A great relief, settles the confusion of the ego!

Ginna Trinh

Thanks so much for the findings. We’ve always been wondering as to whether the human is born good or bad. This has been in debate by philosophers for thousands of years. Now everything is clear and yes it is a huge relief to keep trusting the good. Thanks again for the great enlightenment. Your work is hugely meaningful to mankind. So much grateful for the findings.

what i understand : consciousness is the begining of all our problems !...that’s what i think since sometime : consciousness is the illness of humanity !, the begining of all problems for humans, as you show us bonobo live in peace, in an “intelligent” way but without consciousness. my question is : do you think they can live like this with consciousness ? in another way consciousness will finaly save or kill humans ?. should consciousness be the solution after beiing the problem ? we still dont know....i hope so, but i am not sure very rich and dominants people of the world begin to share and change their mind after this news

WTM Admin

Hi Bruno. There is a lot to absorb here, so we do hope you take your time and watch THE Interview at least one more time. What is explained is that when the conscious mind went in search of knowledge a conflict between our instinct and intellect broke out, leading to an undeserved sense of guilt and insecurity that caused us to become psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition—a state we sought to alleviate through a competitive, selfish and aggressive bid for the reinforcement we could gain from winning power, fame, fortune and glory. But now that we can explain and understand this conflict and the guilt it produced, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition. We suggest these two FAQs will help as you digest this further.  FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’ and FAQ 1.40 ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

Danielle Hawe

Wow

Rosa

It’s all about our conscious minds; very true info, god bless

Stephen R Lange

Validated what is the journey of human experience. Changing our understanding or redefining the contradictions of our existence. I look forward to reading the book.

Nicholas Mooney

Looks good.

Khepra Ptah

This is important because we are beyond our perceived condition and do not have submit to some lower instincts because our true original condition is loving and peaceful 🙏🏾

WTM Admin

Thanks Khepra. We can actually now see that the source of our selfish, destructive behaviour is not ‘lower instincts’ but the result of a conflict between our instinct and intellect, leading to an undeserved sense of guilt and insecurity that caused us to become psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric, the upset state we refer to as the human condition.

Lisane Lykles

Absolutely brilliant, loved the interview and talks please keep on with this information get it out everywhere. The world is saved. Thank you from my Soul to yours

Very interesting and so much to learn and understand. Thank You!!

Interesting indeed

Randall Knauss

You both use the term “conscience” ..should this term be used , and not “sentient ”? The ability of reason is in more than 1 species...what about Dolfin (porpoise) and whales the marine mammals have this trait as well as compassion...a thought

WTM Admin

Hi Randall, thanks for your comment. We suspect in your question you mean ‘conscious’ rather than ‘conscience’ (conscience being the voice of our moral instinctive self or soul). The word ‘conscious’ is used because we can now admit exactly what ‘consciousness’ is, which as Jeremy explains in Part 2 of THE Interview, is “being able to sufficiently understand the relationship between cause and effect to become conscious of, or aware of, or intelligent about those relationships.” So while other animals clearly have various levels of ‘awareness’, or are ‘sentient’ and able to perceive or feel things, none are ‘conscious’ in the fundamental sense that none can consciously manage events like humans can. Therefore it is accurate to describe humans as the only animals possessing ‘fully conscious minds’, see FAQ 5.5 ‘Aren’t other animals capable of conscious thought like humans? / How can you say humans are the only fully conscious animals?’     Also we recommend Chapter 7 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation of how full consciousness developed in humans as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process which is absolutely fascinating (summarised in FAQ 5.4 ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’).

Kerrieanne

Watched the ad for this interview many times, finally clicked on it, now starting to understand why we hesitate in life. Brilliant.

WTM Admin

Well done Kerrieanne. Yes, the human condition, which is the astronomical guilt we all carry for having destroyed our original all-loving, innocent state, has historically been a terrifying subject, so we have wisely chosen to deny and avoid the whole subject! But now the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation defends us humans and makes the whole subject safe, so we are missing out on the greatest gift of understanding ourselves if we keep choosing to live in denial! We recommend reading and/or watching Jeremy Griffith’s presentation, The Great Guilt, which outlines more comprehensively the definition of our human condition, and why it has been such a terrifying subject.

