Am very interested & eager to learn and obtain a position of greater understanding that “FREEDOM” is a necessity within the intellectual being of the “HUMAN RACE” 🤜🤛✌️🌏🌎🌍

After such a big build up, I thought, so what’s he trying to tell us?
That he’s written a book about us humans compared with animals.
I listened until I became bored and fell asleep.

I immediately began sharing this with those who are like me thank you so much.

Interested to learn more about humanity.

Causality is the foundational basis of rational inquiry with no exceptions.
To see a well known fact about the human emotion corroborated by research in biology is quite heartening.
Anger management is sadly lacking at the national leadership level is well known.
I wish you all the best. You are doing a great job at this critical moment in human history.

Beautifully explained by this good man from down under. This man is speaking religiously because remember not a leaf falls from a tree somewhere in the without God knowing about it. Our Lord can tell you how many drops of water there are in the ocean. How many hairs there are in a cat, God is the beginning and the end,he knew us before we were born and he knows when we will die and how and why we die and what will become of us after our death. So this good man Mr. J. Griffith is correct when he says that we are not evil God is just testing us and if you pass the test you will be rewarded. So don’t worry be happy for God is a forgiving and merciful Father and we are all his children.

Thank you for you for your lovely comment, Jose. All we would add is that while Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, it does bring biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. Our FAQs about religion include FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ and FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.
Rebecca Darden
This is something that is not new, harken back to matriarchal society.
WTM Admin
Certainly humanity has been matriarchal during its history, however what is being proposed here is not simply a return to that state. What is explained in chapter 8:11B of FREEDOM is that humanity necessarily became patriarchal when the priority became defeating the threat of ignorance from our instinctive self against our conscious mind. However, through explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us at last to become genuinely gender neutral. It’s a great idea but a little too late for the world and the human race. yes we are living in end times and only prayer faith and divine intervention can save us now. We are human species not animal species. We are all unique and must love our neighbours. Look after each other and teach love and we will see this place you talk about. Sounds like heaven.
WTM Admin
Hi Bernadette, it certainly is the 11th hour, but as Jeremy Griffith explains, once this breakthrough explanation takes off, it will turn that dire situation around, and very quickly, see FAQ 1.6. We also recommend reading Jeremy’s Freedom Essays 55-58 as they focus on this issue of ‘Do we fail or do we make it?’. These essays present a fearlessly honest analysis of the state of the world followed by how the extraordinary transforming power of this understanding can bring real peace to ourselves and neighbours, and save the world. And in fact, what people discover as they digest this information is that it actually represents the fulfilment of a time that all the great faiths looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves, defend our ‘dark side’, and thus bring about the loving world that we have all longed for; a “heaven” on Earth if you like! Jeremy’s work simply brings biological understanding to religion’s pre-scientific descriptions of our human condition (see our FAQs about religion).

This is truly amazing! Once you understand it you see it in everything around you and it has the power to change the world, because in each and everyone of us there is that feeling and intuition that can´t be denied. So, it’s a part of us as a person and as a collectivity. And, as it is in everyone, we can all be saved.

The human race is vastly overpopulated adoption should be the priority of a majority of people that is all I have to say
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith’s work explains that issues such as overpopulation; environmental destruction; resource depletion; the turmoil and conflict between races, countries, religions; material inequality; and depression are merely symptoms of a deeper problem and will not fundamentally change at all until we solve this dilemma of the human condition—our capacity for ‘good’ and ‘evil’—and bring self-understanding to the human situation. This interview provides the ideal summary presentation to watch and we also recommmend FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’

The premise of your theory is incorrect. Humans did not evolve from bonobos or anything else. We were created a little over 6,500 years ago. We were made a little higher than the animals and a little lower than the angels. Our fallen nature is a spiritual problem, not a psychological one and requires a spiritual solution. I suggest you seek out the Messiah.

I have not as yet, listened to the full interview ,but already understand the direction that we must go to achieve the goals. I understand that as humans, we do not like change as this can make us feel exposed and vulnerable. My concern is how do we convert people who will dismiss any findings or facts and continue to think in the same way. Hope there is a way in which we can help these people. Hope someone has the answer.
WTM Admin
Keep listening Ken as Part 4 of THE Interview, titled ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’, does present the answer to how this understanding allows us to transform our lives. It explains that it will take a number of generations for the upset within us to be completely healed but it also stresses importantly we can be immediately free of its effects. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is summarised in FAQ 1.5 and FAQ 1.40 addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

Freedom is thee greatest book ever written. It’s profound beyond words. It has healed me in ways nothing else has. We can be free if we want to - through the understanding of The Human Condition - and I thank Jeremy for having the will, strength and resilience to share his breakthrough understanding with the world.
Hanane
I agree with you , just to add to all this / the human condition I believe is polluted by the historical trauma and the accumulation of stored painful informations stored in the subconscious.it’s true it’s a stored fair and pain humans had inherited without transforming nor restoring and removing this full set of believes and ideas…
I been working on this topic all my life. I have a lot to share about it with everyone. It’s also true a self thought and a organic discovery that I came to understand their my own personal experiences. Thanks again for bringing this topic to light. For people to reprogram there brains and end the suffering off humanity.
WTM Admin
It is true that upset ‘accumulates’ in the sense that someone born into a world that is already upset, will be traumatised and psychologically upset by that ‘historical’ upset, and then in turn pass that upset on to the next generation and so on. So the accumulation of upset is a compounding situation. You might be interested in FAQ 1.37 ‘How much of our upset is caused by our own search for knowledge and how much is caused by the accumulated upset already in the world?’ And it is also true that we have been living with the upset state of the human condition for so long that the human race is now highly adapted to upset, but that doesn’t mean that with understanding of the human condition now found we won’t be able to live free of upset, see FAQ 1.5. And finally, you might also find FAQ 1.30 ‘Is upset so engrained in our DNA now that we’ll never be free of it?’ most interesting.

