The world now needs action....Jeremy mentions that the humans act with good intentions but then are hypocritical and act in such evil ways.....this man is giving out information that we need to follow and germinate a more balanced..healthier world..get rid of inequality...greed...get rid of institutions like politics where money money and power reign supreme.....living is not about control...it’s about all humans living in total freedom to live a live that all of us have a right too. ..we are not slaves to no master.....individuals who are wealthy and have power become evil and use their power to take advantage of others who are equal to them...Our media creates this evil world and also needs to be abolished...change will not occur if we continue to live within a environment where evil forces are controlling everything.I tell people that our economical models are a poison that creates greed ..power and evil behavior that leads ro mental illness and sickness spread throughout our communities
Thank-you Jeremy for your brilliant work and your work to I.prove our world...you truly are a Saint....good luck and never give up the fight...living is worth fighting for...
WTM Admin
We agree Jeremy Griffith’s work is brilliant and thank you so much for your encouragement David. There is a huge amount to get your head around, which takes a little time, but now we can understand the human condition, we can see that everyone has suffered from it, and all our institutions, including our governments and media, have been a manifestation of our insecure, psychologically upset condition. Only solving the human condition, addressing the source of our selfish psychological upset (what historically has been termed ‘evil’), could we achieve real and lasting change and stop the destruction of our world that is happening everywhere we look. You may find these FAQs helpful, FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding solve everything’ and FAQ 1.40 ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power?’

Fascinating. I would say many fight our own consciousness, trying to find ourselves, whilst some its very definitely clear they are no where near, & use every excuse in the book & will blame everyone for their bad behaviours ( narcissistic behaviours) I believe I was an angry young woman ( issues in childhood) & through many years of trying to understand behaviours of others & myself, I am now a loving good person. I do believe people can be healed from their selfish, arrogant, bad behaviours, but not all want to be, because they realise it gets them what they want from life. It’s good to know it can’t be our ancestors animal instincts that can be used as an excuse. If I hadn’t of been treated bad by others in childhood, I prob would have been how I am now, so much earlier in my life. I’ve always believed that deep down, but this explains it more to me. If we were all cooperative & loving, not treating others badly, no one would suffer effects of trying to figure out why, & develop feelings of anger & confusion to why they received that treatment. I’m not a religious person, but the Adam & Eve story never made sense to me, where this version does. My dog loves no matter what. My autistic son can shove her, shout at her, & still she loves. If only we were all still like that? Just hope our pets don’t become conscious & become angry 😂 I think the older we get, the more we do concentrate on our morals, but again, I think greed allows some to ignore them. I don’t think that will ever change unfortunately, especially within governments
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughtful comment Amanda. Yes if we were all cooperative and loving no one, especially children, would suffer the damaging effects of being treated with anything but generosity and kindness and that is the question of the human condition. WHY when the universal ideals are to be loving and selfless are we so competitive and selfish? It is this crux question that Jeremy Griffith confronts and answers through first principle biology because only through understanding the dark side of ourselves—why we departed from our all-loving instincts and became psychologically upset—can we truly free ourselves from the human condition and legitimately love ourselves and each other again. Significantly psychological upset or a psychosis can be healed with understanding so yes we agree with you, and in fact we can all be healed as FAQ 1.40 explains as it answers the questions ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’
Colleen
Thank you for sharing your enlightening work. I look forward to reading the book.

Insight of human condition started the war in me to no more of the human condition as at last there is a solution.
WTM Admin
Yes Abraham, at last there is a solution to the war within us caused by the battle between our intellect and our cooperative instincts which caused us to become psychologically angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. Now that we can understand this conflict all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition—we certainly can say “no more of the human condition” with this solution!
Cheryl Murray
I really want to read the book, thanks so much 🙏

This is in the bible. Adam and Eve “ate the fruit of the tree” and then had a conscience mind.
WTM Admin
Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition brings biological understanding to religious accounts of our condition, which means we can at last reconcile science and religion. For instance, as THE Interview explains, the story of Adam and Eve is a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness and its clash with our pre-established, cooperative loving instincts, resulting in humans becoming psychologically upset or ‘sinful’ or ‘evil’. However, significantly we can now understand, from scientific first principles, that ‘Adam and Eve’ were actually ‘good’ to search for knowledge, not bad or ‘evil’; we humans are actually the absolute heroes of the whole story! It establishes that we are good and not bad after all. What THE Interview presents fundamentally lifts the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race and allows us to forgive ourselves and others and finally end our psychologically troubled human condition—it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough. You might be interested in our FAQs about religion, especially 6.2 ‘What is God’ and 6.3 ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’.
David Utts
I love your attempt to reveal what most mystics have done many times before. We suffer from the belief we are a person with its inherent shame, guilt, rage, etc. These are all falsities - we are not individuals but rather ONE THING that is grounded in love, cooperation and care. You might want to read the works of Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta - such beings have been offering this for thousands of years. My hope is that your work somehow gets these truths out to more people.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your feedback David. Great wisdom can be found in some spiritual teaching, but ultimately our thinking mind needed understanding—specifically, scientific understanding of why when the ideals are to be loving and selfless are we so competitive and selfish? This is what Jeremy Griffith’s treatise does and why it is heralded as the breakthrough that can save the world. We recommend FAQ 6.5, which explains the difference between Jeremy’s explanation and pseudo-idealism, and FAQ 1.13, which explains the originality of his work.

