Simply. There are no words that can convey my gratitude for discovering the trailer on IG. The information shared is so pure and insightful, it’s amazing that such a comprehensive study went into the creation of this book. I immediately got the free kindle version within minutes of THE Interview starting and will be buying the physical copy asap. I can’t wait to read it cover to cover and share it and THE interview with everyone I know!! it should be a staple must-read/watch for all humanity regardless of doctrine or age & taught and covered in the education system from day one for sure!
Now to delve into the additional materials offered.
Andre B.
My word. At present I’m actively learning that coincidences are more than the word implies. I spent the last 24 hours intuitively developing a school of thought. And then in the first minutes, seconds even, scrolling on my IG feed I saw this this video..I nearly dismissed it as another “old” codger selling opinions like the movements mentioned in our cultures. Please pardon my absolute rudeness and lack of respect in that prior comment...it was just how dismissive I was about it while working on a school project, distracted by the scrolling for a minute.
After I went back...listened to the little bit of video on ig..and realizing that Jeremy also was sharing his book for free...the alarm bells went off...so I steadily sat down and listened to the entire interview. The information is so pure that within minutes of the interview beginning I was online searching for the book..finding it on Amazon to buy or add the physical copy, which I have a hearty collection of books in my wishlist, only to see it offered on kindle for free. Needless to say I swiped it up and will be reading it in the days to come....I’m also going to show my support and buy the book for my own research and understandings, for notes and highlights. Even though I haven’t started, this book, THE interview, is a must have/watch for the world over. I’m so grateful for the lessons your imparting. And given that in the far ancient past we were a matriarchal society who held a firm belief in the power of the womb and woman, nature and nurture. Celestially and beyond. I’ll be sharing this with everyone I know and can.. I also downloaded the video and will be making a pdf copy of the transcript for future endeavors.
So few people are living in their genuine truth, that the ones that truly are are being filtered through to humanity to show us another way. Granted one is not biased as left or right politically, culturally or otherwise. All fashions of dogmatic ideology.

Mind Blown!!! I burst into tears when you said that Adam and Eve were the “heros of the whole story”!? Every sentence or so had me stop and ponder with exquisite fascination! I want More and I Will pursue. I don’t understand why you feel that left wing love/concern is for their own benefit though! I feel it is a touch of Bonobo instinct touching our consciousness! But then we all come together after all..... Much Appreciated!!!
WTM Admin
Thank you for your appreciative and heartfelt feedback Michelle. Yes, please pursue this with everything you have got, because you will see that this new paradigm just keeps opening up more and more insight for you, and really is the only way we can stop the devastation we see everywhere.
Regarding the selfishness behind most left wing behaviour, we recommend our WTM FAQ 1.31 ‘When I was being cooperative and loving, how do I know if I was behaving in a genuinely selfless, soulful, cooperative and loving instinctive way or in a deluded, selfish, feel-good, pseudo idealistic way?’ which explains that the human race is now so psychologically upset as a result of the battle to find knowledge that almost all left wing behaviour is pseudo idealistic. Importantly, that FAQ begins with Jeremy writing, “The question should be posed...in the past tense, because now that we have found understanding of the human condition we can leave our human-condition-stricken, insecure life behind and live a genuinely selfless, cooperative and loving life free of any of the delusion that we were being selfless when we took up support of a pseudo idealistic cause.” Which is just like you writing, “But then we all come together after all…” So it really doesn’t matter what has happened in the past, we can now all look to the future!
Peter
When we try to understand the basic point, and ask for example, how are bonobos able to survive with compassion intact, compared to the violence we live with, we don’t see we are re-applying what perspective we currently live with. We are thinking there is a progressive development of knowledge leading our growth and which provides answers and solutions. Then as it is said, we see this knowledge is corrupt and self deceptive, see it is reactionary, this is not the brain of knowledge. It is intelligence.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your considered comment, Peter. We suggest that upon further digestion you will come to appreciate how unique and important Jeremy Griffith’s synthesis is. For someone to be able to explain, and, through that explanation, bring reconciling and ameliorating understanding to our deeply troubled, human-condition-afflicted lives, they obviously had to be thinking from a position outside the conventional whole-view-of-the-human-condition-avoiding, mechanistic framework; as Einstein said, ‘We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them’!

A great and wonderful take on the reality of being human in this chaotic twenty first century. We have so far to go with this scientific breakthrough!
Tobias
Can’t say this has changed my mind about our ability to stop the self-destructive trajectory we are on. Some will say I’m pessimistic but I say I’m realistic, just look around
WTM Admin
We appreciate you taking the time to comment Tobias. Until we could solve the source of the self-destruction we couldn’t stop its trajectory but Jeremy Griffith actually has got to the bottom of the problem. As renowned psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen said: “I have no doubt Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race” (there are more commendations from thought leaders here on our homepage). You may find FAQ 1.40 helpful as it addresses the questions of ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

I love the figure of speech to simplify. I can agree without critasism to all the various diffrent facets of the human pshycosis explained. I can agree that humans have devine studies and diffrent atempts to explain all this. This is the first movement of such great potential to mass treat the underlining condition amongst us humans that cause the other side of human nature. Religion alone will never create the right mindset to promote brotherly love and respect. Targeting the youth is the greatest challenge. I am now to futher your documentation to futher my assistance. Godsent
WTM Admin
Thank you for your wonderfully appreciative comments Wynand. While religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish which is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents. At last with this ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation we have the solution to the underlying cause of this dark “other side” of humans, the universal psychosis caused by the human condition! We thought you would find our FAQ 1.27 ‘Why the WTM doesn’t focus on reaching young people' helpful as it explains why the breakout of truth about the human condition has to begin with adults. To further your interest just follow the guide through our introductory material on our homepage which includes joining our mailing list, registering for our live events and becoming a member of our Facebook Group.

