Hello I have been working on myself and self discovery for quite some time now I can tell you from experience that trying to change Who we are or who I am cuz I’m speaking of me is not an easy thing and anybody who thinks that self-discovery is easy is wrong because you have to look at all of the things that you’ve done all of the pain that you’ve caused all of the pain that has harmed you and you need to work through all that which is what I’m trying to do so I welcome any help I can get my hands on and I really appreciate this free film and I just want to say thank you so much and I’m looking forward to watching it bless you for doing this
WTM Admin
Thank you for your thoughts and appreciation Michelle. The problem with dealing with the issue of the human condition, or the subject of self, has been that it was such an unbearably confronting subject that we couldn’t afford to go near it until it could be safely explained. The human condition has certainly been such a deeply tragic journey which has caused so much mental pain and anguish. What is so significant about Jeremy Grffith’s breakthrough explanation of the human condition is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because that core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can understand humans’ psychological upset was the price humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. We can at last understand the source of our upset and trauma and bring great compassion and kindness to ourselves and others and, most significantly, we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us which is an important part of the transformation — as our FAQ 1.19 ‘A caution about the danger of over-exposure’ and FAQ 1.4 ‘How our lives can be transformed’ explain. As Jeremy stresses in Part 4 of THE Interview: “Well, what this real—and actually very obvious—instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition fundamentally does is lift the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race. It establishes that we humans are good and not bad after all. While we are all inevitably variously angry, egocentric and alienated from our different encounters with humanity’s heroic battle to find knowledge, ultimately self-knowledge, understanding of our corrupted condition, we can now know that every human is fundamentally good. And this ability to understand and know there was a good reason why the human race became psychologically upset, is the key, relieving understanding we have been in search of ever since we became conscious some 2 million years ago and our corrupted condition emerged. That is the key relief for our mind—being finally able to understand that we are good and not bad is what brings us the greatest psychological relief of all.” There is a lot to absorb with this new knowledge Michelle so we suggest you first watch THE Interview and from there our homepage provides a wonderful road map to progress with all our key materials, which we’ve also made freely available.

I know this will sound simplistic to many “intellectuals” but this is why we were “given” The Ten Commandments. Follow them and our “human condition” will greatly improve.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Mary. We agree that Christianity and other religions contain all manner of extraordinarily profound truth about human life, and ways of managing human upset. However, what Jeremy Griffith is putting forward is that for there to be a fundamental change in our human situation we had to understand the human condition – humans’ capacity for good and evil – from a biological perspective, and so rather than controlling our behaviour through discipline or a code of ‘commandments’, our psychological upset can actually subside, and we can truly be liberated from the human condition. You might find our FAQs about religion helpful.

Insightful indeed. This forms the base of human moral development.
H.Douglas
I don’t need a scholars degrees to see the Truth. Plain and simple we’re living the wrong way, where not living with the planet we’re living against it. Living in a way that has no respect for Mother nature. Where controlled by the rich and greedy who are control freaks who have lost their Souls to money power and self.
WTM Admin
What is so important about Jeremy Griffith’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is that it finally explains the real reason for why humans’ competitive and power-hungry behaviour became an unavoidable, indeed necessary, part of human life. Proving we were better than someone else gave us validation and reinforcement to counter the deep insecurity we felt about having to become self-corrupted. And so competition, sustained by the incentives of materialism, capitalism and power, are what maintained humanity’s heroic search for knowledge, ultimately for self-knowledge. But with our goodness and worth now biologically established, we no longer need to be preoccupied with proving our goodness and worth. Solving the human condition solves all the confusion, frustration and suffering in human life at its source so we can actually stop the destruction of ourselves and save the world.

This is some freeing and timely information. I agree with almost all of what Jeremy says, with one exception. He says the Left is a destructive force pushing cooperation, love, kindness, compassion, etc. as a means of making itself feel better. This not only ignores the horrible things the right is doing at home and abroad, but also that many of us woke libs. truly do believe in what we are supporting! A many of us deny the religion -pushed dogma that we are born in sin (bad). Many of us reject religion outright! Also, if science is the answer (which I do believe) why is the right doing everything it can to reject it? Control? Power? Jeremy won me back when he says that once we understand that we are not bad, we all become left wing! I think this narrative needs to be expanded to discuss how religion and politics are making this whole human condition much much worse! And condemning the left for actually doing what is correct and good, regardless the reason, is quite shortsighted!
WTM Admin
Hi Ken, thanks for your comment. Jeremy Griffith’s work opens up a new way of thinking so it takes a little time to fully absorb this new paradigm – and the human condition does present the ultimate paradox! The biological ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition allows us to understand the real merits and liabilities of both the left and right wing. Certainly there are all sorts of permutations and policies that are combinations of left and right wing, but what Jeremy is identifying, is the core philosophical foundation of the left and right wings. His work identifies that the problem of the right-wing is its destructiveness, however, through its support of egocentricity and selfishness, it does encourage the search for knowledge to continue. However the left wing’s insistence on ideal behaviour had the effect of oppressing and thus regressing, not ‘progressing’, the all-important search for knowledge. Most importantly, as you recognise, this understanding brings a profound understanding to both sides which ultimately will bring an end to the whole ugly business of politics. This is all fully explained in our FAQs about politics.

