people have had to live in denial of the human condition, and so we all lie all the time. The answer to your question of “how people cross the divide”, is that we can now understand that being psychologically ‘upset’ is not a ‘bad’ condition, but a heroic one. This redeeming understanding brings compassion to all facets of human life and allows us to reconcile all the polarities of our existence. Left and right wing, young and old, black and white, men and women, are all reconciled by this understanding.

Greaves Maxwell
Does this mean the end to war & poverty….
WTM Admin
Yes, Maxwell, because the knowledge we needed in order to be truly caring, loving and empowered to bring an end to all wars, barbarism and greed and inequality that pervade this world is this understanding of the human condition. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. As Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, recognised, “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from, which is non-personal and thus more easily confronted, absorbed and accepted. It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”
And, as THE Interview also explains, this will solve problems very quickly because instead of us being preoccupied with proving ourselves artificially (through seeking power, fame, fortune and glory) all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world. So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans free of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race (see our FAQs on the Transformed state).
Michelle
It all sounds very complicated. Maybe u could explain it to be as if it is explained to dummies. I’m not that intelligent or book smart to get what you mean.
WTM Admin
Hi Michelle. The human condition manifests in different ways in all as a result of our own experiences and exposure to the world, but the clash between instinct and intellect is the source of all our insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation, and so explaining it makes all those defensive behaviours redundant. We suggest you read the very brief summary in FAQ 1.3 and then re-watch THE Interview. Also watching the video series that follows THE Interview is great as that series elaborates on what’s been presented — so there’ll be some repetition, but going over the concepts in more detail does help with the understanding and absorption of them. FAQ 1.16 is also recommended because it explains our historic fear of the subject of the human condition and the resulting ‘deaf effect’ that often initially causes. So it can take a little time and perseverance to get your head around it this explanation but it’s well worth it as you can see from the daily ecstatic responses on our homepage — people everywhere are so relieved to finally be able to make sense of human life!

WTM Admin
What a deeply moving comment, Alvaro, and we want to sincerely thank you for your service to, and sacrifice for, humanity. The human condition has certainly been such a deeply tragic journey full of so much unthinkable pain and suffering, and to now be able to understand it all and place it in this true and honest denial-free framework of knowledge, and know how truly heroic and meaningful all human effort has been, certainly does bring light to the darkness, so we are very thankful you have found this understanding. It’s like we’ve been stumbling around in the dark and suddenly someone turns the lights on which is relieving and exciting, but is also necessarily extremely exposing of our immense upset and denial, so we need time to adjust. What is so important to remember in this process, as Jeremy Griffith stresses in THE Interview, is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can know our psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. So we can now look after ourselves with great compassion and kindness and significantly we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us (as FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’ summarises).

Absolutely fantastic, I am feeling so enlightening ❤️
The truth will set us free. Keep up the good work.
Brilliant
Great revelation and discourses
That is just mind calming. This interview really is interesting and healing this broken human race.
It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”So, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM, while “this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.” And we are well on our way as you can see from the excitement and relief in our daily ecstatic responses to THE Interview, and in the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work from thought leaders and WTM Centre founders all over the world, all of which you can read on our homepage.Very revealing
Informative and realistic views & ideas. Great.
I watched the interview. I’m very inspired. May you please send me all the material I also need to read and watch videos. I wish the whole world could know about the WTM, especially our leaders. Thanks Jeremy for the information, I am impressed.

Jeremy Griffiths discovery is the most important and greatest discovery of western or the modern world ever. Viva Jeremy
A new paradigm for social relationships, for harmony and peaceful co-existence. Let all power wielders and holders of the world not play as spectators only, but accept and get involved for human rehabilitation and survival.
Clearly said and explained, making this more accessible to more people, especially the new generation which will be very helpful to the cause that the movement is trying to address...
This is very insightful. The human mind is the most powerful thing ever. We are because we think.
Finally - the sunny uplands are here
I have watched the interview and was impressed but I am not optimistic. I simply don’t think Governments will pay attention. Pity but it’s a start and thank you for that.
Our Facebook Group is also a great forum to learn more and discuss with others about how we can live with this critical new science.
I find it absolutely fascinating.. there is so much clarity in his thoughts, I am sure it will have a very positive impact on my way of thinking about interaction with fellow human beings.

Jeremy Griffith you’re a Genius, you just answer all my questions, that I always worry about my children and their generations to come. You just fix that Puzzles together for me, Thank you ❤️
This is the best thing that has been shared with mankind. Luv n Lite
Did this has any effect on those 5% of humanity that owns the 90% of humanity’s wealth, power and properties, who are actuelly ruleing and deciding things and who are in high percent psychopats, and/or has even many other psychological mental states and issues?
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I find it very interesting. It’s very kind and generous of you.

