Video of the launch of FREEDOM
at the Royal Geographical Society in London

Biologist Jeremy Griffith’s world-saving book FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition was launched at the Royal Geographical Society in London in June 2016. Following an introduction by renowned mountaineer Tim Macartney-Snape, an amazing dialogue ensued in which Sir Bob Geldof, who was essentially knighted for his concern for humanity, made a plea for scientists like Jeremy to save the world. Jeremy then presented that desperately needed scientific solution to the world’s problems, which is the reconciling explanation of our species’ ‘good and evil’-conflicted human condition. In the process Jeremy was also able to explain why the idealistic dogma of Sir Bob’s left-wing philosophy has actually oppressed the search for knowledge and worked against progress to enlightenment.

Read a slightly expanded transcript of this video in the booklet Transform Your Life And Save The World, that includes, in addition, Jeremy’s description of the transformation of the human race that is made possible by the explanation of the human condition. Incidentally, Transform Your Life provides the ideal introduction to Jeremy’s book FREEDOM: The End Of The Human Condition.

In particular, with the subject of the human condition being so confronting, malice can easily occur, and where comments are deemed to be motivated not by objectivity but by malice, they will be declined. It has to be appreciated that the possibility of malice toward this subject matter is very real, and we have a responsibility to manage that as best we can.

I found this an extremely powerful presentation. From the extract of Sir Laurens van der Post saying at the same venue years ago that ‘We must go sharply into reverse, we must rehabilitate ourselves, we must get our old natural selves to join with our conscious, wilful, rational, scientific selves’; to Sir Bob Geldof urging us to question, read and talk about Freedom and that he hopes it makes us think afresh and differently like it did with him; to Jeremy’s summary of Freedom itself. Very uplifting and important food for thought. Thank you

It was very special to be able to watch this launch of the most important book ever written, thank you.

I agree with Finch, it was all very powerful to see. Jeremy’s words below from his presentation were so impacting regarding the significance of this day for the human race.

“And as I will seek to make very clear today, unless the reconciling understanding of the human condition was found, as it now is in FREEDOM, the rapidly escalating pain and alienation in humans was only going to increase at such a rapid rate and to such an extent that all the suffering the human race has experienced to this point in time would pale in comparison to the amount of human suffering that was coming our way”.

“The fact is, what is being presented here today provides the only doorway out of the incredible crisis the human race is now in, so please, please listen to what I have to say…I might mention it has been a 50 year journey to get to this day…”.

This looked like a really incredible event. So interesting to watch it all. The truthful biology section with Jeremy explaining the adam stork story is especially fascinating. This story is simple in one sense but there is so much in it and I’m enjoying exploring this work and learning more and more about it. there’s a particular part in it that is so good to hear. It’s where Jeremy says that we had to find the redeeming reconciling understanding of ourselves, of our dark side and it that that will stop all the problems in the world. I was blown away by that. Thanks again for these videos, they’re so good.

Logical psychological explanation of how life benefits from self reflection and so understanding of ourself and others in our trauma of conflicting reactions verses flow of acceptance and forgiveness of self and others. Working towards a common goal of respect for all that is good. Empowernment through knowledge. Thank you

After having read Freedom, Transform your life and much more material including videos it was reinforcing to hear the launch talk. The information is astounding and life changing. However, it was understood due to patience and total immersion. Maybe a more childlike explanation would have the power to reignite humanities weakened flame.
    With very best regards

Hi Lesley, thank you for your wonderful feedback and yes, the simpler we can make the explanation the better, but the deeper problem people have is the very confronting nature of the subject matter and this is what needs to be, and is, addressed by Jeremy in Video/F. Essay 1 where it’s emphasised that breaking through the deaf effect does require patient perseverance because the subject of the human condition has historically been the most terrifying of subjects for humans to face. You might be interested also to hear a powerful account of this in a video by Bill and Cindy McCaugherty from the WTM Canada West Coast Centre, which has been ‘voted the most helpful talk’. You might also be interested to read FAQ 1.16 which further explains why people find it so difficult to read/hear discussion about the human condition.