Intriguing, after watching the interview ,I’m compelled to read more ,listen more, and surround myself with Jeremys work .Songs have different meaning .Watching interactions with my family and peers take on a new life .I feel I’m at the cusp of learning something life shifting I’m curious
Maryam Mostafavi
Hi,
It was really interesting and informative to listen to this interview. The interviewer was very good at summarizing what was said and making it understandable.
I just had a question:
I am an Iranian Shia Muslim and I have been brought up with religious teachings since the beginning of my life. In these teachings, we were taught that human beings are the most honorable of creations.
Man’s position is higher than all the angels (in your interpretation, those who follow their instincts in our real world could be bobones ). God asked all the angels to prostrate to Adam. Because he had given him all the knowledge.
Man has never been called an evil after being expelled from heaven, he is still respected and the dignity of man has always been emphasized.
His difference from creatures that live based on their instinct is that he can choose. He has free will, that is why he is respected.
Therefore, as a Muslim woman, I do not blame myself or being upset. In contrary I always know that I am superior to all creatures and that I was expelled from heaven precisely because I can choose and I have a choice.
This is what made me superior.
If I follow the temptations of Satan, of course, I will be far away from salvation and peace.
So, in our religious teachings, man is expelled from heaven because of his superiority over Satan and the jealousy of Evil .
Now, during his life, with the direct teachings that God has given him and the teachings that the prophets later perfected, he should be able to become such a human being who chooses the right path by his own free will, not by his instinct. The serenity is accomplished.
These teachings are very clear and popular in our religion in Iran, just search and get acquainted with Persian poetry.
My question:
How can I explain my believes with these explanation ?
Many thanks for your attention.
Maryam
WTM Admin
Thank you for your question and interest Maryam. Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or religion, it simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact Jeremy has a deep respect for religious scripture which he often considers to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life. (Our FAQs about religion include FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ and FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.) The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation. You may also like to read our response to Karen’s question above about the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible being a pre-scientific metaphor for the emergence of consciousness as you also mention free will and our choice not to follow our instincts.

Thankfully, this seems to be one of the too-sparse signs of hopefulness in this phase of humankind’s evolution... We can do much, much more than just be hopeful - this is entirely up to us!
WTM Admin
It is certainly the 11th hour but yes we can do much, much more than just be hopeful now because at last we have the fundamental explanation of the human condition we have been in search of! As Jeremy Griffith says in this interview: “We humans have absolutely lived in hope, faith and trust that one day, somewhere, some place, all the efforts of everyone—but of scientists in particular—would finally produce the completely redeeming, uplifting and healing understanding of us humans. I know it must seem outrageous to claim that this goal of goals has finally been achieved, but it has. In fact, the human condition is such a difficult subject for us humans to confront and deal with that I couldn’t be talking about it so openly and freely if it hadn’t been solved.” Our FAQ 1.5 explains how having the explanation of the human condition transforms our lives!
Margarita Valarezo
Your information is a medicine for the soul!
That by this time should be spread around the world in all languages!
Because the humans need URGENTE!
Thank you so much
Beata
I was absolutely fascinated by your interview!! It was amazing and I was so happy to hear and can’t wait to hear more about The Human Condition! I’ve had depression for years and am so happy to hear
WTM Admin
Thank you for your enthusiastic comment Beata, and the human condition has certainly caused so much unbearable suffering for humans, it has been a deeply tragic and depressing reality. The core breakthrough of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can know our psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. So we can now look after ourselves and others with great compassion and kindness and we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us as FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure / Advice for people with mental health issues’ summarises.