Somebody in your ad said that all natural problems are caused by the human condition.
In other words the humans are the only problem and we are all acting against nature.
I ask you this: Since when are humans not natural?
If you do not believe in evolution: Why would all the plants and animals god created be natural, but not humans?
And if you do believe in evolution: At what point exactly did we depart from nature?
WTM Admin
What we’ve said in our advertising is that all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by humans’ psychological upset which is the result of the human condition. For a nutshell explanation see FAQ 1.3.

Life is much simpler than we are told, because the interests of the powerful have turned the earth into hell. If we don’t love the earth how can we live on mars? If we don’t love ourselves how can we love others? Thank you for the love imparted.
WTM Admin
Thank Paulo for your thoughts. The question screaming to be answered is WHY when the universal ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish—such that we seek to dominate others and are unable to love ourselves, others and our world? It is this eternal question of the human condition that Jeremy Griffith has answered and why his work is heralded as the great breakthrough that can save the world—see FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’

That conscious thought is the root, not of evil but, of a heroic quest for knowledge.
The clash of our instinctive nature with our consciously developed intelligence leading to inner turmoil.
Understanding this quest for consciousness and the knowledge it brings is the noblest of causes.
Realising the negative connotations of the human condition have been collateral damage in the pursuit of this noble cause.
And now standing at the crossroads, one path leading to a golden age and one to obliteration, we have a choice to make.
Love and cooperation or selfish and competitive.
WTM Admin
Great to have your interest Ryan. Yes at last Jeremy Griffith explains WHY this clash between our instincts and intellect occurred and how that unavoidably produced our divisive, competitive and aggressive human condition. Being able to understand the nature of this clash at last brings peace to our divided selves and, as you say, we can decide to not live out all our selfishness. Now our upset state is explained and defended, we can safely stop denying the human condition in ourselves and the world and bring love or forgiveness to our dark side because we can understand that becoming upset was an immensely heroic state, not a shameful one. To quote Jeremy from Part 4 of this interview: “the good news, and this is very important, is that while it will take a number of generations to heal all the upset in us humans, everyone can immediately live free of their upset…In fact, to continue using the old artificial defences of retaliation, denial and the search for relieving power, fame, fortune and glory when our fundamental goodness has been established is not only clearly pointless but also unnecessarily destructive of ourselves, everyone around us and our planet. That way of living is now completely obsoleted, finished with.” And as Craig Conway then summed it up “our artificial ways of reinforcing ourselves are obsoleted by the real reinforcement of ourselves. One way of living ends, a new one begins, free of the human condition—phew, thank God for that!!”

My opinion: A combination of theories and phylosophies from the past 4000 years that only leads to another theory. Nothing really substantial when you base a phylosophy on a theory.

Natália Kravčuková
The theory is based on error. We are not from animals. The reason why animals behave unlovingly is because they reflect our condition. Human kind is the highest of Gods creation but we got into this current unloving condition because we have chosen to be self-reliant instead of God-reliant. Adam and Eve were not heroes. They made a big mistake. Everyone of us can correct it if we choose to go back to God. If we ask for Divine Love. No need for religion.
Roger Hand
I totally agree with you. Mr. Griffith said that there was harmony before the fall. What started all this enmity in the human race was when the human race decided to choose love and knowledge without God their createor. History proves itself time and time again that Love and knowledge and Love without God brings enmity and turmoil in the human race. How we return to that true Love and harmony is return to the one who is love himself for this is how we know how to truly love. Knowledge is not bad, but wisdom which is knowing how to use that knowledge should be our ultimate goal and this comes through having standards that guide us into wisdom. That standard is Gods word which is knowledge that guides us into harmony and love not enmity and turmoil.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comments Natália and Roger. We certainly respect people’s religious views and feel it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life. (Our FAQs about religion include FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ and FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.) The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.

I’m amazed that this is being so touted as history and philosophy Have expounded on these ideas for thousands of years as far back as the ancient Greeks. Religious beliefs have alsoHad profound revelations but are often corrupted to become vehicles of power and control. Tribal life is a great case study and has also been an invaluable trove of information. thanks..
WTM Admin
While thinkers throughout history have touched on elements of the human condition in their thinking, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.

