Key words noted that aligns with mystics' understanding are: consciousness or conscious, truth, love, instinct. These are all taught by mystics, and so the human condition really is the paradigm shift in our consciousness which will lead to goodness and love of nature, or God.
WTM Admin
Yes, ‘mysticism’ in its various forms contains all manner of truths about human life - even identifying the key aspects in the ‘instinct vs intellect’ clash that caused the human condition. As Jeremy Griffith explains in Freedom Essay 53, “The many thinkers who have recognised the instinct vs intellect elements of the human condition demonstrate how apparent, indeed obvious, these elements are when someone is prepared to think honestly and truthfully about our condition.” Ultimately however, we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.

This interview reminds me of a Sigmund Freud quote:
Neurosis is the inability to tolerate ambiguity.
WTM Admin
Yes, the human condition has been characterised by our instincts in effect being ‘intolerant’ of our conscious-mind-induced behavioural deviations from our instinctive orientations - our naturally selected instincts are ‘dictatorial’ in that sense. The result of this “inability to tolerate ambiguity”, was that our species became psychologically upset, including, as you suggest, “neurotic”. As Jeremy Griffith explains in chapter 3:4 of his definitive book FREEDOM, “Overall, it was a terrible predicament in which [we] became PSYCHOLOGICALLY UPSET — a sufferer of PSYCHOSIS and NEUROSIS. Yes, since, according to Dictionary.com, ‘osis’ means ‘abnormal state or condition’, and the Penguin Dictionary of Psychology’s entry for ‘psyche’ reads ‘The oldest and most general use of this term is by the early Greeks, who envisioned the psyche as the soul or the very essence of life’ (1985 edn), Adam developed a ‘psychosis’ or ‘soul-illness’, and a ‘neurosis’ or neuron or nerve or ‘intellect-illness’. His original gene-based, instinctive ‘essence of life’ soul or PSYCHE became repressed by his intellect for its unjust condemnation of his intellect, and, for its part, his nerve or NEURON-based intellect became preoccupied denying any implication that it is bad. Adam became psychotic and neurotic.”

To avoid any confusion, while some people express their excitement over finding this redeeming understanding through religious terminology, it is important to note that what is presented is not religious; it is the fully accountable, logical, based-in-scientific-first-principles biological explanation of the human condition. Certainly though, with the benefit of science we can now bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, which means we can at last reconcile science and religion. Read more about religion and how it can now be demystified, in our FAQs about religion.

You might be interested in Freedom Essay 45 about ‘Prophetic Songs and the symbolism of the rising sun’ where it is explained that, “And the image songwriters invariably reach for to express this dream of enlightenment is the rising sun—because light symbolises knowledge and its ability to defeat the darkness of ignorance; with the ultimate ignorance being of ourselves, understanding of our 2-million-year corrupted, ‘fallen’, soul-destroyed human condition.”

Alot of words and claims, that will do nothing.
WTM Admin
As WTM FAQ 1.9 ‘Should people be sceptical’ explains, Professor Harry Prosen, a former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, has endorsed the significance of Jeremy Griffith’s treatise, saying “I have no doubt Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.” So while initial scepticism is warranted about the astonishing claims being made about this work the amazing fact is that they all withstand scrutiny. A person can begin reading the book and the more they read into it the more they will realise the claims being made are actually true as is evidenced by the ecstatic responses at the top of our homepage and the outstanding commendations this work has received from eminent scientists and thought leaders, here on our homepage. And as Professor Prosen indicates, understanding is the key to healing psychosis. And so by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, it heals the insecurity that has tortured us, and makes redundant our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation, allowing us to return to a loving state. So ‘words’ when they represent understanding, do a lot.