Barb

It all sounds very interesting and worthwhile so take the time to watch…

Adam Black

Don’t believe it... one example... low testosterone verses high testosterone. Heard of Steroid Rage. To understand the human condition, I think one needs to look at the bigger picture, eg. the Universe and Life and the meaning of it... why are it/we here. Keep searching I would say. I will leave it there.

Mark Langley

But... how are you going to change the outlook of those with the biggest stake in the way we have lived... the rich and the powerful? Surely their is the issue to making instant change! I agree and love this catch all explanation. I see how it rings true and I feel it instinctively, you’ve just simply articulated well what was there for me. Thanks 😊

WTM Admin

Hi Mark, we suggest the more you digest this presentation, the more you realise that the human condition is behind all our actions and motivations, including our greed, indifference and need for power. The point is that our greed and the power it affords is a symptom of our insecure, human condition afflicted state. It follows that if you address that underlying insecurity, then our greed and need for power (along with all our other artificial sources of reinforcement) will be removed. And that is what this understanding does – it addresses and solves that core insecurity about our self-worth. In fact, this redeeming, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fortune and glory. You might be interested in FAQ 1.40, which addresses ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’

Teresea J.

Powerful! Deep! Life-changing information! HalleluYah!

Velaj

It’s so amazing! I think stuff changes because of this and our ego of wanting more and more.

Iain johnston

Isn’t this just jonathon Livingston seagull on mild steroids?

WTM Admin

There has been a recognition in literature (and by profound thinkers generally) that there must be something better than our current human condition-afflicted state. However, many people have deluded themselves that this liberated state could be achieved through people artificially restraining, sublimating and even transcending their upset, corrupted condition, but the truth is that this state could only be achieved by confronting, truthfully thinking about, and finally explaining and thus solving the human condition at its source, which is what Jeremy Griffith has done. In the end it was only getting to the bottom of it all, not transcendence, that could fulfil Richard Bach’s allegorical quest for perfection.

Pat Austin

Wow! If only we stayed like the bonobo! I had an inkling that our behaviours ie aggression, etc, was perhaps eventually triggered by one-upmanship, dissatisfaction with our lot, etc. We keep wanting more - and wanting it quickly. We have turned into a greedy, warring bunch, hell-bent on one-upmanship! I’m just skipping out to buy the book!

WTM Admin

Hi Pat, Jeremy Griffith’s book FREEDOM, along with all his key books, are immediately and freely available on our homepage so all you have to do is click HERE! (You can also download the free Kindle version from Amazon. Otherwise you can purchase hard copies from Amazon or other good bookstores.) There is a lot to think about and get your head around with explanation of the human condition but it is absolutely fascinating, especially the significance of the bonobos and understanding how we acquired our all-loving instincts or soul which answers one of the great scientific questions of our time. Also the key biological distinction Jeremy makes is that our aggressive and greedy behaviour comes from the conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled human condition, not the genetic-opportunism-based, animal condition as FAQ 1.3 summarises.

Genet Demisse

We have to focus basically in humanity. So this interview is important to understand human behaviour or conditions.

Rachelle Jarvi

The work and dedication to this is incredible. Thank you!

Walter Harris

What nonsense! If you had listened to what the Greek philosopher were saying. It was governments which was and always will be the cause of our problems. They cause us to hate each other, their give power to those of destroy our world, turn lies into the truths. In the dark ages, witches were the cause of men troubles, now it’s science. No thanks some of us can see, the truth without your help.

WTM Admin

With explanation of the human condition, we can now understand that everyone has suffered from it, and all our institutions, including governments, have been a manifestation of our insecure, psychologically upset condition. Only solving the human condition can stop the disintegration of society and the destruction of our world that is happening everywhere we look as our FAQ 1.6 summarises. The ancient Greeks had emblazoned across their temples the words “Man, know thyself” because it was only understanding of the psychological reason for why we humans have not been ideally behaved that could heal our upset condition.

Francis Jayme Medina

Science and Creation are one and the same

WTM Admin

The human condition is the study of humans’ capacity for so-called ‘good and evil’and is therefore the realm of inquiry where science and religion overlap, so in explaining the human condition religion is demystified and explained. As the Nobel prize-winning physicist Charles H. Townes said, “They [science and religion] both represent man’s efforts to understand his universe and must ultimately be dealing with the same substance. As we understand more in each realm, the two must grow together…converge they must..” By explaining the human condition Jeremy Griffith’s treatise actually brings about that convergence.     Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being briefly explained in THE Interview as being the integrative meaning of existence (see our FAQs about religion especially FAQs ‘What is God’ and ‘Does this understanding undermine religion’).

