Don’t think he understands the left wing..socialism is about sharing and taking care of those weaker in society. The capitalist right believe in treading on the weak and the poor.
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith’s biological ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wings of politics. For example, when we understand that the search for knowledge, namely the search for understanding of our ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition, has been all-important, we can see that, paradoxically, it is the left, not the right, that poses the real threat to humanity because the left’s dogmatically imposed idealism inhibits freedom of thought and that search for understanding. Jeremy is not demonising the left wing (indeed, in his book FREEDOM he acknowledges the importance of compassion in holding a society together) but rather explains from scientific first principles the serious threat posed by pseudo idealism to humanity’s ultimate goal of finding understanding. We suggest you visit our FAQs on politics.

Greatly appreciated and will share!
WTM Admin
Hi Mary, thank you very much for your appreciative response. Yes, solving the human condition is the best news of all, because it solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source. We can now understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness, so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. We hope you pursue your interest by subscribing to our mailing list and joining the WTM’s vibrant Facebook Group.

I am happy that you mention the Bonabos in your lectures. When I touched the hands of the Bonabos when I went to Zaire in the 90s, it was truly a spiritual experience. I feel truly blessed that I had the opportunity and experience. Thank you so very much for this lecture.
WTM Admin
What an incredibly special experience, Carolyn. Lucky you! Yes, the bonobos (our closest living relative) are an incredible species as they give us an amazing insight into the loving moral lives of our ancestors; Jeremy Griffith actually describes in his definitive book, FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition, the “astonishing and irreplaceable evidence they provide of our origins”. I very much recommend Freedom Essays 21 (‘How we acquired our altruistic moral conscience’) and 22 (‘Fossil discoveries evidence our nurtured origins’), which explain how the cooperative, matriarchal bonobos represent a better model of our ancestors than the aggressive, competitive chimpanzees, as well as chapter 5.6 of FREEDOM (‘Bonobos provide living evidence of the love-indoctrination process’), which describes in greater detail how bonobos evidence the development of our own moral instincts.

This is a fantastic realization, understanding and living as a true human as a final product through the evolutionary process. Its about the balance of the mind and body in a living human.

Knowledge; They have taken away the key(s) of “knowledge.” Religion and Science are taught to be contrast to the other, so the people have been conditioned to oppose SCIENCE as an explanation of itself. How can you undo a “BRAINWASHED” PEOPLE, that has been deprived and destroyed for the lack of Knowledge?
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith presents first principle-based, rational, testable, biological understanding of the human condition. There is no faith or belief involved, it’s all about knowledge. This realm of inquiry is, however, where science and religion overlap — as the Nobel prize-winning physicist Charles H. Townes recognised, science and religion “both represent man’s efforts to understand his universe and must ultimately be dealing with the same substance. As we understand more in each realm, the two must grow together…converge they must.” And this is what Jeremy Griffith’s work does. It reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to religion’s pre-scientific descriptions of our condition.
With regard to this breakthrough being adopted by the world, as Jeremy says in Freedom Essay 15, “It is not a revolution that involves warfare and bloodshed like so many revolutions in the past, but a peaceful revolution that is driven by irrefutable knowledge/understanding. We humans are conscious beings and what consciousness needs is understanding, and now we have it. Ultimately, we humans respond to knowledge — anything less was bound to be ineffective. This is the real and lasting transformation that the human race has lived in hope, faith and trust would one day occur. It is the revolution of our minds.”

No. Certainly there has been a recognition in literature (and by profound thinkers generally) that there must be something better than our current human condition-afflicted state. However many people have deluded themselves that this liberated state could be achieved through people artificially restraining, sublimating and even transcending their upset, corrupted condition, but the truth is that this state could only be achieved by confronting, truthfully thinking about, and finally explaining and thus solving the human condition at its source, which is what Jeremy Griffith has done. In the end it was only getting to the bottom of it all that could fulfil Jonathan Livingston Seagull’s quest for perfection in Richard Bach’s novel. FAQ 6.5 explains the critical difference between Jeremy’s work and the New Age Movement.

The europran race is teh reason we are in this mess - thank you white people
WTM Admin
No, that isn’t the case at all. As THE Interview explains all humans are born with all-loving moral instincts but now variously suffer from a psychosis due to the human condition caused by the conscious mind’s necessary search for knowledge. So we can at last understand WHY as a species we have become psychologically upset — so competitive and aggressive as to want to dominate and control others. We can also explain that all ‘races’ (ethnic groups) fall somewhere on the spectrum of either being more sheltered from humanity’s heroic battle to find knowledge, or more exposed to it, and so are either more innocent or more psychologically upset. We can see that at this point of time Caucasians fall somewhere in the middle, with more psychologically embattled races having ‘peaked’ earlier, and less psychologically embattled races yet to peak (see chapter 8:16E of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM), however, the truth is that all humans are now part of the extremely upset stage of humanity, H. sapiens sapiens, and are therefore nowhere near as innocent as humans were some 2 million years ago when the battle of the human condition first emerged. So the more upset have been overthrowing the less upset since the human condition emerged. However, what is most important is that despite the differing levels of upset due to everyone’s different encounters with humanity’s heroic battle to find knowledge, we are all equally good. Now we can understand the human condition we can see that no person or race is superior or inferior. This desperately needed reconciling understanding of the relationship between races is further explained in Freedom Essay 28 and for a testimonial on the power of this information to end racism, we recommend watching/reading the presentation from Franklin Mukakanga, of Zambia, and Refentse Mukakanga from South Africa, in Video/Freedom Essay 8.
Further, in Addendum 2 of his book Death by Dogma, Jeremy explains why the white, patriarchal, Judeo-Christian Western culture, like the right-wing in politics, has been one of the main targets for rejection by the pseudo idealistic, politically correct, ‘woke’, identity politics, cancel culture movement — but that it has finally delivered the explanation of the human condition that the whole world has been so desperately waiting for.