This is powerful but will take generations to integrate into our cultures,
WTM Admin
Part 4 of THE Interview, titled ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’, presents the answer to how this understanding allows us to transform our lives immediately. It explains that it will take a number of generations for the upset within us to be completely healed but it also stresses importantly we can be immediately free of its effects. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is summarised in FAQ 4.1 and FAQ 1.40 addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

The so called condition is caused by sin and imperfection which only the creator God can remedy man has had 6000years to fix things but only made a bigger mess of things plain and simple
WTM Admin
We certainly respect people’s religious views Russell and Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition doesn’t actually contradict a belief in God or Christianity. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts. In fact, Jeremy considers the Bible to be a repository of extremely rare denial-free truth about human life albeit from that pre-scientific view. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained in as being the integrative meaning of life. (For those interested our FAQs about religion include FAQ 6.2 ‘What is God’ and FAQ 6.3 ‘Does this undermine religion/God’.) The difference being that we can now with the benefit of science, bring clarifying, first-principle biological explanation to our so-called ‘good and evil’-afflicted human condition and why we had to depart from our original innocence, whilst religion had to rely on metaphor and a more literal interpretation.

Gwen Mckenzie
This is exactly what mankind has been waiting for....it is not before time that people were told that their behaviour is insanity itself. Of course having said that , once insanity is recognised then it ceases to be insanity.....
WTM Admin
Yes Gwen now at last the human condition is solved we can understand all our destructive and dsyfunctional behaviour or what can be seen as insanity. As Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview, while we couldn’t explain our corrupted, psychologically upset condition, we’ve had to live in denial of it. That denial has been necessary, however it means everyone has been masquerading around as though there was nothing wrong! As the Scottish psychiatraist R.D. Laing famously said “Insanity is a perfectly natural adjustment to an insane world” (see Freedom Essay 48 titled ‘R.D. Laing’s fearlessly honest descriptions of the human condition). So finally, as Jeremy says in Part 4 titled ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’: “Basically, now that our corrupted condition is finally truthfully explained, honesty replaces denial and the world heals. ‘Bullshit’, which is our everyday word for all the dishonest denial that’s been going on, protected us from all the truths about our corrupted condition that we couldn’t properly explain, but it was destroying the world and it now stops.”

david L ruther
get it together people. the world does not operate by such simplistic conjectures.
WTM Admin
Hi David, thank you for your comments and we respect your right to a differing opinion but suggest the more you absorb what is presented in THE Interview the more you will realise that what is being presented here isn’t overly “simple”. We would go further and suggest it actually becomes obvious that all humans suffer from a universal psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. Certainly this manifests in a multitude of different ways, but that is to be expected because everyone has had a different exposure to the human condition, whether it is through how they were nurtured, or their exposure to upset in the world as a whole – but the macro truth is that we are all insecure about our self-worth, and at its source, the cause of this is the instinct vs intellect clash. Which is why the highly respected psychiatrist Professor Harry Prosen, a former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, wrote: “the beauty of Griffith’s treatise is that the healing starts at the macro level of the universal human condition; the healing of the shame and blame that the whole human race has suffered from…It brings the greater context and love to all human psychosis and suffering, and then, from under the umbrella of that safe position, everyone can gradually work inwards to their particular experience of all the imperfections in human life that have now, finally, been made sense of.”
Yes, the beauty of the ideas being put forward is that they are fully accountable, first-principle-based science, so people can follow the logic and judge for themselves if they makes sense of human existence. They have received outstanding commendations from leading thinkers and scientists which can be viewed here. Also, our FAQ 1.10 includes answers for what scientific evidence is there for Griffith’s instincts vs intellect explanation and FAQ 1.7 ‘What scientific support does this work have’ addresses your view that this is conjecture.
Eric Ralph Biddle
This is extremely verbose. Just get to your point about how to save the world. Overpopulation and over development will be soon solved by Mother Nature.
david L ruther
thankfully the world is not that simple. only people like this are.
WTM Admin
Hi Eric, while great care has been taken to present the information as quickly and simply as possible (which is done in Part 1 of THE Interview), explanation of the human condition can be initially difficult to access. This is because it has been the most terrifying of subjects to face as it is the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad as a species, and we have necessarily lived in almost total denial of it (FAQ 1.16 ‘Why do I find this material impenetrably dense, repetitive, tedious and boring?’ explains this initial ‘deaf effect’). Also our FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept: essentially, when we humans developed a conscious mind some 2 million years ago, a battle unavoidably developed between it and our already established instincts. The result of this conflict between our instinct and intellect was that we became psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric – the upset state we refer to as the human condition. But now that we can explain and understand this conflict, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition, see FAQ 1.5 about how this understanding transforms our lives and therefore the world.
In terms of your second point Jeremy Griffith’s work explains that problems such as overpopulation and overdevelopment are merely symptoms of this deeper underlying issue of the human condition and therefore we now have the potential to fundamentally address such problems, see FAQ 1.6 ‘Why does understanding of the human condition solve everything?’. We also recommend FAQ 1.40 which addresses the questions of ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful?’