Extraordinarily interesting interview. To get a grip on what is being said, one would need to have an open mind. Unfortunately those who are self satisfied with their lot are in a totally different mind set. In other words they are not in the same conflict, obviously so they do not feel the need to listen and understand. In fact it is disturbing to them to realise that someone in their family grew up in a totally confused state.
A large amount have people have grown up with this confusion, and thus in conflict a lot of the time.
Sorry too long winded. Never mind, I am not going to delete it.
I do find this very interesting 🤔
WTM Admin
Thank you for your appreciative comment Helen, and it is wonderful to see how interesting you are finding this explanation of the human condition. We just wanted to draw your attention to the ‘ship at sea’ position Jeremy talks about which you may or may not relate to. Freedom Essay 30 titled Resignation explains that some adolescents refuse to properly resign and take up the strategy of denial of the issue of the human condition that almost everybody else does. They courageously keep facing it, refuse to ‘pull into a port’, as it were, and escape the storms of confrontation with the real horror of the human condition, which does produce an honest, although torturous existence.
Abigail Callinan
Thank you.

How do u describe an evil mother as a heroe?
WTM Admin
The human condition has caused so much pain and trauma it is almost unimaginable. It can be very difficult to absorb, but we suggest that in time you will see that all the terrible aspects of humanity have actually been a result of the human condition – we can now understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We can at last understand the source of our upset and bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and, most significantly, we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us — see FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’.
Alan Creswell
Quite brilliant but I fear too late. I can only hope a reversal of all our detrimental behaviours is possible for us as a species and this Planet we inhabit. I’ve a feeling it’s completely pissed off with our “Bullshit”.
WTM Admin
Don’t despair Alan. While this necessarily has a slow start, humanity’s uptake of the explanation of the human condition has a fast finish as the selflessness it liberates in people will not only quickly solve all the problems on the planet, including teaching other people about this redeeming information, but the excitement and joy it brings means everyone will want to get on board as quickly as they can (see FAQ 1.5)! As Jeremy Griffith explains in his book FREEDOMchapter 9:9: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’”
Miki
I’d really be interested in watching this another time..
WTM Admin
Yes, while the fundamental explanation is very simple, it does open up the historically off-limits subject of the human condition, so it does take time to fully absorb. We recommend repeated viewings Miki!

Great life’s read!
Hazel
Eye opening and insightful. I fully understand most scientist discount the existence and authority of a creative God and your presentation is no exeception. I thoroughly agree with your assertion that mankind is a morally concious being. I agree that our divisive nature is not due to “animalistic” behavior, but is caused by our seperation from the loving God who created us in His image. Thank you for providing insight and understanding of the human condition and our need for “rehabilitation”.
WTM Admin
Thank you very much for your consideration Hazel. The human condition is the study of humans’ capacity for so-called ‘good and evil’ and is therefore the realm of inquiry where science and religion overlap, so in explaining the human condition religion is demystified and explained. Jeremy Griffith’s treatise actually reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. It also needs to be said that although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being briefly explained in THE Interview as being the integrative meaning of existence (see our FAQs about religion especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’).
Jose Antonio Villar Oyarzabal
[Translated from Spanish: It is a point of view that integrates rational religion with rational science, but it cannot be said to be “new”, because that proposal was already presented in the mid-nineteenth century according to documentation still accessible, although it was hidden and discredited by the “officiality” of that time. Hopefully now it will be better received and not outlawed as before.]
WTM Admin
What is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s understanding of the human condition is that he has biologically answered the essential question of why, when the ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish? See FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’
sjaklien
well even it was a very long interview to there was not so much new information..I did learn at school about the human evolution and that having a conscience made us humans and different from instinctively behavior..also that religions (they all seem related with overarching standards) manipulated humans with the moral good&bad/heaven&hell and created guilt feelings that got even into community rules by society and our constitution..I don’t think that with understanding and giving us credit for our human being on this planet this egocentric self-centered behavior will change, because this is ..the world is in such a bad state; nature is polluted, animals are abused and exploit, we humans not care and do not see suffering when it comes to beneficial courses and surviving..all living species care for their offsprings and suffer by lost, I think we underestimate the power of nature and the animals in it..true we loose respect for it and our goals are manipulated by media and politics even how to dress or build your house..so I assume the problem lays there who has the power to brainwash..also the one who can do that, need a psychical state of narcisme and psychopath and as you can see the world is ruled by just some figures like that..your sayings are a nice effort but hopeless as long humans are not able to think for themselves and follow the mass..unfortunately most humans are not using their brain or again just for their own selfishness goals.

Very well structured and beautifully abstract at the coinciding time of concept reception and natural though pattern analysis are intertwined into existence.