I am very curious
WTM Admin
We welcome your curiosity Marilia! The best place to start is to watch THE Interview (at HumanCondition.com), in which Jeremy Griffith presents his breakthrough ‘instinct v intellect’ explanation of the human condition. Part 1 of this interview presents the explanation as quickly and simply as possible and FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept. Essentially, when we humans developed a conscious mind some 2 million years ago, a battle unavoidably developed between it and our already established instincts. The result of this conflict between our instinct and intellect was that we became psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric — the upset state we refer to as the human condition. But now that we can explain and understand this conflict, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition. Happy exploring Marilia!
Arlene Kathy Seegerts
I had a hard time listening to this, due to the false assumption, right at the beginning, that every human being has/had the same competitive belief system, because that is not true of every human. Or every group of humans. As many cultures believe very differently and may have figured out deeper meaning, long before science claimed to have supreme knowledge.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts Arlene. We suggest that all cultures, at some level, believe that humans have a predisposition to be competitive. Science based Western societies specifically prescribe this to ‘selfish instincts’, while other cultures variously explain it through mythology or some belief system. This is not to say that all cultures believe that it is good to be competitive – that is not what is being suggested in THE Interview – just that it is universally recognised that human competitiveness is an underlying reality.
Certainly culture has played a very important role in reminding us of the ideals and ensuring that human behaviour did not become overly angry, egocentric and alienated. And in THE Interview Jeremy talks about how we intuitively knew but were unable to explain that we “were actually the complete opposite of evil, namely truly wonderful, good and meaningful—in fact not just good but the heroes of the story of life on Earth!” However until we could explain our destructive behaviour we had to cope somehow, and the savage instincts ‘excuse’ for our selfish and aggressive behaviour is the main way we have done that in Western society. As Jeremy says “So, to start at the beginning, I know everyone listening is living with the belief—well it’s what we were all taught at school and are told in every documentary—that humans’ competitive, selfish and aggressive behaviour is due to us having savage, must-reproduce-our-genes instincts like other animals have. Certainly while left-wing thinkers do claim we have some selfless, cooperative instincts, they also say we have this selfish, competitive ‘animal’ side, which Karl Marx limited to such basic needs as sex, food, shelter and clothing.” The host Craig Conway reinforces this point when he says “Yes, that’s exactly what I’ve understood is the reason for our competitive and aggressive nature—that we have brutally competitive, survival-of-the-fittest instincts, which we are always having to try to restrain or civilise or try to control as best we can; I mean that’s what I was taught in school.”
With regard to other cultures “figuring out deeper meaning”, we do maintain that to fundamentally bring peace to the human condition we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview.
Now with this explanation we can understand all humans are born with an instinctive self or soul that is perfectly aligned to a cooperative and selfless way of living and that humans’ upset (angry, egocentric and alienated) behaviour is not a product of savage animal instincts within us, or ‘original sin’, or delusion of self in Buddhism, or mythological figures like the Wendigo in North American traditions, etc etc, but the result of a universal psychosis caused by the unavoidable clash between our instinct and intellect. This brings such deep meaning to the human journey because it defends our so-called ‘dark side’ and explains that despite all appearances to the contrary, all humans are ‘good’. And by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to legitimately return to our all-loving state.

As I listen to this, not only science has contributed to our way of thinking, but I think religions have also done this to the human being. Am I on the right thinking pass
WTM Admin
Hi Liz, the human condition is the study of humans’ capacity for acts of both so-called ‘good and evil’ it is the realm of inquiry where science and religion overlap so yes both have made critically important contributions to the human journey. Religions contain all manner of truths about human life but it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents which actually reconciles science and religion!
The different roles and contributions science and religion have made is explained in our FAQ 1.15 ‘If this is biology why are there religious references’, to quote in part:
“The human condition is the underlying issue in all human affairs, and our hitherto lack of understanding of it is where human progress has been stalled.
Having been unable, until now, to explain the human condition—which is the dilemma of our species’ capacity for what has been called ‘good and evil’—the human race has been left with a deep, subconscious sense of insecurity and even guilt about our fundamental worth, leaving us no choice but to live in near total denial of the issue of the human condition, relying on dogmatic and religious assurances about our fundamental goodness until we could scientifically explain why we are good after all.
The whole objective of our conscious mind has surely been to replace ignorance, mystery, superstition and dogma with knowledge and understanding. So in order to search for knowledge and comply with our almost universal need to deny the human condition, we needed both science and religion. Science took up the responsibility of enquiring into the mechanisms and workings of our world in a denial-complying, mechanistic (not holistic) way, while religions became the custodians of the ideals of life and dealt with the question of ‘good and evil’ and our sense of guilt in an abstract, metaphysical way that provided comfort in the absence of understanding. So, the true role of science was to liberate humanity from ignorance and the true role of religion was to comfort humanity while the search went on until the explanation of the human condition was finally found, which is exactly what has happened.
Through the advances made by mechanistic science a holistic, denial-free, human-condition-confronting-not-avoiding, first-principle biological explanation has been able to be synthesised by biologist Jeremy Griffith, that at last answers this age-old and crux question about our fundamental goodness and worth as a species, and it is this explanation that is presented on this website. It is to be expected, then, that when this breakthrough explanation is found, such scientific work will be able to demystify and make sense of all religious terminology, metaphysic and dogma, as well as unravelling all the denial and dishonesty of mechanistic science—which it does.”
We also think you might find our FAQs about religion most interesting, especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.

