Finally someone is starting to make sense here...But let’s take it a little further, How did we become CONSCIOUS (HOW DID WE ALL OF A SUDDEN ACQUIRE INTELLECT? Through Evolution or Intervention? Let’s for one minute THINK ABOUT THAT! Humanity is simply an Experiment and until we start telling the TRUTH (which is supported by vast amount of evidence all around us, just open your eyes) we shall never escape this corrupt “human condition” LIFE ON EARTH as we ALL know it has been SEEDED.

WTM Admin

In Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith directs the audience to chapter 7 of his book FREEDOM for how we humans became fully conscious (summarised in FAQ 5.4). This process is biological and is not a product of intervention. Jeremy also explains in FREEDOM, chapter 4, the Negative-Entropy-driven integrative meaning of existence with chapter 4:3 explaining the Intelligent Design interventionist argument. It is this integration or development of order of matter on Earth that is the biological process that drives our development (summarised in FAQ 5.3). Jeremy explains in his books that indeed the word ‘development’ will come to replace the word ‘evolution’ in biology because evolution can be, and has been, misrepresented as meaning change is undirected, meaningless and random.

Anna-Karin Blomkvist

I agree and thank you for this! Love!🌺🌺🌺🌺

Sam Edwards

You almost sold it to me until I got to part 4 of the interview, when the author started criticising leftwing politics and praising their rightwing counterparts: that makes his stance political! Surprising, given how damaging and self-interested politicians actually are. At that point you lost me, I switched it off. Very disappointed.

WTM Admin

We appreciate your feedback Sam. Jeremy Griffith’s work isn’t political but rather it is a biological treatise about the human condition, however it is one that opens up a new way of thinking so it takes a little time to fully absorb. For example, when we understand that the search for knowledge, namely the search for understanding of our ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition, has been all-important, we can see that, paradoxically, it is the left, not the right, that poses the real threat to humanity because the left’s dogmatically imposed idealism inhibits freedom of thought and that search for understanding. Jeremy is not unfairly focusing on the failings of the left wing (indeed, in his book FREEDOM he acknowledges the importance of compassion in holding a society together) but rather explains from first principles the serious threat posed by pseudo idealism to humanity’s ultimate goal of finding understanding. We suggest you visit our FAQs about politics and Freedom Essay 35 ‘Death by Dogma: The biological reason why the Left is leading us to extinction, and the solution’.

Cherine

I kinda understand , it somewhat makes sense.. your understanding is talented..with great conclusions..

WTM Admin

As THE Interview explains, the human condition is the most fearful of subjects because it’s the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad and our fear of this interface can make it hard to understand all that is explained in one viewing. We recommend Video/Freedom Essay 1 titled ‘Your block to the most wonderful of all gifts’ as it explains this initial ‘deaf effect’ and then if you re-watch THE Interview the explanation will be far more accessible.

Maria

How great it is when sience confirms what you already felt and knew. Humanity needs this new paradigma.

so prince Charles also knows about this? he was smitten with vander Post, right?

WTM Admin

Yes Sir Laurens van der Post was a close friend of HRH Prince Charles and godfather to his eldest son Prince William. We are aware that people have sent Prince Charles copies of Jeremy Griffith’s books. JANINE COETZER

Need to listen over and over again, mind blowing.

Erik Brown

I am a mathematical biologist and complexity theorist. I and others like Dr. Sapolski from Stanford disagree totally. Please try to appreciate “Networks”!!

WTM Admin

Thank you Erik. Jeremy Griffith’s work is certainly at odds with the almost universally held belief that human aggression and stress are a result of our biology. Confronting the human condition front on and explaining that humans are a psychologically upset species does take time to absorb, but I suggest that the more you do so, the more you will realise that Griffith’s explanation has at last got to the bottom of the human condition.

Kathleen Owens

This has been so inspirational, a wake up call which needs to be shared!

I have completely enjoyed this interview. Makes total sense to me. Thank you.

Could this understanding of ourselves be the survival of our species?