Enlightens please leave politics out its what divides us humans..thankyou
WTM Admin
Great to have your interest Pucky and we wanted to mention it does take a little time to get your head around the paradox of the human condition, and in particular, how it applies to politics. Biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wing. His work certainly recognises the destructive brutality of the right-wing; indeed he brings understanding to the whole extremely destructive angry, egocentric and alienated human condition. He also recognises the failing of the Left, which is that its dogmatic insistence on cooperative, selfless and loving behaviour stifled and oppressed the freedom of expression and individualism needed to find knowledge, ultimately self-knowledge, the redeeming understanding of our seemingly destructive human condition that thankfully he has now found and presents in his book FREEDOM. Basically his work brings profound understanding to both sides, which ultimately brings to an end the whole ugly business of politics. This is fully explained in our FAQs about politics.

How long did humans live in the Bonobo state?
WTM Admin
In chapter 8 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, the whole human journey is explained, showing that humans lived in a cooperative state for at least 5 million years before the emergence of the human condition some 2 million years ago (it is this cooperative state that the bonobos are approaching). This period of our history emerges as an instinctive memory of a ‘Golden Age’ as recorded by writers such as Hesiod, Plato and Moses, which are included in Part 2 of THE Interview.

Everything that is being said in this interview, I felt like I have one to speak out there what I see that can unite us as we complete and control the circle of life...and we need to understand that money is a number path not a behavior disturbing factor...thank you...everything here resonates with my thoughts.
WTM Admin
Thank you very much Sekepe. Yes, ‘money is not the root of all evil’ as the old saying had it. We can now understand that greed and materialism have just been symptoms of our psychologically upset angry, egocentric and alienated human condition, which in turn was a result of the ‘instinct vs intellect’ clash. We now have the ability, for the first time, to understand every aspect of human behaviour and our behaviour will change naturally as a result. At last we can understand we have been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because at last we have the first principle-based science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. This is the rapidly transforming practical effect of being able to understand the human condition which is fully explained and illustrated on our Transformation page.
Olatunji OreOfe Olukoya
What a great relief and a significant breakthrough in understanding the human condition. Which to me is a starting point for conflict management and resolution. A great lead, I must say, to achieving the so much desired world peace, that has been elusive for years.
bellamy
We need a paradigm shift in our perspective of life and planet earth.
WTM Admin
What is so significant about Jeremy’s breakthrough explanation of the human condition is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because that core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We can at last understand the source of our upset and trauma and bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others. This ends all the destruction and conflict - it brings peace to the human situation and healing to our planet. This is the ultimate paradigm shift.

Thank you for all your knowledge and help understanding the human behavior.

This is most interesting and logical. QUESTION: How did we actually develop this consciousness?
Sorry, it seems this will be answered in part 2.
WTM Admin
In Part 3 of THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains how we became fully conscious – that answer being that it developed as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process. He refers the viewer to chapter 7 of his definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation — a summary of which is in FAQ 5.4.