I get it. When I align my lifestyle with my values and beliefs, I will find true freedom and peace. When my intellect takes over and does allow for intuition and instinct, I am at a constant dual with myself. But if I love truthfully to my moral and ethic belief system, love, kindness and compassion, I am set free.
WTM Admin
It is immensely relieving to be able to understand where the “constant dual” with ourselves comes from and it is only through finding the good reason that our intellect had to defy our moral but dogmatic instincts could we find lasting freedom and peace. Ultimately, only this defence of our ‘dark side’ and with that our ability to love it could bring love and compassion back to the world, because only now are all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation that resulted from our constant dual) redundant. We no longer need them because we have the real defense for why we had to defy our instincts, it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough!

Pope Talia
It’s certainly a psychological revolution that is required.
WTM Admin
Absolutely Talia! As Jeremy Griffith explains our competitive and aggressive behaviour is not due to us having savage instincts, rather it is due to us having a conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled condition that can be healed through understanding the biological origins of that troubled, guilt-stricken, conscious-mind-based state. You may enjoy our Freedom Essay 15 about how this understanding transforms our thinking, to quote: “it is not a revolution that involves warfare and bloodshed like so many revolutions in the past, but a peaceful revolution that is driven by irrefutable knowledge/understanding. We humans are conscious beings and what consciousness needs is understanding, and now we have it. Ultimately, we humans respond to knowledge—anything less was bound to be ineffective. This is the real and lasting transformation that the human race has lived in hope, faith and trust would one day occur. It is the revolution of our minds.”

All the Answers we need are in the Bible. God is our creator .
Never heard such rubbish. This is not fascinating or world changing. It’s a complete lie.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Hannah and we certainly respect people’s religious views. For readers of these comments it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life. (Our FAQs about religion include FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ and FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.) The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.

This whole theory is based on consciousness being unique to humans however many other animals are conscious such as dolphins, elelphants and all sorts of apes, Why don’t they suffer from the human condition or the dolphin condition or whatever?
WTM Admin
Jenny, one of the great outstanding mysteries of science is ‘what is consciousness, and how did it emerge?’ Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview that consciousness simply means being sufficiently aware of how experiences are related to attempt to manage change from a basis of understanding. Clearly while other animals have various levels of ‘awareness’, none can consciously manage events like humans can, and so they don’t possess fully conscious minds, and therefore won’t suffer from the instinct vs intellect clash that caused the human condition. It is also worth noting that Jeremy explains that developing consciousness depended on overcoming the competitive, selfish ‘animal condition’ and becoming orientated to selflessness, so if a species is still preoccupied with selfish, competitive dominance, as other animals are, they can’t become fully conscious. We recommend our FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’

Lyn
Very enlightening. If we no longer need the Leftwing thinkers, then we certainly no longer need the right thinker extremists (RWT) who are angry at everyone who is not RWT.
WTM Admin
That’s right Lyn. Jeremy’s work doesn’t unfairly focus on the failing of the left, which is that its insistence on ideal behaviour had the effect of oppressing and thus regressing the search for knowledge, but rather, through bringing a profound understanding to the human condition, it will ultimately bring an end to the whole ugly business of politics. In fact, the final paradox of the human condition is that through the right wing upholding the selfishness needed to persevere with the search for knowledge, we all now become left-wing (as it were, although the truth is that there will be no more politics). This is fully explained in our FAQs about politics.
Josie White
This answers the nature or nurture arguement, some of us are just more damaged and guilt ridden than others
WTM Admin
Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s work does explain the nature versus nurture debate! As Jeremy explains in chapter 8:16C of FREEDOM, “the whole so-called ‘nature vs. nurture’ debate has really been about wanting to, indeed needing to, attribute the formation of our character to the influence of ‘nature’, our genetic make-up, rather than to the confronting truth of the role nurturing (or the lack thereof) played; it has been a sophisticated deflection from the fact that our psychoses and neuroses and their many physical manifestations are not about our genes, but the hurt to our all-loving instinctive self or soul during infancy and childhood.”
Importantly though, as Jeremy explains in chapter 3:8 of his definitive book FREEDOM, “Significantly, now that we are able to understand from scientific first principles that upset is not an ‘evil’, worthless, bad state, but an immensely heroic state, we can know that while, inevitably, all humans are variously upset from their different encounters with, and degrees of engagement in, humanity’s epic search to find knowledge, ALL HUMANS ARE EQUALLY GOOD. Everyone is variously angry, egocentric and alienated, but everyone is good, and not just good but a hero of the story of life on Earth! No longer does humanity have to rely on dogmatic assertions that ‘all men are created equal’ purely on the basis that it is a ‘self-evident’ truth, as the United States’ Declaration of Independence asserts, because we can now explain, understand and know that the equality of goodness of all humans is a fundamental truth.”

Sometimes, you need to hear what you somehow feel is right but haven’t got the “audacity” to voice it. Thank you for the clear message.