Is this presented in sufficient publications and platforms to reach and create a solid understanding by all IQ subcultures?
WTM Admin
We are well on our way Oso! Every day there is more discussion and support building globally in various publications and platforms for biologist Jeremy Griffith’s breakthrough explanation of the human condition. The World Transformation Movement homepage, HumanCondition.com, shows this growing momentum and support! You will see the thousands of impressive commendations Jeremy’s work has received from thought leaders and members of the public, all our extensive publications and the many media reviews, interviews and articles in our publicity section. Also we have many translations available and there are over 80 WTM Centres that people have opened across the globe. We are a not-for-profit organisation and make all our material and publications completely free!
The fundamental explanation is very simple and not beyond the most basic of educations. However, as Jeremy explains in THE Interview, the energy and selfless love understanding the human condition generates those peoples who are impoverished and don’t have access to basic education will be genuinely helped in every sense. As you can already see on our Transformation page and also in the incredible discussions in our booming Facebook Group (which we encourage you to join), once people understand this breakthrough instead of them being selfishly preoccupied with power, fame, fortune and glory, all their energies are freed to truly work together and focus on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering in all the corners of the world, see FAQ 1.6 ‘Why understanding solves everything’ and FAQ 1.40 ‘How can you hope to transform the world?’. So, in a world fast going crazy from the effects of the human condition, this is the now desperately needed reconciling understanding that brings about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition. This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race!

I wish that there is an arabic translation of this book, anyway this kind of vision is extremely supportive genuine esp in this time where everyone say everything with a great confusion this interview helps you to survive from the huge lies
WTM Admin
Yes Tarek Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition unravels the seemingly impenetrable and insoluble confusion of human life including why we lie. As he explains in THE Interview until we could understand our human condition—that is, understand why we humans are competitive, aggressive and selfish, so psychologically upset, when our instincts are actually to be cooperative, loving and selfless—all we sensibly could do was practice almost total denial of it. Thankfully, with this now biologically explained, that denial or “huge lies” can end and we can bring about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition as FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does this understanding solve everything’ explains.
Jeremy’s books and essays are being translated into many languages around the world, thanks to wonderful efforts from the WTM’s ever-expanding global network of support. Unfortunately we don’t yet have any Arabic translations but our Translations page shows all the languages that are available. Also people can watch THE Interview (and all the videos on our website) using the closed captions or subtitles function in their native language. The subtitles icon ‘cc’ is at the bottom of the video player, and you can choose languages using the ‘cog’ setting next to it.

Aremu Funke
I really hope this interview entails what is applicable to real world scenarios
WTM Admin
It most certainly does Aremu! As Jeremy Griffith explains in THE interview all human selfishness, in our individual lives right through to international conflicts, is ultimately an expression of our psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated human condition. We suggest that as you digest this understanding of the human condition, you will see that the only way we could address and solve such real world scenarios was through removing the insecurity that was driving that divisive behaviour, which is what Jeremy’s explanation makes possible. We can now understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness, so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. This is the rapidly practical transforming effect of being able to understand the human condition, however because it presents a huge paradigm shift in our thinking it does take a little time to fully grasp. FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 are helpful as they talk about the far-reaching practical applications of this understanding and also FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’
Charmaine van Kerken
Thank you, thank you, thank you......
Patricia White
It’s called patriarchy
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Patricia. What Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview is that the source of humans angry, egocentric and alienated human condition state is not patriarchy, but a psychosis caused by the clash between our pre-established loving instincts and emerging conscious mind. Being able to explain the human condition reveals that all our upset selfish and brutal behaviour, especially on the part of men, has been an unavoidable consequence of humans’ necessary search for self-knowledge. This allows us to finally understand the different roles men and women have historically taken up under the duress of the human condition, and bring peace to the war between the sexes. For instance, it can now be appreciated that when the ignorance of our instinctive self of our conscious thinking self’s need to search for knowledge posed a threat to humanity, it was men in their historic role of group protector who took on the role of resisting that threat, leaving women out of the upsetting battle to preserve as much upset-free, loving innocence as possible to nurture the next generation. This meant that when this upsetting battle against our instincts began after the emergence of consciousness some 2 million years ago, the nurturing matriarchal or female-centric priority that created our altruistic moral instincts and a cooperative humanity (see FAQ 5.2 ‘How did we acquire our moral soul?’), was superseded in importance by a patriarchal or male-centric world. Thank goodness with the battle to defeat the ignorance of our instinctive moral soul now won, the horror of both men’s and women’s existence can end, and our dreamed-of-time where society will be neither matriarchal or patriarchal, but gender-neutral and at peace, can begin. For a summary of how this knowledge reconciles men and women see our FAQ 8.1. You might find molecular biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s commendation of Jeremy’s work helpful. To quote “because Griffith’s work establishes the equal worth or goodness of all humans we can now understand the different roles that men and women have traditionally played in the human journey and this is actually the unlocking point, this is what brings about deep empathy for each other, it heals the divide.” You can watch or read this commendation in Video/Freedom Essay 9 titled This is the real liberation of women.