Understanding
is but a little thing.
WTM Admin
And yet it changes everything. In Freedom Essay 5, WTM founding member Tony Gowing gives the following example, “Imagine you’re standing on a crowded bus in the middle of peak hour and the person next to you has bad breath and you’re hot and exhausted and frustrated and you just need to get home. And from somewhere behind you, you start to feel something whacking you on the leg. This goes on and on, and with each whack you get more angry. In fact, after a while you’re absolutely furious and so suddenly decide to turn around and throttle the bastard who’s doing it. But when you turn around, you realise it’s an old blind woman knocking you with her cane by mistake as she tries to get her bearings. Well, the effect of this discovery is that it instantly and completely changes the way you feel. Finally able to understand the situation, all the fury abates and relief and calm floods through you. You don’t feel like a victim anymore. The whole situation has been turned around by being able to understand it.”
As Tony goes on to explain, “And it is like that, but on a much, much bigger scale when you understand the human condition.”

Our ‘wild’ relatives are also Sentient Beings- already capable of compassion, sometimes moreso than humans. They are already capable of solving problems. Interesting concept being presented but with evidence already present in all Beings, at different levels.
WTM Admin
We suggest that one of the great outstanding mysteries of science is what is consciousness, and what Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview is that rather than referring to ‘sentience’, consciousness actually means being sufficiently aware or ‘conscious’ of how experiences are related to attempt to manage change from a basis of understanding. Clearly while other animals have various levels of ‘awareness’ or ‘sentience’, none can consciously manage events like humans can, and so it is accurate to describe humans as the only animals possessing fully conscious minds. It follows that no other animal will suffer from the ‘human condition’ which is when the conscious mind reaches a state where it competes with our instinctive orientations for the day to day management of our lives. We recommend our FAQ 5.4 titled ‘What is consciousness? / Why is it that humans became conscious while other animals haven’t? / How did consciousness emerge in humans?’
To the extent that selfless “compassion” is discernible amongst other animals, it means that they have overcome the competitive, selfish ‘animal condition’ to some extent, which, as explained in Part 3 of THE Interview, can only occur through the nurturing based love-indoctrination process that we humans went through - otherwise what you are witnessing is really reciprocity or kin-selection, which are genetically selfish strategies. Jeremy explains that every species would ‘try’ to develop as much love-indoctrinated integration as their circumstances permit, which can be seen in bonobos, but also to some extent in animals like dolphins and elephants, but how their physical and environmental situations have limited them from achieving that, meaning they still remain in the genetically selfish ‘animal condition’.
Gregory Dolan
Brilliant.
Hi there I had come to this realization myself and this has set it in stone for me. I went down a hard but worth it In the end road via psychosis a few years ago.
WTM Admin
Thanks Gregory. Yes, it has been possible to recognise our egocentric and alienated state, and even intuitively come to the realisation that that state is not ‘bad’ but actually a heroic one, but in the end, the only thing that could truly end our egocentric and alienated state was the reconciling understanding of the human condition. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.

I’m delighted to finally understand with some measure of satisfaction what had tormented me for a good number of years. With my feeble efforts I’d sought out within modern physiology and psychology to try and understand the origins of, of course our enigmatic patterns of behavior and the pschological productions of our consciousness, what this new scientific forum calls the human condition at least for as long as Plato saw it fit. I’m still following up with the reading and full understanding of the masterpiece. Fortune discovered me this year and I’m lucky to have come across the interview, am still reading the book with great passion.

While this project necessarily has a slow start, and as you suggest, that start will mainly involve older generations, humanity’s uptake of the explanation of the human condition has a fast finish as the selflessness it liberates in people will not only quickly solve all the problems on the planet, including teaching young people about this redeeming information, but the excitement and joy it brings means everyone will want to get on board as quickly as they can. We recommend Jeremy Griffith’s recent publication Our Meaning, as it explains just how desperate younger generations have been for this redeeming explaination of the reason for all their suffering, namely the corrupting journey to find knowledge.