This theory is based on evolution isn’t it ?
WTM Admin
Yes, biologist Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition is rational, accountable science and therefore explains the human condition in the context of our evolution as a species. As Professor Harry Prosen wrote in his introduction to Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, “finding the biological explanation of the human condition has been ‘the holy grail’ of the whole Darwinian revolution, the central quest in our human journey of conscious thought and enquiry.”

Astonishing, I am breathless. Congratulations, excellent work. ❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗.
Patricia Furness
110% agree and would like to know how to get this into the mainstream, maybe starting with more advanced thinking schools.
WTM Admin
Good question Patricia. As Jeremy Griffith points out in Part 2 of THE Interview the issue of the human condition has been such a denied and off-limits subject that confronting it represents the “biggest of all blasphemies”, and how “science progresses funeral by funeral” when it comes to supporting big paradigm shifts like this. So it is up to the resolve of individuals, including scientists, to help the WTM break through the road block of the legitimate fear and resulting deaf effect the subject of the human condition causes in most people. You might find these links helpful: FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream’ and FAQ 3.4 ‘How can I help the WTM’.
Having said that, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point in terms of awareness of this great breakthrough, you can see from the excitement and relief in our ecstatic responses to THE Interview, we are well on our way! Also, on our homepage, you can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world!

I thoroughly enjoyed this insight!
Victor Ndaba
If I am not a christian, meaning if I never bought Moses’s story does this theory hold any value. A lot of people except christians don’t have the ‘Great guilt’. Maybe I don’t understand.
WTM Admin
Hi Victor, thanks for your comment. What you start to realise as you absorb this understanding is that we all carry a burden of guilt over having destroyed our all-loving soul, not just Christians. However, because we haven’t been able to defend our behaviour, all we could do was put denial in place – we spend our whole time putting on a brave face, smiling and carrying on as if there’s nothing basically wrong. We carry on as if there’s nothing basically wrong with ourselves or the world. So although religions such as Christianity brought the truth of our guilt into their teachings, the truth is that even if we are not Christians, we are driven by an underlying sense of guilt.
If you haven’t already looked at it, you might be interested in Jeremy’s new presentation The Great Guilt, which explains just how guilty and ashamed humans have been of corrupting our original instinctive self or soul.

Alison
I’ve never been taught that! I was taught that behaviour is a choice
WTM Admin
Hi Alison, we assume you are referring to the ‘savage instincts’ excuse for our selfish behaviour when you refer to having never been taught that. All we would say is that as you start to digest this understanding of our condition, and begin to see just how universal the guilt is that humans suffer from for having destroyed our all-loving instinctive self or soul, you will start to realise that the savage instincts excuse is almost universal, even though it may not be stated. And so behind the idea that we can ‘choose’ how to behave is an implicit belief that if we don’t choose properly, we will make a selfish choice in line with our supposed instincts. We recommend reading or watching Video/Freedom Essay 14 about just how pervasive this excuse for our behaviour is.

Great scientific approach, makes sense to me; aligns with my own personal journey of spiritual and psychological healing through existentialism (as advocated by Jung) and principles and philosophy of Buddhist teachings (Universal Laws included).
To understand and master one’s own mind is to free oneself from conditioning (delusions).
We learn from everyone and every experience when we open up our minds.
Love + Logic = Peace.
To respect others is to respect oneself and vicè versa.
Calm assertive communication and cooperation our combined intention.
One is all and all is one 💜
WTM Admin
Yes, this will make sense of so many approaches that humanity has attempted through its journey to find knowledge. However, it does need to be stressed that while thinkers throughout history have touched on elements of the human condition in their thinking, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work.
Tim Barnes
As my boss once said to me: “99% of people are lovely”. Jeremy seems to have carried out his research amongst the ‘upset’ , aggressive and selfish 1%. Good luck with solving the ‘human condition’ for Assad, Putin et al. Sadly (or not) capitalism relies on the belief that greed is good. Once the 1% reach your understanding of the human condition the world will be a very different place.
WTM Admin
Thank you very much for your comment Tim. However, we suggest that all humans suffer from the psychologically upset state of the human condition, not just the overtly destructive “1%”, and as you digest this redeeming understanding you will realise that it is safe to connect with that fact. The issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad has been the most unbearably depressing and terrifying of subjects to face, and until that question could be answered, which it has in THE Interview, we have lived with a feeling of unworthiness, insecurity, shame and guilt and, necessarily, in almost total denial of the human condition, so it does take a while to fully appreciate the extent of our denial.
As Jeremy explains in Freedom Essay 62, “while we humans couldn’t defend our upset corrupted state, we couldn’t afford to admit we were upset. In fact, we spend our whole time putting on a brave face, smiling and carrying on as if there’s nothing basically wrong.” Certainly, some people are more ‘upset’ than others, and therefore can be more destructive than others, but the truth is that we all suffer from the human condition.
We suggest you watch the companion presentation to THE Interview titled The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect (here on our website) as it provides astonishing clarification of why lifting The Great Burden Of Guilt from the human race causes most people to initially experience a ‘Deaf Effect’ to what’s being presented.
Terri
Blew my mind to understand the messages. Very ready to continue asap. Thank you so much!