This is an amazing & practically simple explanation for me (& hopefully everyone else) of how, why the human race has become so conciously stuffed up & destructive but also gives me the understanding that I needed that we are inheritantly good in essence & with understanding & time we can get back to convious utopia !!! What a relief, my mind is bursting with positivity & understanding x
I’m glad that someone is working on human consciousness or conditions. Keep it up, hopefully people will pay attention.
Enlightening edifying and brilliant this is the remedy that cures our insanity and saves the world. What a profound revelation!
What a breath of sunshine
Very interested
I have been embarrassed by observing how us human beings have managed to mess up life on earth. It is a relief to listen to Jeremy and be excited to realise that there is an opportunity to clean up the mess and live a beautiful life...as it is suppose to be.
It’s a very interesting theme. I didn’t think previously about the point of view that Jeremy explains brilliantly. Thanks for this opportunity.
Please put it in a simple way to the point, so everyone can understand. I don’t have the book. Too much talking, and everyone says how beautiful it is.
THANK YOU!
So interesting
Thought provoking indeed.
At this point, the patriarchal society that has existed for the last 2 million years came into being.”Most importantly, at the heart of this explanation is the revelation that all our astonishingly selfish and brutal behaviour, especially on the part of men, has been an unavoidable consequence of humans’ necessary search for self-knowledge.
I will write it in english because it is imortant that you hear this, It made me ,
“breathe Again..”
Isn’t that the paradox! Simplicity soothes the complex. Thank you
Possibly the loss of our tribal instinct has led to the situation we live in today. Familys are no longer behaving, say one hundred years ago. Isolation and fear has created the situation you are describing and also created greed and a want in humans which only can get worse unless we get back to tribal instinct
Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his definitive book, FREEDOM.Was it sudden or over time that we became conscious?
Thanks for your question Mark and our consciousness developed over time. One of the great outstanding mysteries of science is ‘what is consciousness, and how did it emerge?’ In Part 3 of this summary presentation Jeremy Griffith mentions how we humans became fully conscious when other species haven’t and refers the viewer to his book FREEDOM chapter 7 where he answers this question—a summary of which is provided in FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’
I feel very encouraged by this commentary. Thank you !
Very simple, absolutely clear. It makes me think there is hope for humanity and Earth. It all depends on us, we need to wake up.
Great !
Very insightful and fascinating work with clearer perspective. 🙏🏻
Superb Declarative, Procedural and Strategic knowledge about humans' mental transformation condition over the years
Sir, your Explanation about us being Humans & its purpose is incredible. The Biological Explanation on the Restraint between Instict & Concious Mind exactly explains the answer we can’t answer the “Why”.... Thanks a lot for your extraordinary Gift to Human Race 🙏🙏
This is the need of the hour.
Powerful and life changing discovery
Finally the knowledge needed to educate future generations & stop this self destruction of Earth and it’s inhabitants.
I have listened to your presentation but as a counsellor I see what you are saying is not to different to some theorists i.e John Bradshaw and Carl Rogers. you are saying nothing that I feel I have seen or read, where is you proof... and discovered what you have others talking about. finally you have not bought into you discussion beliefs of Christianity, I can guarantee your theory will clash with the Church. I would like to buy a copy of your book (Freedom) I feel you have assumed a lot of issues but I wish you all the best. Kind regards. John MaCaughtry DAPAANS
Sorry I did not listen to the END!
We can not heal our self
Listen to what the program says
Satisfactory
It’s a breakthrough of a paradigm
Easier said then. But it’s a start. Something I will give deep thinking too.
It is great you will give this some further consideration Dickmc7. We suggest re-watching THE Interview, especially Part 4 which explains, yes it will take generations for the upset within us to be completely healed but importantly we can be immediately free of its affects. You can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for the WTM on our homepage with ecstatic response to this interview from all around the world and outstanding commendations from thought leaders and all our global WTM Centres!
I still think theres more to spirituality than just liberating one from psychosis and i think you will also contribute biological explanation in this sphere too
Thank you for your thoughts Arzi.
Very interesting approach. It explains many things about the human behavior, all our psycological problems and conflicts. I hope we all can understand it all and find a way to become better and mentally healthy.
💙🙏💙 thank you Jeremy, excellent interview, thank you Craig for facilitating & sharing with us. Much respect Patricia Moloney eIRE 💙🙏💙✨💋
Really interested
That was a very re-assuring read after living through a very turbulent period. It could well alleviate a lot of the stress that people exhibit now
seem very interesting. Thank YOU!
Excellent presentation with new insights on human condition what we are searching years together. It will open new vista in understanding our self realization and answers to the questions we as human being searching for.
This is great. Thank you Jeremy I call this the mother of all knowledge. Because all others will be destroyed without it.
This interview opened my eyes. Thankyou for putting this out there. From UK.
Have never heard such common sense before. Pray that people listen and pass on