Can you explain in simpler terms
WTM Admin
While great care has been taken to present the information as quickly and simply as possible (which is done in Part 1 of THE Interview) explanation of the human condition can be initially difficult to access. This is because it has been the most terrifying of subjects to face as it is the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad as a species, and we have necessarily lived in almost total denial of it. We suggest looking at The Great Guilt where Jeremy Griffith explains this initial ‘deaf effect’ and how to overcome it. Also FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept.
Russell Murphy
Extraordinary work. The awareness of these simple concepts fighting within our consciousness will finally bring about a lucid understanding of what makes humans act in the way it is unfolding. So now the way of change is clearer, and our future is again, hopeful. Thank you from my ❤️
Steve
WOW !!!, a life changing explanation.

I have felt for decades:
“With Understanding there is no Anger.”
WTM Admin
Yes, understanding has always brought relief to any situation, but what is being presented here is the ultimate understanding! We can now see that all our anger and frustration is, at base, a result of a conflict between our intellect and our cooperative instincts. This conflict led to an undeserved sense of guilt and insecurity that caused us to become psychologically angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition. Now that we can explain and understand this conflict and the guilt it produced, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition.
Raul Cardona
Amazing idea!
Richard j Davis
How do we get this information to the world?
WTM Admin
As Jeremy Griffith points out in Part 2 of THE Interview the issue of the human condition has been such a denied and off-limits subject that confronting it represents the “biggest of all blasphemies”, and how “science progresses funeral by funeral” when it comes to supporting big paradigm shifts like this. So it is up to the resolve of individuals, including scientists, to help the WTM break through the road block of the legitimate fear and resulting deaf effect the subject of the human condition causes in most people. You might find these links helpful: FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream’ and FAQ 3.4 ‘How can I help the WTM’.
Having said that, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point in terms of awareness of this great breakthrough, you can see from the excitement and relief in our ecstatic responses to THE Interview, we are well on our way! Also, on our homepage, you can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world!

This understanding is something especially important to ponder. I say this as someone who did not experience selfless and loving nurture and always felt that I needed to prove my goodness and worthiness in the world. Amazing facts, got me thinking twice about everything, I feel as though I have been reborn hearing this information. So grateful and appreciative of information.
Jo perry
An idea that those with money and power would never allow the loving person to bring to the fore.
Among many ideas of where thousands of years ago humanity lost our way. Today religious society’s will never accept everything written here by this brilliant Australian author
WTM Admin
Hi Jo, your first concern is addressed in our FAQ 1.40 ‘How can you hope to transform the world? – In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It is explained there that even those who are most committed to seeking validation through gaining power and wealth, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, biological explanation of the human condition that establishes our worth at the most fundamental level.
And while that search for liberating knowledge was underway, it is true that religion in-effect condemned the conscious mind’s all-important search for knowledge, however we can now appreciate that religion has played a significant role as both the custodian of the ideal state and as a means of solace for those exhausted by the corrupting journey. This understanding presents a massive paradigm shift in our thinking, Jo, but what people discover is Jeremy Griffith’s work actually reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. In fact, it presents the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves, see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’ and FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’. It represents the end of faith and dogma and the beginning of knowing.

I have been wondering about our origins through the different mythologies and the Jewish-Christian traditions…this is a surprising and beautiful analysis of thinking about it with the contribution of so many thinkers…
WTM Admin
Yes, George, this reconciling understanding of the human condition at last makes it possible to explain and demystify all mythology, including Moses' great orgin stories from the Jewish Christian traditions. As explained in Freedom Essay 39, along with describing when Resignation became universal through the Noah’s Ark story (see Freedom Essay 38), Moses “gave us the honest description of how the emergence of consciousness led to the corruption of humans in his Genesis story in the Bible of the banishment of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden of our species’ original cooperative and loving innocent state. And using the story of Cain and Abel, Moses recognised the fundamental truth that humanity has progressed from a state of innocence to a state of upset, and how, following the advent of agriculture, that progression eventually led to warfare.”
Linda Juralewicz
I have traveled far and wide in my journey to find the key to finding my purpose and how to be truly happy. This information is a God send in that it explains what the human condition is all about. In the world we live in currently, I find it is extremely difficult to be happy with who I am and how I can survive the disregard for the human condition in the administrators of our government. This material will help me to understand the meaning of being human so that I can support others in their spiritual journey.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your heartfelt comment, Linda. Yes, at last we have the truth about humans that frees us from our fundamental insecurity about our self worth, bringing true peace and happiness to our lives, which is just so utterly relieving and liberating!! If you haven’t already visited our Transformation page it is a must as it further explains how, with this completely redeeming, uplifting and healing biological understanding of the core mystery and problem about human behaviour of our human condition, we can rehabilitate and transform our lives and world. We also encourage you to join our Facebook Group, as we think you will find inspiring the extraordinary discussions taking place there.