Pamela Hamblin
Very thought provoking. The Mormon, or LDS, church has taught since its beginning that Adam and Eve made the correct choice.
WTM Admin
Thanks very much Pamela. Yes, as Jeremy Griffith stresses in his work religion has contained all manner of truth about the human condition, albeit without the benefit of science. While I am not familiar with teachings of The Morman Church I have heard that the Kabbalah, for example, recognises that Adam and Eve were not sinful, but trying to fulfil a great purpose in eating from the tree of knowledge; the gnostic tradition in Christianity has a similar emphasis on the importance of the search for knowledge. Ultimately though, we needed to find the scientific explanation for why ‘Adam and Eve’ were good; more specifically, why, when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. Jeremy Griffith’s treatise will actually resonate with those familiar with religious scripture, because it reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts such as innocence, sin and ‘Judgment Day’, etc. In fact, what people discover is it is the fulfilment of a time that all religions looked forward to when we could actually explain ourselves – see our FAQs on religion.
Tracy
Life is crazy, I’d love to understand it.
WTM Admin
Hi Tracy, you’re absolutely right that the world in which we live seems crazy, but the truth is the human species has been living incredibly courageously. This is because we have been living without the crucial and compassionate understanding of ourselves, of the human condition, that Jeremy Griffith has now presented here. As Professor Harry Prosen, a former president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, said, “I have no doubt Jeremy Griffith’s biological explanation of the human condition is the holy grail of insight we have sought for the psychological rehabilitation of the human race.” We hope you were able to watch THE Interview, and that is brought you some relief that this long-awaited understanding is now here to make sense of our seeming craziness.
Bonita Love
Wow,,,, i just skimmed through it cause i was originally going somewhere and this video popped up while i was watching youtube music videos, I usually don’t click on the ads that pop up due to, its always some scam. but the comments on the video made me open it due to there was no complaints of what he was saying, or any product to buy. it was simply a scientist sharing what he has finally unlocked for all us to see. He must of been researching this for most his life. Finally something that makes sense. its so clear its mind blowing because what he explains here, is similar to what we as humans have always been told. This code he has finally cracked for humanity, grabs you and intrigues the mind without any doubt, because it goes along with all the stories of any religions told of mankind and how we became, who we are , what we did, or must do, because that’s the way its always been and must be...... so you take a story from the bible and then listen to his version of it without criticising or pressuring you to listen, its simple logic that makes perfect sense. Makes you say...wow . as you exhale. if you have a few minutes to listen.... i encourage you to do so .....you will be glad you did. I am going to listen to this again, cause I am in awe with this new understanding.
WTM Admin
Wow, in turn, Bonita, what a wonderful reaction and comment! We’re so glad you clicked through to THE Interview and that it resonated so strongly with you. Yes, Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is all-clarifying and makes sense of so much we have all been taught, biologically, philosophically and theologically, so we encourage you to keep reading and listening to our material, which as you have said, is all free of charge (including subscribing to the WTM’s mailing list). I enjoy the responses, BUT, Words are easier said than actions. Intent is wonderful but I fear to many people are already hardwired for unnecessary confrontational episodes of hate, narcissist behavior and the I need more than you. $$$.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your thoughts Jonathan. We can now understand that our behaviour is not ‘hardwired’; at last we can understand we have been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. Certainly people are habituated in their behaviour, however, with support from those who appreciate this understanding, the truth is that this enlightening, uplifting and healing explanation of the human condition is SO liberating and SO exciting that it won’t be long be everyone realises that it is completely pointless to keep trying to compensate for their insecurity through the pursuit of power, fame, fortune and glory. Our FAQ 1.40 addresses the questions of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’ It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”
~`Michael`~
You’re message has been Available from the beginning, it’s just becoming time to Awaken, just sayin' because it’s true ❤️ `~
WTM Admin
With respect, you are missing the fundamental point. While mysticism and religions contain all manner of truths about human life, it is all from a pre-scientific view. Ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ which explains the unique significance of Jeremy Griffith’s work.
And most importantly, it is only now that our goodness is biologically established that we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. See FAQ 6.5 which explains the critical difference between Jeremy’s work and the New Age Movement.

WTM Admin
Yes, as Jeremy Griffith explains in his definitive book FREEDOM, “most wonderfully, we at last have the understanding that reconciles not just these but all the polarities of life that existed under the duress of the human condition—between ‘good’ and ‘evil’, instinct and intellect, emotion and reason, conscience and conscious, ignorance and wisdom, soul and mind, heart and head, ‘I feel’ and ‘I think’, yin and yang, light and dark, the innocent and the corrupted, the un-embattled and the battle-hardened, the selfless and the selfish, the happy and the upset, the light-hearted and the heavy-hearted, the cooperative and the competitive, the integrative and the divisive, the ‘Godly’ and the ‘unGodly’, the gentle and the aggressive, the loving and the hateful, the sound and the alienated, the secure and the insecure, the honest and the dishonest, the natural and the artificial, the non-sexual and the sexual, altruism and egotism, idealism and realism, spiritualism and materialism, socialism and capitalism, left-wing and right-wing, instinctualism and intellectualism, religion and science, holism and mechanism, young and old, women and men, blacks and whites, unresigned and resigned, country and city, etc, etc. The explanation of the human condition unravels and makes sense of the whole seemingly impenetrable and insoluble confusion of human life—and does so in such a simple and obvious way that it brings to mind Huxley’s famous response to Darwin’s idea of natural selection: ‘How extremely stupid of me not to have thought of that!’ Yes, we have at last found the UNDERSTANDASCOPE for human behaviour.”

Amazingly refreshing. So judgement is the real sin.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment Vickie. What is astonishing is that despite our psychologically upset condition this biological treatise establishes all humans are equally good, worthwhile, meaningful and wonderful regardless of gender, age, religion, etc. The concepts of ‘good and evil’ are effectively removed from human existence. Now at last we can understand why we humans have been competitive, aggressive and selfish, and, most wonderfully of all, by revealing that reason, the need for that divisive behaviour is ended. wonderfully,

Wow, never knew aggressive, competitive human behavior is not instinctive but learned. So you are saying can be unlearned. Who is closer to genetically programmed instinctive scale right or left? Darwin’s survival of the fittest is it instinctive or competitive? My apology if I have missed or misunderstood any of four part series. Thank you.
WTM Admin
Yes, the explanation is that aggressive, competitive and selfish behaviour is not instinctive in origin. Our instincts are actually cooperative, nurturing and moral – see FAQ 5.2. What changed was the emergence of a fully conscious intellect, which came into conflict with those instincts. That clash produced insecurity and defensiveness, and from that flowed anger, egocentricity and alienation. So this behaviour isn’t “learned” in the usual sense, but it can be undone once the underlying conflict is understood — because a psychosis can be healed through understanding.
On the political question, THE Interview explains that both left and right captured part of the truth while missing the underlying cause. The Left was aligned with our cooperative and selfless instincts, but wrong to assume we could behave that way without first explaining why we hadn’t. The Right was right to defend individualism and competitiveness as necessary for progress, but wrong to justify that behaviour by claiming we have savage, competitive instincts. Neither side had the biological explanation that reconciles the two. Once the instinct-vs-intellect conflict is understood, that political divide effectively dissolves. Read more in our FAQs on Politics.
As for Darwin, “survival of the fittest” has been widely misinterpreted. Darwin himself recognised the moral sense as humanity’s defining feature, and most significantly, in the first edition of The Origin of Species Darwin did leave it undecided as to whether those individuals that reproduced more could be viewed as winners, as being ‘fitter’. However it is evidenced in later editions that Darwin’s associates, Herbert Spencer and Alfred Russel Wallace, persuaded him to substitute the term ‘natural selection’ with the term ‘survival of the fittest’ (Letter from Wallace to Darwin, 2 Jul. 1866; The Correspondence of Charles Darwin, Vol.14, p.227 of 706). What THE Interview challenges is the later idea that competition and aggression are our driving instincts. The evidence shows our instinctive heritage is cooperative — competition emerged psychologically, not genetically, as a result of the emergence and consciousness and the ensuing ‘instinct vs intellect’ clash.
These issues are expanded further in the FAQs, especially FAQ 1.3 (a brief summary of the instinct-vs-intellect explanation) and FAQ 1.10 (the scientific evidence for it).