Thank you so much Jeremy,
I am a 42 year old Architect in England and have centred my working life upon Re-imagining Heritage buildings for future generations to enjoy. I now believe I know why this has been my calling.
Your lecture struck an accord with me and has helped me explain my internal dichotomy between the values established through my Roman Catholic upbringing and my critical-thinking mind and professional career.
My drive, from the age of thirteen, was to enable others to see:
To see purpose,
To see reason,
And to see greater meaning.
My parents instilled in me the importance of longevity, “to plant the acorns from which the shade my great grandchildren will enjoy.”
At university I studied complexity theory, fractal algorithms and universal constants. Always searching for the greatest meaning and simplest explanation for ‘human purpose’.
I guess, having just noticing how many comments you have below and, whilst I have several questions I would like to discuss, I’m sure you will be too busy and so I shall simply say “thank you”.
With sincere thanks,
Giles Shorter

Deborah
This supports the Biblical view of being separated from God via a fallen condition and being reconciled through our recognition of the separation and then our reunion with the higher power that enables the good in us to manifest.
My one question is how did we become conscious knowledge seeking beings biologically?
WTM Admin
Thanks for your question, Deborah. In Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains how we became fully conscious which developed as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process. He also refers the viewer to Chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation — a summary of which is in FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’.
And yes, Jeremy’s treatise does bring new insight to the story of Adam and Eve, clarifying that while in the pre-scientific story Adam and Eve were portrayed as ‘bad’ or even ‘evil’ to take the fruit of knowledge, and treated as ‘sinful’, we can now understand that humans were ‘good’, even heroic, to search for knowledge, even though it caused us to become psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated sufferers of the human condition. As Jeremy says in Part 1 of THE Interview, “‘No, no, that story got it wrong’. Adam and Eve are actually not just good but the heroes of the whole story of life on Earth.” What science can now add to that pre-scientific description of the human condition is that our instincts in effect criticised the emerging conscious mind’s search for knowledge, but importantly, we can now understand that the conscious mind was right, or ‘good’ to defy our instinctive self in order to fulfil its great potential to manage life. While religious assurances, such as ‘God loves you’ in Christianity, provided comfort, they failed to explain WHY we are lovable, and it is that missing explanation that this breakthrough provides.

Yes, Garland, it will, because this information is for everyone; it is the breakthrough that every human has been striving for since the emergence of consciousness, and it redeems and rehabilitates every single human on the planet. This is because all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by us humans. We are the ones who are egocentric, selfish, greedy, materialistic, fake, angry as hell. And so it’s that underlying issue — our destructively behaved, so-called human condition — that really has to be addressed and fixed if our species and our world are to survive. Only the psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real explanation of the human condition can stop the destruction of our world and the disintegration of society that is happening everywhere we look—and it is precisely this real psychologically redeeming, relieving and transforming explanation that biologist Jeremy Griffith has delivered in this instinct vs intellect understanding of the human condition. See FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solves everything’.
And if you haven’t read it already, we thought you would find psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s response to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis?’ helpful — see FAQ 1.34 — and also FAQ 1.35 on ‘Does this heal anxiety?’ What is explained in those FAQs is that what is so significant about Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is that we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We can at last understand the source of our upset and bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and, most significantly, we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us — see FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’.

Thanks for the book, all my life I have been looking for answers in my head, to my behavior. Thank you for this profound research!!!

When a lion kills another to gain access to the females in a pride, is that selfish or is that instinct? When a chimp group kills a lone stray that roams into its territory, is that murderous intent because of a fallen nature that needs fixing or killer instinct?
Sure humans have free will and are less instinctual beings, but to claim we can achieve universal kindness by acknowledging the discovery of our brokenness “blessing,” is far fetched.
If you ignore the “negative” nature of human behavior, you will all become slaves of others who don’t think like you do, because they will think nothing about the passive nature of your proposal, but instead, roll right over you.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your questions, Alton. The scenarios you mention are instinctual. What is explained in THE Interview is that our selfish and aggressive behaviour is not instinctual but psychologically derived. It is further explained that our ancestors were completely loving and cooperative, which means that our instincts are completely loving and cooperative. When we behave competitively or aggressively, unlike lions or chimps, it is not because of ‘savage instincts’ as has commonly been taught (see Part 2 of THE Interview), but because we are psychologically upset because of the instinct vs intellect clash.
The ‘negative’ side of human nature is not being ignored, it is just that its source is being explained honestly for the first time. And the wonderful thing is that that explanation turns out to be redeeming; we can now understand that all that competitive, aggressive, even destructive, behaviour was an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. This understanding defends our so-called ‘dark side’; and by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to return to a loving state.
You might be interested in FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

Enjoying the discussion. The separation is an illusion. We are the trees, the stars etc. the human condition is fear and love.
A wu Wei. We learn through story. All of nature is us. Thank you for sharing

Totally makes sense awakening who we really are again healing us mentally so we can return to fundamental goodness n a loving community

How releaving is that? It makes me feel good , and I am just minutes from the biginning of the intervew, sorry guys I am a portugese speaker.