This is what I’ve said but in much less professional terms. It makes perfect sense
WTM Admin
Glad to see that it is resonating with you Wanda. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.

As a Buddhist for many years and a student of ancient spiritual traditions like Vedanta, Buddhism and others, I believe that the salvation of the human race comes, as enlightenment, from the inside out and this movement and its purpose can advance our spiritual path and achieve our highest human potential to save our species and planet.
WTM Admin
Yes, while Buddhism and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.

I am a psychologist by training , retired as a faculty member in Iran , now living in Canada .
I studied biology as a first degree and continued to earn PhD in educational and learning psychology ' I have been teaching philosophy and scientific revolution during all my teaching years at universities ....
I discovered professor Grifith through youtube ads I think ,,,, and ever since my first encounter with his teachings a year ago up to now , I have not rested a minute
after all those years of teaching existential philosophy and HUMAN CONDITION I have come to the point of declaring prof GRIFITH’s FREEDOM is the only humanist perspective worth teaching as a required , prerequisite course at every college and university around the globe ,
I have started to teach his philosophy in my online classe for Farsi speaking intellectuals video by video !!!!!
... THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES PROFESSOR GRIFITH for adding to this world .
Jim Gregory
Fascinating information that actually FEELS true. Not sure how it will actually change my life as I am not ‘evil’ and already do all I can to contribute usefully to society.
How can everyone be helped to re-connect to our true roots?
WTM Admin
Thank you for your feedback and interest, Jim. Essentially, we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are humans so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. The human condition manifests in different ways in all of us as a result of our own experiences and exposure to the world, but the clash between instinct and intellect is the source of the overall insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation that underlies all human affairs, and so explaining it makes all those defensive behaviours redundant. We also recommend FAQs 1.4-1.6 as they talk about the rapidly transforming effects of this new, world-changing knowledge.

Just look at the daily ecstatic responses on our homepage, to see the relief and excitement of finally be able to make sense of human life is turning into a tidal wave of world-saving support!! As Part 4 of THE Interview and FAQ 1.40 explain, while the world is fast approaching a point of no return, this understanding will turn things around incredibly quickly, because it explains and solves the underlying cause of all our selfishness, anger and egocentricity. We also recommend reading Freedom Essay 15: ‘How your life can immediately be transformed'. Also on our homepage you can see all the outstanding commendations for Jeremy Griffith’s work from leading thinkers and scientists and our growing network of WTM centres all around the world.

You are way off base.

Why is this so groundbreaking, what diff will it make !?
WTM Admin
As THE Interview explains solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source so we can actually stop the destruction of ourselves and save the world. So it couldn’t be a bigger breakthrough and the difference it makes is enormous! We can now understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness, so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. This is the rapidly transforming effect of being able to understand the human condition. We suggest the following FAQs: FAQ 1.5 ‘Why is this important to my life?’, FAQ 1.6 ‘Why this solves everything?’ and FAQ 1.14 ‘If this is so important why isn’t it mainstream?’

JNN
This book should not be ignored at all. Thanks Jeremy for this authentic research.
Lars
So its basically free will? How would that be healing???
WTM Admin
It is healing because we can now understand that to master the incredible potential of the conscious mind’s ability to self-manage, or our ‘free will’, the mind had to defy our loving but dictatorial instincts which resulted in humans becoming angry, egocentric and alienated — the upset state of our human condition. Significantly psychological upset or a psychosis can be healed with understanding, so our upset behaviour is not unchangeable or immutable – a revelation that transforms the human race! The Great Guilt presentation, that follows THE Interview, further explains just how relieving and healing finally being able to understand why we had to defy our loving, cooperative instincts is—it actually lifts The Great Burden Of Guilt from the human race! Click here to start watching this astonishingly powerful presentation.

We need more clarity.
WTM Admin
If you mean universally yes we certainly have Jane and that is exactly what Jeremy Griffith’s explanation does! The depth of clarity Jeremy’s world saving presentation in THE Interview gives us provides the lasting solution to all the chaos and suffering in human life, see FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’ If you are referring to the presentation needing more clarity we recommend reading and/or watching THE Interview’s companion presentation, The Great Guilt, which further outlines the definition of our human condition, and why engagement with the subject can be initially hard to grasp.

WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Rashid. We certainly respect people’s religious views and wanted to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in religion or God. In fact Jeremy has a deep respect for religious scripture which he often considers to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth, containing all the truth about human life albeit from a pre-science view, which his work simply brings biological understanding to. This is explained in our FAQ 6.3 ‘Does understanding of the human condition undermine a faith in religion or God?’. Also our FAQ 5.4 about consciousness is also worth including.