Look at the great apes from whom we have associated ancestry.
Look at how the ORANGUTANG and GORILLAS act towards each other.
They are rarely agressive but mainly caring, nuturing and can be extremely affectionate towards each other and show sympathy and empathy.
WTM Admin
Yes, the nurturing, cooperative, empathetic nature of primates such as gorillas and orangutangs is obvious, but while we couldn’t defend our own selfish and destructive behaviour, it is a truth that we have had to deny. As Jeremy Griffith writes in chapter 6:5 of his definitive book FREEDOM, “Since humans are primates, the obvious area of research that has the most potential to shed light on our origins is the field of primatology, but it is in this most enlightening of fields that some of the most dishonest thinking about the origins of our species’ moral sense has been taking place. Despite John Fiske having presented the nurturing explanation for our moral nature way back in 1874, the great majority of primatologists have been so fearful of the truth of nurturing that they have persevered along the habituated path of denial, serving up completely dishonest interpretations of primate behaviour. This denial is particularly palpable if we compare their dishonest studies with the work of the rare few honest primatologists who have dared to recognise the role that nurturing plays in primate society.”
While THE Interview summarises the science of the love-indoctrination process, which can be seen in various stages in all primates, and was responsible for the establishment of humanity’s all-loving instinctive self or soul, the explanation of love-indoctrination is fully presented in chapter 5 of FREEDOM.

Wow. Liberating to say the very least. Personally, it brings me to a deeper understanding of what my journey and searching has been about. The Holy Bible makes so much more sense to me now, because of the hidden truth and mystery of the Gospel that’s spoken about by Paul.
Being transformed by the renewing of your mind, and not being conformed to the “standards” of the world mindset is crystal clear. Thank you.
WTM Admin
Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition brings biological understanding to religious accounts of our condition, which means we can at last reconcile science and religion. What THE Interview presents fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough. You might be interested in our FAQs about religion, especially 6.2 ‘What is God’ and 6.3 ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’. Also there are Jeremy’s Freedom Essays 38 – 41 about the demysification of religion which are absolutely fascinating.

As a member of the Baha’i Faith, I was totally captivated by this interview and your insights of the human condition. In my discussions with others about this concept many have described our innate character of ego, selfishness and aggression as “always has been and always will be” because we are innately this way. And as a Baha’i I understand your concept of the human condition and that surely we “can and will” change to correct this condition with a spiritual “soul” solution. Thank you so much for your clarity in this matter.
WTM Admin
Yes, while Baha’i and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately, to change our condition we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. To put it another way, it was only through finding the good reason that we had to defy our cooperative and loving instinctive self or soul, that all our defensive, ‘bad’ behaviours - our ego, selfishness and aggression, could be made redundant, and the defiance and oppression of our soul could end.

I put myself into Christian college with basketball, which sent me out of my sheltered hometown… I saw the world at a very fast pace, met a billion people cause I was a radio DJ and now I do Hollywood movies. Saying all that, I also had a strong connection to my Native ways and ceremonies. So, seeing the contrast between the freedom of our Native culture vs. the indoctrination process of Christianity. I finally had the knowledge and understanding to see the difference and put it into words. I studied Buddhism, Taoism, Hindu, and eastern philosophies with my newfound knowledge… in my opinion, this gentleman in this “interview” has wrapped it all up into a nice and neat cute little doggy bag and said here ya go, your problems are solved. Lol. But the real magic is when he’s figured out, that an understanding in the conscious mind, can change the entire world’s way of thinking… it really does solve all of our problems. If everyone hears this, the. Poof! We have no more problems! So, I would like to talk to this guy, because I’m super deep and I manifest anything I want… in fact, I was on Yellowstone lastnight!! The tall native with the cowboy hat and braids! Anyway, looking forward to reading your book.
WTM Admin
Thanks very much for your thoughts Dan, and we will certainly look out for your on Yellowstone! Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s work explains that all the crises that the world faces, such as war, environmental destruction, drug and mental-health epidemics etc are merely symptoms of a deeper problem and will not fundamentally change until we end the underlying insecurity that is driving it all, which is exactly what Jeremy’s explanation of the human condition in THE Interview does. With our goodness biologically established all our insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation, is made redundant; we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a cooperative, peaceful way of living, and all the terrible problems besetting the world will be able to be fixed, almost overnight!
With regard to your observations on the different levels of ‘freedom’ between Native American culture, and Western religion and culture, you might be interested in Freedom Essay 28, which explains how this understanding of the fundamental goodness of all humans, reconciles all races and cultures, and removes prejudices, such as racism, forever.
We should also let you know that Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition is freely available on our homepage here along with his other key books. You can read them online or download them (no email required). You can also download the free Kindle versions or purchase hard copies from Amazon. Hard copies are also available at other good bookstores.

Still digesting need to read more and study based on scripture
WTM Admin
Yes, take your time Deborah, there is certainly a lot to digest! We do think you will find that Jeremy Griffith’s treatise will resonate with your familiarity with religious scripture, because it reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts such as innocence, sin and ‘Judgment Day’, etc. In fact, what people discover is it is the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves – see our FAQs on religion.

This is very amazing
Varghese Thomas
Absolutely incredible interview, massive step and breakthrough for human minds, which was explained with wonderful insights. Thank you!
Jim
I was particularly encouraged by the explanation of primate mothers and matriarchies as a origin of the human condition.
WTM Admin
Yes, Jeremy Griffith explains that it was mothers caring for their offspring, that led to genuine cooperation or selflessness being developed – this nurturing based love-indoctrination process is further explained in chapter 5 of FREEDOM; and evidence is presented from the hominin fossil record and also the bonobos. It turns out that our selfish behaviour is not a result of ‘selfish genes within us’, but a result of the instinct vs intellect clash, when those all-loving instincts that were created by nurturing, unavoidably ‘criticised’ our conscious mind’s experiments in self-management. The wonderful thing is that by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant; they can stop.