Waleed Muhammad
Have you researched the Qur’an regarding this matter?
WTM Admin
Thank you very much for your comment Waleed. I’m not sure if Jeremy has read all of the Quran, but he references it throughout his work, including in chapter 2.6 of ‘FREEDOM’, where he says in par 155, “If we ask ourselves what is the ‘we’ that we are talking about when we refer to the possibility that ‘we’ are a terrible mistake, a worthless blight on this planet, the ‘face of absolute evil’ as Jung said, we can see where the real problem about our seemingly horribly flawed condition lies: the ‘we’ is surely our conscious thinking mind or intellect. It is our conscious mind that is uncertain of its worthiness, that suspects that it might be to blame for our species’ present seemingly highly imperfect, even ‘fallen’ or corrupted, competitive, aggressive and selfish condition. And indeed, that most famous mythological account of the origin or genesis of the human condition, the story of Adam and Eve from the book of ‘Genesis’ in the Old Testament in the Bible, which the very great prophet Moses wrote (versions of which also appear in the Torah of Judaism, and the Koran of Islam), recognises that this was the case—that it was our conscious mind that led to our ‘good-and-evil’-afflicted condition.” More generally, as Jeremy explains in FREEDOM (ch 2:11), “religions resonate with us, and have done for millennia, because they contain profound truth.” So Jeremy has the deepest respect for religious scripture, which he considers to be a repository of extremely rare, denial-free truth about human life, expressed from a pre-scientific view. His work does not undermine a belief in religion or God; rather, it brings biological understanding to what religions have long recognised. This is explained in FAQ 6.3, ‘Does understanding of the human condition undermine a faith in religion or God?’

What about those of us that never got the nurturing at all? Are we lost ones then? Do you explain us as the evil ones?
WTM Admin
No Suzanne — the explanation is the opposite of that. The theory does not divide people into the nurtured “good” and the unnurtured “evil.” The core premise of THE Interview is that ALL HUMANS ARE EQUALLY GOOD.
The human condition has caused such unthinkable pain and suffering it is almost unimaginable. It does take time to digest, but what THE Interview presents is explanation of the source responsible for all the psychological upset that exists in the world, and gets passed on through generation to generation, often through the inability of one generation to nurture the next. While there are variations in levels of upset depending on individual’s encounter with the human condition, what we can now understand is that every human that has lived and has managed to continue on has been utterly heroic. That is what is explained in The Interview.
This understanding is the breakthrough that every human has been striving for since the emergence of consciousness, and it redeems and rehabilitates every single human on the planet. To quote our Transformation page: “We can understand ourselves now. We can make sense of all the chaos, suffering and seeming madness in human life. Science has finally made it possible for the whole jigsaw of confusion and mystery about us humans to be fitted together so that it all makes sense. In particular, we can understand why we fully conscious humans corrupted our original all-loving and all-sensitive instinctive self or soul. Yes, the great burden of guilt from having destroyed the magic world of our soul has at last been lifted! We have found the key understanding that ends the underlying pain in our brains and allows the human race to become sound and sane again!”

David
I recognised an extraordinarily human state amongst Solomon Islanders living traditional village lives in my youth. I also have tapped into a feeling of oneness with the universe through guidance combined with solitude. This video aligns with my personal discoveries
WTM Admin
Thanks for your comment David and it is wonderful the explanation of the human condition is resonating with you. His biological explanations introduce a new scientific paradigm based on confronting rather than the historic practice of avoiding the issue of the human condition which leads to so many new concepts such as that the human race lived in an original state of innocence, something you were able to pick up on in your observations of the relatively innocent Solomon Islanders. And certainly, through discipline and solitude, we were able to circumvent our angry, egocentric and alienated brain, and reconnect with something of that lost feeling of ‘oneness’, but ultimately our thinking mind needed understanding—specifically, scientific understanding of why when the ideals are to be loving and selfless are we so competitive and selfish? This is what Jeremy Griffith’s treatise does and why it is heralded as the breakthrough that can save the world.

Have you ever seen an animal pay back a kindness to a human, instinct and intellect exist together, There has always been something before understanding.
WTM Admin
Animals clearly show memory, learning, emotion, and reciprocity. They can respond to kindness and adapt behaviour based on experience. That’s not in dispute. What is different in humans is the emergence of a fully self-managing, questioning intellect — one that is so developed that it can understand cause and effect to the extent that it can send people to the moon and back!
So yes, instinct and intellect can and do coexist in other animals to a limited extent, but intellect is still subservient to instinct. The issue raised in THE Interview is that when the human intellect became sufficiently conscious to try to run behaviour independently, it inevitably came into conflict with instinctive expectations that had previously guided behaviour automatically.
“There has always been something before understanding” is exactly right. What has now been explained is simply that once consciousness reached the point where it could take over self-management from the instincts, it created a psychological problem that other animals — however intelligent or social — haven’t encountered.

Frederika
My understanding is that Scientists don’t believe in a God
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Frederika. As Jeremy Griffith’s Freedom Essay 41 ‘Is science’s scorn of religion legitimate?’ explains many scientists scorn religion but despite the disdain mechanistic scientists can have for it, now that we have the true, human-condition-confronting scientific explanation of the human condition, we can appreciate just how profound religious descriptions of the human condition were! As the Nobel prize-winning physicist Charles H. Townes said, “They [science and religion] both represent man’s efforts to understand his universe and must ultimately be dealing with the same substance. As we understand more in each realm, the two must grow together… converge they must.” So Jeremy Griffith’s work actually reconciles science and religion by bringing biological understanding to pre-scientific concepts. Although this is science, it is based on a Godly nature in the sense of recognising, like all the great religions do, that we humans once lived in a pre-human-condition-afflicted state of original innocence where we were perfectly instinctively orientated to the cooperative, selfless, loving, ‘Godly’ ideals of life; ‘God’ being explained as being the integrative meaning of life (which is mentioned in THE Interview). We suggest FAQ 5.3 'What is the Integrative Meaning of life or ‘God’?' and FAQ 1.15 ‘If this is biology, why are there so many religious references?’.