The good author spent his life to share with us something great and helpful. Must hear this interview. Thanks 3x!!!
Just being curious on what can be the possible impact of this interview, what to learn, for trying to become a model to my students
You might be interested in paragraph 907 of chapter 8:15 of FREEDOM, which discusses “ this progression in upset, with the more innocent Neanderthals, Denisovans, Flores man and Red Deer Cave people being replaced around this time by more upset modern humans.”With regard to the suggestion that other animals are variously conscious, the argument misunderstands what is really meant by consciousness.
I am interested in reading what the transformation will do for me!!
Wow. Just wow. Really changed my perspective on the world.
Very good information
Such informative and mind blowing information. This is my first time on the page and i am very interested to follow it. I am also interested to aquire the book.
Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM (along with his other key books, including THE Interview) is freely available to download or read online HERE on our homepage. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. (Otherwise you can purchase hard copies from Amazon or other good bookstores.)
The angry world can be considered a mainstream personality trait and a sad indictment of society to the detriment of all other inhabitants of the earth
I was not only fascinated but totally intrigued by your findings. Watched your interview and am looking forward to reading your book.
This seems very plausible. (I am bad at compliments.) I might find time to translate texts to Czech.
Thank you, František, for your offer and please email us at [email protected] so we can discuss how you can help!
Is there an Arabic translation, with grateful thanks
Hi Ahmed, we do not currently have any of our publications available in Arabic, however as mentioned in our response to Mohammed below, you can watch THE Interview, and all the videos on our website, using the closed captions or subtitles function in your language by clicking on the ‘cc’ icon at the bottom of the video player/window.
Is there a verbal source available?
Yes Ron, THE Interview, our Introductory Video Series and a number of Jeremy Griffith’s key books are freely available to listen to here on our homepage; at this stage just the first 3 chapters of FREEDOM have been narrated, but chapters 4 and 5 are not too far off! All our videos also have an audio file you can freely download, and our many podcasts are available both on our World Transformation Movement App (go to App Store or Google Play) and Spotify.
It’s very important what you say about the left and superficial forced care. People lie all the time about everything. They become hostile if you try to point the way to Truth. How do people cross the divide
It was actually the right-wing who have supported the upsetting battle to find knowledge that held the moral highground, not the pseudo idealistic left-wing…The culture of the Left made people superficially feel good but it was dangerously dishonest, it was fake”.But the wider truth (as you suggest), is that virtually all people have had to live in denial of the human condition, and so we all lie all the time. The answer to your question of “how people cross the divide”, is that we can now understand that being psychologically ‘upset’ is not a ‘bad’ condition, but a heroic one. This redeeming understanding brings compassion to all facets of human life and allows us to reconcile all the polarities of our existence. Left and right wing, young and old, black and white, men and women, are all reconciled by this understanding.I believe this. I relate to this. I haven’t watched all but will definitely be tuning back in. This needs to be heard by so many people.
Unbelievably enlightening everything makes sense
Enlightening, love awakened human consciousness. It is in our music, poetry n art. Great interview, I just returned from a month in France and I saw its history reflected in this commentary 🙏💜
Fascinating explanation
I’m deeply amazed by this interview it has changed the way I understand my life 🙏 and I would love to have this book in KENYA 🇰🇪
The subtitle is somewhat fast for non English speaking nations....
Hi Mohammed, you can watch THE Interview, and all the videos on our website, using the closed captions or subtitles function in any language (just click on the ‘cc’ icon at the bottom of the video player/window). You can register for these totally free events on our homepage here. At our most recent live event Jeremy presented an absolutely astonishingly revealing and important presentation titled The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect which we recommend after watching THE Interview. Also our Facebook Group provides a wonderful platform for participating in, or just observing, interesting and exciting discussion with others about how we can live with this critical new science.
Does this mean the end to war & poverty….
It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”And, as THE Interview also explains, this will solve problems very quickly because instead of us being preoccupied with proving ourselves artificially (through seeking power, fame, fortune and glory) all our energies will be freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world. So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans free of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race (see our FAQs on the Transformed state). It all sounds very complicated. Maybe u could explain it to be as if it is explained to dummies. I’m not that intelligent or book smart to get what you mean.
Hi Michelle.
I believe and have seen too much not to believe
I am a military retired United States Marine medic who succumb to the painful PTSD mental health condition. I needed this explanation of my own suffering and gave me light to understand my human condition. Thanks, Alvaro Medellin-Colombia