A Must See, deep thought about the human condition
Michael Glass
Anyone who believes this knowledge will bring about peace and end our suffering is living in a fantasy world.
WTM Admin
As FAQ 1.9 ‘Should people be sceptical’ explains, the absolutely astonishing claims made about Jeremy Griffith’s breakthrough explanation, such as it is the insight that will ‘solve the human condition and save the world’, do warrant initial extreme scepticism, but the amazing fact is that they all withstand scrutiny. A person can begin reading the explanation and the more they read into it the more they will realise the claims, that initially appeared ‘fantastical’, are actually true, and in time become appreciated for their forthright honesty in indicating where the solution to our problems lies. Also FAQ 1.40 ‘How can you hope to transform the world?’ is most relevant to your comment.

Inspiring and brilliant! Thank you for providing this free of charge, that right there will get this shared and read by millions!

I believe the Bible is saying the same thing that we’re all supposed to be saying the same thing and doing the same thing and living in harmony. In Genesis 11:6 God was not mad at them at all. He was odd by the people and their unity the New testament is full of comments from like Paul and the other authors. That said that we’re supposed to be of one spirit in one mind. Thank you!
WTM Admin
Thanks for your thoughts Al. Jeremy Griffith’s work brings biological understanding to all those concepts contained in the Bible, which he acknowledges as being a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-scientific view. But ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish—for why we don’t live in harmony and aren’t of one spirit. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview. What Jeremy is putting forward is that for there to be a fundamental change in our human situation we had to understand the human condition – humans’ capacity for good and evil – from a biological perspective. I’m always looking for a peaceful solution for us to co exist. It caught my attention.
WTM Admin
We’re very happy THE Interview caught your attention Ellen as it is the ideal introduction to Jeremy Griffith’s work. As an example of the explanatory power of this knowledge you might like to read our FAQ 1.6 which explains, all the problems we’re experiencing on this planet, aside from natural phenomenon, are caused by us humans and it’s that underlying issue — our destructively behaved, so-called human condition — that really has to be addressed and fixed if we are to find a peaceful solution and this is precisely what Jeremy has delivered with his first principle-based biological understanding of the human condition!
Dan Mandley
I want to listen with an open mind as my mind is already open to many theories !
WTM Admin
Great to have your interest Dan! Watching or reading THE Interview is the place to start to explore this critical new science and you may also find our FAQ 1.13 about ‘How does biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition differ from other theories that recognise these elements?’ most helpful.
Steve. Jennings
This was a very gripping interview & I believe a lot of what was said . Especially about the different animal species (humans are the same) we all have leaders we all have followers, just look at the world & what’s going on in the world , we would be blind not to see it . Leerders & followers. It’s all about believe & what we are taught as children is what most people believe is true. I’m a man with a open mind & I don’t believe everything I hear . For example the news on t,v just broadcasting what they want you to believe. Seen is believing. If I see god I believe in God if I see a ghost I’ll believe in ghosts etc etc . If I was a leader I would encourage world peace & concentrate on saving the planet from global warming (something I believe is happening because I’ve seen it with my own eyes) . Well done to Jeremy Griffith for explaining this. Fantastic interview & true to the heart
WTM Admin
Thanks for your thoughts Steve and it is wonderful you found this so gripping. We did just want to clarify THE Interview reveals humans’ selfish and competitive behaviour is not a product of unchangeable savage animal instincts within us, nor a result of competing for leadership, but the result of a psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. Jeremy Griffith explains this key biological distinction that humans suffer from the conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled human condition, not the genetic-opportunism-based, animal condition. Now we can understand the human condition, we can see that everyone has suffered from it, and all our institutions, including our governments and educational systems, have been a manifestation of our insecure, psychologically upset condition. Only solving the human condition can stop the destruction of ourselves and the natural world that is happening everywhere we look, see FAQ 1.6.