Does thought project into consciousness?
Does the laws of physics have to evolve to accommodate this paradigm shift as science advances
WTM Admin
In THE Interview Jeremy Griffith explains that consciousness is the ability to understand cause and effect — using memory to recognise patterns, predict outcomes, and adjust behaviour with insight over time. Nerves were originally developed for the coordination of movement in animals, but, once developed, their ability to store impressions—what we refer to as ‘memory’—gave rise to the potential to develop understanding of cause and effect. If you can remember past events, you can compare them with current events and identify regularly occurring experiences. This knowledge of, or insight into, what has commonly occurred in the past enables you to “think” and predict what is likely to happen in the future and to adjust your behaviour accordingly so thought followed memory. Once insights into the nature of change are put into effect, the self-modified behaviour starts to provide feedback, refining the insights further. Predictions are compared with outcomes and so on. Much developed, nerves can sufficiently associate information to reason how experiences are related, learn to understand and become conscious of, or aware of, or intelligent about, the relationship between events that occur through time. Thus consciousness means being sufficiently aware of how experiences are related to attempt to manage change from a basis of understanding. We recommend FAQ 5.4 ‘What is consciousness and why did humans become conscious when other animals haven’t?’ and chapter 7 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation of how full consciousness developed in humans as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process which is absolutely fascinating.
Jeremy also explains in THE Interview there exists a clear theme or purpose or meaning of existence, which is the ordering or integration of matter, a process that is driven by the physical law of Negative Entropy and on which this understanding is based – see FAQ 5.3 ‘What is the meaning of life? / What is the Integrative Meaning of existence? / What is God?’. Certainly mechanistic science has tried to ignore the existence of Integrative Meaning (becaues it confronted us with our ‘divisive’ behaviour) and argue that change is undirected, meaningless and random. However, with the explanation of the human condition, it is now possible for science to recognise that integration drives the development of matter, including the advent of ‘life’ (again see FAQ 5.3). Jeremy explains in his books that indeed the word ‘development’ will come to replace the word ‘evolution’ in biology because evolution can be, and has been, misrepresented as meaning change is undirected, meaningless and random.

Anthea Poglase
A lot to cogitate.
WTM Admin
Yes Anthea, since what Jeremy Griffith introduces is a new scientific paradigm, based on confronting rather than the historic practice of avoiding the issue of the human condition, there is much to think deeply about so we greatly appreciate your interest. To help this process the World Transformation Movement homepage includes a section ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ which guides you through the steps to pursue your interest. This includes Jeremy’s new book The Human Condition which is an important presentation as it serves as a powerful mid-length bridge between THE Interview and his definitive book FREEDOM and takes his human-race-saving insights to a new depth of clarity — so it is a must read! Sending you lots of encouragement and our extensive FAQ facility is a helpful resource in digesting this breakthrough understanding of ourselves!

Joshua
I know what I’m going to comment on is not welcome in your world, but the human race is in this dysfunctional state solely because we have rebelled against our original blueprint. We were created to live a certain way and anything else causes a dysfunctional way of life. We try to address this subject from a humanistic perspective and forget that we are created beings, not evolved beiñgs. A computer programmed to act a certain way is not supposed to act any differentl. We humans are programmed to think according to Jesus’s blueprint and anything else will produce a dysfunctional human being. That is the root of our problem
WTM Admin
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts Joshua and we certainly respect people’s religious views. We do suggest that while religions contained extraordinary truth about human life, it was all from a pre-scientific view, and that ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals, or our are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that clarifying difference means we can now understand that we had to defy our instincts or our “original blueprint”, which is why this great breakthrough is described as ‘redeeming’. It follows that by finding the good reason we had to defy our instincts, we can reconcile ourselves with them, because all our defensive behaviours (our anger, egocentricity and alienation) are now redundant. We no longer need them because we have the real defense for why we had to defy our instincts. It is important to mention for readers of these comments that Jeremy’s work doesn’t contradict a belief in God or Christianity, or the Bible’s content. It simply brings biological understanding to all those pre-scientific concepts, see FAQ 6.3 ‘Does understanding of the human condition undermine a faith in religion or God?’

I have become more aware than I have ever been in 2025. I understand that Quantum physics have a huge part to play in paradigm shifts, which I am manifesting every second, the more knowledge I gain. I would absolutely love to be apart of this, I feel I could have a crucial role to play in “changing humanity”
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Kenny, we greatly appreciate your interest. As biologist Jeremy Griffith explains in THE Interview until humans’ apparently divisive behaviour was defended, we haven’t been able to properly acknowledge the integrative meaning behind existence, and science in particular, with its mechanistic, reductionist approach, has denied this negative entropy driven Integrative Meaning. Being subconsciously aware that mechanistic science hasn’t been presenting the full truth, many people embraced quantum physics with its recognition of entanglement and interconnectedness to fill that void. However, as Jeremy explains, the real issue that had to be dealt with if we were to solve the world’s problems and heal the human race was our destructively behaved, so-called human condition. We needed science to answer the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? It is this age-old question of questions that biologist Jeremy Griffith has solved with his instinct vs intellect explanation. This required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents (see FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this idea original or new?’). With our apparently divisive behaviour explained and defended, we humans can now safely recognise the reality of Integrative Meaning, without being confronted by it. You can read more about Integrative Meaning in Freedom Essay 23 (summarised in FAQ 5.3 ‘What is the Integrative Meaning of life or ‘God’?’).