Tom
It’s not a human condition. God, our creator gave us free will and self will. He gave us a choice to follow him or blaze our own trail. So, what did free will say? I’ll bet it’s the same thing self will said..
WTM Admin
We certainly respect people’s religious views Tom and it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts (see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’). For instance as Jeremy explains in Part 2 of THE Interview the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is a metaphor for the conscious mind exercising it’s free will and going in search of knowledge in the presence of pre-established loving instincts, and how the conscious mind was in effect ‘condemned’ by those instincts, and as a result became psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. So the metaphor of eating the fruit is symbolic of us defying our cooperative instinctive self in order to begin searching for knowledge, which was what consciousness or our free will required. So our free will and instinctive self were at odds. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that Adam and Eve were ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! This understanding establishes that we are good and not bad after all. What THE Interview presents fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough.

Felt this other person inside me most my life
WTM Admin
Yes, we have had to live a very shallow existence while we couldn’t explain the human condition - we had to ‘resign’ ourselves to a life of just seeking reinforcement, denying the existence of our real self. As is made clear in FAQ 1.33, “Throughout our 2 million year journey to find the truthful redeeming understanding of our corrupted condition, defensive denial—along with defensively attacking any criticism of our corrupted condition, and defensively finding ways to artificially make ourselves feel good about ourselves—is what made that journey possible.” And “Basically we would talk about all manner of positive achievements without ever mentioning the negative of how horrendously corrupted and horrendously practising of denial of that truth and thus how horrendously alienated/psychotic/split from our true all-loving and all-sensitive instinctive self or soul we actually were. There was this massive metaphorical elephant in the room, our extremely alienated condition, that no one was confronting or admitting.”
Thankfully, that can now all end. We finally have the explanation that allows us to truly heal and re-unite with our original, all-sensitive, all-loving soul.

Just an amazing interview. I recently read Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake. In it he describes how the fungal world has formed and supported life on earth and continues to do so. It is uniquely cooperative and makes judgment and problem solves without a brain. We are emerged from a cooperative earth. This is such an important concept and relief to hear. I have been brainstorming on building a platform based on cooperation to reduce harm , that then leads to trust and our ability to organize and cooperate politically to push back against fascism in the USA. To break the divide between our political views so we come together as communities can , as families can, as mother can nurtures a child. This interview could not have come at a better time. I will share it and look forward to reading the book. May the fruit of your insight ignite a light that the world of humanity needs to become its best.
WTM Admin
Thank you, Robert, for your very considered comment and we encourage your interest; you can immediately access a copy of Jeremy Griffith’s book FREEDOM here on our website: Jeremy Griffith’s Books & Other Presentations. We did want to clarify, however, that the solution to the human condition isn’t simply to emulate instances of cooperation in nature (which are, in essence, instances of reciprocity – see Freedom Essay 25 ‘The truthful biology’), and be kind and cooperative to each other by civilising the reality of our species’ angry, egocentric and alienated state. It is to get to the bottom of the crux question of the human condition, which is WHY do we no longer love and cooperate with one another — why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish? It is this question that Jeremy confronts and answers through first principle biology because only through understanding the dark side of ourselves — why we departed from our all-loving and cooperative instincts and became selfish — can we free ourselves from the human condition and legitimately love ourselves and each other again; a process that will in turn reconcile all the divisive polarities in personal and public life, including politics; please see our FAQs on politics.

Mr Griffith’s concept is clear enough. It describes Cain’s personality. Jeremiah tried to speculate about it too. He wrote “The heart is deceitfully wicked. Who can know it?” Yes it’s time we got to know about it. I suppose Satan has something to do about it. But many wouldn’t believe this unless they realize the existence of the spiritual realm. But biology is natural, not spiritual, so if these two diametrically opposite explanations could be resolved, then we’ll have a better understanding.

The instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition is completely logical and accountable and demystifies many truths that have previously been enshrined in metaphysical descriptions, such as the concept of ‘satan’ to personify humanity’s psychologically upset state. We can now also explain the Cain and Abel story as representing how the advent of agriculture and the domestication of animals led to a rapid increase in upset (which you can read more about in paragraph 906 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM.
Ultimately, we suggest that the more you digest the explanation, the more you will see that even though it is a rational, biological account, it actually encompasses the ‘spiritual’ element of life. We thought you might find our FAQs about religion of interest, in particular FAQ 6.7 ‘How can a scientific explanation ever hope to account for and encompass the great ‘spiritual’ dimension we know exists in life? / Isn’t ‘spirituality’ beyond a purely rational explanation?’’

Wow! This is a mind-blowing, thought-provoking and spiritually uplifting piece of work.

Interesting information about human thoughts, human condition, the way people live, human beings, human life.

Its taking me some time to let this sink in as im recently experimenting in this area..I do really well by imagining im doing really well & getting on with my partner in a loving way, but after a while I find i slip back into my old habits of uncertainty , & untrust etc...Then it’s a battle of overcoming again & it helps, but I need continuity...¿

What is so significant about what is presented here is that we now have the ability, for the first time, to understand every aspect of human behaviour and our behaviour will change naturally as a result. At last we can understand we have been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because at last we have the first principle-based science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. This is the rapidly transforming practical effect of being able to understand the human condition which is fully explained and illustrated on our Transformation page. Also FAQ 1.4 explains the far-reaching application of this explanation and Freedom Essay 15 is all about ‘How understanding the human condition can immediately transform your and every other human’s life and save the world’.