Getachew jigi demekssa

Very important for all of us, all human being must listen

Ion hk

I think other peope have spoken the pointt but good reminder for people Who dont live truth and rist and are Lost.

WTM Admin

Hi Ion, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish or so “lost” as you say. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new? / How does biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition differ from other theories that recognise these elements?’, as it explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.

Bob Poe

Do you remember the first event in your life when you became aware of your surroundings? When you suddenly had a realization of your environment? Does that mean that you had an awareness that the world around you existed with you in it? That must provide me an instinct even in infancy that i was part of a natural order. Growing up among the chaos of humans was/is almost totally destructive. Almost.

WTM Admin

Thank you for your thoughts Bob. THE Interview explains that all humans are born with loving moral instincts, or our soul, but when we developed consciousnness, some 2 million years ago, we had to defy our instincts in order to undertake the search for knowledge and champion our fully conscious mind. This conflict between our instincts and intellect resulted in us becoming psychologically upset (angry, egocentric and alienated). This upset caused the “chaos” of today’s world which is “almost totally destructive” to our all-sensitive soul. What is so extraordinary about Jeremy’s biological treatise is that it actually defends the conscious mind for becoming so alienated from our loving instinctive self. That is the great paradox of the human condition – we humans had to defy our instincts and become corrupted in self in order to find understanding of the human condition. Now with that found we can at last reconcile our divides selves and return to our selfless way of living or “natural order”, see FAQ 1.3.     Given the questions you raise about our own developing consciousness it is worth mentioning that in his definitive book FREEDOM Jeremy explains that the individual journey does mirror the species’ journey which is fascinating reading. To quote ch 8:2 The stages of humanity’s maturation from ignorance to enlightenment: “the stages humanity progressed through as this liberated consciousness developed...parallels with our own human life-stages, because the stages that we, as conscious individuals, progress through are the same stages our human ancestors progressed through—‘ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny’: our individual consciousness necessarily charts the same course that our species’ consciousness has taken as a whole.”

Patrick Ginter

A very good reasoning

Raymond Naidoo

Craig Wilson

What a wonderful thing to learn. I understand this and it has truly made sense of the crazy things I have been taught a whole life.

Mike Maria

Beautifully done!

Maria

If only humanity would wake up to the sleeping giant within they would be in heaven within. When man takes away the veil from his eyes perhaps than he will see the clearer picture of truth. The invisible force of life that creates our being is the truth of existence. We are energy made with love from a source far greater than man’s conscious understanding. Our inner light has been dimmed on the lower polarity of this earthly dimension we call life. When we set our spirit free from this matrix we will be able to see the bigger picture. When man is able to see within himself and forgive himself for participating unconsciously in the erroneous human conditioning and find peace within than he’ll be able to understand the meaning of love. To love thyself as well as thy neighbour as thyself for we are one with all creation…the Alfa and Omega. To truly understand this unconditional love and acceptance of the bigger picture is a gift given to those that can express it to our species.

WTM Admin

Ultimately Maria we needed to find scientific explanation for all that you speak of. For instance what is the sleeping giant within, why did we veil our eyes, what is the force of life that created us with love, why has our inner light dimmed, what can set us free from the matrix, how can we forgive ourselves for participating in the human condition, how can we love ourselves and our neighbours, what is unconditional love. All these questions are answered with Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of our human condition because at last we can understand that we are all born with an all-sensitive loving instinctive self or soul but when our fully conscious mind emerged it was our responsibility to champion that potential and to do that we had to defy and deny our soul. We had to lose or corrupt ourselves to find ourselves. Most of these questions are answered in THE Interview and also in our FAQ facility, see FAQ 5.3 ‘What is the Integrative Meaning of existence?’, FAQ 1.26 ‘What is soul, why has it been repressed?’, FAQ 5.2 ‘How did we acquire our moral soul’, FAQ 1.6 ‘How understanding solves everything’, FAQ 1.4 ‘How can everyone’s lives be immediately transformed?’

Good and informative.