We think as you digest this Geoff, you will realise that the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation gets to the very bottom of the human condition, and explains all the human dysfunction, such as why we have destroyed our environment and are unable to live in a sustainable way. I sent an email yesterday to the Minister for domestic violence and made a few brief comments about possible reasons for men in particular behaving poorly towards women. I suggested the Minister look at the World Transformation Movement Web sites to gain a much better perspective of the serious problem. I think if more people in positions of influence were to look at the videos and read the book Freedom there maybe a major break through in solving this problem of domestic violence..Regards Ron Duniam
WTM Admin
Thank you for your initiative, Ron, we very much appreciate you sharing the WTM’s work. Yes, to stop the horrors you speak of we had to end the underlying insecurity that is driving all the destructive behaviour, which is exactly what Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition in THE Interview does. And the extraordinary significance of his biological treatise is that it establishes all humans are equally good, worthwhile, meaningful and wonderful regardless of gender, age, religion, etc. We recommend watching biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald’s video commendation about how this explanation makes possible the real liberation of women, and also our FAQ 8.1 on ‘How does this reconcile the sexes’.

What is this all about...l am interested to know
WTM Admin
Hi Aruna, thank you for your interest. Essentially we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are humans so angry, competitive and selfish, to the extent that we destroying ourselves and our natural world. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. The human condition manifests in different ways in all as a result of our own experiences and exposure to the world, but the clash between instinct and intellect is the source of all our insecurity and subsequent anger, egocentricity and alienation, and so explaining it makes all those defensive behaviours redundant. We suggest you read the very brief summary in FAQ 1.3 and watch THE Interview if you haven’t already done so."

Truly inspiring and informative. Your description of the nurturing habits of the Bonobo’s, evidences the worth of women in the healing process you describe. What can be said of a mother who will selflessly and lovingly nurture her child so that it feels whole and secure? And of the man who will support and provide for her so that she can?
And, insofar as we are spirit children of heavenly parents, a knowledge of that fact would give us security and a sense that, no matter what happens around us, we do not need to resort to angry, defensive, competitive behavior, or to seek recognition or power by accumulating fancy goods or fame or conquests. With knowledge of our eternal and everlasting potential, no matter our present condition, we can be at peace and “at home” and comfortable with who we are.
WTM Admin
Thanks very much Douglas. With regard to being “spirit children of heavenly parents”, we did want to point out for readers new to this material, that what is presented here is completely accountable, rational science. Certainly we can now understand that even though we have appeared to be anything but, humans are fundamentally good, in line with the Negative Entropy driven Integrative theme of the universe. Understanding our fundamental worth does bring great peace to our situation – by explaining the very good reason why our intellect had to defy our instincts, our defensive behaviours of anger, egocentricity and alienation are made redundant, which means “we do not need to resort to angry, defensive, competitive behavior, or to seek recognition or power by accumulating fancy goods or fame or conquests.” But this is a completely rationally driven consequence of explaining the human condition.
And you are quite right, nurturing will become all-important as humanity moves away from eons tortured by insecurity over our self-worth. We wanted to include this magnificent passage from chapter 6:13 of FREEDOM (which is titled, ‘Nurturing now becomes a priority’), because it provides a reassuring view on how, with compassionate understanding of the human condition, we can now appreciate that while humanity’s necessary preoccupation with finding knowledge compromised our ability to nurture, now that that preoccupation ends we can safely acknowledge the absolute importance of nurturing in our species’ development, and in its future: “now that we have found that very good reason why parents have been unable to nurture their children with anything like the unconditional love children instinctively expect and need, it is no longer necessary to deny the importance of nurturing both in the maturation of our species and in our own lives. Yes, with the arrival of understanding the terrible guilt that parents have felt for not being able to adequately nurture their offspring departs. Parents can now understand that their inability to adequately love their offspring is not their fault, but the product of the ever-accumulating levels of upset in the human race as a whole that resulted from our species’ heroic 2-million-year search for knowledge, specifically for self-knowledge, understanding of why we conscious humans are good and not bad. So yes, we can finally now admit the importance of nurturing and turn our attention back to the nurturing of our offspring—in fact, it now becomes a matter of great urgency that we do both these things.”