Incredible Information
Robert Frood
As heavy as it is for my level of intellect , I need to study this explanation until I have a complete understanding of it. Because, after all the
huge amount of time that has passed during which time so many atrocious acts by us humans have committed, it is well and truly needed for us to simply change our ways.
WTM Admin
Thank you for your considerate and throughtful response Robert. Yes we are in desperate need of changing our ways and we suggest at last we have the self-understanding to bring lasting and profound transformation to our lives and world. The fundamental explanation is actually very simple however the very nature of the human condition means explanation of it can be initially difficult to access as it has been the most terrifying of subjects to face because it is the issue of whether we are fundamentally good or bad as a species, and we have necessarily lived in almost total denial of it. Thankfully this ‘deaf effect’ can be overcome with re-reading or re-listening to the material, as you intend to do, so everyone can access this most wonderful of all gifts of understanding the human condition! (see our FAQ 1.16 ‘Why can’t I understand this’). We suggest you start by re-watching Part 1 of THE Interview as it explains the core argument and also our FAQ 1.3 presents a very brief summary of the key ‘instinct vs intellect’ concept. Essentially, when we humans developed a conscious mind some 2 million years ago, a battle unavoidably developed between it and our already established instincts. The result of this conflict between our instinct and intellect was that we became psychologically defensive, angry, alienated and egocentric — the upset state we refer to as the human condition. But now that we can explain and understand this conflict, all those insecure, defensive behaviours are obsoleted, brought to an end, and we free ourselves from the human condition. Also FAQ 1.40 ‘Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world?’ explains, while the world is fast approaching a point of no return, this understanding will turn things around incredibly quickly, because, as mentioned, it explains and solves the underlying cause of all our selfishness, anger and egocentricity. Of course this breakthrough explanation doesn’t condone or sanction the horrendous atrocities humans can commit rather, through bringing compassionate understanding to the source of humans’ upset behaviour, it gives us the power to ameliorate and thus subside and ultimately eliminate it, see FAQ 1.38 ‘Aren’t some people just born psychopathic, or even ‘evil’? / How does this explanation rehabilitate people capable of ‘evil’ behaviour? / Does this condone ‘evil’ behaviour?’. We hope you find these links helpful Robert and we send all our encouragement to pursue your interest.
Okko
Corrupted condition
We’re good not bad
We’re in an angry and psychotic state
I’m not sure if saying we’re inherently(?) good cuts it.
Given our knowledge of the above and especially with the escalating level of scientific knowledge we’ve acquired, why haven’t we totally overcome our upset? Especially, knowing that our self awareness of our goodness is nerve based?
I also want to understand why moving (and how) we are to address the factors that reinforce the factors that increasingly reinforce what we’re trying to run away from?
WTM Admin
Hi Okko, while it takes some time to digest, we suggest that what is unique about Jeremy Griffith’s work is that he has answered the essential question of why, when the universal ideals are to be integrative are we so disintegrative? Our endeavours in philosophy, psychology and biology have failed, until now, to provide a truthful, real, fully accountable, genuinely clarifying explanation. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents here. We suggest FAQ 1.13 ‘Is this original or new?’ and Video/Freedom Essay 4 which expands further on other thinkers (both ancient and contemporary) who have recognised the instinct and intellect elements involved in creating the human condition.
So previously we have had to rely on faith or belief we are inherently good, now, for the first time, we have rational understanding of our fundamental goodness. We can now actually understand from a biological perspective that despite the horrific anger, egocentricity and alienation that searching for knowledge caused in us, we are fundamentally good. As Jeremy says in THE Interview “this real instinct vs intellect explanation of the human condition fundamentally does is lift the ‘burden of guilt’ from the human race. That is the key relief for our mind [our nerve-based intellect]—being finally able to understand that we are good and not bad is what brings us the greatest psychological relief of all.”
Also, until now, how we acquired our ‘good’ or selfless moral instincts has been one of the great unanswered scientific questions. Primatologist Richard Wrangham described it as “A question that has lain unsolved at the core of biology ever since Darwin”, and Darwin himself described it as the “one special difficulty” with his concept of natural selection. As Jeremy then reveals in THE Interview “The answer is it was achieved in our forebears through nurturing”. This science of the love-indoctrination process that Jeremy explains (so called because to an infant observer the mother’s maternalism appears to be selfless, and so when infancy can be prolonged – as it was in our ape ancestors – that infant becomes ‘indoctrinated’ or trained in behaving selflessly) is fully presented in Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOMchapter 5 (and summarised in FAQ 5.2).
As THE Interview also discusses, Jeremy’s work presents a new paradigm that dares to confront the historically unbearably confronting and off-limits subject of the human condition so there is a lot to absorb and consider. Indeed, as Jeremy reveals in THE Interview, without the human condition now being defended, even the nurturing love-indoctrination process would be too confronting for most people to consider, which is why John Fiske’s formulation of the love-indoctrination process was allowed to die after he proposed it back in 1874, see FREEDOMchapters 6.3 and 6.4. So now with our fundamental goodness scientifically and compassionately explained we no longer have to “run away” from the human condition and so all the behaviours employed to do that are obsoleted — understood away! You might find our FAQ 1.40 helpful as it answers the questions ‘Aren’t the problems of the world too overwhelming to ever be fixed? / Isn’t it too late to save the world? / How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.

Darwin spoke about survival of the species not of the fittest. Marx paradigm became something else in interpretatiion.and perhaps effect comes at times before the cause. Deepest respect Anna
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment Anna, we greatly appreciate your interest. In THE Interview Jeremy Griffith makes the key biological distinction that humans suffer from the conscious-mind-based, psychologically troubled human condition, not the genetic-opportunism-based, animal condition. Jeremy explains that while we couldn’t admit that our selfish, aggressive behaviour was psychological in origin we have had to come up with all sorts of theories to account for our good and evil stricken condition, and the idea that we are selfish because we have savage animals instincts is the main an excuse we have had to use until we had the real defence for our condition. He also explains left wing thinkers use this excuse as the basis of its political philosophy (although Marx went a step further and claimed that we have no real instinctive orientation – that we are a ‘blank slate’) of imposing ideal behaviour. Jeremy also discusses Darwin and yes, most significantly, and as you are referring to, in the first edition of The Origin of Species Darwin did leave it undecided as to whether those individuals that reproduced more could be viewed as winners, as being ‘fitter’. Jeremy discusses this fully in his definitive book FREEDOM (chapter 2:9, paragraph 195). We appreciate your interest Anna and suggest you might enjoy Jeremy’s book, Death by Dogma, which is freely available here on our website, and which includes an analysis of Marxist thought. In it Jeremy emphasises that while it is easy to identify with the ideal of everyone being cooperative and loving, the whole objective of the human journey was to find understanding of why humans have not been cooperative and loving and instead so divisively competitive and aggressive. That is the great riddle of the human condition that had to be explained. Now at last we can understand why we humans have been competitive, aggressive and selfish, and, most wonderfully of all, by revealing that reason, the need for that divisive behaviour is ended.