WTM Admin

As Professor Prosen and many other thought leaders have recognised yes this understanding is paramount to the survival of our species. All the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by us humans. We are the ones who are egocentric, selfish, greedy, materialistic, fake, angry as hell. And so it’s that underlying issue — our destructively behaved, so-called human condition — that really has to be addressed and fixed if our species is to survive. Only the psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real explanation of the human condition can stop the destruction of our world and the disintegration of society that is happening everywhere we look. And it is precisely this real psychologically redeeming, relieving and transforming explanation that biologist Jeremy Griffith has delivered in this instinct vs intellect understanding of the human condition. See FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solves everything’. You can also see the outstanding commendations Jeremy’s work has received from scientists and thought leaders from around the world here on our homepage.

Dylan S

The holy grail of understanding has finally been found. Humanity has broken on through to the other side, as Jim Morrison sang. In the beginning I thought that it was too outrageous what he was saying. That this is the only way that humanity can heal, and the comment ‘the book that saves the world’. I thought this outlandish but since looking into this stuff intensely for the past few months, since i discovered it and buying two copies so i could highlight and write in one and keep the other tidy and clean, it does hold up. It is so totally accountable. This is the most momentous occasion that humans have ever seen. This is it! This is bloody it!!

I have been an atheist for about the last fifteen years. Since negative entropy was explained to me and made sence to me, and since it can be called ‘god’, then i know that, ‘god’, is real. I can also see why i have remained so interested in the topic. I have love for both sides of the argument now. Both have been right and both have been wrong. That is why the debates were so interesting. Religion kept us from destroying ourselves and science kept up the fight to find true understanding of ourselves. It is now our responsibility to spread this incredible news to humanity before terminal alienation takes hold. There is a real danger there and even though the left have great intensions to be loving and peaceful, it still needs to realize that people can’t just get there magically. They have to jump the hurdles in a hurdles race, not just pretend that the hurdles are not there and smash into them and then pretend its not happening, only to smash into the next, then the next etc... The right have actually been, subconciously, trying to find understanding of the human condition. Wow!!

WTM Admin

Yes, WOW!! It is just so exciting when you realise that this really does explain everything! For those who are interested, you can read about God and negative entropy in FAQ 6.2 and the role of religion in FAQ 6.3, and you can read about left and right wing of politics in FAQ 7.1.

Salvador

Very interesting, I like it,

Mary Madill

So much Debate about this bs. I Appreciate the Truth😁

Michelle Jelliman

Fascinating concept - thank you.

Lori Ierace

You forgot to mention that bonobos can become quite violent.

WTM Admin

Jeremy Griffith explains the key biological distinction between humans and other animal species is that humans suffer from the conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled human condition, not the genetic-opportunism-based, animal condition. While there are remnants of selfish reciprocity, sexual opportunism and aggression in bonobo behaviour as THE Interview evidences they are extraordinarily matriarchal, or female role focused, and extraordinarily nurturing, and far less aggressive than common chimpanzees. Without the defence of our own aggressive behaviour we have not been able to admit how cooperative bonobos actually are. See FAQ 5.2 ‘What do bonobos tell us about our own evolutionary heritage?’

I am going to have to listen to this a number of times, and take time to digest it before I can make a comment.

Thanks I need to read a book like Yours Freedom in these times where the few try to control the masses

Lori Moore

You said it .. it’s obvious!! Life; humanity; human conditions etc: all of this is exactly like the Bible says .. I learned all this before I was 5! These are not a new concepts I understood this once I learned to read because I learned to read the Bible - the Bible is where you will find out all about the human condition and what it means AND how to solve ANY human condition or any human state of mind ... now this is considered “science” because SCIENCE PROVES GOD EXISTS! If you think that’s not true then start to look at quantum physics

Latisha Faasu

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of wisdom. How can I purchase this gold of profound treasure please.

Hiranyashabda Sun

Two men talking to each other about men. I have never felt most of those negative feelings, but then I’m female.

WTM Admin

THE Interview is about both men and women. It explains the universal psychosis all humans suffer from caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect which significantly can be healed through understanding. What is astonishing is that despite our psychologially upset condition this biological treatise estabishes all humans are equally good, worthwhile, meaningful and wonderful regardless of gender, age, religion etc. See molecular biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s video commendation about how this explanation is the real liberation of women and also FAQ 8.1 ‘How does this reconcile the sexes’

Susan Branch

I always felt deep down that humans were basically good. The belief that humans have and will always be aggressive ego centric is the pervasive message to the world, and is viewed as ‘that’s our natural behaviour and just the way it is’. This feels safe, humorous, and joyful.