Dear Jeremy …..Too many LONG words for the average reader .

Greed and fear is what motivates humans. Sexual instincts drives us. Ignorance and a need for knowledge of our existence is what led us to ‘invent’ religions.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comments Marje. We agree fear does drive our behaviour but we disagree that it is because we have competitive animal instincts rather, as THE Interview explains, it is because we are deeply fearful of the issue of the human condition. Jeremy Griffith evidences this key biological distinction that humans suffer from the conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled human condition, not the genetic-opportunism-based, animal condition (see Part 3). We suggest people watch the companion presentation to THE Interview titled The Great Guilt that causes the Deaf Effect which can be watched or read here on our website. This presentation comprehensively deals with our understandable fear and cynicism about confronting the human condition and provides astonishing clarification of why discussion of it causes most people to initially experience a ‘Deaf Effect’ to what’s being presented and put that down to the delivery of the presentation rather than its content.
In terms of religion the human condition is the study of humans capacity for acts of both so-called ‘good and evil’. It is the realm of inquiry where science and religion overlap, so in explaining the human condition religion is also explained. This represents a reconciliation of science and religion, see FAQ 1.15.

If you look at it from the Complex PTSD angle , you see how every child is damaged by parents who were damaged.
Work, school, people, no unconditional love.
Not being loved, one can’t love themselves, blunt instruments hurt.
True love asks for nothing.
Certainly something developmental.
WTM Admin
At last we can compassionately explain why we haven’t been able to give unconditional love to ourselves, each other and our children. In this interview and his definitive book FREEDOM Jeremy explains the importance of nurturing in the maturation of humanity and in our own lives, but because humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge compromised our ability to nurture, it has been one of those extremely confronting truths that humans, without understanding of the corrupting journey to find knowledge, have had no choice but to largely live in denial of. We highly recommend you read chapter 6:13 of FREEDOM titled, ‘Nurturing now becomes a priority’ Zel. There Jeremy explains that “now that we have found that very good reason why parents have been unable to nurture their children with anything like the unconditional love children instinctively expect and need, it is no longer necessary to deny the importance of nurturing both in the maturation of our species and in our own lives. Yes, with the arrival of understanding the terrible guilt that parents have felt for not being able to adequately nurture their offspring departs. Parents can now understand that their inability to adequately love their offspring is not their fault, but the product of the ever-accumulating levels of upset in the human race as a whole that resulted from our species’ heroic 2-million-year search for knowledge, specifically for self-knowledge, understanding of why we conscious humans are good and not bad. So yes, we can finally now admit the importance of nurturing and turn our attention back to the nurturing of our offspring—in fact, it now becomes a matter of great urgency that we do both these things.”

This makes so much sense! Thank you 😊

It seems to me that scientists would easily get on board with this. The dogmatic religions will probably not accept it because it doesn’t support their need for a god.
WTM Admin
Yes, those with a more fundamentalist interpretation of religion can struggle, but we do feel it is important to mention that Jeremy Griffith’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, or the Bible’s content. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts.

I always suspected as much. Buddhist teachings are very close to this theory. I would love to have lived in the world before the fall.
WTM Admin
While Buddhism and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view.
With regard to wanting to live ‘before the fall’, we suggest that living in a world in which the reconciling, redeeming and all-liberating explanation of the human condition has been found is the most exciting thing that could ever happen to a human! With our angry, divisive condition explained and defended, true peace and joy and love will now come to the world. We have no doubt you’ll enjoy Chapter 9 of FREEDOM, which explains the great transformation of the human race.

I appreciate your thoughts. I look forward to learning more.