I’m at the place where I am absolutely lost. I appreciate that at least some minds have been able to think themselves out of a place of what I call The Void. I aVoid most people due to the fact that I seem to upset people. I can’t be me because me is too MUCH. I know I’m not evil just lost:) I feel like a child in an adults body but now without the chemicals directing me or me shutting my chemicals down so I don’t make others feel uncomfortable! It’s become a state of FROZEN. I don’t know who I am supposed to be anymore, where I belong as I have been cast away as the problem. I see things different! I’ve been called weird and so I embrace that but my being unacceptable has made life dangerous for me. Thank you for giving me a possibility that might make my life bearable :) love you guys 💙
WTM Admin
Thank you for your comment and good wishes Lorene. The human condition has caused so much unbearable suffering it has been a deeply tragic reality but finally being able to understand the battle between our instinct and intellect is immensely relieving. However this explanation introduces an entirely new framework of knowledge, a massive paradigm shift in how we view humans, which takes time to absorb. This is extremely fascinating but also necessarily extremely confronting of all the psychological upset and denial that the human condition has caused, to varying degrees, in humans. We wanted to mention this because, as is summarised in our FAQ 1.19, this can be very confronting and destabilising on a personal level if people overly study it or rush into it so that is something everyone should be mindful of but especially those who have suffered trauma. This FAQ also points out that any information we do provide should not be used as, or as a substitute for, professional counselling or treatment. So take your time Lorene and what we suggest people find so significant and comforting about this explanation of the human condition is we no longer have to be burdened by the fundamental question of whether we are good or bad because our core goodness as individuals and as a species has been biologically established. We can know our psychological upset was the price all humans had to pay for searching for knowledge and that the human story presents the greatest, most heroic story ever told. So we can now treat ourselves with great compassion and love and we don’t have to overly confront the upset within us as the above FAQ explains.
Ron Selva
Its a great explanation of our diabolic Human Condition. It’s getting worse through the extremely rich social media platforms, as these selfishly promotes “me”, “me”, “me” to virtually all the youngsters and to many of the older generation. It has created a selfish sanctuary. Educating the general public is a good start. However, unless the lobby driven politicians, the greedy multinationals, the main-stream media and the various religious heads genuinely want to understand and buy-in to the Human Condition, its going to take several generations for this to have some effect (if we are lucky). So, to ensure success and speedup the process, the project needs a multi-facetted approach (with end goals clearly defined) for these global shakers, movers and decision makers to understand and buy-in to the Human Conditions and act on it, as it is the only way forward to save the world.
WTM Admin
Hi Ron, thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback. We appreciate your concerns and want to reassure you that we are doing all we can to get this world-saving understanding to everyone on the planet because, as you have realised, only this redeeming and rehabilitating understanding can heal humanity’s psychological upset. Certainly there is habituation to overcome and humans do find change very difficult but at last we can understand our behaviour has been driven by a deep insecurity about our fundamental goodness or worth and so now that our goodness is biologically established we no longer have to behave insecurely and selfishly and can legitimately return to a selfless way of living. ‘Legitimately’ because we have the first principle science which liberates us to be honest about our conflicted upset state instead of denying or transcending it. So instead of being focused on power, fame, fortune and glory, all our energies will be freed to truly work together on doing whatever it takes to end the suffering and save our world. How this healing is immediately open to us all is also summarised in FAQ 1.5. We also strongly recommend reading FAQ 1.40 which specifically addresses your question of ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power? / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’. It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”
So, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM, while “this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.” And we are well on our way as you can see from the excitement and relief in our daily ecstatic responses to THE Interview, and in the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work from thought leaders and WTM Centre founders all over the world, all of which you can read on our World Transformation Movement homepage.

Once and for all....it is not the human condition!!!!
It is the need for power BY MEN!!!
WTM Admin
At the heart of Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition is the revelation that all our astonishingly selfish and brutal behaviour, especially on the part of men, has been an unavoidable consequence of humans’ necessary search for self-knowledge. Now we have understanding of our human-condition-psychosis which is shared by all humans, women are finally able to reason and see that what men have been doing on this planet has been actually the most meaningful and heroic job of all. Men, it turns out, have not been villains, but the absolute heroes of the whole story of life on earth! This insight finally allows a real reconciliation between men and women. As molecular biologist Dr Anna Fitzgerald says in her commendation of Jeremy’s work: “because Griffith’s work establishes the equal worth or goodness of all humans we can now understand the different roles that men and women have traditionally played in the human journey and this is actually the unlocking point, this is what brings about deep empathy for each other, it heals the divide.” You can watch/read this Video/Freedom Essay 9 titled ‘This is the real liberation of women’.

It sounds like this could be the reason for all wars.
WTM Admin
Yes, John, the more you digest this information, the more you realise that the human condition is behind all our actions and motivations, including aggression in all its forms, such as war. War is a symptom of our insecure, human condition afflicted state. It follows that if you address that underlying insecurity, then aggression and wars will be removed. And that is what this information does – it addresses and solves that core insecurity about our self-worth. Yes, to solve our core insecurity, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy Griffith presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.

Sure hope for real hope at last
Olav S. Hansen
I am sorry, but this leaves me cold. Personally, I don’t feel an iota of responsibility for the “human condition”, but I have a keen eye for human suffering and its causes. As far as I can see, most people have no say in starting wars, creating deadly viruses and even deadlier vaccines, transferring extremely vast amounts of money to a few oligarks at the same time driving prices of food up to unsufferable levels for many etc. And I have no faith in the fiction of a “scientific community” being in the forefront of necessary change towards bonoban utopia. The scientist are first and foremost serving those who pay them and their agenda. Just a little glimpse of Mr Griffith and his supporters in all their gloy is enough to tell me this is a no-starter.
The most glaring fallacy though, is that nature itself contributes a lot to our suffering - with desease, old age and death. The bonobos can be happy in their innocence, not reflecting upon their personal demise.
WTM Admin
Thanks for your thoughts Olav. We suggest now we can understand the human condition, we can see that everyone has suffered from it, and all our institutions, including our governments (and the power-hungry everywhere, including oligarchs), have been a manifestation of our insecure, psychologically upset condition. Only solving the human condition can stop the destruction of our world that is happening everywhere we look. You recommend our FAQ 1.40 ‘How can you hope to transform the world? — In particular, how are you going to change the behaviour of the rich and powerful? / How are you going to reach the bastions of power?’
Certainly the scientific community needs to do much more to ensure that this understanding gets out to the world as quickly as possible, but, ultimately, it did need to be a scientific understanding that ended the human condition. We are thinking beings; we needed answers for our conscious thinking mind, without that all else is ultimately futile. Yes, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.
Finally, regarding your contention that the cause of our suffering is our ability to reflect upon “disease, old age and death”, in Jeremy Griffith’s new book The Human Condition, he introduces this superficial explanation of the human condition, writing that “The most evasive interpretation of the ‘human condition’ is to say it is about the physical and practical hardships and struggles to survive in human life, like having to find a suitable place and dwelling to live in, or having at times to endure natural disasters like floods and droughts, or having to cope with famine or poverty or remoteness or isolation. However, such physical and practical hardships of human existence are not at all what the human condition really is. The human condition is not a physical struggle but a mental struggle. It refers to a question we wrestle with in our mind. Less evasive interpretations of the human condition do recognise that it has something to do with a mental struggle, but these guilt-free accounts still find a way to avoid going anywhere near what that struggle really is. Such interpretations include saying that the human condition is the despair that comes with being conscious because it makes us realise we will die someday; or that the human condition is simply the terror we conscious humans experience from having the free will to choose what to do without knowing the outcome.” Before going on to explain that the real issue of the human condition is the agony of being unable to answer the question of, “why have we been not just competitive, selfish and aggressive, but so ferociously aggressive and brutal, so extremely self-preoccupied and selfish, and so deeply unaware and estranged from being able to feel for others—in fact, so psychologically angry, egocentric and alienated that life has become all but unbearable and we have nearly destroyed our own planet? Are we essentially bad, a flawed species, an evolutionary mistake, a blight on Earth, a cancer in the universe?”