This presentation of the human condition is in line with my thought and experience. The existential leap. One must forsake the easy out of the instinct explanation and embrace the moral/ cooperative. There is an internal necesssity for the moral cooperative stance which is outside of and beyond religious dogma and institutional hierarchy. Consciousness requires honest communication not dogma.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your considered comments Alan. Yes, we can now defend our so-called ‘dark side’ and explain that despite all appearances to the contrary, all humans are ‘good’. And paradoxically, by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to end the perpetuation of our destructive behaviour and bring about the “moral cooperative stance” that we have all wanted. And you are right, it was only by confronting and explaining the human condition that we could put an end to the agony of the human condition; dogmatic appeals to just ‘cooperate’ could never achieve that; in fact the great danger of dogmatic insistences on ideal behaviour was that they had the effect of oppressing the search for knowledge, ultimately self-knowledge, understanding of the human condition.

I love this
It aligns with how I’ve always thought but with real concrete answers as to what the problem is
Before this I always explained history as an explanation and PROOF of action vs reaction
Examples of doing good vs wrong
I’m grateful humanity has someone who has dissected real reasons via science
My biggest concern even above greed are children getting taken and abused and the whole world doesn’t fight like mankind has always fought slavery
So my go to such highly intellectual response is usually about that subject
Questions such as “with your intelligence why isn’t saving children your top priority”
But I will refrain from that topic because this information will eventually reach that side of humanity
Thank you for sharing this freely
Thank you for covering as many angles as you did
I’m so grateful for you
WTM Admin
Hi Lyndse, thank you very much for your considered and appreciative comment. What is so extraordinary about Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is that it defends our so-called ‘dark side’. We can understand the battle between our intellect and our cooperative instincts caused us to become psychologically angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. Now that we can understand this conflict all those destructive and insecure behaviours that have resulted in abuse, greed and inequality, are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from that state and can legitimately return to a cooperative way of living. We suggest reading FAQ 1.38 ‘How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour?'; and FAQ 1.40, which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”

Im addicted. Ive listened over and over. I am overwhelmed by the NEED to speak about this. I have made it a point to basically harass my circle.
WTM Admin
Awesome Megan! But you do need to be very aware of the Deaf Effect which you will likely encounter in your friends – basically not everyone will be able to ‘hear’ this information as easily as you, and the only way to not become distressed or discouraged by that is to fully understand what is happening. We suggest people watch the companion presentation to THE Interview titled The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect. This presentation comprehensively deals with people’s understandable fear and cynicism about confronting the human condition and provides astonishing clarification of why discussion of it causes most people to initially experience a ‘Deaf Effect’ to what’s being presented and put that down to the delivery of the presentation rather than its content.

Sharon
This is interesting, however, following Christ clearly already defines the human condition you speak of. The Word explains everything.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment Sharon. We are respectful of everyone’s beliefs, but do suggest that while religions contained extraordinary truth about human life, it was all from a pre-scientific view, and that ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that clarifying difference means we can now understand that we had to defy our instincts, which is why this great breakthrough is described as ‘redeeming’. It follows that by finding the good reason we had to defy our instincts, we can reconcile ourselves with them, because all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant. We no longer need them because we have the real defense for why we had to defy our instincts. We recommend reading FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion?’ where it is explained that, “The great founding prophets of religion actually looked forward to the arrival of the reconciling understanding of the human condition—which means supporters of religion shouldn’t see Jeremy’s scientific demystification of religious teachings as blasphemy, but as religious fulfillment!”
Shaun McKie
Wonderful insightful and well presented, I’d love to have a one to one with the professor to see if he can explain me !!! Help please love and blessings 🙏🙏🙏🍀
WTM Admin
Hi Shaun, it does take a little time to see how this insightful explanation of our human condition applies to our own condition so we suggest you re-watch THE Interview and also watch its companion presentation The Great Guilt. What is so immensely helpful and relieving about this breakthrough is that we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can now know that our psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. That is the overarching comforting truth that loves and unites all humans now and we can look after ourselves with great compassion, love and kindness. You might find our FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 helpful as well as they talk about the practical applications of this understanding.

World Transformation Movement is a not-for-profit organisation and THE Interview, along with all Jeremy Griffith’s books, are completely free and immediately available HERE on our website, no registration required. This includes Jeremy’s new book The Human Condition which is one of his three most important presentations, serving as a powerful short-in-length bridge between THE Interview and his definitive book FREEDOM. It takes his human-race-saving insights to a new depth of clarity, so is a MUST READ but we recommend you watch or read THE Interview first! You can also download the free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you are particularly after a hardcopy of Jeremy’s books they are available all around the world to purchase from Amazon and other good bookstores.

I have always felt deep down something is missing. I have always felt that bond between nature and humanity being it’s caretaker vs its destroyer. Do u believe the same?
WTM Admin
What you describe here Jamie is the point or question of the human condition:- why when our instincts are to be cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. The answer to this question is what has been missing and to answer it required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work and that is the great biological breakthrough biologist Jeremy Griffith presents here in THE Interview (which you can watch at the top of our homepage). It couldn’t be more significant because at last we can explain away the guilt and shame we’ve carried for corrupting or destroying our soul and it’s natural world—for living at odds with our selfless moral conscience. You may find FAQ 1.26 ‘What is soul, have we all got one, has it been repressed, and if so, how do we rehabilitate it?’ helpful.

Need to understand
WTM Admin
Great to have your interest Abraham! The best place to start is to watch THE Interview, in which Jeremy Griffith presents his breakthrough ‘instinct v intellect’ explanation of the human condition. (It is totally free to watch or read at the top of the World Transformation Movement homepage.).Part 1 of this interview presents the explanation as quickly and simply as possible and FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept. Happy exploring Abraham!