I have always been taught that mankind is innately good and that it is only the monetary system of private ownership of land and the means of production causing inequality and wars instigated by the owning class that causes the barbarian behaviour, via the patriotic conditioning.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts, Chris. The explanation of the human condition does take time to digest but as THE Interview explains our anger, egocentricity, and alienation from our all-loving, cooperative instincts, isn’t the result of the advent of the “monetary system”, rather it is the result of a psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect (which Video/Freedom Essay 3 further explains). Significantly a psychosis is changeable as it can be healed through understanding so the solution is simple and all-powerful (see FAQ 1.4). Also, you can read an in-depth description of the history of competition-emphasising biology and left wing, cooperation-emphasising biology in Jeremy Griffith’s booklet Death by Dogma (see the section titled ‘The progression of biological arguments that led to the rise of Critical Theory’). This section also deals with the view that the source of human selfishness, greed and conflict was the accumulation of possessions following the advent of agriculture and a sedentary society.
Angelo
Religions, such as Christianity have explained this condition more completely. Darwin couldn’t explain our moral instincts but religion teaches that we were created in God’s image. As such we chose to be good and cooperative but as evil was realized as a possibility we could also choose, and we , in fact, chose it; things went down hill. When things go down hill momentum builds and we get ever increasing frequency and intensity of evil.
WTM Admin
Hi Angelo, while Christianity and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. What yu got is only a hypothesis, not even a theory. Just like the big bang proposition. Yu got nothing. We still don’t know.
WTM Admin
You can know that Jeremy Griffith has at last got to the bottom of the human condition and found the redeeming explanation of it, because as he explains in paragraph 73 of FREEDOM, the ultimate test of any hypothesis is how accountable it is of our own lives – as the greatest of all physicists, Albert Einstein, once said that ‘truth is what stands the test of experience’. And so you can know that this is the breakthrough explanation of the human condition because once you understand the explanation and begin to apply it, you will discover it is so able to make sense of human behaviour it makes it transparent. This transparency of ourselves and our world—for example, the exposure of all our falseness—that this understanding of the human condition brings, is the ultimate ‘test of experience’ that confirms that the understanding being presented here is the long-sought explanation of the human condition. In this particular scientific study—the biological analysis of the human condition—we humans are the subjects, which means we can experience, feel and know the truthfulness or otherwise of the explanations being put forward. And so, fantastic a claim as it may seem, you will find that what is being presented here is the long-sought-after, desperately needed, psychosis-addressing-and-resolving, human race-transforming explanation of the human condition.
And as is explained in FAQ 1.20: “Throughout FREEDOM it is demonstrated how the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation demystifies not just the human condition, but all aspects of human behaviour. It quickly becomes clear that not only are the facts and logic underlying the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation established and unarguable, the theory also has an extraordinary ‘explanatory power’, which is one of the essential qualities of a scientific theory."

The world now needs action....Jeremy mentions that the humans act with good intentions but then are hypocritical and act in such evil ways.....this man is giving out information that we need to follow and germinate a more balanced..healthier world..get rid of inequality...greed...get rid of institutions like politics where money money and power reign supreme.....living is not about control...it’s about all humans living in total freedom to live a live that all of us have a right too. ..we are not slaves to no master.....individuals who are wealthy and have power become evil and use their power to take advantage of others who are equal to them...Our media creates this evil world and also needs to be abolished...change will not occur if we continue to live within a environment where evil forces are controlling everything.I tell people that our economical models are a poison that creates greed ..power and evil behavior that leads ro mental illness and sickness spread throughout our communities Thank-you Jeremy for your brilliant work and your work to I.prove our world...you truly are a Saint....good luck and never give up the fight...living is worth fighting for...

Thank you for sharing your enlightening work. I look forward to reading the book.
Insight of human condition started the war in me to no more of the human condition as at last there is a solution.
I really want to read the book, thanks so much 🙏