Aisling Smith

Amazing Truth x Thank You x

Nancy

Please explain in two sentences. It sounds a bit like a female sentric experience .

WTM Admin

THE Interview explains that a conflict between our instinct and intellect left humans with an undeserved sense of guilt and insecurity that caused us to become psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. While it is true that men in particular have carried a burden of guilt about the exceptionally angry, egocentric and alienated lives they were beset with as a result of battling so determinedly and heroically against our ignorant instinctive self or soul, both men and women have suffered from the human condition. Most importantly, now we can explain and understand this conflict and the guilt this battle between instinct and intellect produced, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and everyone frees themselves from the human condition. See FAQ 8.1 ‘How does this reconcile the sexes’.

Lee Boylett

Having always understood this condition I have been labeled ‘different’ and ignored by everyone, so glad it has now been completely explained, I love it. Thank you.

Gary Youree

IMO Homo sapiens is a species divided between what I term humanity and psychopathy. Humanity, and its domination prior to the Age of Agriculture, and its evolved inherent attributes; empathy, selflessness, self-sacrifice, and a conscience are solely responsible for the survival success of Homo sapiens while psychopathy, currently in domination, is responsible for a path which will end in premature extinction. Wealth inequality which is a shrinking diversity would be a death sentence for any and all species within nature. We are clearly on that path due to a global leadership dependent on those lacking the inherent traits of humanity. Survival independence is the inherent quest of seeking survival in its greatest quantity of time on this planet with the greatest quality of life. Homo sapiens only survived because it broke from the mold of survival of the fittest individual and by natural demand worked towards the strategy of survival of the species thru cooperative effort. This strategy came natural for the species who evolved and continuously inherited those attributes which naturally led to cooperative effort; there still exists groups of humanity which still dominate psychopathy. These groups are found around the world; they lack a strict hierarchy, sexism, and aggression towards each other. They, like our ancestors, lacked the concept of ownership and the tendency which leads to aggressive accumulation of ownership. It is likely humanity lost domination following the Age of Agriculture. IMO the whole of civilization was built by psychopathy as a net to plunder both the wages and returns of humanity. The idea that a civilization built on the accumulation of ownerships by a minority lacking the inherent attributes of humanity, while making humanity complicit, is a wonder of parasitic predatory behavior. I do not consider psychopathy a disease of humanity but rather a natural strategy of survival, the most common predatory survival strategy on our planet.

WTM Admin

As is mentioned in Part 3 of THE Interview recent theories such as ‘group selection’ and ‘self-domestication’ have attempted to argue that altruism or cooperation arose in our past through selection against aggression, but it is flawed biology because the reality is that any selfless behaviour will always be relentlessly selected against (see Chapters 6.8 to 6.10 of FREEDOM). No, the only way that genuine cooperation or selflessness could develop was through the nurturing based love-indoctrination process, which is introduced in Part 3 of this interview and which you can read more about in FREEDOM Chapter 5. THE Interview also explains that the real reason for our selfish state was not the rise of agriculture and ownership, but a psychosis that resulted from the clash between our instincts and intellect. Read more about false biological theories for human behaviour in Death by Dogma.

Billie McMillian

This is inspiring, l have hope for the Human race now, Yes I will share with my friends and family. how can I get the Book?

mercedes benezrah

thank you for this enlightening presentation it gives us hope in this trying times just listen to our instincts where goodness, love compasssion and unity is our real human condition

WTM Admin

The more you absorb this understanding Mercedes the more you gain a deep appreciation for why we had to block out or ‘not listen to’ our all-loving instincts while we continued the search for knowledge. What is so extraordinary about Jeremy’s biological treatise is that it actually defends the conscious mind for becoming so alienated from our loving instinctive self. That is the great paradox of the human condition – we humans had to defy our instincts and become corrupted in self in order to find understanding of the human condition. Now with that found we can at last reconcile and heal our split selves and return to a selfless way of living, see FAQ 4.3.

Felicity J

I have no doubt Freedom will be the most influential, world-changing book in history, and time will now be delineated as either BG, before Griffith, or AG, after Griffith.

Janakie Balasuriya

Genes and nerves do not provide the causes and effects. Those are resultant effects or the results of activities of the human mind. Modern Science which I would rather call Technology and Techniques, by no means find answers to human condition but those could be used as tools or instruments to express the understanding of the human mind which is the sole cause of the human condition.