For two million years the human race has been living in a disassociate state of denial and so many people are coming out of disassociation since childhood to love the world 🌎🌍
WTM Admin
Yes Hanna as Jeremy Griffith explains all humans are born with loving, cooperative instincts but we all now variously suffer from a psychosis due to the unavoidable clash between these instincts and our emerging conscious mind which began approximately 2 million years ago. This psychosis manifests in angry, egocentric and alienated or ‘upset’ behaviour. Further without this defence for our upset behaviour we sensibly embraced a strategy of denial of our human condition conflicted state. As Jeremy explains in Part 2 of THE Interview, “while it has been recognised—even from ancient times—that the emergence of our conscious mind somehow caused us to ‘fall from grace’, or however you want to describe the corruption of our original innocent cooperative, selfless and loving instinctive state, it wasn’t until science revealed the difference between the gene-based and nerve-based learning systems—which is that genes can orientate but nerves need to understand—that we were finally in a position to explain the good reason for our angry, egocentric and alienated human condition…we’ve had to live in denial of our corrupted, psychologically upset condition while we couldn’t explain it.” And, most importantly, as Part 4 explains a psychosis can be healed with understanding, so our psychological upset is fixable or changeable. So now we have the knowledge we have been searching for we no longer have to “live in a disassociate state of denial” and can legitimately return to a selfless, loving way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our upset state instead of denying or transcending it. People might enjoy our FAQs 1.4 – 1.6 which are all about this transformation and how we can now live selflessly and FAQ 6.5 which clarifies the important and critical difference between Jeremy’s work and the new age movement.

Are you telling me that , primitive man didn’t grab said woman by the hair and drag her into a cave to rape her, didn’t happen?
WTM Admin
The central tenet of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is that humans have a cooperative, loving instinctive heritage, not a brutish, savage and aggressive one, and that the source of our aggression is a psychosis that has been compounding ever since the instinct and intellect clashed some 2 million years ago. It follows then that the further back in history we go, the less psychologically upset our ancestors were. As is mentioned in THE Interview, the anthropologist C. Owen Lovejoy reported that “our species-defining cooperative mutualism can now be seen to extend well beyond the deepest Pliocene [which is well beyond 5.3 million years ago]”. In chapter 8 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, the whole human journey is explained, showing that humans lived in a cooperative state for at least 5 million years before the emergence of the human condition some 2 million years ago.

Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. How this healing is immediately open to us all is summarised in FAQ 1.4.

Extremely brilliant presentation. I’m sure the tree of knowledge should have been called the tree of EGO, because without EGO there would be no hate racism or greed and everyone would realise we are all equal and all on the same path
WTM Admin
Yes, there is so much to unpack with understanding of the human condition now found. The main thing to understand is that necessary search for knowledge caused us to become psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated, and the only solution for that was to find the liberating understanding of why our intellect had to defy our instincts, however the more we searched for that liberating understanding, the more psychologically upset we became! We can now see that becoming angry, egocentric and alienated (with all its manifestations such as racism and greed), were unavoidable consequences of this all-important search for knowledge. It was a terrible conundrum. However, through the heroic efforts of all humans we have now found that understanding and we can, at last, legitimately return to a loving and cooperative state.

Amazing way to open horizons. Two thumbs up!!!!
Don’t think he understands the left wing..socialism is about sharing and taking care of those weaker in society. The capitalist right believe in treading on the weak and the poor.
Amazing Thank you! Good news indeed!🙏💞 Progressive true instinct. Greatly appreciated and will share!

I am happy that you mention the Bonabos in your lectures. When I touched the hands of the Bonabos when I went to Zaire in the 90s, it was truly a spiritual experience. I feel truly blessed that I had the opportunity and experience. Thank you so very much for this lecture.
I love this article
Knowledge; They have taken away the key(s) of “knowledge.” Religion and Science are taught to be contrast to the other, so the people have been conditioned to oppose SCIENCE as an explanation of itself. How can you undo a “BRAINWASHED” PEOPLE, that has been deprived and destroyed for the lack of Knowledge?
It is the revolution of our minds.”God Bless You, I really needed to Hear From A Wise Man Today!
Understanding is key. This needs to be studied. Looked at very closely there must be an answer

Free at last, it is finished...

The europran race is teh reason we are in this mess - thank you white people
No, that isn’t the case at all. This desperately needed reconciling understanding of the relationship between races is further explained in Freedom Essay 28 and for a testimonial on the power of this information to end racism, we recommend watching/reading the presentation from Franklin Mukakanga, of Zambia, and Refentse Mukakanga from South Africa, in Video/Freedom Essay 8.Further, in Addendum 2 of his book Death by Dogma, Jeremy explains why the white, patriarchal, Judeo-Christian Western culture, like the right-wing in politics, has been one of the main targets for rejection by the pseudo idealistic, politically correct, ‘woke’, identity politics, cancel culture movement — but that it has finally delivered the explanation of the human condition that the whole world has been so desperately waiting for.Fascinating need to listen again
Amazing...thank you
Pretty much looking forward to new levels of comprehension.