Emma Kiloran Russell

Oh my goodness! I don’t even have to listen to the end (but certainly will when I have time). I have known this forever, but not been able to verbalise the thought. Brought up in a non-competitive family of six siblings: exam phobic/hate exams: no qualifications (beyond ski school/bicycling proficiency/windsurfing/lifesaving etc.): hate competitiveness of religions/homework/starting school too young (UK) etc. THIS IS MIND BLOWING! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all concerned. The revolution has truly started…🌈💖😍

Danny Steven's Hernandez.

This is unacceptable all this time ⏲️ we been waiting for someone like this and is a white guy.

WTM Admin

Ha! Seriously though, in Addendum 2 of his book Death by Dogma, Jeremy explains why the white, patriarchal, Judeo-Christian Western culture, like the right-wing in politics, has been one of the main targets for rejection by the pseudo idealistic, politically correct, ‘woke’, identity politics, cancel culture movement — but that it has finally delivered the explanation of the human condition that the whole world has been so desperately waiting for.

Aminat Adedayo

Impressive

Evelyn Dalipe

I agree with Jeremy’s explanation, we have to widen our understanding, let’s spread love and let us not forget our Creator.

WTM Admin

Thanks Evelyn. It is important to mention for readers of these comments that Jeremy’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, or the Bible’s content. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts, see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does understanding of the human condition undermine a faith in religion or God?’.

Yannick

Science uncovers and reveals many truths. I have found many spiritual truths within this physical resting place, many in the place before words, and honestly, I thank you. Thank you! Thank you!

WTM Admin

Yes, humanity has always had an intuitive awareness of the macro truth that despite all appearences we were fundamentally good, and that if you took away our preoccupation with the corrupting search for knowledge the universe is a miraculously beautiful place. Ultimately however, it wasn’t enough to ‘transcend’ our corrupted self in order to access this truths; our thinking mind needed understanding—specifically, scientific understanding of why when the ideals are to be loving and selfless are we so competitive and selfish? This is what Jeremy Griffith’s treatise does and why it is heralded as the breakthrough that can save the world. We recommend FAQ 6.5, which explains the difference between Jeremy’s explanation and new age thinking, and FAQ 6.7: ‘How can a scientific explanation ever hope to account for and encompass the great ‘spiritual’ dimension we know exists in life? / Isn’t ‘spirituality’ beyond a purely rational explanation?’

Jeanette Hilder

I believe in the human condition it makes total clear sense. Ive been worried about humanity for some time due to how disconnected we have become.

Dr Chandra Shekhar Prasad Vaishya

Jeremy! You are indeed bold enough to expose and explore the Biological truth of human beings. 👍 Keep rocking and challenging to discuss and discover the Biological truth which is from the infinity and would continue to infinity. 👍 😀 👌

Michael Dorame

Had me until he turned it into a left versus right issue. I wish he’d not made it political.

WTM Admin

This is a new paradigm, so it does take some time to absorb its implications, particularly with regard to politics. What you will find is that the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wing. We can now see that the left wing, with its insistence on ideal behaviour, has had the effect of oppressing the all-important, but corrupting, search for knowledge; whereas the right wing, through its support of the selfish individualism and freedom of expression that the search required, actually occuppied the moral ground. However, in the end, what the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation does is bring about a profound understanding to both sides which ultimately will bring an end to the whole ugly business of politics. This is fully explained in our FAQs about politics.

Fabian

Wonderful!

Crystal

I felt immediate relief listening to Jeremy’s explanation of the human condition.

Dean boylan

It’s like this, who was there when the first birth of child? How did they know how to feed and raise a child? This has been a question I wonder about. And so forth, so, on. And om. How, the winters of man could even know how food. To keep to survive. It’s more than just the basics instincts

WTM Admin

Hi Dean, it is explained that the original genetic instinct for maternalism is a naturally selected instinctive orientation that evolved because it promotes the perpetuation of its genes through better protecting its offspring. HOWEVER, in Part 3 of THE Interview it is explained that over time, through the love indoctrination process, maternalism became a case of mothers actively loving their offspring — which was to prove the unlocking point for our species to develop our altruistic, moral instinctive self or soul, and our unique consciousness. You can read more about the nurturing-based love-indoctrination process in chapter 5 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM, and how it liberated consciousness in chapter 6. You can also read summaries of these chapters in Freedom Essays 21 and 24 respectively.