Wonderful
Mind blown. Finally I understand what everything means.
I want to hear all about it. I want joy, happiness and a free mind and spirit
Hi Vickie, after watching THE Interview we hope you visit our homepage — HumanCondition.com — as it provides a wonderful road map to progress with all our key materials, which we’ve made freely available. Also our Facebook Group provides a wonderful platform for participating in, or just observing, interesting and exciting discussion with others about how we can live with this critical new science, and access, as you say, “joy, happiness and a free mind and spirit.”
Heard and watched the interview, it was very enlightening and informative. Thank you for making it free to access so one can be sure of learning the human condition in a whole...
Thank you for your help.
Very good come to Ireland
Hi Rita, we have over 80 WTM Centres around the world, including 16 in the United Kingdom and Ireland. So we are coming to all corners of the globe!
I know this will sound simplistic to many “intellectuals” but this is why we were “given” The Ten Commandments. Follow them and our “human condition” will greatly improve.
Heel leerzaam en nog veel leren. (Very educational and still much to learn [tr. from Dutch].)
Thanks Roelina, it’s great you’ve watched THE Interview as it’s the ideal introduction to Jeremy Griffith’s explanation of the human condition. From there, at top of our World Transformation Movement homepage at HumanCondition.com, it states ‘WHAT NEXT after watching THE Interview?’ and guides you through the steps to pursue your interest. This includes subscribing to our mailing list where you will receive one email per week and occasional News Flashes. We also encourage people to join our Facebook Group to learn more about this amazing, human-condition-resolved new world. We are a not-for-profit organisation and make all our material and publications free to read online, watch, listen to and even download and print!
Insightful indeed. This forms the base of human moral development.
I don’t need a scholars degrees to see the Truth. Plain and simple we’re living the wrong way, where not living with the planet we’re living against it. Living in a way that has no respect for Mother nature. Where controlled by the rich and greedy who are control freaks who have lost their Souls to money power and self.
Great achievement!
Stunning!!!
Must share
Very thought provoking. The Mormon, or LDS, church has taught since its beginning that Adam and Eve made the correct choice.
Life is crazy, I’d love to understand it.
You may also be interested in joining the WTM’s Facebook Group, where so many people like yourself — over 90,000 in fact — are sharing their excitement in discovering this information.
Thank you so much for this presentation. I can feel the beginnings of the “transformation rumble”! I consider myself to be in this transformation & will be behaving as such, healing & awakening spirits along the way.
With much gratitude~
✨️🙏 💖 🙏✨️
Thank you Mr Griffith
Amazing
I enjoy the responses, BUT, Words are easier said than actions. Intent is wonderful but I fear to many people are already hardwired for unnecessary confrontational episodes of hate, narcissist behavior and the I need more than you. $$$.
You’re message has been Available from the beginning, it’s just becoming time to Awaken, just sayin' because it’s true ❤️ `~
See FAQ 6.5 which explains the critical difference between Jeremy’s work and the New Age Movement.Yin/Yang equals One in the Full Circle of Life..all encompassed in the Soul/Brain. I had an Aesthetic Philosophy Professor that I would like to “Remember” with this “New” Thought...Thank you Gentlemen.! Awesome!
Thank you, I am learning something new.
It’s interesting. I’m impressed by the reviews
Thanks Julius. We hope you pursue your interest because you will see why, for example, Professor Harry Prosen, former President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, described Jeremy’s work as “THE 11TH HOUR BREAKTHROUGH BIOLOGICAL EXPLANATION OF THE HUMAN CONDITION NECESSARY FOR THE PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION AND TRANSFORMATION OF OUR SPECIES!” Go to our Commendations and Reviews page to see more.
Very good knowledge, wishing to educate those of this generation.
Amazingly refreshing. So judgement is the real sin.
Now at last we can understand why we humans have been competitive, aggressive and selfish, and, most wonderfully of all, by revealing that reason, the need for that divisive behaviour is ended. wonderfully,
Interesting article. Deep thought never ends
Check it out!
It is an incredible human potential. Very good and powerful human understanding, knowledge and experience of our human beings.
Thank you.
These issues are expanded further in the FAQs, especially FAQ 1.3 (a brief summary of the instinct-vs-intellect explanation) and FAQ 1.10 (the scientific evidence for it).Very true
Extremely Intuitive Believable Simple Ironic The Only Explanation I have ever heard that makes Sense.. I want to Share This with Everyone I Can.. 🗽❤️🩹🗽🫶🗽❤️🔥🗽
Incredible discovery.
Wow! Am so amazed after listening to video of the explanation
Awesome info
Very profound and robust explanation. Gripping and spell binding. This is the final piece of the puzzle.
Makes a ton of sense!
Many outstanding truths are simple, yet extremely valuable, logical, real and easy to live replace in our own lives. Thanks
This what is needed for a time such as this!!!
Wow…
Have you researched the Qur’an regarding this matter?
Very interesting and it did point my way in a very right direction
Great, what religion has tried you have successfully mastered in a scientific way. This is the turning point for humanity.
Very satisfying, reasonable, admirable and valuable. Very EXCELLENT and worthy.
Interesting and educative.
Where can I buy the book?
Yolanda, you can immediately access a copy of Jeremy Griffith’s book FREEDOM (or THE Interview) on the World Transformation Movement homepage under the ‘WHAT NEXT’ section. You will see you can freely access an electronic copy to read, listen to or download. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you are particularly after a hardcopy of Jeremy Griffith’s books they are available to purchase from Amazon and other good bookstores.
I am only just beginning to have a read. Sounds exciting and can’t wait to discover what the human condition is all about!
It will be interesting to truly understand the human condition that has created plethora of problems to mankind across the globe. Especially in the aspect of self-centeredness and greed. I hope to join WTM in one way or the other and participate in the sensitization of the human condition.
I need a few more listens to fully absorb this. It’s exciting!
I think i was blind. Before seeing this.
Fascinating and a gift to us all. Let’s wake up together. Thank You
What about those of us that never got the nurturing at all? Are we lost ones then? Do you explain us as the evil ones?
No Suzanne — the explanation is the opposite of that. The theory does not divide people into the nurtured “good” and the unnurtured “evil.” The core premise of THE Interview is that ALL HUMANS ARE EQUALLY GOOD.The human condition has caused such unthinkable pain and suffering it is almost unimaginable. We have found the key understanding that ends the underlying pain in our brains and allows the human race to become sound and sane again!”Im very interested in hearing more. I’ve been thinking before I heard your interview about this. thanks I thought I was the only person who thought this way. so true about the world around us and the human race. The world needs to hear this to bring peace, joy, and happiness to the world again 🙏 ❤️