Great stuff, makes so much sense.
I always wondered if we were a mix of chimps and Bonobos but seemed like some people are more Bonobo and some more nasty/aggressive like chimps (i.e. the less evolved).
WTM Admin
Yes, while we couldn’t admit that our selfish, aggressive behaviour was psychological in origin (because we couldn’t admit we were corrupt until we could defend it, which this understanding does), we have had to come up with all sorts of theories to account for our good and evil stricken condition, and one of those is that we had an ancestor that was half bonobo, half chimpanzee, and that our good instincts therefore come from the bonobo part, and our ‘bad’ or selfish instincts from the chimpanzee half. But as is explained in Part 2 of THE Interview, the idea that we are selfish because we have ‘savage instincts’ is just an excuse we have had to use until we had the real defence for our condition. We can now see that our ancestors were completely loving and cooperative (a state that the bonobos are approaching), and that our selfish behaviour is a result of our psychologically upset state which resulted from the instinct vs intellect clash.
Gladys I Smith
With this interview I do not understand how the explanation tells you about the human condition that could save the world
WTM Admin
Hi Gladys, Thanks for your question. It does take a little time to fully absorb the significance of finally being able to explain the human condition. What it means is we now have the ability, for the first time, to understand every aspect of human behaviour and our behaviour will change naturally as a result. At last we can understand we have been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because at last we have the first principle-based science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. This is the rapidly transforming practical effect of being able to understand the human condition which is fully explained and illustrated on our Transformation page. Also FAQs 1.4 to 1.6 explain the far-reaching application of this information and Freedom Essay 15 is all about ‘How our lives can be immediately transformed’. We’d especially recommend you join our Facebook Group and register for our live events with Jeremy Griffith as there is so much helpful discussion taking place there about how this immensely redeeming and relieving knowledge transforms our lives!

Humans being rational, having conscience and having free will?! No, really?! The Catholic Church is teaching it forever and the science is just now caching up with it. Finally.
WTM Admin
We agree that religions contained extraordinary truth about human life, and could provide humanity with incredible guidance, comfort and love under the duress of the human condition but ultimately to resolve and liberate ourselves from our conflicted human condition we needed to find the scientific explanation for WHY when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. We recommend reading our FAQs about religion.

Kyle Johnson
This concept is very interesting although I must be missing something. I’m not having the “a-ha moment” that many commenters here are currently experiencing. Perhaps those who are finding this to be life-changing information must be the same who at an early age were conditioned to believe the dogma that the human race are born as sinners. Perhaps those who were not programmed in the way Mr. Griffith is sort of suggesting that the entire planet has been mentally programmed—and I mean that there is something “wrong” with us as humans and that we’re “bad”—won’t find the relief in this message that the ones who were taught to believe that will. I’m not suggesting that I am free of the psychosis that the rest of the world suffers from—to the contrary, I am just as much suffering from inner turmoil and my self-perpetuating mental and emotional disorders (likely driven by (or at least initiated by) the collective societal disorders) I never completely bought into the idea that I was wrong for having and following my instincts or, conversely, that I was wrong for going my own way and going after the banana on the island off the migratory course, as it were. Solving “the human condition” and ridding the world of the anger from the lack of ability for (self) introspection and the subconscious (and conscious) cognitive dissonance we may suffer from in varying degrees as a result to the point we are transformed and then suddenly prepared to usher in the higher state of consciousness that the world needs in order to survive by just stating “hey, we (humans) are not bad after all!” seems to be lacking the substantial elements I believe would be necessary to support such a colossal effort. Or—again—I must be missing something! Please, tell me what I am missing! I’m dying to feel enlightened! Somehow I think this comment will be tossed out for I am not shouting “hallelujah!” or “eureka!” and immediately claiming to be healed! But I can only say what I truly feel.
Timothy Richards Laurence
Kyle Johnson has expressed almost precisely my own reactions to this initial one-hour interview with the biologist Jeremy Griffiths. I too was left with the impression that the interview lacked any depth or probing into the theories put before the viewer. Indeed, I found this interview contrived and suspected that the interviewer was reading from a script that had been written by Mr. Griffith. The ecstatic reaction of the interviewer and his perfect encapsulation of each answer before moving to his next question gave me pause as did the entire lack of awareness as to precisely how this massive shift in the universal thinking of all humankind would take root within some seven billion-plus individual Homo sapiens from hundreds of different cultures, races, belief systems, intellects, theologies, philosophies as well as social and economic environments. Mr. Griffith’s estimate that consciousness or self-awareness began some two million years ago goes against most scientific evidence concerning the first appearance of Homo-erectus, Neanderthal and early modern man (approximately 400,000 to 500,000 years ago) and that it has only been within the past 200,000 years that humans such as we are today first appear in the fossil record. Mr. Johnson has expressed his quandaries most eloquently and respectfully. There certainly was no major, breathtaking epiphany within me. Like Mr. Johnson, my initial reaction had me questioning my own intellectual ability to comprehend what I was hearing. However, after pondering this one-hour ‘interview’ for a few minutes, I concluded that there was sufficient proof in my years of formal education and the subsequent employment of my wits in establishing a successful livelihood that I came to the conclusion that, if nothing else, Mr. Griffith might have sought a more convincing prelude to the promotion of his theories regarding the true path to the Correction of the Human Condition.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment, Timothy. In addition to the points that were made in response to Kyle, namely how finally getting to the bottom of the human condition impacts every human on the planet, and the ‘deaf effect’ that hearing about the human condition can cause due to our historic fear of the subject, we would just like to address the issue of the emergence of consciousness.
The fossil record shows that a relatively sudden increase in brain volume necessary to house a rapidly expanded association cortex occurred some 2 million years ago (the association cortex is where the association of information necessary for thinking takes place). In recognition of this profound change, the name of our ancestors was, at that point in human evolution, changed by anthropologists from Australopithecus to Homo.
You might be interested to read more about the emergence of consciousness in chapter 7 of FREEDOM, and we would point you to chapter 8 as well, which charts the stages that our conscious mind progressed through with reference to the fossil record.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment, Kyle. The more you digest this understanding, we suggest the more you will see how it brings profound peace to everyone’s situation, not just those who have been brought up “conditioned to believe the dogma that the human race are born as sinners”. What is so important about Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition, and why it applies to everyone, is that it finally explains the real reason for why humans’ selfish, competitive and destructive behaviour became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. And with our goodness biologically established, we no longer need to be preoccupied with proving our worth. Solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source so we can actually stop the angry destruction of ourselves and the planet and save the world—which is why it is receiving positive comments, but we certainly do publish comments that question or criticise this understanding.
You may be interested in FAQ 1.34, in which the highly respected psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, wrote: “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from…It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”
Finally, Jeremy’s work presents a new paradigm that dares to confront the historically off-limits subject of the human condition so it is common people initially struggle to ‘hear’ what is being explained, so we also recommend reading FAQ 1.16 ‘Why can’t I understand this?’