Key words noted that aligns with mystics' understanding are: consciousness or conscious, truth, love, instinct. These are all taught by mystics, and so the human condition really is the paradigm shift in our consciousness which will lead to goodness and love of nature, or God.
This is interesting
This is an eye opening, we all need to know
💝
This interview reminds me of a Sigmund Freud quote: Neurosis is the inability to tolerate ambiguity.
Adam became psychotic and neurotic.”You might also be interested in reading FAQ 1.47 “How does Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition differ from the theories of Freud or Jung?”.Amazing
YES THE TRUTH SO TRUE.
Holy Holy Holy Righteousness. I Was Blind But Now I 👀 See
To avoid any confusion, while some people express their excitement over finding this redeeming understanding through religious terminology, it is important to note that what is presented is not religious; it is the fully accountable, logical, based-in-scientific-first-principles biological explanation of the human condition.
Most interesting subject matter to know.
Very informative I have learnt so much .
At long last this is really IT! So we join voices and sing saying DEI SOLI GLORIA !
Yes, the ‘Sun’ of understanding truly is ‘glorious’.
I’m stunned, I hope to live to see some positive reaction to this wonderful revelation.
Alot of words and claims, that will do nothing.
Helps been wanting it for a long time.
Absolutely brilliant so very happy of this beautiful news about our human condition
This is powerful but will take generations to integrate into our cultures,
Part 4 of THE Interview, titled ‘How does the psychological rehabilitation of the human race that the arrival of understanding of the human condition finally makes possible actually occur?’, presents the answer to how this understanding allows us to transform our lives immediately.
Great interview
Very insightful I must say I really enjoyed listening to the entire video. Thank you
Perfect.
Can’t wait to listen 2 this!!!
Very inspiring, inspiring and empowering
The so called condition is caused by sin and imperfection which only the creator God can remedy man has had 6000years to fix things but only made a bigger mess of things plain and simple
Very interesting ! Makes us think more On the Subject ! More we think — more deeper questions arise !
Wonderful to have your interest Dr Acharya! This is exactly what mankind has been waiting for....it is not before time that people were told that their behaviour is insanity itself. Of course having said that , once insanity is recognised then it ceases to be insanity.....

This is really incedible
get it together people. the world does not operate by such simplistic conjectures.
This is extremely verbose. Just get to your point about how to save the world. Overpopulation and over development will be soon solved by Mother Nature.
thankfully the world is not that simple. only people like this are.
— In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful?’Loved it
Enlightens please leave politics out its what divides us humans..thankyou
Wow! Need this to be taught in school.
You need to listen this. Seriously.
Let’s go
Astonishing, the answer l have been searching for.
Thank you very much. Finally told!
How long did humans live in the Bonobo state?
In chapter 8 of Jeremy Griffith’s definitive book FREEDOM, the whole human journey is explained, showing that humans lived in a cooperative state for at least 5 million years before the emergence of the human condition some 2 million years ago (it is this cooperative state that the bonobos are approaching). This period of our history emerges as an instinctive memory of a ‘Golden Age’ as recorded by writers such as Hesiod, Plato and Moses, which are included in Part 2 of THE Interview.
thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This interview is truly enlightening and educational indeed. A must read, or must hear.
I love what I see and hear!
Everything that is being said in this interview, I felt like I have one to speak out there what I see that can unite us as we complete and control the circle of life...and we need to understand that money is a number path not a behavior disturbing factor...thank you...everything here resonates with my thoughts.
What a great relief and a significant breakthrough in understanding the human condition. Which to me is a starting point for conflict management and resolution. A great lead, I must say, to achieving the so much desired world peace, that has been elusive for years.
We need a paradigm shift in our perspective of life and planet earth.
Understanding is but a little thing.
The whole situation has been turned around by being able to understand it.”As Tony goes on to explain, “And it is like that, but on a much, much bigger scale when you understand the human condition.”Excellent
This is the best explanation on planet earth about human behavior and life in general
Absolutely amazing..I need to learn more
Great
I would like to participate , because I know is very important for our daily life and I know that this is going to transform my life for ever
A very profound and interesting interview. I learnt a lot about why we are where we are. We need to share with all our friends. Cannot wait to get a copy of the Book .. Freedom.
Our ‘wild’ relatives are also Sentient Beings- already capable of compassion, sometimes moreso than humans. They are already capable of solving problems. Interesting concept being presented but with evidence already present in all Beings, at different levels.
How did consciousness emerge in humans?’To the extent that selfless “compassion” is discernible amongst other animals, it means that they have overcome the competitive, selfish ‘animal condition’ to some extent, which, as explained in Part 3 of THE Interview, can only occur through the nurturing based love-indoctrination process that we humans went through - otherwise what you are witnessing is really reciprocity or kin-selection, which are genetically selfish strategies. Jeremy explains that every species would ‘try’ to develop as much love-indoctrinated integration as their circumstances permit, which can be seen in bonobos, but also to some extent in animals like dolphins and elephants, but how their physical and environmental situations have limited them from achieving that, meaning they still remain in the genetically selfish ‘animal condition’.Brilliant. Hi there I had come to this realization myself and this has set it in stone for me. I went down a hard but worth it In the end road via psychosis a few years ago.
THANK YOU
I’m interested