Stuart hall

Very insightful and I understand your thoughts very real and hard hitting truth thank you absolutely brilliant and definitely would change the planet and its people if they listen and adapt to these principles

WTM Admin

Don’t despair Stuart. While this necessarily has a slow start, humanity’s uptake of the explanation of the human condition has a fast finish as the selflessness it liberates in people will not only quickly solve all the problems on the planet, but the excitement and joy it brings means everyone will want to get on board as quickly as they can (see FAQ 1.5)! As Jeremy Griffith explains in his book FREEDOM chapter 9:9: “Although this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will, as has been stated, have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.’”

Betty Litchfield

Interviewer Craig Conroy ( ? Spelling). Jeremy Griffith “The Human Condition “. I have listened to this interview and I am so excited to hear about the insights of Jeremy Griffith on the ‘Human Condition”, a new way to approach life with understanding of our past evolution and our future survival within this world. Thank you for presenting this information to us/ myself and I will definitely study the books available. Betty Litchfield

Frances

Everything about Jeremy Grifith lectures briliantly expose human kind and give clarity and insight about why and how we are the way we are. I can’t wait to engrose myself in his books and dvds.

WTM Admin

Great to learn of your interest, Frances! Understanding the human condition is the great unlocking point in the human journey of conscious thought and enquiry and provides the real basis for personal development and a lasting freedom from the torment of not understanding ourselves. Its resolution leads at last to an incredibly exciting and meaningful world for everyone. In terms of people who have become enthusiastic about our information and are seeking to perhaps formally communicate it to others, in your case through potentially holding seminars, we provide important and, we hope helpful, advice in FAQ 1.24.

Wayne Hill

A must see.

David Harold Chester

Does this new way of thinking correspond with what Hamlet should have claimed: “To be and not to be, this is the answer!”? In other words, we have to accept both sides of the situation as working together, without the claim for elective development of a new thesis. It can be logical to be illogical when we find that both situations must act together. This trend for thought replaces the cold logic of past science. In terms of economics we seek the least effort in getting our unending desires. This is a dual existence, but most of us don’t live by this combination of Hamlet’s folly.

WTM Admin

No, this understanding is not about suspending our logical mind or living with logic and illogic at the same time. The ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation is about bringing accountable, relieving, reconciling understanding to the human condition.

Patsy Mead

I haven’t listened to all of the interview yet but I’m inwardly screaming at my speaker on episode 3 because Bonobos and peaceful, loving, cooperative humans were mostly matriarchal! Not a mystery! Almost 30 years ago I had a life changing, change of consciousness. I knew and understood things about the human condition that caused me to love everyone, even myself! I’m a woman as you might have guessed and had to get this off my chest so I could concentrate on the rest of the interview. So far, utterly brilliant! Hooray! I don’t need to write a book now. Thank you so much!

WTM Admin

Yes, with understanding of the love indoctrination process, we can now understand how important nurturing (and the associated matriachy) was in human evolution – it is how humanity extablished its peaceful loving instinctive self or soul! You can read more about the love indoctrination process in chapter 5 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM. What is also critically important is that we can now also understand why we had to leave that loving state and suffer self-corruption, and become ‘patriachal’ as the search for knowledge of our corrupted state became the all-important focus. Thankfully, with that redeeming understanding now found, the corrupting search can now end, and nurturing can again become the focus, and we can return to a loving, cooperative state!

Ivana from Slovakia

This gives us hope, which is so neccessary. Thank you, it will help to understand me and others too.

Practical runs alongside with what shocking events are happening worldwide , controllers , manipulators , selfishness and corruption are being exposed by people like this man who reasons things out without the restrictions that culture , race , tradition and generational curses/condition ing has caused to the human race, Awesome!!!!

marnee fleming

This is so enlightening, I’m very interested in promoting this idea to the world and would love to hold a seminar about this, how amazing.

WTM Admin

Great to have your interest, Marnee. For those who are enthusiastically wanting to communicate to others Jeremy Griffith’s world-saving explanation of the human condition we strongly recommend reading our FAQ 1.24 which offers advice on how best to do so.

Dennis

I love this information thank you all.