The Human condition needs to be part of the core education of every country in the world.
Misty Harris
Wow,that was so freeing. I “knew” we were leaving The age of competition and entering the age of cooperation but I did not know how. Now I do. Thank you.
WTM Admin
This certainly is freeing Misty because Jeremy Griffith at last provides scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents here. As Part 4 of THE Interview explains until now leaving or transcending our competitiveness and just imposing cooperative behaviour wasn’t the solution. To quote “These movements were pseudo idealistic movements that stifled and oppressed the search for the understanding of our corrupted condition that was needed to actually free us from that state. They were regressive, not progressive”. This critical difference is further deal with in FAQ 6.5 ‘Is this just another self-help, New Age, pseudo idealistic, superficial-treatment-of-psychosis type movement?’
Susana
Thanks so much for sharing this interview
Truly amazing and easy to understand.
Difficult to chew, when you look around and see all the madness and chaos
WTM Admin
Thanks for your wonderful feedback Susana it is difficult to look at all the madness and chaos that surrounds us but that is what is so astonishing about Jeremy Griffith’s biological treatise and why it is truly amazing as you say. He honestly confronts, explains and defends our upset human condition (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) so at last we can look at it and therefore deal with it. To quote our Transformation page which I’m sure you will find fascinating: “We can understand ourselves now. We can make sense of all the chaos, suffering and seeming madness in human life. Science has finally made it possible for the whole jigsaw of confusion and mystery about us humans to be fitted together so that it all makes sense. In particular, we can understand why we fully conscious humans corrupted our original all-loving and all-sensitive instinctive self or soul. Yes, the great burden of guilt from having destroyed the magic world of our soul has at last been lifted! We have found the key understanding that ends the underlying pain in our brains and allows the human race to become sound and sane again!”
Robert Hanson
It makes sence... its truly mind blowing ... although in many ways ... ive had a feeling and understanding ... that greed , fear selfishness , materialistic etc..... pushed alot of growth both positive n negitive results ... dealing with what side of our brain we allow to control our decisions.
WTM Admin
Great to have your interest Robert. Various thinkers have identified a clash between an ancient instinctive part of our brain and the more recently developed intellectual part as being critical to understanding the human condition (see for example Freedom Essay 4 which includes an analysis of Paul MacLean’s triune brain theory), however what Jeremy Griffith is presenting is a completely new take on this basic pattern. We can now understand that unlike other animals our human ancestors developed completely loving and cooperative instincts through the nurturing based love-indoctrination process (which is explained in Part 3 of THE Interview). It can then be explained that the source of our “greed, fear, selfishness and materialism” is not selfish, survival instincts within us, or our reptilian brain’s impulses, but is due to a universal psychosis caused by a clash between those loving, but dictatorial instincts, and our emerging intellect.

Victor hannah
I wouldn’t call something that supposedly brought pain and death in to existence a hero. A hero has left you to watch the suffering of family, friends and the world? As long as those exists. That’s just a cause, not a hero.
WTM Admin
The agonising psychologically upset state of the human condition has created an extremely frustrated and ferociously angry ‘dark side’ in humans, which has meant we are capable of horrific acts but, we suggest the more one digests this understanding it does explain the great heroism of humans without condoning such behaviour. For instance, we now know that we had to search for knowledge, ultimately sufficient knowledge to explain the human condition — why we are divisively rather than cooperatively behaved — but that this search corrupted us, which was the price we had to pay. This point about our fundamental responsibility to search for knowledge even though it was upsetting and corrupting, allows us to appreciate that our upset is a heroic state. Our FAQ 1.38 which answers the questions ‘How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour? / Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour?’ importantly explains, this understanding of why we became upset as a species does not condone or sanction ‘evil’, rather, through bringing understanding to humans’ inevitable various degrees of psychological upset, it gives us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate all the psychological upset in us humans and stop human suffering all together.

Thanks for your consideration Robert. The subject of the human condition asks the age-old question of why, when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless, are we so angry, competitive and selfish? Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview. This is the most extraordinary interview that has my interest in listening to more of what is in the book that I heard about, thank you for this, you have my thanks
It certainly is an extraordinary interview, Patricia! It’s great you want to read Jeremy Griffith’s book FREEDOM which is free on our homepage here to read online or download. (You can also download the free Kindle version from Amazon, otherwise you can purchase hard copies from Amazon or other good bookstores.) We also recommend registering to be notified of our free, live, interactive presentations with Jeremy Griffith and others about this immensely relieving understanding and joining our Facebook Group where there is much fascinating discussion taking place.Simply.
☮️🧡 For all, yes I used all 2k chars