This is in the bible. Adam and Eve “ate the fruit of the tree” and then had a conscience mind.
AMAZING!!!
Intriguing, after watching the interview ,I’m compelled to read more ,listen more, and surround myself with Jeremys work .Songs have different meaning .Watching interactions with my family and peers take on a new life .I feel I’m at the cusp of learning something life shifting I’m curious
Hi, It was really interesting and informative to listen to this interview. The interviewer was very good at summarizing what was said and making it understandable. I just had a question: I am an Iranian Shia Muslim and I have been brought up with religious teachings since the beginning of my life. My question: How can I explain my believes with these explanation ? Many thanks for your attention. Maryam
Powerful!
Thankfully, this seems to be one of the too-sparse signs of hopefulness in this phase of humankind’s evolution... We can do much, much more than just be hopeful - this is entirely up to us!
Your information is a medicine for the soul! That by this time should be spread around the world in all languages! Because the humans need URGENTE! Thank you so much
I was absolutely fascinated by your interview!! It was amazing and I was so happy to hear and can’t wait to hear more about The Human Condition! I’ve had depression for years and am so happy to hear
This wonderful Allow us to have more wisdom
It was an absolutely amazing interview, everybody should at least listen to it, at least once, and read the book as well as adviding prople all around to listen to lohical research and findings, this could and will change the human race forever.. people all over this planet should immediately leave behind any idia or action and just listen!!
Watch it. Recommend, as not a waste of time!.. Both men and team behind interview – great job very true!
Eye opening
Can you explain in simpler terms
Extraordinary work. The awareness of these simple concepts fighting within our consciousness will finally bring about a lucid understanding of what makes humans act in the way it is unfolding. So now the way of change is clearer, and our future is again, hopeful. Thank you from my ❤️
WOW !!!, a life changing explanation.
I have felt for decades: “With Understanding there is no Anger.”
Amazing idea!
How do we get this information to the world?
As Jeremy Griffith points out in Part 2 of THE Interview the issue of the human condition has been such a denied and off-limits subject that confronting it represents the “biggest of all blasphemies”, and how “science progresses funeral by funeral” when it comes to supporting big paradigm shifts like this. So it is up to the resolve of individuals, including scientists, to help the WTM break through the road block of the legitimate fear and resulting deaf effect the subject of the human condition causes in most people. You might find these links helpful: FAQ 1.14 ‘Why aren’t these ideas mainstream’ and FAQ 3.4 ‘How can I help the WTM’.Having said that, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’” And so even though we haven’t yet reached the tipping point in terms of awareness of this great breakthrough, you can see from the excitement and relief in our ecstatic responses to THE Interview, we are well on our way! Also, on our homepage, you can see the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work with outstanding commendations from thought leaders and WTM Centres all over the world!Amazing !!!!!
This understanding is something especially important to ponder. I say this as someone who did not experience selfless and loving nurture and always felt that I needed to prove my goodness and worthiness in the world. A seed of hope in transforming these damaging beliefs has just sprouted. Thank you!
Un grand MERCI pour le généreux partage de votre compréhension du dilemme interne de tous les humains ! Nous sommes intrinsèquement bons et aimants, ça fait beaucoup de bien de le savoir :-) [A big THANK YOU for generously sharing your understanding of the internal dilemma of all humans! We are inherently good and loving, it’s very important to know that :-) (Tr. from French)]
Amazing facts, got me thinking twice about everything, I feel as though I have been reborn hearing this information. So grateful and appreciative of information.
An idea that those with money and power would never allow the loving person to bring to the fore. Among many ideas of where thousands of years ago humanity lost our way. Today religious society’s will never accept everything written here by this brilliant Australian author
It represents the end of faith and dogma and the beginning of knowing.I loved the interview This scientist is a deep thinker that causes me to search and question humanity .
This breakthrough explaining the human condition is amazing and priceless thank you WTM.
I am grateful for coming across this I am in deep discovery of knowledge suddenly available to me as I listen with my heart and soul thank you look forward to hearing more
Very interesting
I have been wondering about our origins through the different mythologies and the Jewish-Christian traditions…this is a surprising and beautiful analysis of thinking about it with the contribution of so many thinkers…
Very impressive.
Share Share Share . It is that important.
This is what I’ve said but in much less professional terms. It makes perfect sense
Wanting more

Many thanks to Jeremy Griffith for investing time in a research with such an explanation of the human condition. Let’s hope that this biological explanation influences world decision makers, and may human troubles that bring about wars get rehabilitated once and for all!
Love the interview, thank you for explaining
I would like to have it translated to portuguse to be able to pass it on as I live in Brasil.
Hi Patricia, thank you for your support. THE Interview is available to read in Portuguese – go to our Translations page at https://www.humancondition.com/translations/! Also people can watch THE Interview (and all the videos on our website) using the closed captions or subtitles function in their native language (just click on the ‘cc’ icon at the bottom of the video player/window).
THANK YOU!!!I Am so GRATEFUL for this Wisdom
Very illuminating indeed - hopefully we can now reverse the “terminal psychosis” stage we are in today -
This interview has helped me personally to understand who l am and where l come from, it has helped me to understand that human beings are not bad at all, all we needed is to understand ourselves better.
To arrive back at the point where we began, but this time with an understand of our condition. It is an ultimate truth that cannot be un-learned :-)
Best news in my 84 years of life!! Makes me feel hopeful for the human race once more. Thank u so much Jeremy u made my day.
Yes, while Buddhism and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view.
I discovered professor Grifith through youtube ads I think ,,,, and ever since my first encounter with his teachings a year ago up to now , I have not rested a minute after all those years of teaching existential philosophy and HUMAN CONDITION I have come to the point of declaring prof GRIFITH’s FREEDOM is the only humanist perspective worth teaching as a required , prerequisite course at every college and university around the globe ,
I have started to teach his philosophy in my online classe for Farsi speaking intellectuals video by video !!!!! ... THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES PROFESSOR GRIFITH for adding to this world .
Fascinating information that actually FEELS true. Not sure how it will actually change my life as I am not ‘evil’ and already do all I can to contribute usefully to society. How can everyone be helped to re-connect to our true roots?
A wonderful initiativ for bringing us humans and other beings on earth into closer hope for a very good development.
Wonderful insight into this subject
Really like to be part of this movement

We’re a long way to total transformation, but this is very refreshing to hear. I’ll be listening and watching for more...
We are closer to total transformation than you think Nikko!
🫶🏻
It was good to realise that many people appreciated the comments that had been made.
This book should not be ignored at all. Thanks Jeremy for this authentic research.
So its basically free will? How would that be healing???
Wow a true mental struggle that I have felt all my life.