Maternal Love can also be selective if there is more than 1 sibling....If a child isn’t going to fit the “norms/expectations” of a mother then she can take the “Unconditional Love” and focus it more intensely onto the other children and the child that once got “unconditional love”, consciously or not, realised that their “safety blanket” of “unconditionality” had been almost entirely removed thus they had to search for other women to replace the “unconditional love” they so desperately craved!! To justify this change in behaviour towards the child, the Mother began branding the young child as “bad, strange, uncontrollable and ”not normal“...but, in reality, if the Mother had given the child the same unconditional love she gave the other Siblings then this behaviour would very likely not have occurred!! This behaviour from the Mother continues to this day but the child is 40+ yrs older but her ”UnMaternal Love" damaged that child into maturity still being branded and alienated, by not just her but by the entire extended family, driving that human being into decades of mental illhealth and under the care of Psychiatry and Medication ranging from MoodStabulisers and Antidepressants and Tranquilisers, but the Mother shows no remorse or obvious guilt so It is possible for a Mother to not be unconditional Maternally if she so desires....This Mother shows Narcissistic Tendancies and is no longer part of that Childs life but the damage caused, on so many levels over the Decades, is being healed and this child has taken strength from this hour with Jeremy Griffiths and I am blessed that I listened to this man as it gave me hope for the future!! Many thanks.
WTM Admin
Hi Stewart, thank you very much for your comment. Yes, the human condition has caused so much pain and trauma it is almost unimaginable. If you haven’t read it already, we thought you would find psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s response to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis?’ helpful — see FAQ 1.34 — and also FAQ 1.35 on ‘Does this heal anxiety?’ What is explained in those FAQs is that what is so significant about Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is that we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established.
And with regard to nurturing, we can now understand it has been humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge that has compromised our ability to nurture and now that preoccupation ends we can safely acknowledge the absolute importance of nurturing in the development of children – see chapter 8:16C of FREEDOM on ‘The dire consequences of terminal levels of alienation destroying our ability to nurture our children’. So indeed our ability to heal depended on deeply knowing ourselves by having this core mystery of our contradictory behaviour biologically understood.

Pillalamarri Jagam
This is something that is not new, harken back to matriarchal society.
You might be interested in FAQ 8.1 How does the explanation of the human condition reconcile men and women?
I enjoyed the interview, and want to see more discussion. It was quite eye opening.
Why is this not on 60 minutes or where more people be able to know this!!
❤️❤️🥰
It’s a great idea but a little too late for the world and the human race. yes we are living in end times and only prayer faith and divine intervention can save us now. We are human species not animal species. We are all unique and must love our neighbours. Look after each other and teach love and we will see this place you talk about. Sounds like heaven.
Amazing, Clear and concise neutral information respectful of All our humanity irregardless of our cultural and religious differences. Beautifully described! Thank you, Jeannine Brousseau
Interesting facts about human condition and why we behave the way we behave.
You’ve got it
Amazing, this could help save our world which is so full of hatred and greed
This is truly amazing! Once you understand it you see it in everything around you and it has the power to change the world, because in each and everyone of us there is that feeling and intuition that can´t be denied. So, it’s a part of us as a person and as a collectivity. And, as it is in everyone, we can all be saved.
Εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρον για την αυτεπιγνωση. Απαρετητη προϋπόθεση για τη λύση προβλημάτων ατομικών κοινωνικών και συλλογικών [Extremely intriguing for self-awareness. An indispensable prerequisite for solving individual social and collective problems (translated from Greek)].
This is great
I fell asleep about 4 min in
The human race is vastly overpopulated adoption should be the priority of a majority of people that is all I have to say
Interesting.
Thank you for sharing this information
Thanks for sharing deep informative life facts.
As prophesised, King Arthur has returned to save us in our hour of need (talked about in paragraph 1036 of Griffith’s book Freedom).
Brilliant
Finally the truth arrives, Thank you so much
Religion and Science finally connected. God maketh man (and everything on Earth). Integration of Matter made man (and everything on Earth). What a read! “Freedom” by Jeremy Griffith
Qustions along with satisfactions in peace.
Look forward to reading the book.