Thank you for your appreciative and heartfelt feedback Michelle. Yes, please pursue this with everything you have got, because you will see that this new paradigm just keeps opening up more and more insight for you, and really is the only way we can stop the devastation we see everywhere.Regarding the selfishness behind most left wing behaviour, we recommend our WTM FAQ 1.31 ‘When I was being cooperative and loving, how do I know if I was behaving in a genuinely selfless, soulful, cooperative and loving instinctive way or in a deluded, selfish, feel-good, pseudo idealistic way?’ which explains that the human race is now so psychologically upset as a result of the battle to find knowledge that almost all left wing behaviour is pseudo idealistic.
Thank you for your considered comment, Peter. We suggest that upon further digestion you will come to appreciate how unique and important Jeremy Griffith’s synthesis is. For someone to be able to explain, and, through that explanation, bring reconciling and ameliorating understanding to our deeply troubled, human-condition-afflicted lives, they obviously had to be thinking from a position outside the conventional whole-view-of-the-human-condition-avoiding, mechanistic framework; as Einstein said, ‘We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them’!
looking forward to a long dip in this pool. thank u
A great and wonderful take on the reality of being human in this chaotic twenty first century. We have so far to go with this scientific breakthrough!
Can’t say this has changed my mind about our ability to stop the self-destructive trajectory we are on. Some will say I’m pessimistic but I say I’m realistic, just look around
Thank you for taking your time and explain all this important information that we all need to know truly wonderful bless your soul
Listened before and I got wery imprested. Its sametinget importent to hear this. My our World neds this .
I really enjoyed this, it gives me hope and understanding of the meaning of life?
Wonderful to have your interest Jessie and we suggest the more one explores this understanding the more one sees just how profoundly it explains the meaning of life. Our FAQs about how this explanation answers the great scientific questions, including the meaning of life, can be seen here on our website.
Amazing… totally open and explains so many empty questions.
Godsent
I have studied humans for 38 years. I have seen the interview and l am in total support of Jeremy G’s compelation of the Human Condition. Everything well explained in care of understanding. Much thankfull for the work done to provide a solution to eliminate the devious nature amongst humans. I shall now endulge in the material available as to end up on the same page together. Godsent
Very interesting and thought provoking. Will definitely share and be reading more
How can I own a copy of the book
Great to have your interest Dr Tony! If you particularly want a hard copy of any of Jeremy Griffith’s books they can be purchased from Amazon or other good bookstores. Otherwise you can immediately access electronic copies of FREEDOM (along with Jeremy’s other key books, including the booklet version of THE Interview) to download, to read online or to print your own copy here for free on our homepage. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. Very instructive...
I get it. When I align my lifestyle with my values and beliefs, I will find true freedom and peace. When my intellect takes over and does allow for intuition and instinct, I am at a constant dual with myself. But if I love truthfully to my moral and ethic belief system, love, kindness and compassion, I am set free.
I’ll comment after I’ve listened to the essays
We look forward to your feedback Richard after you complete watching or reading our Video/Essay series which you can access here on our homepage. These 16 Main Videos/Essays, with the next one to watch, after THE Interview, being The Great Guilt, where Jeremy Griffith gives an astonishingly interesting and important description of The Great Burden Of Guilt that has finally been lifted from the human race, provide the perfect introduction to this understanding! Also you can subscribe to our mailing list to receive all our 64 Freedom Essays (one per week) which guides you through much of the content of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM in beautifully illustrated bite-size pieces. Also our Facebook Group provides a wonderful platform for participating in, or just observing, interesting and exciting discussion with others about how we can live with this critical new science.
It’s certainly a psychological revolution that is required.
Thank you so much for your work. This was very insightful. I will listen to this again. Thanks
All the Answers we need are in the Bible. God is our creator . Never heard such rubbish. This is not fascinating or world changing. It’s a complete lie.
This is so needed before it is too late, clock is running
I live this. Never have I had it been acknowledged as anything but a problem to be dealt with. Never have I felt so understood. Thank you
This man is having a good ideas, he knows why there is greedyness and hatred around the world, because there is no humanity
Highly integrated solution
It’s a great book. I need it .
This whole theory is based on consciousness being unique to humans however many other animals are conscious such as dolphins, elelphants and all sorts of apes, Why don’t they suffer from the human condition or the dolphin condition or whatever?
Wonderful!!!
Thank you for the transcript and wisdom.