Can’t wait to hear this.
I have always know that deep down no matter how bad or good one is. Our true nature as human beings is love. Thank you for finding why we behave in the opposite of our true nature. Errol
Please read the Noble Quran and learn a lot more about human consciousness and human condition,
Thank you for your comment Rashid.
Very interesting to say the least!
Interesting and informative
Dear Jeremy …..Too many LONG words for the average reader .
Greed and fear is what motivates humans. Sexual instincts drives us. Ignorance and a need for knowledge of our existence is what led us to ‘invent’ religions.
This represents a reconciliation of science and religion, see FAQ 1.15.This I truly believe in what he has to say and will keep reading and listening to what he has to say .
So true
Wonderful information.
Wow becoming full cycle
I love this site
If you look at it from the Complex PTSD angle , you see how every child is damaged by parents who were damaged. Work, school, people, no unconditional love. Not being loved, one can’t love themselves, blunt instruments hurt. True love asks for nothing. Certainly something developmental.

This is absolutely true
Inspiring
I always suspected as much. Buddhist teachings are very close to this theory. I would love to have lived in the world before the fall.
While Buddhism and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.With regard to wanting to live ‘before the fall’, we suggest that living in a world in which the reconciling, redeeming and all-liberating explanation of the human condition has been found is the most exciting thing that could ever happen to a human! With our angry, divisive condition explained and defended, true peace and joy and love will now come to the world. We have no doubt you’ll enjoy Chapter 9 of FREEDOM, which explains the great transformation of the human race.I appreciate your thoughts. I look forward to learning more.
I have always been taught that mankind is innately good and that it is only the monetary system of private ownership of land and the means of production causing inequality and wars instigated by the owning class that causes the barbarian behaviour, via the patriotic conditioning.
Hi Angelo, while Christianity and other religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy’s work, as well as our FAQs on Religion generally. You may also be interested in Freedom Essay 21 in which Jeremy explains ‘How did we humans acquire our all-loving, unconditionally selfless moral conscience?’.
This is the one thing that makes sense and a new beginning for many, this needs to reach every person on this planet. I don’t think I have ever been so engrossed, respect and love.
Great session
Thankyou … our appreciation goes beyond measure .
I am interested in understanding the fine details of the book and hence buy it to comment. Thank you
Thank you for opening my eyes with the understanding that we are innately good and to never doubt that. The sense of relief I am feeling is amazing. You’re a blessing.❤🙏❤
How can I get this information in print or book to read and study. Thank you
Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM (along with his other key books, including THE Interview) is freely available to download or read online HERE on our homepage. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. (Otherwise you can purchase hard copies from Amazon or other good bookstores.)
What yu got is only a hypothesis, not even a theory. Just like the big bang proposition. Yu got nothing. We still don’t know.
It quickly becomes clear that not only are the facts and logic underlying the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation established and unarguable, the theory also has an extraordinary ‘explanatory power’, which is one of the essential qualities of a scientific theory."Verry happy to find this information.
So glad of this info, so amazing. keep sending more great info like this my way .
Thank you for sharing! The world needs this so desperately
This is desperately sought.
Very grateful for finding you. A lot of stuff falling in to place now.
Wow so science had to explain it to us ! So now we can see the forest from the 🌲 trees
Yes, while the arts and philosophy and religion all contained extraordinarily profound truth about human life, ultimately to understand our true nature and solve the human condition we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents.
I am totally in and with you, finding the true light of the family of Earth and beings, lit! This astonishingly resonates with the long tried and awaited path yet to be real in my eyes, and where there is no (unnecessary or untrue) division under whatever and in whatever way wrapped up remained, but into understanding, love and loving steps. There is no East, West, ancient or Contemporary in love, wisdom and living the Light of the true, together. I am all sure under this all can come together to light each other finally, as all the rivers of time, regions, what not, meet in the ocean of humanity. With Profound release finally and the gratitude for your such sacred heart of lifework! k
Finally feel why I am here on this planet. All the consciousness I’ve ever felt explained. So comforting to know I’m right. Thank you