Excellent
Completely agree 100%. Thank you. Power to the people💚
Freedom is thee greatest book ever written. It’s profound beyond words. It has healed me in ways nothing else has. We can be free if we want to - through the understanding of The Human Condition - and I thank Jeremy for having the will, strength and resilience to share his breakthrough understanding with the world.
I agree with you , just to add to all this / the human condition I believe is polluted by the historical trauma and the accumulation of stored painful informations stored in the subconscious.it’s true it’s a stored fair and pain humans had inherited without transforming nor restoring and removing this full set of believes and ideas… I been working on this topic all my life. I have a lot to share about it with everyone. It’s also true a self thought and a organic discovery that I came to understand their my own personal experiences. Thanks again for bringing this topic to light. For people to reprogram there brains and end the suffering off humanity.
If this interview is anything to go by, then there is hope for peace, harmony, love and justice. I wish to read the book. Thanks
Advice teaching more and ever more
Maybe a copy of this book should be sent to World leaders
I am very excited to be a part of this new world movement.
What we’ve said in our advertising is that all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by humans’ psychological upset which is the result of the human condition. For a nutshell explanation see FAQ 1.3.
Life is much simpler than we are told, because the interests of the powerful have turned the earth into hell. If we don’t love the earth how can we live on mars? If we don’t love ourselves how can we love others? Thank you for the love imparted.
Very interesting need to know more and digest. Thank you
Amazing
That conscious thought is the root, not of evil but, of a heroic quest for knowledge. The clash of our instinctive nature with our consciously developed intelligence leading to inner turmoil. Understanding this quest for consciousness and the knowledge it brings is the noblest of causes. Realising the negative connotations of the human condition have been collateral damage in the pursuit of this noble cause. And now standing at the crossroads, one path leading to a golden age and one to obliteration, we have a choice to make. Love and cooperation or selfish and competitive.
Good subject and important lessons.
Very interesting. Thanks
Looking forward to actively listening, participating & being involved... 💯🤝🤜🤛
My opinion: A combination of theories and phylosophies from the past 4000 years that only leads to another theory. Nothing really substantial when you base a phylosophy on a theory.

Having known all of this deep down it makes much more sense now. 👍
Yes I undertand
That blows my mind I only listened to the 1st part so far
Very interested.
I’m amazed that this is being so touted as history and philosophy Have expounded on these ideas for thousands of years as far back as the ancient Greeks. Religious beliefs have alsoHad profound revelations but are often corrupted to become vehicles of power and control. Tribal life is a great case study and has also been an invaluable trove of information. thanks..
Internal conflict creating chaos, and an unbalanced psyche. Fed by media garbage, sad by true.
Profound. Needs to be on all media. Taught in school. Get grants!!
Thank you.
How do u describe an evil mother as a heroe?
Quite brilliant but I fear too late. I can only hope a reversal of all our detrimental behaviours is possible for us as a species and this Planet we inhabit. I’ve a feeling it’s completely pissed off with our “Bullshit”.
As Jeremy Griffith explains in his book FREEDOM chapter 9:9: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’”
I’d really be interested in watching this another time..
Yes, while the fundamental explanation is very simple, it does open up the historically off-limits subject of the human condition, so it does take time to fully absorb. We recommend repeated viewings Miki!
Great life’s read!
What is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s understanding of the human condition is that he has biologically answered the essential question of why, when the ideals are to be loving and selfless, are we so competitive and selfish? See FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’
well even it was a very long interview to there was not so much new information..I did learn at school about the human evolution and that having a conscience made us humans and different from instinctively behavior..also that religions (they all seem related with overarching standards) manipulated humans with the moral good&bad/heaven&hell and created guilt feelings that got even into community rules by society and our constitution..I don’t think that with understanding and giving us credit for our human being on this planet this egocentric self-centered behavior will change, because this is ..the world is in such a bad state; nature is polluted, animals are abused and exploit, we humans not care and do not see suffering when it comes to beneficial courses and surviving..all living species care for their offsprings and suffer by lost, I think we underestimate the power of nature and the animals in it..true we loose respect for it and our goals are manipulated by media and politics even how to dress or build your house..so I assume the problem lays there who has the power to brainwash..also the one who can do that, need a psychical state of narcisme and psychopath and as you can see the world is ruled by just some figures like that..your sayings are a nice effort but hopeless as long humans are not able to think for themselves and follow the mass..unfortunately most humans are not using their brain or again just for their own selfishness goals.
We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.Regarding psychopaths and narcissists, what you will find is that they are just examples, albeit extreme, of the psychologically upset state of the human condition – see FAQ 1.38 ‘Aren’t some people just born psychopathic, or even ‘evil’? / How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour? / Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour?’. And, finally, you might also be interested in FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’Excellent thoughts for human interaction with world’s situation for good.
If there’s a book on the subject by Jeremy Griffiths I would like to obtain it .... The Human Condition could you help ..thanks