This is Amazing. The solution of mankind and how the madness can stop!!! The answer is it!
Interesting!
We are all different. There is no one explanation for human behaviour.
We suggest the more you absorb what is presented in THE Interview the more you will realise that all humans suffer from a universal psychosis, caused by the clash between our instinct and intellect. Certainly this manifests in a multitude of different ways, but that is to be expected because everyone has had a different exposure to the human condition, whether it is through how they were nurtured, or their exposure to upset in the world as a whole, but the macro truth is that we are all insecure about our self-worth, and at its source, the cause of this is the instinct vs intellect clash.
Great insight
It’s very true and people need to be educated.
This is wonderful, it will definitely bring us human beings to a better understanding of we really are, thanks for bringing us back to the real human beings we are supposed to be
This interview really opened my eyes. Such an intriguing and thought-provoking concept. I haven’t been this excited about a new topic of research for quite a while. I’m very much looking forward to seeing this becoming a part of my own and human consciousness and scientific research and learning in general.
Very well explained and giving us the way to decode human psychological rehabilitation and the way to healing of human psychiatry??!! Thanks for uploading the exhaustive explanation!! It is definitely be going to be helpful for Many in the World!! Thanks once again !! Shaaantha Baalakrishnan
Amazing!
Compulsory reading / listening for all. Unfortunately, European / American teenagers generally no longer READ.
For the first time, a top biologist gives an explanation for our angry, egocentric and competitive human condition instead of being cooperative and loving. This is beautiful.