An interesting and very touching provocative read. Very spiritually enriching
I am very curious
I had a hard time listening to this, due to the false assumption, right at the beginning, that every human being has/had the same competitive belief system, because that is not true of every human. Or every group of humans. As many cultures believe very differently and may have figured out deeper meaning, long before science claimed to have supreme knowledge.
Thank you for your thoughts Arlene. We suggest that all cultures, at some level, believe that humans have a predisposition to be competitive. Science based Western societies specifically prescribe this to ‘selfish instincts’, while other cultures variously explain it through mythology or some belief system. This is not to say that all cultures believe that it is good to be competitive – that is not what is being suggested in THE Interview – just that it is universally recognised that human competitiveness is an underlying reality.Certainly culture has played a very important role in reminding us of the ideals and ensuring that human behaviour did not become overly angry, egocentric and alienated. Certainly while left-wing thinkers do claim we have some selfless, cooperative instincts, they also say we have this selfish, competitive ‘animal’ side, which Karl Marx limited to such basic needs as sex, food, shelter and clothing.” The host Craig Conway reinforces this point when he says “Yes, that’s exactly what I’ve understood is the reason for our competitive and aggressive nature—that we have brutally competitive, survival-of-the-fittest instincts, which we are always having to try to restrain or civilise or try to control as best we can; I mean that’s what I was taught in school.”With regard to other cultures “figuring out deeper meaning”, we do maintain that to fundamentally bring peace to the human condition we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. And by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to legitimately return to our all-loving state.I am interested in being a part of the discussion.

. This confirms the search for meaning and the reason mankind is in chaos. It is a scientific breakthrough that many are not going to accept easily because of the entrenched dogmas in them. For free thinkers, salvation is now. Much appreciated for the job well done.
As I listen to this, not only science has contributed to our way of thinking, but I think religions have also done this to the human being. Am I on the right thinking pass
The different roles and contributions science and religion have made is explained in our FAQ 1.15 ‘If this is biology why are there religious references’, to quote in part:“The human condition is the underlying issue in all human affairs, and our hitherto lack of understanding of it is where human progress has been stalled.Having been unable, until now, to explain the human condition—which is the dilemma of our species’ capacity for what has been called ‘good and evil’—the human race has been left with a deep, subconscious sense of insecurity and even guilt about our fundamental worth, leaving us no choice but to live in near total denial of the issue of the human condition, relying on dogmatic and religious assurances about our fundamental goodness until we could scientifically explain why we are good after all.The whole objective of our conscious mind has surely been to replace ignorance, mystery, superstition and dogma with knowledge and understanding. So, the true role of science was to liberate humanity from ignorance and the true role of religion was to comfort humanity while the search went on until the explanation of the human condition was finally found, which is exactly what has happened.Through the advances made by mechanistic science a holistic, denial-free, human-condition-confronting-not-avoiding, first-principle biological explanation has been able to be synthesised by biologist Jeremy Griffith, that at last answers this age-old and crux question about our fundamental goodness and worth as a species, and it is this explanation that is presented on this website. It is to be expected, then, that when this breakthrough explanation is found, such scientific work will be able to demystify and make sense of all religious terminology, metaphysic and dogma, as well as unravelling all the denial and dishonesty of mechanistic science—which it does.”We also think you might find our FAQs about religion most interesting, especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.Intelligent thesis. Well explained. Thank you .
This is so interesting. Thank you for all your efforts in making this available!
Awesome truth
Is this presented in sufficient publications and platforms to reach and create a solid understanding by all IQ subcultures?
This is the understanding that ends human suffering at its source, and unites the human race!Wow what a revelation and powerful enlightenment.
I wish that there is an arabic translation of this book, anyway this kind of vision is extremely supportive genuine esp in this time where everyone say everything with a great confusion this interview helps you to survive from the huge lies
Thankfully, with this now biologically explained, that denial or “huge lies” can end and we can bring about a new world for humans FREE of the agony of the human condition as FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does this understanding solve everything’ explains.Jeremy’s books and essays are being translated into many languages around the world, thanks to wonderful efforts from the WTM’s ever-expanding global network of support. Unfortunately we don’t yet have any Arabic translations but our Translations page shows all the languages that are available. Also people can watch THE Interview (and all the videos on our website) using the closed captions or subtitles function in their native language. The subtitles icon ‘cc’ is at the bottom of the video player, and you can choose languages using the ‘cog’ setting next to it.Wow. It all makes sense
Best news I heard. We got to get on top of this. So many people have no idea. Collectively we can change the world. And this sounds like a good start. Peace love and happiness to you your family and everyone around you. I’m excited to hear this news and looking forward to doing anything that will help the situation. Peace
I don’t want to hear anything about science that’s human not of God
Would love a copy of your book on line. I find your presentations/interview interesting & most amazing. Thank you so,so much
Let’s hear it!
This has been eye opening and makes so much sense, I want to understand more and I can’t wait to share it to everyone I know who is willing to understand and take in this knowy
I really hope this interview entails what is applicable to real world scenarios
Thank you, thank you, thank you......
It’s called patriarchy
I just want to listen more and understand more
Enjoyed it..
Very interesting. I have shared the video.
It’s not a human condition. God, our creator gave us free will and self will. He gave us a choice to follow him or blaze our own trail. So, what did free will say? I’ll bet it’s the same thing self will said..
Very deep, but very enjoyable. I have passed the website link onto others.
This discussion is worth sharing.
Felt this other person inside me most my life