Cliff Guy

In all its amazing simplicity, this expresses what I have been trying to convey to people through my journalism and visual media since my teenage years. The immense connection we can share with each other and for all life on earth, has always been real and to be embraced. Our innate connection to the natural world and our species in childhood should be nurtured and expanded with this love and understanding. Severing this natural connection in a child too early or at all through anguish or false idealisms of protection in a ‘money world’, only serves to create and perpetuate this human upset condition. So beautifully articulated by biologist and ‘thinker’ Jeremy Griffith and superbly interviewed by Craig Conway.

WTM Admin

Yes Cliff, THE Interview is very revealing. Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ treatise explains how our emerging conscious mind came into conflict with our preestablished loving instincts, making us psychologically upset. You might be interested in chapter 8:16C of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM, which explains in greater detail about the absolute importance of nurturing, and how if it is compromised, it creates destructive behaviour in subsequent generations. Of course, as Jeremy writes in that chapter, it is not parents’ fault; they, like everyone else, have been dealing with the human condition. Jeremy writes: “Parents can now understand that their inability to adequately love their offspring is not their fault, but the product of the ever-accumulating levels of upset in the human race as a whole that resulted from our species’ heroic 2-million-year search for knowledge, specifically for self-knowledge, understanding of why we conscious humans are good and not bad.” We also suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.

Yeah, learning the skill of being human has the stages of any skill learning, 1,unconscious incompetence, 2. conscious incompetence, 3, conscious competence & 4, unconscious competence. We have to do things wrong to build the neural structures that we can then re-purpose.

Thanks for your comment Peter. Yes, the individual journey does mirror the species‘ journey - ’ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny‘. In the case of humanity, unable to explain its non-ideal behaviour, our species has been stalled in an immmature, ’adolescent‘ state, unable to progress through to ’adulthood' or “conscious competence”. As Jeremy Griffith explains in chapter 8 of his definitive book FREEDOM, “adolescence encompasses the stage when we fully conscious humans search for our identity, for understanding of who we are—specifically for why we have not been ideally behaved. And since completing that upsetting search was to take some 2 million years, humanity’s adolescence came to be characterised by ever-increasing levels of upset, which required the invention of more and more desperate means to try to contain that upset as well as find relief from it.”

This is a hopeful understanding and explanation of the change in human condition! I didn’t hear you talk about creation and the existence of God! Would you care to explain your understanding of that science?

WTM Admin

Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life. You might find our FAQs about religion of interest, in particular FAQ 6.2 ‘What is the meaning of life? / What is the Integrative Meaning of existence? / What is ‘God’? / Does the scientific explanation of ‘God’ really contain all the attributes of religion’s metaphysical ‘God’?’

Hope you can get this out to whole world . I’d like to help. I’m old (96).

What a lovely comment Walter and thank you for your offer to help. Our FAQ 3.4 'How can I help the WTM' includes all the ways people can support, to quote: “all that really matters now is that this new paradigm of the reconciling and redeeming understanding of the human condition is appreciated and disseminated to the world’s population, because it alone can heal the human race and save the world. All everyone should do now is support the truth about the human condition and it will achieve everything everyone has ever dreamt of. If we look after this information it, in turn, will look after each of us and the world. That is the mantra of the new world that understanding of the human condition brings about.”

Interesting understanding of complex biopsychosocial and environmental factors that help us understand human conditions

Catherine

This is an important discovery that reframes our thinking around whether humans are inherently good or evil. It is astoundingly profound, yet very logical. Great information! Great gratitude to you for your life altering work. Thank you.

Karene

Very heartfelt message to the people on Mother Earth. Currently listening to the podcasts, fear, guilt shame and grief resonate so far. All negative thought patterns. Look forward to purchasing a copy of Freedom! Congratulations to Jeremy Griffith and other worldly contributors, their combined experience and knowledge is a valuable positive message to try and assist our current World sufferings.

WTM Admin

Thanks for your comment, Karene. It’s wonderful that this understanding is resonating with you and that you are keen to read FREEDOM, which you can access online HERE for free. The more you digest this understanding, we suggest the more you will see how it brings profound peace to your and everyone’s situation. What is so important about Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is that it finally explains the real reason for why humans’ selfish, competitive and destructive behaviour, and the shame and guilt that state produced, became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. And with our goodness biologically established, we no longer need to be preoccupied with proving our worth. Solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source so we can actually stop the angry destruction of ourselves, each other and the planet and save the world.     You may be interested in FAQ 1.34, in which the highly respected psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, wrote: “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from…It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”