To be pursued and understood.
I have listened to the interview twice. This is the most impressive lecture/daialogue I came across since long long time. The book “Freedom” isn’t available now in Egypt. Will do my best to get it very soon. Grateful if you keep me info of any dvpts. Thank you
Thanks very much for the appreciation Mahmoud. We do make FREEDOM available on Amazon, which has the broadest reach of any online bookstore we are aware of. Similarly, FREEDOM is listed on the Ingrams catalogue, which all good bookstores can order from. However, if FREEDOM is not available in Egypt through those means, you may have to download an electronic copy. You can immediately access a copy at the top of our homepage just under THE Interview. You will see an image of FREEDOM with the text ‘Free Copy’ so click on that to access your free electronic copy to read, listen to or download. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon.
Very interesting and mind provoking interview. Looking forward to read the book. Thanks Jeremy and Craig. God Bless, Rustom C. Chothia
I am interested in adapting this into my permaculture teaching.
We think as you digest this Geoff, you will realise that the ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation gets to the very bottom of the human condition, and explains all the human dysfunction, such as why we have destroyed our environment and are unable to live in a sustainable way. To make meaningful change, we had to address the cause of the problem which this does.
Nice, makes sense.. good analysis and provocative..
Absolutely stunning findings and explanation. I am from a community where 98% believe in religion and culture. Such explanations will definately be a *block* for a long time. I’m open to new findings therefore following the page.
This would be much more persuasive if it didn’t make such big claims
We are living with unprecedented levels of suffering in the world and if we are to end that suffering we must understand its source, which is the human condition. That is why it is crucial to stand up and honestly say that this information solves the human condition. Also the astonishing claims being made about Jeremy Griffith’s work withstand scrutiny as what he presents is 100% logic which has attracted the support of eminent scientists and thinkers (see our Commendations page). We recommend our FAQ 1.9 ‘Should people be sceptical about claims’ and FAQ 1.17 ‘Shouldn’t your website be toned down’.
This is a life changing interview ENCOUNTER. The world should know these truths about humanity and its Eco System.
I watched video #33 [Freedom Essay 33: Jeremy Griffith on how to become transformed!] this morning and I understood and realized that I have come to this point of understanding in my journey organically. I want to learn more and be a part of this transformational movement.
That’s absolutely wonderful to hear that this breakthrough explanation is resonating with you so strongly, Amy!! Please visit the WTM homepage where you’ll find a guide to pursue your interest, and if you are a Facebook user, we strongly encourage you to join our Facebook group. It is a thriving community of over 60,000 members where everyone is learning about the human condition and thriving in the excitement of the genuinely new world that this understanding brings.
This is absolutely the book we have been waiting for. It will shape our thinking and end racism on the planet earth.
Hi Teresa, thank you very much for your wonderfully appreciative comment. You may be interested in reading Jeremy Griffith’s Freedom Essay 28 about how this understanding puts an end to racism, and for a testimonial on the power of this knowledge to end racism, we recommend the presentations from Franklin Mukakanga, of Zambia, and Refentse Molosiwa, of South Africa, in Video/Freedom Essay 8. What you discover is this explanation unravels the seemingly impenetrable and insoluble confusion of human life — including why the horror of racism has existed under the duress of the human condition and, most importantly, finally brings it to an end!
This is a turning point, for the human journey.
Please send details of book or literature available.

What is this all about...l am interested to know
Hi Aruna, thank you for your interest.
Very interesting indeed
Blessed we are to have such an intelligent, wholehearted, passionately sagacious human being that has so beautifully and methodically been able to structure a way to verbally express this understanding. Logically put yet on the grand scale a spiritually collective healing. Profoundly insightful ... You are brilliant... Thankyou for truly caring ...
Very inspiring, thanks for sharing
Awesome interview..
So yes, we can finally now admit the importance of nurturing and turn our attention back to the nurturing of our offspring—in fact, it now becomes a matter of great urgency that we do both these things.”+++!
Thanks for opening my mind
Hi I love your I love your discussion. I’m going to have to listen to it again and again. Thank you so much. Love to get that book and take my time reading it. Because I have dyslexia
I read, understood and enjoyed. Purely scientific explanation of human condition which is going to have far reaching effects on humanity.
I choose to believe that we all come from Adam and Eve and not from our Apes ancestors. I also believe that every human life is a world all of its own; genes and nerves of all sorts. So, I would really have to read and study all these books to give you an honest opinion. I did thoroughly enjoy this interview and I love any subjects on health, science and biology. Every point made was so very interesting to me. Thank You for sharing! 🫶🫶🫶💯🌅🌄🎈
Eye opening interview to better understand ourselves on the path of Psychological rehabilitation of the Human Race .
Enlightening, would be better if the interviewer spoke less and let Jeremy Griffith speak more. Brevity for interviewer please.
Please let me know more about the interview. Thank you

I would love to know more about this human condition theory. What Jeremy is saying makes a lot of sense, that’s just me. Thank you so much.
When someone puts it all together with just a simple metaphor = speaking an international understanding A gift with a sense of relief. Brilliant minds help us to move forward. A service to humanity Grateful for your work