I recognised an extraordinarily human state amongst Solomon Islanders living traditional village lives in my youth. I also have tapped into a feeling of oneness with the universe through guidance combined with solitude. This video aligns with my personal discoveries
Enchanted
Have you ever seen an animal pay back a kindness to a human, instinct and intellect exist together, There has always been something before understanding.
Animals clearly show memory, learning, emotion, and reciprocity. They can respond to kindness and adapt behaviour based on experience. That’s not in dispute. What is different in humans is the emergence of a fully self-managing, questioning intellect — one that is so developed that it can understand cause and effect to the extent that it can send people to the moon and back!So yes, instinct and intellect can and do coexist in other animals to a limited extent, but intellect is still subservient to instinct. The issue raised in THE Interview is that when the human intellect became sufficiently conscious to try to run behaviour independently, it inevitably came into conflict with instinctive expectations that had previously guided behaviour automatically.“There has always been something before understanding” is exactly right. What has now been explained is simply that once consciousness reached the point where it could take over self-management from the instincts, it created a psychological problem that other animals — however intelligent or social — haven’t encountered.I am very curious to know what is exatcly is the human condition can you list the caractheristics of it, the benefits pro and con.
Hi Londy, all is answered in our FAQ 1.1 'What is the human condition?' and biologist Jeremy Griffith’s latest book THE HUMAN CONDITION: What exactly is it, what caused it, and how the human race has finally liberated itself from the horror of it. We also suggest you watch or read THE Interview in which Jeremy presents his breakthrough ‘Instinct vs Intellect’ explanation of the human condition, it’s the ideal introduction to his work at it is free at the top of our homepage HumanCondition.com.

My understanding is that Scientists don’t believe in a God
Very powerful I need more of this God bless you
A consequential great text book.
Does thought project into consciousness? Does the laws of physics have to evolve to accommodate this paradigm shift as science advances
We recommend FAQ 5.4 ‘What is consciousness and why did humans become conscious when other animals haven’t?’ and chapter 7 of Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM which provides a comprehensive explanation of how full consciousness developed in humans as a result of nurturing or the love-indoctrination process which is absolutely fascinating.Jeremy also explains in THE Interview there exists a clear theme or purpose or meaning of existence, which is the ordering or integration of matter, a process that is driven by the physical law of Negative Entropy and on which this understanding is based – see FAQ 5.3 ‘What is the meaning of life? This is literally true in a sense I never thought of
A lot to cogitate.
How do I get a copy?
Hi Joseph, it is wonderful you want a copy of THE Interview!! You can immediately access a copy on the World Transformation Movement homepage under the ‘WHAT NEXT’ section. You can also download free Kindle versions from Amazon. If you are particularly after a hardcopy of Jeremy’s books they are available to purchase from Amazon and other good bookstores.
Thank you!
I see your works being praised, and want to have an understanding of your thoughts

Incredible Information
As heavy as it is for my level of intellect , I need to study this explanation until I have a complete understanding of it. Because, after all the huge amount of time that has passed during which time so many atrocious acts by us humans have committed, it is well and truly needed for us to simply change our ways.
Corrupted condition We’re good not bad We’re in an angry and psychotic state I’m not sure if saying we’re inherently(?) good cuts it.
That is the key relief for our mind [our nerve-based intellect]—being finally able to understand that we are good and not bad is what brings us the greatest psychological relief of all.”Also, until now, how we acquired our ‘good’ or selfless moral instincts has been one of the great unanswered scientific questions. This science of the love-indoctrination process that Jeremy explains (so called because to an infant observer the mother’s maternalism appears to be selfless, and so when infancy can be prolonged – as it was in our ape ancestors – that infant becomes ‘indoctrinated’ or trained in behaving selflessly) is fully presented in Jeremy’s definitive book FREEDOM chapter 5 (and summarised in FAQ 5.2).As THE Interview also discusses, Jeremy’s work presents a new paradigm that dares to confront the historically unbearably confronting and off-limits subject of the human condition so there is a lot to absorb and consider. Indeed, as Jeremy reveals in THE Interview, without the human condition now being defended, even the nurturing love-indoctrination process would be too confronting for most people to consider, which is why John Fiske’s formulation of the love-indoctrination process was allowed to die after he proposed it back in 1874, see FREEDOM chapters 6.3 and 6.4. / Won’t the greedy and power-hungry simply ignore this?’.This is awesome. Need more of this type of information
Very educative and incredibly awakening.
Darwin spoke about survival of the species not of the fittest. Marx paradigm became something else in interpretatiion.and perhaps effect comes at times before the cause. Deepest respect Anna
Excited to learn more about the Human Condition. Thank you for this opportunity. Shawn
Fascinating & insightful breakthrough insights!
It explains that “Even those who were most committed to defensively seeking validation through gaining power and material goods, including those entrenched in positions of power, will quickly realise how empty and obsolete that strategy is now that we have the fully accountable, psychosis-addressing-and-solving, real biological explanation of the human condition that proves our worth at the most fundamental level.”So, as Jeremy explains in chapter 9.9 of his book FREEDOM, while “this new world for humans, which the World Transformation Movement has been established to facilitate, will have a slow beginning because humans initially find it difficult even taking in or ‘hearing’ discussion about the human condition, once the WTM is discovered, word of it and what it offers every human and the world will spread like wildfire.” And we are well on our way as you can see from the excitement and relief in our daily ecstatic responses to THE Interview, and in the rapidly growing appreciation and support for Jeremy’s work from thought leaders and WTM Centre founders all over the world, all of which you can read on our World Transformation Movement homepage.I love it

Once and for all....it is not the human condition!!!! It is the need for power BY MEN!!!

I’ve heard so much of this Interview... I’m sure there’s something to it..
58 and only now hearing something that makes sense
His scientific assertions are so convincing and self divulging. It’s is an eye-opener.
Most spectacular and informative way of putting things 🤔💯
It sounds like this could be the reason for all wars.
Sure hope for real hope at last
I am sorry, but this leaves me cold.
How are you going to reach the bastions of power?’Certainly the scientific community needs to do much more to ensure that this understanding gets out to the world as quickly as possible, but, ultimately, it did need to be a scientific understanding that ended the human condition. We are thinking beings; we needed answers for our conscious thinking mind, without that all else is ultimately futile. Yes, ultimately we needed to find the scientific explanation for why when the universal ideals are to be loving, cooperative and selfless are we so angry, competitive and selfish. Answering this question required finding the clarifying difference between the way the intellect and instincts work, and that is the great biological breakthrough Jeremy presents in THE Interview and his book FREEDOM.Finally, regarding your contention that the cause of our suffering is our ability to reflect upon “disease, old age and death”, in Jeremy Griffith’s new book The Human Condition, he introduces this superficial explanation of the human condition, writing that “The most evasive interpretation of the ‘human condition’ is to say it is about the physical and practical hardships and struggles to survive in human life, like having to find a suitable place and dwelling to live in, or having at times to endure natural disasters like floods and droughts, or having to cope with famine or poverty or remoteness or isolation. Are we essentially bad, a flawed species, an evolutionary mistake, a blight on Earth, a cancer in the universe?”Two days ago, events catapulted me into the realization that I was my own worst enemy and now I am “here”! Thank You!