WTM Admin

Now that science has found understanding of the different ways that the gene based and the nerve based learning system works, which is that the gene-based, natural selection process only gives species instinctive orientations to the world, whereas our nerve-based, conscious mind, which is able to make sense of cause and effect, is and needs understanding of the world to operate, we can understand the human condition. Science is able to explain that the human condition was caused by our mind challenging our instincts and to solve it equired finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect or mind and instincts work, and that is the great breakthrough that Jeremy Griffith has found (see Freedom Essay 4 on other thinkers who have recognised instinct and intellect elements involved in creating the human condition).

J. Gai

I’m happy to find this human condition interview although my English Language is poor. I did predict many words at this interview. According to my understanding I did understand that there are two invisible men with in every human condition. Also there are two female with in every woman. The two invisible men with in every man, they are Mr Bad and Mr Good with in human condition. Two in one. Mr Bad is full with all bad things in the World. Mr Good is full with all good things which make people happy in the World. Human condition is struggling to controlled the two rivals with in his home.

WTM Admin

J we appreciate you watching THE Interview and your comment especially given it is difficult when English isn’t one’s native language. It is true that our intstincts are loving and cooperative, and our intellect has been angry, egocentric and alienated, but with Jeremy’s explanation of the human condition we can now know that the intellect was ‘good’ to defy our instincts, because our instincts could not help but criticise the intellect’s necessary search for knowledge, and that this is the reason the intellect became angry, egocentric and alienated. With this redeeming explanation all that psychologically upset behaviour can now subside and heal and we can come ‘home’ with our instincts and intellect at last reconciled. See FAQ 1.3 ‘What is the explanation’ and FAQ 1.6 ‘Why understanding solves everything’.     Also THE Interview and our other key publication have been translated into various languages which you can see here on our homepage or under ‘The Main Videos’ there is a ‘Translations’ button.

Afshin

Great. A valuable treasure for us all. I am puzzled how to convince or remove the psychopaths from the wrong doings and listen to this book

WTM Admin

As THE Interview explains all humans are born with loving moral instincts but we now variously suffer from a psychosis due to the human condition and, in the extreme, that psychologically conflicted upset state produces excessively egocentric psychopathic behaviour. This is explained in chapter 8 (especially ch 8:16D, see especially par. 1003) of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM. Jeremy further elaborates on this need for power, control and domination in Freedom Essay 62 where he gives a full presentation of the entire heroic human journey and how understanding of the human condition now makes possible the real therapy and rehabilitation of the human race.     Of course this breakthrough explanation of our condition doesn’t condone or sanction such behaviour rather, through bringing compassionate understanding to the source of humans’ upset, it gives us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate it (see FAQ 4.2 How does this rehabilitate ‘evil’). This healing is a process but what is so transforming is we don’t have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad anymore because our fundamental goodness as a species has been biologically established. That macro truth looks after all humans now. As a Neil Sullivan commented below “All that I have learned from psychoanalytic thinking and practice is supported in this interview; the psychopathology of power, greed and domination can be individually overcome through understanding of the human condition; the collective unconscious can then gradually change our activities to ones that are in harmony with one another and all living forms on the planet.”

Thank you for the work. It has had an impact on me, and I can definitely relate. It’s been helpful. The whole idea of right and wrong, good and bad - and my own personal dilemmas that I’ve carried with me; the idea that I’m ‘less than’, intrinsically. Your interview has shed a lot of light, thank you.

Witold Wojcik

Darwin theory of evolution has some missing elements. This missing element is cooperation.

WTM Admin

Genes have to be selfish to reproduce, which means that unconditionally selfless cooperation cannot normally develop between one sexually reproducing individual and another. Recent theories such as ‘group selection’ and ‘self-domestication’ have attempted to get around this by arguing that genuine altruism or cooperation can arise through selection against aggression, but it is flawed biology because the reality is that any selfless behaviour will always be relentlessly selected against (see Chapters 6.8 to 6.10 of FREEDOM). No, the only way that genuine cooperation or selflessness could develop was through the nurturing based love-indoctrination process, which is introduced in Part 3 of THE Interview, and which you can read more about in Chapter 5 of FREEDOM.

Judith

There is no greater breakthrough needed right now. Water to a world dying of thirst.