Very well structured and beautifully abstract at the coinciding time of concept reception and natural though pattern analysis are intertwined into existence. Definitely forms new neuro pathways, I almost feel obliged to go on a quest for a more thorough and attuned explanation, but that does not ring true with regards to any probabilities as of present. Thank you. Blessed Be
Thank you Skye, we certainly hope you continue to study this information because you will find that it just keep making more and more sense.
Thank you so much Jeremy, I am a 42 year old Architect in England and have centred my working life upon Re-imagining Heritage buildings for future generations to enjoy. I now believe I know why this has been my calling. Your lecture struck an accord with me and has helped me explain my internal dichotomy between the values established through my Roman Catholic upbringing and my critical-thinking mind and professional career. My drive, from the age of thirteen, was to enable others to see: To see purpose, To see reason, And to see greater meaning. My parents instilled in me the importance of longevity, “to plant the acorns from which the shade my great grandchildren will enjoy.” At university I studied complexity theory, fractal algorithms and universal constants. Always searching for the greatest meaning and simplest explanation for ‘human purpose’. I guess, having just noticing how many comments you have below and, whilst I have several questions I would like to discuss, I’m sure you will be too busy and so I shall simply say “thank you”. With sincere thanks, Giles Shorter
I’ve enjoyed this article and I would love reading more. Thank you
Thank you. Will buy a book for gifts and for myself. A new addition to my book shelf.
Thank you, can’t wait to read your book.
Hi Susan, you don’t need to wait at all! Electronic copies of Jeremy Grifith’s books are immediately available for free here on our homepage. This includes FREEDOM and THE Interview. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon, where you can also purchase a hardcopy if you’d prefer.
Great stuff.
I do not have to watch and listen, I already like it!
Amazing, need to learn more
I am interested in this book I am 78. And it seems to be what I have been thinking about for a long time so thanks. Is this book available in South Africa?
Great to have your interest Annette, Jeremy Griffith’s key books, including THE Interview and FREEDOM, are freely available on our homepage here to read online, print and download. You can also purchase hardcopies and download free Kindle versions from Amazon.
This supports the Biblical view of being separated from God via a fallen condition and being reconciled through our recognition of the separation and then our reunion with the higher power that enables the good in us to manifest. My one question is how did we become conscious knowledge seeking beings biologically?
Thanks for your question, Deborah. In Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains how we became fully conscious which developed as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process. He also refers the viewer to Chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation — a summary of which is in FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’.And yes, Jeremy’s treatise does bring new insight to the story of Adam and Eve, clarifying that while in the pre-scientific story Adam and Eve were portrayed as ‘bad’ or even ‘evil’ to take the fruit of knowledge, and treated as ‘sinful’, we can now understand that humans were ‘good’, even heroic, to search for knowledge, even though it caused us to become psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated sufferers of the human condition. While religious assurances, such as ‘God loves you’ in Christianity, provided comfort, they failed to explain WHY we are lovable, and it is that missing explanation that this breakthrough provides.I am listening at 3:30a.m. and will follow up at a better time for my brain to soak in this wonderful revelation. Thanks so much for disseminating these studies.
Wow ty so much I can now stop blaming my parents for my bad behavior ty
Most enlightening ! 🙏❤️💥💥💥💥💥🙏
I am interested as somethings gonna give
Awesome!
I hope it can help me!
See FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solves everything’.And if you haven’t read it already, we thought you would find psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen’s response to the question ‘How does understanding the human race’s condition help with an individual’s depression and psychosis?’ helpful — see FAQ 1.34 — and also FAQ 1.35 on ‘Does this heal anxiety?’ What is explained in those FAQs is that what is so significant about Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is that we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We can at last understand the source of our upset and bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and, most significantly, we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us — see FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’.Wow this is awesome mind blowing information
Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.Enjoying the discussion.
With this interview I do not understand how the explanation tells you about the human condition that could save the world
Hi Gladys, Thanks for your question.
It all makes sense now! Thank you for this profound research, I believe every person needs to hear this, it will change the human perspective on things as a whole. Thank you sir🙏🏽
Completely awaresome
Humans being rational, having conscience and having free will?! No, really?! The Catholic Church is teaching it forever and the science is just now caching up with it. Finally.
Intressant. [Interesting. Translated from German]
You may be interested in FAQ 1.34, in which the highly respected psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, wrote: “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from…It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”Finally, Jeremy’s work presents a new paradigm that dares to confront the historically off-limits subject of the human condition so it is common people initially struggle to ‘hear’ what is being explained, so we also recommend reading FAQ 1.16 ‘Why can’t I understand this?’Maternal Love can also be selective if there is more than 1 sibling....If a child isn’t going to fit the “norms/expectations” of a mother then she can take the “Unconditional Love” and focus it more intensely onto the other children and the child that once got “unconditional love”, consciously or not, realised that their “safety blanket” of “unconditionality” had been almost entirely removed thus they had to search for other women to replace the “unconditional love” they so desperately craved!!
We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We can at last understand the source of our upset and bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and, most significantly, we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us — see FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’.And with regard to nurturing, we can now understand it has been humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge that has compromised our ability to nurture and now that preoccupation ends we can safely acknowledge the absolute importance of nurturing in the development of children – see chapter 8:16C of FREEDOM on ‘The dire consequences of terminal levels of alienation destroying our ability to nurture our children’. So indeed our ability to heal depended on deeply knowing ourselves by having this core mystery of our contradictory behaviour biologically understood.Would like to start reading the book and watch the video Thanks