Very enlightening. If we no longer need the Leftwing thinkers, then we certainly no longer need the right thinker extremists (RWT) who are angry at everyone who is not RWT.
This answers the nature or nurture arguement, some of us are just more damaged and guilt ridden than others
Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s work does explain the nature versus nurture debate! As Jeremy explains in chapter 8:16C of FREEDOM, “the whole so-called ‘nature vs. nurture’ debate has really been about wanting to, indeed needing to, attribute the formation of our character to the influence of ‘nature’, our genetic make-up, rather than to the confronting truth of the role nurturing (or the lack thereof) played; it has been a sophisticated deflection from the fact that our psychoses and neuroses and their many physical manifestations are not about our genes, but the hurt to our all-loving instinctive self or soul during infancy and childhood.”Importantly though, as Jeremy explains in chapter 3:8 of his definitive book FREEDOM, “Significantly, now that we are able to understand from scientific first principles that upset is not an ‘evil’, worthless, bad state, but an immensely heroic state, we can know that while, inevitably, all humans are variously upset from their different encounters with, and degrees of engagement in, humanity’s epic search to find knowledge, ALL HUMANS ARE EQUALLY GOOD. Everyone is variously angry, egocentric and alienated, but everyone is good, and not just good but a hero of the story of life on Earth! No longer does humanity have to rely on dogmatic assertions that ‘all men are created equal’ purely on the basis that it is a ‘self-evident’ truth, as the United States’ Declaration of Independence asserts, because we can now explain, understand and know that the equality of goodness of all humans is a fundamental truth.”Sometimes, you need to hear what you somehow feel is right but haven’t got the “audacity” to voice it. Thank you for the clear message.
I love Jeremy Griffith’s work. It doesn’t leave people helplessly stuck in their genetics, but rather emphasizes consciousness and free will.
Enlightening
He tried his best but I am not agreeing with most of it. I am writing a book I will explain many questions people don’t know anything about it. I hope it will shake the world.
Finally! So well needed especially at this time in our world the so called intelligent leaders are completely unconscious and causing such destruction and hopelessness. An awakening of wisdom, intuition and consciousness is critically needed or we are doomed to fall rather then evolve as we previously were doing.
Yes I understand and respect this process.
👌💖💖💖🙏
This interview I stumbled upon, it reinforces, my own thinking , not just recent thought, but ideas in my head my entire adult life, searching of knowledge, thank you, simply admiration.
SO another bit of entire click bait really , this interview stole so much time on me that i can never get back, it is absolute pure useless rubbish, it fixes nothing and is all hear say , this will do nothing to improve anyones lifestyles thats a fact !!
Very informative and direct. I saved it to watch again for I’m sure some of its pertinent message escaped me.
New here
Welcome Roaddog. If you go to the top of our homepage—HumanCondition.com—it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ and guides you through the steps to pursue your interest. It is also worth mentioning that all Jeremy Griffith’s books are freely available on the website.
Great information and very valuable but yet mind blowing and the way he explained it my mind is trying to accept it all
A clear explanation of, ‘where it all went wrong’ for the human race. This awareness gives us a choice to forgive ourselves and others and the ability to explore a beautiful future, a wonderful human condition.
This theory is based on evolution isn’t it ?
Yes, biologist Jeremy Griffith’s instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition is rational, accountable science and therefore explains the human condition in the context of our evolution as a species. As Professor Harry Prosen wrote in his introduction to Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, “finding the biological explanation of the human condition has been ‘the holy grail’ of the whole Darwinian revolution, the central quest in our human journey of conscious thought and enquiry.”
Great information
Astonishing, I am breathless. Congratulations, excellent work. ❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗.
110% agree and would like to know how to get this into the mainstream, maybe starting with more advanced thinking schools.
You might find these links helpful: FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream’ and FAQ 3.4 ‘How can I help the WTM’.Having said that, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point in terms of awareness of this great breakthrough, you can see from the excitement and relief in our ecstatic responses to THE Interview, we are well on our way! Also, on our homepage, you can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world!I thoroughly enjoyed this insight!
If I am not a christian, meaning if I never bought Moses’s story does this theory hold any value. A lot of people except christians don’t have the ‘Great guilt’. Maybe I don’t understand.
If you haven’t already looked at it, you might be interested in Jeremy’s new presentation The Great Guilt, which explains just how guilty and ashamed humans have been of corrupting our original instinctive self or soul.Excellent ❤️⭐️⭐️ Made me cry with joy
Such power has this transformation that two of my children and a good friend joined the facebook group.Thank you!
So enlightening for all of us to expand our self-knowledge.
I’ve never been taught that! I was taught that behaviour is a choice
At last,HOPE,where there was before, hopelessness! Balm for my soul- thank you!🙏🏻
Thank you for enlightening me to understand and accept myself. There were times I questioned myself about my existence on this planet earth.
Wow...wow!! Amazing life changing 😇♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ everyone needs to hear this finally we could live in peace no wars no more anger just joy... Peace...♥️♥️♥️ Love
We suggest you watch the companion presentation to THE Interview titled The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect (here on our website) as it provides astonishing clarification of why lifting The Great Burden Of Guilt from the human race causes most people to initially experience a ‘Deaf Effect’ to what’s being presented.Blew my mind to understand the messages.
This denial is particularly palpable if we compare their dishonest studies with the work of the rare few honest primatologists who have dared to recognise the role that nurturing plays in primate society.”While THE Interview summarises the science of the love-indoctrination process, which can be seen in various stages in all primates, and was responsible for the establishment of humanity’s all-loving instinctive self or soul, the explanation of love-indoctrination is fully presented in chapter 5 of FREEDOM.Amazing, full of eye opening wonders.
Thanks for the knowledge
Thanks 😊
Thank you.
I am a 6’10” Native American.
The work is done. Freedom for all. Please dont forget to share!
Wow amazing. We just need everyone to listen, learn and love now. Thank you!

Still digesting need to read more and study based on scripture
Yes, take your time Deborah, there is certainly a lot to digest! We do think you will find that Jeremy Griffith’s treatise will resonate with your familiarity with religious scripture, because it reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts such as innocence, sin and ‘Judgment Day’, etc. In fact, what people discover is it is the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves – see our FAQs on religion.
This is very amazing
Absolutely incredible interview, massive step and breakthrough for human minds, which was explained with wonderful insights. Thank you!
I was particularly encouraged by the explanation of primate mothers and matriarchies as a origin of the human condition.
Utterly amazing and completely true! Thank you.
A Must See, deep thought about the human condition
Anyone who believes this knowledge will bring about peace and end our suffering is living in a fantasy world.
Thank you!
You might find our FAQs about religion of interest.
Very informative…… a must see for the world
Awesome
Just discovered your page , very interesting have to listen again to absorb,I will be following and reading your scripts. Thanks Regards Eamon
It is wonderful you have found the WTM Eamon and re-watching THE Interview is what we recommend as explanation of the human condition does produce a huge paradigm shift in our thinking, so this critical new science does take time to fully absorb as you are finding. From there we suggest you watch the next video in our series The Great Guilt and also explore our homepage which guides you through all our key material to consider. Happy exploring Eamon!
I’m always looking for a peaceful solution for us to co exist. It caught my attention.
I want to listen with an open mind as my mind is already open to many theories !
Wow,that was so freeing. I “knew” we were leaving The age of competition and entering the age of cooperation but I did not know how. Now I do. Thank you.
Thanks so much for sharing this interview Truly amazing and easy to understand. Difficult to chew, when you look around and see all the madness and chaos
It makes sence... its truly mind blowing ... although in many ways ... ive had a feeling and understanding ... that greed , fear selfishness , materialistic etc..... pushed alot of growth both positive n negitive results ... dealing with what side of our brain we allow to control our decisions.

I wouldn’t call something that supposedly brought pain and death in to existence a hero. A hero has left you to watch the suffering of family, friends and the world? As long as those exists. That’s just a cause, not a hero.

Just a thero but Good but no facts no proof but needs to look in to
Thanks for your consideration Robert. Our FAQ 1.20 outlines ‘What scientific evidence is there for this explanation’ and the commendations Jeremy’s work has received from extremely eminent scientists and thinkers are on our homepage here.