Yes, we have had to live a very shallow existence while we couldn’t explain the human condition - we had to ‘resign’ ourselves to a life of just seeking reinforcement, denying the existence of our real self. There was this massive metaphorical elephant in the room, our extremely alienated condition, that no one was confronting or admitting.”Thankfully, that can now all end. We finally have the explanation that allows us to truly heal and re-unite with our original, all-sensitive, all-loving soul. This is more than just enlightenment
Watch this eye opening documentary.
This is so profound in its ability to provide a complete explanation of what’s happened to us humans, and the good reason why we are the way we are. Our psychological insecurity is explained, human origins revealed, and our lives transformed with first principle based biological information. Incredible!
I want to join the group
That’s great Alphonso, we hope you pursue your interest and get involved! After people have watched THE Interview (which is the ideal introduction to Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition), we recommend going to the top of our World Transformation Movement homepage at HumanCondition.com, where it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ and guides you through the steps to pursue your interest. This includes subscribing to our mailing list where you will receive one email per week and occasional News Flashes. We also encourage people to join our Facebook Group to learn more about this amazing, human-condition-resolved new world.
Wunderschön und hoffnungsvoll [Beautiful and hopeful (Tr. from German)]
Very incredible
Very interesting and helpful information, thanks so much
Mr Griffith’s concept is clear enough.
We can now also explain the Cain and Abel story as representing how the advent of agriculture and the domestication of animals led to a rapid increase in upset (which you can read more about in paragraph 906 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM.Ultimately, we suggest that the more you digest the explanation, the more you will see that even though it is a rational, biological account, it actually encompasses the ‘spiritual’ element of life. We thought you might find our FAQs about religion of interest, in particular FAQ 6.7 ‘How can a scientific explanation ever hope to account for and encompass the great ‘spiritual’ dimension we know exists in life? / Isn’t ‘spirituality’ beyond a purely rational explanation?’’Wow! This is a mind-blowing, thought-provoking and spiritually uplifting piece of work.
I agree
What I have always thought
Thanks a lot for information of human kind, can’t wait to hear more of our nature.
🙏🙏❤️
This presentation of the human condition is in line with my thought and experience. The existential leap. One must forsake the easy out of the instinct explanation and embrace the moral/ cooperative. There is an internal necesssity for the moral cooperative stance which is outside of and beyond religious dogma and institutional hierarchy. Consciousness requires honest communication not dogma.
Thank you for the knowledge please continue the good doing for us understand further why humans had so much PRIDE & too much GREEDINESS in there heart 🥺🥺🥺
This puts many of my thoughts into understandable explanation
MIND BLOWING
Thank you.. ❤️ 😊
I love this It aligns with how I’ve always thought but with real concrete answers as to what the problem is Before this I always explained history as an explanation and PROOF of action vs reaction Examples of doing good vs wrong I’m grateful humanity has someone who has dissected real reasons via science My biggest concern even above greed are children getting taken and abused and the whole world doesn’t fight like mankind has always fought slavery So my go to such highly intellectual response is usually about that subject Questions such as “with your intelligence why isn’t saving children your top priority” But I will refrain from that topic because this information will eventually reach that side of humanity Thank you for sharing this freely Thank you for covering as many angles as you did I’m so grateful for you
Hi Lyndse, thank you very much for your considered and appreciative comment.
Amazing life-transforming piece for Humanity
Im addicted. Ive listened over and over. I am overwhelmed by the NEED to speak about this. I have made it a point to basically harass my circle.
Can’t wait so happy I heard this !! 🤩🤩🤩
I will love to hear it
This is interesting, however, following Christ clearly already defines the human condition you speak of. The Word explains everything.
Wonderful insightful and well presented, I’d love to have a one to one with the professor to see if he can explain me !!! Help please love and blessings 🙏🙏🙏🍀
I am starting to read the book today.
Hi. What is the price for these? Also in American or Canadian dollars. Thank You
World Transformation Movement is a not-for-profit organisation and THE Interview, along with all Jeremy Griffith’s books, are completely free and immediately available HERE on our website, no registration required.
Awesome!
Need to understand
Great to have your interest Abraham! The best place to start is to watch THE Interview, in which Jeremy Griffith presents his breakthrough ‘instinct v intellect’ explanation of the human condition. (It is totally free to watch or read at the top of the World Transformation Movement homepage.).Part 1 of this interview presents the explanation as quickly and simply as possible and FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept. Happy exploring Abraham!
Above the level.....
Wow this interview is everything. I have reached a new understanding and relationship with myself and others after watching this amazing interview multiple times. Thank you
For two million years the human race has been living in a disassociate state of denial and so many people are coming out of disassociation since childhood to love the world 🌎🌍
Yes Hanna as Jeremy Griffith explains all humans are born with loving, cooperative instincts but we all now variously suffer from a psychosis due to the unavoidable clash between these instincts and our emerging conscious mind which began approximately 2 million years ago.
Really benefitted from the revaluation, questions answered
Looking forward to hearing all the information. Thank you

Hi Filomena, there are indeed many books to read on this topic! The WTM is a not-for-profit that makes all of its resources available free of charge, so you can access all of Jeremy Griffith’s books for free on our website on the page that lists his catalogue of publications, all in electronic form to read, listen to or download: Jeremy Griffith’s Books & Other Presentations. We recommend three publications in particular to begin your journey: THE Interview, and then its two expansions, The Human Condition and FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition. If you are particularly after a hardcopy of any of Jeremy’s books they are available to purchase from Amazon and other good bookstores.
Are you telling me that , primitive man didn’t grab said woman by the hair and drag her into a cave to rape her, didn’t happen?
SUPER interested in what I call a Break Through in concealed knowledge or whatever, I want to know more please...

Its philosophy and understanding of the human condition make a lot of sense to me. Look forward to buying the book.
I bought into the human condition suffering. I look forward to being free.
So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is summarised in FAQ 1.4.
Extremely brilliant presentation. I’m sure the tree of knowledge should have been called the tree of EGO, because without EGO there would be no hate racism or greed and everyone would realise we are all equal and all on the same path
Love it ❤️