ODAINIS HERNANDEZ

I love all that’s said about it. I agree. That’s a great job

Tom

While it is true that cognative awareness of our instinctive behaviors which create divisiveness and a troubled human condition is paramount to improving our civilization it is also true that some individuals (storks) whom are fully aware, fully woke, will take more from the tree, and influence others to serve their personal needs. Simply because they can. Eventually the unequal distribution of benefits will be apparent to all parties involved. The ensuing rationalization debates between have and have not’s, will remain unresolved, as will the perpetual human struggle.

WTM Admin

In THE Interview it is explained that we have completely loving and selfless instincts, and that our selfish, opportunist behaviour is the result of a psychosis, resulting from a clash between our emerging conscious mind and those pre-established instincts. And so while it is true that the more intelligient do have the ability to quickly see any opportunity for selfish self-advancement, that is not a reflection of selfish instincts. No, their opportunism and inequality is a symptom of the underlying, deep insecurity in humans caused by the human condition, so if we solve that condition we resolve its symptoms. To do this we needed to answer the essential question of why, when the ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish? It is this question of questions that Jeremy Griffith has solved with his instincts vs intellect explanation. To quote FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solve everything’: “So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race.”

Bernard Fierro

I loved this and subscribe to all of it. Thank you, Bernard Fierro

Michelle

The guy talks about healing the troubled mind. Question is how many people would be willing to be open to the idea of healing their “inner self” and “self forgiveness” There are people that feel it is the higher power’s job to forgive and heal a person. They won’t actually do the “work”.

WTM Admin

Hi Michelle. As with any new scientific breakthrough in history it may take time for people to realise this is the universal solution to all the problems we face but once it catches on—through people recognising the importance of it—the infectious enthusiasm and selfless love it liberates will spread like wildfire and this is starting to happen! You can see this growing appreciation and support for the WTM with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres popping up all over the world here on our homepage. Also see FAQs 1.4–1.6 and chapter 9:9 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM for more on the speed in which this knowledge can turn humanity in the right direction and transform it.     In terms of people defering to a higher power or God for forgiveness and healing, as is explained in FAQ 6.2 “in fairness to how much we 2-million-years-corrupted humans have needed the support of a metaphysical ‘God’, almost everyone should expect some shock and resistance to have to work through when absorbing the scientific explanation of ‘God’.” FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’ may also be of interest.

John Ward

A well thought out and presented discourse. Very interesting explanation.

Sonja

This is what my son has been saying and studying for 3-4 yrs now, not sure it was your actual book that started his journey, but at a time when the world needs an awakening of consciousness, these words are the truth

Roger Pope

Libertarian philosophy is what you are talking about. Logic and reason with reason as the only absolute. Intellect is the human condition and the sharing ideas for the betterment of all. Yes. Knowledge and science for the betterment of the human condition.

WTM Admin

Solving the human condition meant answering the question of why, when the ideals are to be loving and cooperative, we are so selfish and competitive, and that was ultimately a biological question as it required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work – this is the great breakthrough Jeremy Griffith has found.

Sharon Kelly

So then may I conclude that we can not have that state of perfection because now we know we are not perfect and yet we still deserve to have that state iunless WE allow ourselves and we haven’t evolved to that yet????

WTM Admin

THE Interview explains we humans rightly left our loving soulful state (‘that state of perfection’) and suffered becoming corrupted in soul (became ‘not perfect’) in order to fulfil the great potential of our conscious mind. So at last we can now understand just how heroic the human journey to find knowledge has been and we no longer have to carry the immense burden of guilt and shame for having corrupted our original innocent state. So yes, we not only ‘deserve’ to be able to return to our ‘perfect’ loving, soulful original state now the task of championing our ignorance and solving the human condition has been achieved, we actually can return to it! As Jeremy Griffith explains on the WTM Transformation page “We now have the completely redeeming, uplifting and healing biological understanding of the core mystery and problem about human behaviour of our so-called ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition—thus ending all the conflict and suffering in human life at its source, and providing the now urgently needed road map for the complete rehabilitation and transformation of our lives and world!”

Dr Steven Cruise

Excellent analysis!

KOU CHARLES

That’s great!

Sue

In college we are indoctrinated into thinking we were nothing more than animals with animal instincts. I have always known there was a much more deeper understanding to the human condition. It is wonderful to hear a great discussion on this matter.
